In light of the recent persecution of Catholics by the nation of VoteEarly, and the continued persecution of various ethnic and religious groups throughout the world, the fledgling nation of Elanos feels it necessary to officially and publicly announce its 'open arms' policy concerning all refugees.
For this purpose a refugee can be considered anyone who has adequate reason to fear for their safety if they choose to remain in their current nation.
The nation of Elanos can offer no further security to refugees than the promise of secrecy, as the nation of Elanos has no military to speak of.
Our nation is blanketed with lush forests and surrounded by mountains impassible to most land transportaion. There is a single airstrip in central Elanos.
Help from other nations in transporting refugees from their oppressors would be appreciated.
Refugees are expected to act in accordance with the laws of Elanos. Failure to comply will result in extradtion to the country of origin.
