OOC: Kuwait did belong to Smarcronesia, but after an attempt to TG him, I found that his nation no longer exist. So I am claiming Kuwiat on Earth III, which he owned. I need someone to RP as Kuwiat.

IC: President al-Sahaf had waited for this opportunity for a very long time. After all Kuwait was second on his list since the begging. Pakistan was first, and Kuwait was to be next, but one thing led to another and his invasion of Kuwait kept getting pushed back. But now, it was time. He was turning a gap of peace time into a time of expandation.

al-Sahaf sent the following message to the people of Kuwait:
"The nation of Kuwait is now owned by the Empire of Grays Hill. Troops will be sent in to secure your nation, in the name of Those who are Gray. I urge you not to fight, because your rebellion will be quelled."

Spec. Op "Commandos" snuck behind Kuwaiti lines, and secured oil fields. 100,000 men crossed the border into Kuwait, to plant the Grays Hillian flag. No bombings took place because al-Sahaf wanted the people to like him. But should they turn down his proposal to enter the Empire of Grays Hill, then extra force would be put on Kuwait, and it would be taken competely by force.

International Update - From Kuwait, Kuwait

The Kuwaiti Military has had major moral problems along with rank disputes. As the forgein forces march acorss the western border, the ranks suggest to form a strong hold while privates want a head-on battle to defend their country.

In a freak accident, a civil dispute has errupted as the long-time wishing for independance island state of Bubiyan has suceeded from the Kuwaiti State.

The new state has, after a federal meeting, claimed the lives of only four men. Al Ahmadi, Al Farwaniyah, Al 'Asimah and Al Jahra', leaving Kuwait leaderless as the council is also broken between each sector of the state on what to do.

The navy had puts full support on Bubiyan, which has also gotten the most support from the army. The airforce is also grounded, not a single aircraft has launched since the killing of the four ex-leaders of Kuwait.

Confusion errupts as citizens go about their daily lives, as a rule under Gray Hills would be no different than from Kuwait.

A state in darkness, future unknown.

As for Bubiyan, it has taken up to arms. Reserves have been called, and a 34,000 man army is building with a 12-ship fleet. They were prepair ingfor a war with both Kuwait and Gray Hills.

===================

Back in Kuwait, 25,000 men pushed for Abdali. It was very close to the border, and there was a lot of Grays Hillian influence. So resistance was likely to be small. 1,000 Marines were loaded on ships and made a short trip to the Island of Warbah. The island was very close to Iraq, less than a mile, so it wouldnt take long to get there. Once they were landing on the beach, another group of Marines, consisting of 50,000 men were being geared up. they loaded on their amphibious craft one by one. Several hours later, all the boats were loaded, and they were heading for the northern shore of Bubiyan. This ride was short too, for it was just past the Island of Warbah.
===================

Back on the mainland of Kuwait, troops crossed into Kuwait from Iraq and Saudi Arabia. They all headed across the barren dessert, headed towards the bigger cities of Kuwait, all on the coast. A small force of 20,000 men crossed the southern Kuwaiti/Saudi Arabian. Once in Kuwait, they split in half, 2 groupd of 10,000 men. One group headed for the coastal city of Qasr, and the other headed for Al Wafrah. Qasr was about a mile across the border, and Al Wafrah as about 5 miles across the border. Kuwait was falling.

I am sorry for this brief rant....But I just wished it was more like rl for once such as sanctions and such....

No offencve, but if you hate the Earths, don't be in them. As to the Earths, well, the world was once in chaos, remember the Roman and Persian Empires? Annexation left and right.

Now, we have just moderized it. Plus, this is an Earth that has no UN. Such a thing was never created. Although I was thinking of creating the UR (United Republics), I have yet to do such a thing. Maybe if you would like, we could work on it together later or something.

Osama al-Sahaf was getting pissed at this islands stubborness. He was prepared to teach them a lesson. With the invasion force on the horizion, and closing in fast, he ordered a massive naval and aerial bombardment of the island to destroy and kill any military target, and military personell. 10 B-52s took off and within 2 minutes, were over the island, and the carpet bombing started. They were escorted by 7 F-35s, who were not only to supply protection, but do a little damage theirselves. The F-35s were to strike anything on the beaches that would present a problem to the marines.

The planes roaring overhead was a massive moral booster to the marines who were landing on the beaches as the attack had finished. In what seemed like a year to the marines, the 30 minute long trip to the island was over. They poured onto the beaches in waves of 5 thousand. In several minutes, they were all on the beach, and headed inland. With a beach head now secured, al-Sahaf ordered 150 M1A2 MBTs to the island in and effort to quickly quell the rebellion.

Back on mainland Kuwait, forces had pushed across the small country at break neck speed. They were now outside the capital. A force of 10,000 men pushed into the capital city, Kuwait City, and overflowed its streets. Guerilla attacks and resistance fighters were few and far between, because of the Hillian influence, and the fear of a quick but painful death.

All of Kuwait had falled eccept for the island of Bubiyan, and it was prooving to be a pain in the neck, but it too would fall.

Kuwait as a nation was almost gone, but Bubiyan was not.

On the coasts, thousands firred at the incomming marines as bombers bombed the beachs and internal military bases that were near-empty.

Anti-Aircraft Patriot Systems firred at the B-52Hs and F-35s. After a B-52H had finished its last drop, a SAM missle firred up from a camoed possition and hit right inbetween the left end and inner engine pylon.

The large bomber almost hit an F-35, which was hit and was losing altitude also. They both crashed into the desert of inner-Bubiyan.

An other B-52H was hit, but was still flying straight with heavy strains. An F-35 was firred at, but not hit.

The coast was now a large-scale fire fight. Rocket fire from Bubiyean forces had killed some inside amphibious craft before they had even landed. Morters and anti-tank rockets were being used to take out these sea-to-land vehicles but the real problem was the close-fire fight as the amphibious craft landed and openned.

A Bubiyean running down the coast tossed a small FRAG grenade inside an unarmed transport as it had landed blidnly, having a Morter hit the top of the vehicle the thing was now running driverless and blindly into the rocky shore.

The all-infantry transport was hit from the inside, killing most inside and injuring heavily the rest.

The few remainning tanks that the Bubiyeans had was firring frantically at close-to-shore amphibious commands and incomming landing ships.

Bubiyan had already lost 450 men from the bombing and coastal assualts. A hundred and fifty of their tanks had been reduced to seventy two, and the airforce was destroyed with an exception to an F-16X Advanced Fighting Falcon that was en-route to Bubiyan from a Kuwaiti airforce base after the bombing run. It was tasked to arm with the few anti-shipping missles, and hit any aircraft carriers or destroyers.

OOC: Mind posting some division/fleet information so I can do a little pilot engagment, I love doing those.

The forces on Bubiyan were underestimated. Their AA capability was unknown. Osama al-Sahaf was fed up with them now. He ordered in 20 F-16s and 15 F-15s to hit enemy troops, and tanks. 10 more B-52s were sent to do more carpet bombing. And a single F-117 was sent to look for the lone F-16 remaining on the island. All naval bombardment had stopped, because troops were scattered across the beaches and the risk of friendly fire was great. There were only a few ships now left near the coas of Bubiyan, and those were the landing craft 4 Spruance destroyers, and 3 Missile cruisers. As the 150 M1A2s were unloading, they came under fire. 127 made it on the beach successfully, and they hit the sand firing. Fighting was intense. More close air support was needed. 16 AH-64 Apaches flew out to the battlefield to aid in the destruction of enemy forces.

IC:

Northern Viet Nam

Under the dark waters of the Pacific the 5th Interdiction Fleet launches from dock unseen by satellites, spy planes, or even spys themselves.

It is on its way to the coast of Manchuria, where it will be monitering by AUSTIN-4 Uplink all known silos in North Korea. Its' mission is to surface a Skylink-class Protectorate Boat to fire a barrage of missles, developed for anti-ICBM standerds, at any and all missles firred torwards the west, where the main forces of the Eart Three are located.

"We ask that Eternal-Dragons stand down admediatly. Such force can not be tolerated in such a close neighbor. If we must, we shall make hostile actions agenst them." Commented Presidente Jewitt in a roaring voice of an ex-rocker.

As if by magic, the Emerald Shield Network was also activated, ready to fire balistic, nuclear, spread-sheet, or any orther form of missle at any enemy force at any moment.

OOC: Now as Bubiyan. Also, I do not want any nuclear weapons to be used past mines and SpecOp charges.

IC:

Bubiyean coastal forces, although protected by the rocky shores, were massicured by incomming missles and additional bombers. Although many M1A5 Abrams Air-Search Air-Attack Tanks took out the first two bombers, they could not stop the rest.

Other SAM systems were firring at incomming fighters and SEAD craft as they entered range. A total of 14 fighters were shot down all over the island.

The F-16X, however, was heading right to the naval fleet, dangerously low for an in-experianced pilot, a 25ft altitude.

She looked along the board. It was a digital-conventional hybrid control panel, most of the dials destroyed by a fight she had gotten into so she could fly, let alone, betray her nation.

She at the low speeds, only to find the fleet on radar. She was invisible on the fleet's radar, but she could be seen and heard.

Her missle information than changed to [LOCKED] and she pressed the firring trigger.

The Sunspot anti-shipping missle dropped and sped. It was running right for a Wasp-class that was comming its way to help the falling coastal front. If she could get rid of a single amphibious she, than her death would be as loyal of all to stop ten to twenty tanks and nearly double that in infantry from attacking her people.

She launched three more in 30-secound intervals and than she entered the visual range of the crew. They admediatly starting firring in a large crackling sound overcame her. She saw nothing more, but the bird she was in saw a dark resting place, far below the surface of the gulf.

Three middles flew torwards the Wasp-class while an other flew at a Spruance-class. The missle hit the destroyer, and the non-deployed Wasp-class got hit directly, even with the aid of the other destroyer.

It began to sink and many started to jmp off of the deck. A helicopter made it off, but in the haste of launching it had no fuel and crashed on its way to the nearest destroyer.

So far, only one ship casualty and an aircraft casualty in the gulf. Yet, the tanks were proving a threat to the incomming landing craft and the coast was still dotted with anti-aircraft and anti-missle systems.

al-Sahaf was becomming increasing frustrated. He was going to show no mercy now. He ordered 40 F-35s to attack SAMs and AA guns on the island. Upon their return, 15 B-2s were to go airborne drop their bombs anywhere they wanted, and 12 B-52s were to accompany them with carpet bombing.
"They have a single plane, and a few SAMs and AA guns," he thought to himself, "how hard could it be!?" He also ordered another 25,000 men to get loaded and head for an unknown location in Kuwait.
=================

Meanwhile on the island of Bubiyan, forces and tanks kept the fight going. Fighting was still intense. The Apaches were constantly flying around shooting at, and blowing up tanks and small groups of men here and there, but the SAMs made it ever difficult. 10 A-10 attackers were ordered to also help in giving close air support to the ground troops.

On mainland Kuwait, all but a bit of the Capital was captured. One final offensive push, and it was completly secured. The main focus was now securing Bubiyan.
================

Several hours later, the group of 25,000 were all loaded and they headed around the island, and made an amphibious landing on the southern tip of Bubiyan. They were provided constant close air support by F-35s. They were there incase this elusive F-16 came out to attack the ships.

In Bubiyan, the Southern front had openned as the Northern front was slowly turnning into the Bubiyean favor.

They were not totally prepaired for a fight there, as the main defence were only post-Iraq war mine fields based all along the coast, which was why the southern half of the island was never civilized completely since it was a point to stop Iraqi forces years ago.

The Bubiyean Naval Fleet, a 12-ship fleet, was engaging the fleet in the south. 8 La Combattante I-class, 2 Lurssen FPB 57-class, and 2 Hamina-class boats were in the entire navy, and this one had all of those.

They were fast and delt a high power of gunnery systems. The two Hamina's launched anti-aircraft missles along with medium-range sea-skimming missles appon engagement.

The forces slowly walked onto the beach, slowly. They had no resistance under a large crackling of the air was heard and soldier fell. "Sniper!" Yelled a man as they all dropped into boulders and sand pits that were created at coastal bombardment.

A thump was heard, almost as loud as the sniper's round, and a grenade exploded right on a soldier's back.

The war began on the southern front, but the Bubiyeans were not moving, only drawing the Hillians more inland. It became aparent to why. A man, deciding to use his heavy assualt rifle to the best of the advantage, ran up the beach, dodgeing rounds, and than blew from a large flame commong forth from the sand.

They had just landed on a mine field. Before they noticed it, they were right on the eastern edge of the mine field, and the landing craft were comming on their west.

All fire covnentionaly was concentraiting on radiomen and transitioners and RPGs were being concentraited on boulder-cowering soldiers.

As the first landing craft landed, nothing happened. A tank was rolling out after the infantry ran along the water's edge and it ran right into one of the few mines along the outer coast. It blew, damaging the landing craft and stopping the secound tank in there.

The same sights, or worst, were seen all along the coast, and by the time the Hillians noticed what was happening, the naval fleet was assaulting them and the amphibious transports had 75% of their cargo lost and deployed.

A naval battle had begun, pure missle warfare at its best.

The northern front was not looking good for the Hillians, even after the bombing runs had covered most of the military bases, that were of cource empty, and the entire coast was battered with holes from 500lb and 1,000lb conventional bombs.

Still the now-some 450 men on the northern coast and the southern had 1,200, which was about to split in half to cover more of the southern borders.

The Hillians were not doing what was best for their slaughtering military.

President al-Sahaf threw his cup of coffee at the wall upon reading the battle report. His intel had not pointed out mine field on the southern end of the battle, and now, thanks to their mess up, thousands of his men were dieing. Over what? A small strip of land? "Well," he thought to himself "I will just have to kick it up a notch."

He picked up the phone and pressed speed dial number 3, the Commaning General of the Airforce Combat and Development Command. General Mahmod Fedayin answered with a quick "Yes, sir?" President al-Sahaf cleared his thoat. "Burn them. Showing who they are messing with. Spare no one. I want every inch of that island not occupied by our troops to have a bomb dropped on it...at the same time. Not just any bombs, we have to use something destructive. Show them how napalm works." He hung up the phone.

He then called speed dial number 4, the Commanding General of the Naval Combat and Development Command. General Saddam al-Dubari answered, "Hello?" He had failed to look at the caller I.D. to see who was calling. al-Sahaf cleared his throat, and al-Dubari glanced down at the caller I.D. "Pound them." al-Sahaf commanded. "Pound them into oblivion. Start off using subs. Use a few Seawolfs to destroy the 'Navy'. Then call out some of the big boys. Get destroyers, cruisers, subs, missile destroyers, and missile cruisers out there and pound them until there is nobody left to pound. And make sure their SAMs and AA guns are spiked, I don't want a repeat of the last bit of ships we had there." He hung up the phone.

Within minutes of getting off the phone with the Airforce General, had called in the strikes. 40 B-52s, 25 F-15s, 30 F-35s, 20 B-2s, 15 F-117s, 30 F-16s and 35 Su-34s were ordered to fly out to the island and bomb every inch not already captured. The island would burn. Within minutes they were over the island. The B-52s just capret bombed the island at will, flying in a checker board pattern to cover everything. The F-15s were to use napalm. They dropped it on the forrest to burn them. Nobody was going to hide in there, well, in what was left of them after the intense bombing. The F-35s, B-2s, and F-117s focused on the cities, bombing the cities at will. The F-16s Focused on costal targets, along with the Su-34s pounded.

On the high seas. 15 Seawolf subs sped towards the enemies naval vessels. They snuck up on them, and what seemed to be out of nowhere, unvieled a large torpedoe attack, catching them off gaurd. The seamen on the ships ran around like crazy, with explosions here and there, sending them flying into the ocean. It looked like a scene from Pearl Harbor. Then came the rest of what was ordered. The subs came further up north, to rondevous with the rest of the fleet. 15 Spruance class Destroyers, 12 Oliver Hazard Perry Destroyer/Frigates, 14 Ticonderoga Cruisers, 10 Arleigh Burke AEGIS Destroyers, 15 Krasina/Slava class Guided Missile Cruisers, and 13 Sovremenny class Guided Missile Destroyers made upf the rest of the fleet. They were all equpited with SAMs and AA guns. It didnt take long for them to meet up, because it wasnt that far to travel.

There they sat, about 50 miles from the island, a safe distance away, but close enough to strike. All at once, missiles fired from the ships rained down on Bubiyan. Their targets were anything on the beaches. Once those were destroyed, then their targets were things further inland. As this was going on, a force of 50,000 Marines rounded the island of Warbah, headed for Bubiyan. They were to land on the northern end of the island and help the Marines already there. The poured onto the beaches, without being fired upon. It was either because they were going to be ambushed, along with the rest of the marines, or because he enemy was being pounded to hell with the massive naval and aerial bombardment. They knew that it was probably the ladder of the two, but they took no chances and were prepared for battle.

The battle for the new nation had ended. All the cities, not just the majority, but all the cities were ruins. The population of nearly 400,000 citizens had dropped drastically to barely 120, and was still dieing out as many died from burns of the napalm, homes being destroyed by bombs, or raiding marines braging in and firring at anything that radiated heat and moved.

No surrender message was sent to the Hillian government, most were dead.

The war had ended, but at what price? The Kuwaiti people who respected the new island nation would protest. Terrorist organizations would rise. And peace would never come.

The people on mainland Kuwait didnt care much at the massive destruction of the island. They knew that they wanted independence, and it served them right that that amount of destruction came to them, or at least in their eyes. al-Sahaf didnt want to use that amount of destruction, but it was necessary to hurry and take the island. He had no regret for ordering the strike. It showed the world truely the destructive force of Grays Hill.
