Leaders throughout countries and protectorates of the Western Hemisphere (except Menelmacar and New York/Jersey) were invited to Bardista City Convention Center, for a major international conference. Early on, only a couple of nations have sent delegates but more are expected.

At this conference, current Gulf States president Thomas Powell called on leaders within the Hemisphere to protect their guard against the world, in case major world powers seek to align themselves to invade the Americas. Powell, in doing such, restored the Ortiz Doctrine - that The Gulf States would support and defend any nation being invaded by a Eastern Hemispheric power. Of course, there has been a loophole which The Gulf States and it's major ally Flocarga and Delmarva annexed lands in Latin America and Canada.

In the Universal Nations listing of annexed Earth terrorities, Flocarga and Delmarva has been taking the claims of The Gulf States. Ambassadors from both nations have been working on a treaty to correct this problem, and get the correct territories signed over to TGS.

More news as it develops. Chances are, some major news could be announced or leaked.

California is interested to open talks in defense agreements and base sharing.
As the president of the Californian Sovereign Democratic-Socialist Federation, I feel that it is in the best interests of my nation to become involved in this.

Currently, the official listing of Western Hemispheric holdings proclaims us to be the owners of several South American nations which are held by our great allies and protectors, The Gulf States.

The combined interests between TGS and F&D include: Brazil, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Argentina, most of Canada, and New Guyana (a combined Guyana, Suriname, French Guyana).

Argentina and New Guyana will remain with Flocarga and Delmarva. With the peace accord - Venezuela, Costa Rica, our parts of Canada, and Brazil will be returned to it's rightful ownership in The Gulf States.

Our parts of Canada, being transferred to The Gulf States, include all parts of these provinces unless sold off to other nations in previous agreements (like Ellesmere I.)

Celack's proposal to give up his share of Canada, which we (F&D and The Gulf States) never recognized, should be given to The Gulf States.

We once again propose for recognition of our main home territories, states of the Former USA, comprising of: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. Currently, Menelmacari America has claim to such lands. No matter how many calls for independence we have, we're just ignored and pushed to a whatever status (OOC: much like RL Taiwan)

For giving The Gulf States their territories, we get equal exchange and use of bases throughout the world. Plus, they will pay us roughly $13.5 billion.

prehaps F&D could purchase the lands from the Gulf States

In news coming out of St. John's, Newfoundland, TGS Canada -

Labrador and it's 113 thousand plus square miles have been sold off to California and Alaska for the equivalent of $35 billion US/TGS. Also, Panama is now officially a shared co-operative between TGS and C&A.
