The Ankhmeti Imperium. Upstart offspring of the Imperium of Man, children of Terra. Bertrayers. Hounds of Chaos. To some, scum. To others, allies and brothers in battle. But that was going to change. Across the Imperium, energy was building up. Three beings of great power, three men, all heroes of the Imperium who had ascended to the level of gods were flexing their muscles. Ra, Semerkhet and Set. The three most powerful men had been gone for a moth, in a flash of light. Ra had lead his fleet into battle and promptly vanished. Semerkhet seemed to explode with light whilst meditating. Sobek simply vanished. And now they were going to do what they had begun to plan 300 years ago. They were going to use their power to do something unthinkable.They were going to annihilate the Eternal Imperium.
The full extent of the powers of the Tribunal only holds true within the Imperium, and then their full powers can only be used on the Holy World of Akronos. They had all gathered there to release a burst of energy that would strip every living thing of life, and transfer the power of every soul, every psyker and daemon, every marine and peasant, to them.

It started at Akronos.A wave of energy that ripped apart any living matter it touched. Millions died in less than ten seconds, their souls destroyed, and any power they posessed funneled to the Tribunal. It was not enough. The wave travelled to the magnificent city of Ankh, a planet-spanning temple to war, covered in factories and barracks, with the Palace of Ra as the centrepiece. Many more lives were lost there. At twenty seconds, half a billion lives were ended.
Soon the border worlds were engulfed in this wave of death and destruction. At thirty seconds, the Imperium was dead. All but three were gone, not even ghosts.

The Tribunal were complete.They became ascended beings, Gods within their Empire. And they knew how to repopulate the Imperium.
Each of them contributed a part of themself to create a new race. Semerkhet contributed his humanity, and so became a creature of shadow, but allowed the new species to have feelings and a soul. Ra gifted them with a part of his vast intelligence. Not enough to affect him, but enough to make the new species vastly intelligent. Set contributed part of his great abililty to scheme, so they would be cunning. Only Semerkhet gave them an entire aspect of himself, but the humanity of a God is vast, and so the new Ankhmeti race became greatly sensitive, and empathic. And so the repopulation began on the new Throneworld of Akronos.
