The last few months were tense ones for the people of Dacia (OOC: Romania). Their government was in shables, biker gangs controlled the streets, and looting and pillaging was common. Some of the raids had slipped into Roman-controlled Moesia (OOC: Bulgaria), so Roman Emperor Rodin Hartian decided that he had to act.

He decided to fly a diplomatic team to Bucharest to meet with the Dacian government in the hopes that order could be restored. The idea is that Dacia, already a Roman Confederacy member, could be converted (with Moesia) as a Roman Protectorate, eventually to the point where their government could run efficiently again. As one of the Roman Empire's prized possessions in the past, Hartian could not let Dacia slip away to the destructive anarchy it was heading towards.

You will be allowed to set up a consulate in Dacia once order has been restored. If you would like to help out in restoring order that would also be greatly welcomed.

A small contingent of troops will be posted in Dacia to act as peacekeepers. A battalion (600 soldiers) of light infantry will be relocated there immediately.
