Jace: so the Ion Cannon on Zeta Prime is online but its main goal was to cover the energy signle comeing from these ships?

Steven: Yes they are in away Mobile Ion Cannons but they can hold 241 fighters and 3,000 droids.

The Strike Alpha had been replaced by three far heavier vessels.

The two Agamemnon Class Heavy Cruisers Agamemnon and Aineas and the Conqueror Class Battlecruiser/Carrer Ark Royal had taken position just inside the Oort Cloud, Nadir Jump Point of the Zeta Prime System to conduct a reconnasance in force of the Neo Zeta Ion Cannon test results.

Star Admiral Asa Taney had the 92nd Goddess Wing Cluster, ninety OmniFighters to call upon, but not ground assets, and only seven DropShips to act as heavy OmniFighter support.

She watched with concern as the cloaked Neo Zeta fleet decloacked within the System.

"Command was right..." She whispers to herself.

One Jump away, she could retreat and call upon vessels of the 3rd Gaian-Kushan`athar Republic Droid-Mothership Fleet if things got hairy. She hoped that things didn't that far. Still, she wasn't fooled of the potential risks.

OOC: You mind if I post? Looks like fun.
IC: Masses of fighters swooped and curved around the silent planet, blotting out most of the lush surface. Only kilometres away lay the Neo Zeta territory known as Zeta Prime. With deliberate slowness, the planet began to heave towards the system, attracted by the energy source that was the massive ion cannon.

((OC- This Fleet is in a far better position to recieve support. There's about 45 Kushan droid vessels that one Jump away.))

IC: We sould not keeps all 8 ships in the same fleet. as of now we have 10 fleets ( 20 to 50 ships in each fleet) that are merged into 4 task forces asign 2 to each task force but keep them all in diffrent fleets.

Admiral Kite: Yes sir but dont you think there will be some kind of reaction by near by Systems about these 8 ships.

Yes i am sure there will be if there are i will meet with them persionliy.
In the mean time order fleets to step up its patrols to Level Alpha 2

As the planet moved in-system, some of the longer-ranged weaponry began to target the weapons platform as the planet slowed to a halt.

"Sensor contact.." The Ark Royal's Command Sensor-Tech suddenly alerts. Admiral Taney immediately orders.. "Give me a bearing and direction. Prepare for Level Three measures, and move us into the Oort Cloud debri field if they draw too close."

These orders automatically put the three vessel flotilla into yellow alert. Crews manned weapons stations and pilots rushed to their OmniFighters.

The three vessels also tried to angle their vessels to minimize sensor echoes.

"Bearing 190.34 by 003.98. Running a slant parallel course, off angle, but still towards us."

Admiral Taney nods. "Let's see if we're spotted."
