"Are you sure that will work, captian?" A broad man with thin glasses stared at the man in his smart military uniform with an expression of pure hatred on his face. "Attacking Tanzania will accomplish nothing, and would never hav-"
He was interrupted by the last men in the room, an officous person clad in a clean suit, one of the seventy-odd suits he had. "Yes it will. Operation Imperialistic Mind MUST go on! We MUST accomplish this!"
The broad man gave a start and signed very audibly. "Yes, My President, but that is not the only true thing. We have not had a reptuation as an imperistic country and we don't want to start now."
"But what about Sri Lanka!" the captian yelled, startling the broad men so much that he dropped his glass. "The Golencians took it over without a fight. For 500 BILLION US DOLLARS!! That is nothing, my minister, nothing. We must regain an empire, near our new captial of Nairobi, now. It is essential."
The broad man, the Minister of Defense, nodded and sat down. "Of course both of you are right. Operation Imperialistic Mind will continue, first Tanzania, then Uganda, then Rwanda, and then Burundi. We will conduer, as you said..we will. I cxan only hope that our felow nations do not see this as what it is, an imperistic attack. Indeed."

Duke Robert Kramer, Praetor of Risbanian Africa, frowned slightly as he looked over some reports. "Hmm... So, Yafor is is carving an empire. How very interesting. Jane, get me Minister Perkins."
"He's at a conference in Korea, sir," reported his secretary.
"Oh... Well, Countess Courtney then. She's in Libya right now, correct?"
"Yes, sir. I'll ask get her immediately. What am I asking for, exactly?" inquired the secretary.
"Parliament's and the Emperor's approval to send financial aid, and only financial aid, to Yafor 2," responded the Duke of Risbanian Africa.
"Yes, sir."
Imperial Statement to the Empire of Yafor 2
The Grand Imperium of Risban is willing to give you $735 million to aid for your African invasions. While we will not give any military support whatsoever, this money will most likely prove useful and we shall wire it soon.

President Steinberg carefully considered the dispatches about the moves in Africa from the Navy, the Defense Intellegence Organization, and the Department of External Affairs. He then reread the request from the North American African Petroleum Company.
Pausing slightly before picking up the handset, he nevertheless went ahead with the call.
"Klein, I want you to put out an expedition to protect our interests in Gabon. I know, it's far from the trouble in East Africa but we need to secure our oil under contract. And I want as much distance put between any big conflict across the pond and us. I don't think this should take too much. Have the Navy divert a carrier group toward Libreville"

"Sir the Yaforites are going for Africa. We're not sure as to what the Yaforites are looking for but it may later become a threat to an ally, and our African Interests." siad Stuart.
Without a word the Emperor began scribbling on a paper and later that day made a Speech.
"On this day the Yaforites prepare for an African Empire. This is one thing that cannot be permitted. A Security threat the Supreme Catholic Empire of Golencia denounces these acts. Should the Yaforites use Brutal tactics or show an hostility to Golencian Interests or Golencian Allies it will be certain war.
"We demand the people of Yafor 2 do not exceed 5 Provinces in Africa. Should at any point in time they do, they shall pay the consequences with their lives, and land. With this I leave you.
La Lotta Per Dio."
The Emperor stepped down and began preparations for war. They had to be alert at all times.
Message to Risban:
We demand no aid be sent to the Yaforites, they are hated enemies of the Supreme Catholic Empire and and such aid to them will be seen as you aiding our enemy. Please do not force us to cancel an alliance with your nation.
OOC: No hard feelings Yafor 2. i dont plan on hitting you or anything only plan on getting to the brink of war. I;ve put you through enough as it is.

OOC:Terrain of Tanzania: Savannah, with a bit of desert. There is an extensive sea coast.
OOC: Ok..
IC: The Sea ravaged violently, as waves spluttered almost irregularly across the seabed’s. Among the coastline, the desert ruled. Its vastness seemingly infinite as it concealed the many villages present across this barren land. This was considered a peaceful area, an area that lived off self-sufficiency and tribal cooperation.
However like many countries, there were always troublemakers. And in this case they were the ever-active Neo-crusader funded militia, a group that was renowned for its vicious streak.
For instance; when an U.N peacekeeper unit violated pre-agreements, its life was viciously ended. Because soon after they were ambushed by the militia and burnt alive, their body fat used for rations, and they’re bones used for jewellery.
And now that they have heard of a possible invasion of the border, a lot worse is expected.
Already the militia have begun arming themselves with Neo-crusader funded weapons. Ranging from R.P.G 7'S, C-4 explosives, claymores and many more nasty surprises.
Calling...main office, do you read me?
Yes, we do. What is it? What do you sense on your satellites?
Unknown villages along the coast. Near Zanzibar. Should be Investigated immediatly.
Indeed. A destroyer is being detachted to do the deed.
The lone destroyer piloted along the coast. Fog billow, protecting it, but also obscuring it's vision. After frequent communication, the destroyer sent a landing party of 120 men armed with M-16's to investigate. They were tigether in a group, protected by the mist. Seeing the militia, the ducked down. What they heard next chilled them to the bone...

IC: The tactic worked to a charm, and with them huddled together like they are, all they could do is pray.
Hearing noises the militia opened fire, sending several rounds at screaming velocities all around the area they believed the men were. However after hearing shouts and panic the militia realised where the men were positioned, and thus the bloodbath began.
So after locating the men through the mist, they withdrew back to sand dunes for cover, occasionally firing off a few rounds in the process. However like any war a few were caught by stray bullets, thus two were killed in the initial exchange and one more injured.
Once they reached cover they signalled to begin the next phase
======================
For the second phase, archers positioned themselves among the tips of trees, several dozens of them in total. And after being given the signal they fired the arrows at where the allied gunshots were coming from, and being expert hunters, they were unlikely to miss even in fog.
However these were no ordinary arrows, but more experimental if anything. As the arrows tip was instead tipped with blood, a blood that had been drawn from previous known victims of flu-like symptoms. On top of this they were drawn from known HIV-aids victims, a horrible mixture. And when previously tested on captured local police, they developed horrible bubonic plague like symptoms, often dieing by the turn of day.
Soon the enemy would die too.

Nevertheless the warriors swiftly scurried from tree to tree, as the proud hunters reloaded the deadly arrows, often giving the impression of shadow like figures among the mist. Backed by Ak47 cover from scout groups hiding among the various sand dunes and natural traps hidden among the vast sand plain, they were unlikely to get hit as the enemy saved their own skin.
Minutes passed as the brief skirmish began once more, thus resulting in a hail of reaper-dipped arrows enveloping the area where the enemy shots were heard.

The Navy is reporting a landing party has entered Libreville to a quiet reception. Earlier today two cruise missles were reported launched from our ships on facilities of rebel militias in the city. No casualties were reported.
Navy planes continue to dominate the air over Libreville, Port Gentil, Mayumba, and points inland as Gabonese domestic air traffic remains grounded.
A delegation of diplomatic and naval officials is said to be in preparation for a meeting with Gabonese leaders. Official spokesmen for the Department of External Affairs won't confirm or deny the reports that a treaty has been drafted to assist Gabon with internal security, and for the Kramden to assume responsibility for all foreign and defense affairs of the afflicted African nation. Reaction in the Senate has been mixed, with most majority Libertarians in favor, but most Conservatives wary of foreign involvement. Former Tennessee Governor Faun Rosenberg, one of the emerging leaders of the new Progressive Social Alliance also remarked favorably about the move.

Casualties:
3 Heavy Injuries to Foot Soldier militia
1 Archer killed
2 Minor Injuries to the foot soldiers.
Minor environmental damage to the trees and plants present.
======A while later===============
In case the enemy dared come back; claymore mines were carefully hidden among the outskirts of coastal villages loyal to the militia. Some were placed in sand bunkers, others placed under the ground; such improvised weapons would indeed surprise the imperialists. And with the continuing mist shielding their movements, even Allah was on there side.
To further scout enemy movements, search parties constantly scanned the area for the enemy, their senses obviously better by them living there for so long.
And to make things worst; improvised grenades were fixed to arrows, making a R.P.G style weapon. Car bombs and various other nasty booby traps were also prepared. This war was going to really light up the international scene

The Uganda-Kenya border
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yaforites were ready. Over 23,000 infantry and 4,00 tnaks were prepared for an invasion. Then the horn sounded.
Instantly, the barbed wire fence that seperated Kenya and Ugnada was literally ripped out of the air with the rate of fire. The ground seemed to churn and border guards, shelters, and trucks alike were blown into the air. Ugandans were running helter-skelter, trying to avoid the bullets but it was night impossible. They fell to the ground, their blood staining their home country.
The infantry then surged forward, yelling and screaming in delight. They rushed across the line, parting as tanks rumbled by. Speeding along the roads, Yaforites through themselves towards Kampala. The fall of that city would determine the fall of Uganda.
It was little resistance they faced as they headed towards the city. The Ugandans were definatly not prepared for an assault and not one of this magnitude. For ages, it seemed, the Ugandans had been fighting the rebels, and now, the birth of a new foe from nowhere shook the roots of their culture.
As the army marched through towns and villages, people came out, acclaiming them and throwing flowers at their feet. The Ugandan government was notorious for murder and soo...As the army marched, rebels flocked to their banner. Over 1,200 rebels would join them when they reach Kampala.
Then they reached Kampala. Enemy forces had gathered here, 7,000 soldiers and 750 tanks, all the forces the Ugandans could muster. Many Ugandan soldiers had deserted when the news came that the more powerful YAforites had attacked them. It was surprising that this many had joined alone.
The Ugandans fired first, killing many Yaforites. Then the Yaforites returned the fire. After 20 minutes, it was over and the Ugandans surrendered.
Losses:
Yaforite:
1,200 soldiers
340 tanks destroyed or disabled
Ugandan:
4,000 soldiers
All 750 tanks
Later, the papers were signed and Uganda joined Yafor 2. People wept for their dead ones but rejoiced to know that a dictatorial nazist regime had been thrown down and a socialist people's paradise had been established. It was a good day for Uganda.

The Nazist regime had died, but many factions of splinter cell terrorist groups had come to life and joined in creating havoc for the imperialists. The most notorious of course being the African brigade, a group linked to Neo crusaders D.P.R.K.
========NIGHTFULL, Village several miles south of the Capital==========
The day has ended and the official battle subsided. Indeed now was the war of the shadows.
Several minutes passed as the African brigade waited to strike, from a variety of positions. For years this place had been a pro-African brigade haven, but with now increased propaganda; the various villages had been led to believe that the imperialists would rape the economy. Thus because of this, the civilians were their eyes and bait, a move soon to be realised.
=====================================================
Minutes passed as night fell, the area inhibiting a strange silence. Soon this would come to an end as well
Nevertheless things kicked off as a few civilians approached the military checkpoint, being checked for weapons and the usual stuff upon arrival. After the initial exchange a 5ft rural African spoke, his tone putting on a scared outlook to win the soldiers trust.
"Sir....There is an armed gunmen in our house asleep......." He answered in spurts of his native tongue.
Seeing this the soldiers nodded and asked them to lead the way, weapons in hand.
Upon arrival they entered the hut with the civilians, obviously oblivious to the incoming ambush. Now that they were present phase two commenced.
====Elsewhere in an Underground Sand bunker=========
The several dozen of insurgents converged around the small remote controlled device, there intent obvious. To also make sure the signal was not deflected, optic fibers and various other preventive signals methods were initiated.
Now because various other insurgents discovered the enemy in an booby-trapped location, they proceeded to press the button on the remote control weapon.
=======Hut============
The claymore and C-4 combined explosives detonated, resulting in a series of explosions and shrapnel to cover the area. And despite the usual organisation of the troops, they were most likely to be thrown back by the sheer power of the weapon. An explosion that was so big, that it could most likely level a shopping mall.
Soon after debris of the demolished hut spewed everywhere, as fires raged on and bodies of various people covered in blood.
How many enemy troops dead could not be identified, but more would be known soon.
Elsewhere, random planted I.E.D in the sand exploded by exploiting insurgents, hoping to cripple the enemy as much as it good. Indeed this would be a war to remember.

President Raj Ramprasad nodded. He couldn't handle the fact that 560 Yaforite soldiers had been killed in the night! He swiveled around to the Minister of the Army, who was shaking, scared and afraid.
"What's the status?" he asked in a flat, unemotional voice. He had asked this question a hundered times before, but still asked it.

The Yaforite armies marched, through a barren country, still in the depths of a genocide that the international communtiy had never proclaimed as one. When it had happened, the international community had said no. Still they said no, even though the genocide had calmed down, it still exisisted.
As they passed, the soldiers were struck by the dead bodies lying in ditches along the path. Why were they here? Burundi would be the same. This was no business of theirs. Why did then not leave, go back to Yafor 2, leave forever.
Then messengers came to them, fourty or so. Each bore a letter, from this rebel or that rebel, as well as the Rwandan and Burundian governments. All said how each side would surrender.
It had been a bloodless victory for Yafor 2, but the only remaining rebel side, the African Brigade would spill much blood, adding bodies to the ones that already lay on the side of the road.

IC: All across the Ugandan plain ambushes were springing up, ranging from I.E.D to sniper attacks. They were indeed inflicting numerous casualties, whilst of course shielding there own by converging among the shadows and civilians. And whilst the day was not so bad, the night was where the attacks took place, especially in the rural areas of Uganda.
======Capital of Uganda=============
Insurgent Snipers watched from an apartment block, commissioned nato rifles in hand. Each Insurgent were positioned across all areas of the road, rifles pointing at the incoming exit of the Ugandan adopted government officials. They knew security was lax, thus weapons smuggling and attacks common.
Soon after the officials exited the office, escorted by several allied guards and bodyguards. Seeing the chance to strike the enemy, they pointed their rifles out of the window, the laser targeting locking on.
However because of the delay the enemy saw the laser targeting and began firing at there positions, killing one and severely wounding one instantly.
Seeing the assassination attempt over they bailed out of the window, detonating the attached claymore explosives in the process. And although they were destroyed and killed long before they touched the ground, the claymore attached weapons were also detonate by the return fire, resulting in shard upon shard of metal to spew in every direction.
They knew that many would become crippled, thus it was a good attack.
Elsewhere targeting of enemy soldiers continued with roadside bombs and small arms fire fights.

Propaganda was distributed throughout the area, ranging from word of mouth, to posters and tapes. The effort was mainly trying to appeal to the younger generation who did not witness such atrocities by the previous governments. And although slow, progress was being made by the day.
Also as part of there intimidation effort, officials were constantly being killed and pro-yaforian civilians intimidated, thus resulting in several failures of the political system.
Like days previous, I.E.D were continuously detonated throughout Uganda, prompting numerous casualties. To top it all off, many reports of plague like systems were discovered throughout the enemy's ranks. People have suggested it was the work of the Insurgency's elite archers, a force that have proved the hardest to pin down.

To further disrupt operations, numerous militia exchanged R.P.G fire with tanks and enemy divisions. Mines and I.E.D were also set up to deter advancements. Among the men present was the legend African brigade Sub-leader, Lance Kyoto.
He was a tower of a man, 6ft 6 in all. His eyes were reported to be blood red. His hair supposed to be a strange silvery colour. This man was indeed a legend, and many stories were often told about his endeavours.
The current death toll he had committed himself was 35 men and a few armoured vehicle scalpels. But more was expected as he readied himself
=====One of the many hidden areas along the border==========
The silver haired man addressed his followers in a distinct Korean tone, R.P.G 7 in hand.
"United factions of Africa...............This is our time now let us shine in the greatest hour of the brigades life......" He shouted
Soon after he was met with cheers as the men rallied behind him. This was would be a bloodbath
It was a mistake. The whole thing was a mistake. It would not be an Iraq, cut off and isolated from all civilizations. Over 1,000,000 Yaforite soldiers were comitted already, with many more coming. Pro-Yaforite civilians - the majority - were sheltered and protected. It would be a bloodbath, all right, but for the insurgency.
OC:Short post, I'm in a hurry.
