Chronosia proposes Military coalition against the Fedral Union

Chronosia

In light of aggressions that have recently begun between both The Fedral Union and the nations of Corneliu and Klington'; the Imperium wishes to implement a cohesive military coalition for swift and descive action against the Union. This plan is implemented as of now; and is open to all who wish to join. The advantages of unification shall be shared military and economic resources; the use of allied systems space and shipyards; and the proper equipment for a full and total war against the Fedral Union.

Any nation joining such a coalition would bring themselves dangerously close to war with The Okyton Empire.

Consider the threat to your nations civilian population before you agree to such a coalition.

Consider the subsequent threat that Chronosia and its material alies can bring to you. Such an action would be very risky; especially given the recent...theatrics of the Fedral Union and its provocation of countless countries. Do not see us so much as the enemy; as a purging flame; ridding the universe of its vermin and filth. The Gods have spoken...
The Emperor Fenix

The Okyton Empire directly threatens the civilian populations of any who would join such a coalition. Anyone suggesting interest in this will find themselves in danger of Tiberium mutations and sustained attacks against their homelands.

No agression towards The Fedral Union will be tolerated by The Okyton Empire.

You think we fear your tiberium? Compared to the vast horrors of the warp; a chemical compound is nothing. You endanger your own people against an enemy that will not yield to terror. For they shall be my Space Marines and they shall know no fear; and the hammer of the Emperor shall smite the heretics who oppose Chaos. We shall have our first move; before this new conflict is engendered.
The Emperor Fenix

Once the tiberium dawn floods your worlds you would truly know chaos, the horror of the warp are nothing compared to tiberiums enexorable progression. If you continue with fool hardy idea you will be left a nation of visceriods and forgotten.

Can I join in on the fun? I need a real target to use my super laser on. We join to together in this and if everything go right, our nations will understand each other better.

I would never lower myself to working along side you; Jworm. LEad your own offensive, but do not seek any form of interaction with the Imperium. Old wounds heal slowly; and we are not content that you have learned your lesson. Do not taunt us, whelp, to bring the knive to you again.

OOC: Considering he's moving out of II and into NS, I think this thread is basically null and void, as is my IC post I'm about to make, but what the hell, I wanna make this post...

Re: Civilian Targets
The Emperor Fenix, though we disagree with this coalition against the Fedral Union, we take a staunch stance against your threats towards civilians. Directly targetting civilian targets is a war crime, and an outward form of genocide. Be warned, do not target civilians directly. You have our word, if you do, you and your fellow government officials will have wished you were never born.

Good Day.

OOC: Well realistically speaking the Empire doesnt "Target" anyone, tiberium is pretty indiscriminate, and we only control the higher level mutants. Plus the Empire doesnt posses many if any military vessels, so engaging the armies of a space nation is near impossible. Thus, its best to threaten what you know you can achieve. Plus, what does a computer care of war crimes.

Ok, Marcus. I will not help you with this. I’m trying to be nice with you but you always acted nuts to me. I still can’t believe your allies have not told you to leave them alone. I was trying to be your friend.

I have learned my lesson. Not to trust Chaos.

My allies have their own reasons for trusting me, I am sure; but you and I were never allies. I believe my....craziness with you is nothing more than a deep seated revulsion; stemming from your irritating superiority complex. As for never trusting Chaos; you have learned a valuable lesson Cub; keep it well. And stay your paw when it comes to playing with thorns.

Wow.

OOC: Technically, they just have to link to the thread in NS. :p

SIC: "...And what do you think I should do, Tanthius? Negotiate? I would never associate with or recognize Xeno loving scum like the Unioners. I demand that they be purged!" The Emperor's voice came out in gasps, forming an ebb and flow to the conversation as his respirator pumped air in and CO2 out.

"No. No my brother. The Federals are misguided. They can be reeducated. We must merely place enough diplomatic pressure on both sides and the Xenos will be squeezed out of the Union like pus from an infection." Tanthius, in contrast to the Emperor, was in the prime of life. Or at least his body was. Inside his mind was far older and wiser, rivaling the Emperor himself for age and experience. But the differences between the Emperor and Tanthius were not just skin deep. The two 'men' if that is what they could be called after so long believed in doing things differently. For the Emperor, the direct approach worked best, an Imperial destroyer subjugating or cleansing worlds that resisted. Tanthius was the opposite, a shrewd manipulator who reveled in diplomacy and subterfuge.

"Why not simply support Chronosia? They think like we do. It would be simple to assist them and cleanse the Xenos with fire and force!" The Emperor was getting heated, as he always did in a debate with Tanthius. His pale and emaciated body turned a shade of red as what was left of his adrenal system pumped stimulants throughout his body. His mind raced, but he knew that Tanthius' arguments made sense.

"Because if we support Chronosia, we'll be forced to pull the fleet off of the Crusade. As you are well aware, our ships are priceless. We cannot afford to divert them to deal with trifles such as this. Further, we will be indirectly supporting the Galactic Empire, and the alien creature that leads them. Nay my lord. We must handle this diplomatically while the fleet is occupied in its most righteous mission." Tanthius' hair took on a vivid shade of mustard blonde in the light, or lack thereof in the Imperial Chambers.

"Tanthius, if you absolutely must resolve this diplomatically, then you have my leave. Of course, my patience is not endless. I have decided to sanction this subterfuge out of my respect for you. Should this situation become... distasteful, I will divert the Ravager to assist Chronosia. I am sure you are aware what it would do." The Emperor had lost, and he knew it. His last speech was only a face saving measure. Brotherhood or no Brotherhood, it was not good to grant one's subordinates concessions in things such as this.

"Very good my Emperor. I will leave immediately. May the Lord of Man smile upon us." Tanthius allowed himself a small grin as he bowed and walked out of the Emperor's chambers. "Heh, he's starting to go senile, I can tell!" he thought to himself as he walked the halls of the Imperial manor, heading to the landing pad. It was an in-joke that only a select group of beings in the universe could understand.

The landing pad was cluttered and quite busy, ships arriving, depositing sycophants and removing passengers on a thousand myriad missions. Tanthius' own mission was special however, as was the vessel that would convey him.

Tanthius' ship, a modified Archon II corvette, was completely different from the stock model. Many of its weapons removed, it was stripped for speed and in many ways represented the man who flew it. It spoke of a man who preferred to talk rather than fight, who used guile and misdirection to achieve his goals.

A cool voice, devoid of emotion greeted him when he ascended the ramp to his ship. "Welcome aboard, Master Tanthius. I've taken the liberty of warming up the Quasi-Space drives and downloading several bootleg movies from the civilian nets." It was Loque, his personal AI unit. Always looking after Tanthius' best interests. After all, Quasi-Space flights could get exceedingly boring and a displacer drive was too large to fit in his home away from home.

"Thank you. Please set course for the border of The Federal Union." Tanthius replied, settling into his comfortable chair near the front of the ship, giving him a wondrous view of the glittering blue jewel he had sworn to protect and cherish. “I hope I can stop this war before it spreads to Earth.” Tanthius thought privately to himself, away from the link to the others.

OOC: well; you're the one bringing the wrath of people upon you, at war with Klington; at odds with Corneliu (a potential ally, might I remind you. This is an arrangement in the event of war, for mutual security; now if you can't stand when people ally against you; (which frequently happens to many nations militarily and diplomatically, then maybe you should move somewhere for some kind of less stressful RP. Ditch the mightier than thou attitude and the space Empire and settle down as a trading power, with little to no military. I'm sick of you whining, when you sit on MSN and gloat about how you could take on the whole GE, but heaven forbid that ANYONE should unite against you. Honestly; you make me sick with your whining!

OOC: Just for note, Tanthius is going to make contact with both governments and *try* to stop the war before it starts to escalate. Using his influence to try and get all involved to exile or expunge their aliens is only a secondary goal. He's not nearly as Xenophobic as the Emperor is. :)

OOC: I'm tempted to leave a link.

Anyway, Fedral Union, what nobody seems to realize is the fact we need some wars tahta re nation vs. nation, not nations vs. nation. But Chronosia is a friend, so I'm afraid I can't do that this time.

OOC: Please note; if this thread continues, this coalition is not simply for relieving boredom; it is due to legitimate greivances for TFU's recent actions. We are not uniting to attack; but in the interest of protecting ourselves if hostilities escalate. Its not a case of ganging up on TFU; but more uniting everyone who has been involved in the recent events...As shown by others such as Fenix; some are taking differing sides :)
