British Empire Invades Soviet Union

His Majesty King George in a BBC broadcast to the nation.

"In this grave hour, perhaps the most fateful in our history, I send to every household of my peoples, both at home and overseas, this message, spoken as I were able to cross your threshold and speak to you myself.
For the second time in the lives of most of us we are at war. Over and over again we have tried to find a peaceful way out of the differences between ourselves and those who are now our enemies. But it has been in vain. We have been forced into a conflict. For we are called, with our allies, to meet the challenge of a principle which, if it were to prevail, would be fatal to any civilised order in the world.
It is the principle which permits a state, in the selfish pursuit of power, to disregard its treaties and its solemn pledges; which sanctions the use of force, or threat of force, against the sovereignty and independence of other states.
Such a principle, stripped of all its disguise, is surely the mere primitive doctrine that might is right; and if this principle were established throughout the world, the freedom of our own country and of the whole of the British Commonwealth of Nations would be in danger. But far more than this - the peoples of the world would be kept in the bondage of fear, and all hopes of settled peace and of security of justice and liberty among nations would be ended.
This is the ultimate issue which confronts us. For the sake of all that we ourselves hold dear, and of the world order and peace, it is unthinkable that we should refuse to meet the challenge.
It is to this high purpose that I now call my people at home and my peoples across the seas, who will make our cause their own. I ask them to stand calm, firm and united in this time of trial. The task will be hard. There may be dark days ahead, and war can no longer be confined to the battlefield. But we can only do the right as we see the right, and reverently commit our cause to God. If one and all we keep resolutely faithful to it, ready for whatever service or sacrifice it may demand, then, with God's help, we shall prevail. May He bless us and keep us all."

Eastern Front

The rain brushed gently against the car windows, while General Ferlan thought about the situation, as he gazed, troops, tanks, men and supplies passed by him, all for the eventual counter attack. Two years ago Russia had hampered British efforts to invade and annex Kazakhstan, now with 5/8's of the communist military at the Western front, preparing to invade Germany the British Empire would take advantage of the situation.

Always one for fighting battles that victory was almost assured in, His Majesty King George would never allow a Pacific front unless the circumstances were favourable, and from the grace of God they were.

After the annexation of China and the liberation of Japan The British Military began to devise a four pronged offensive aimed at crippling the Russian military presence in the East. The main port Vladivostock, is the only Russian military base that can mount a credible defence and offence towards the British supply routes. As a result bomber command will be charged with destroying or taking the port intact over the period of one night. Continuos air raids will be launched from Sapporo and Hegang, while the Royal Navy escorts fifty transport vessels to secure the harbour in support of a land invasion from the China border. Once Vladivostock is secured, the military is to move North and take all lightly Garrisoned Russian cities, towns and villages.

Simultaneously an offensive will be launched from Mongolia, North East and North West of Ulaanbaatar with the objectives of taking Chita and Irkutsk, while regiments move out from Karakorum to hit Novosibirsk.

As the bulk of the Russian forces have remained within Kazakhstann, and with no information pointing to the contrary the British defensive line will remain on the Shan highlands to help deter any counter offensive.

In a final bid to crush Russian opposition the British army will use their superior numbers in the East to begin a campaign of mass mobilisation. Chinese forces will be used as mobile infantry divisions, and will pass through the Kazakhstan highlands and begin attacking Russian supply trains and sever railway lines to assist in the prevention of Russian manoeuvrability. Meanwhile an invasion from the China, Mongolia and Kazakhstan border cross will spearhead into Russian territory and make an attack upon Barnaul.

Due to the overwhelming British presence in Asia, the Philippine islands will continue to remain on a state of high alert, due to their minimal state of defences. Chinese civilians will mount coastal watches. Due to the impossibility of defending the entire Chinese coast, the army has organised several mobile defence units. These combined forces of the Air Force, Infantry and Navy will react accordingly to enemy troop movements.

After going over the plan in his head General Ferlan opened the car door, while his chinese servant opening a large umbrella. "Thank you Ma ling." The General added courteously. Heading towards the command tent that hand been in place for two years now Ferlan was not a fool, the russians surely knew of its location by now, but he was confident that the chain of command had not been breached. Entering the tent, which was more the size of a palace Ferlan looked about knowingly. "Pack up everyone, we hit code red in fifteen hours. Command and control will be moved to the alpha site. You have one hour."

Russia China Border

British forces had for the most part remained inactive until the very last possible moment. Supplies and men had been building up but apart form that, all other preparations had been shortfalled. At 1700 hours on July the Seventeenth The British Empire invaded the Soviet Union.

From airfields all over china, aircraft scrambled into the air, pilots prepared for death while infantrymen saluted their King, knowing that their cause was just.

Though the Empire was not Catholic the idea that Russia would begin the slaughter of all religious leaders only served to strengthen the resolve of the brave men and woman fighting for freedom.

Captain Herfield was enjoying himself, not since the Gulf war had such a force been assembled. All over Asia armed units were preparing to make their attacks. With the Russian border poorly guarded they would find that their back door was about to be kicked in. The overall estimate was approximately fifteen million men preparing to invade, over half of the Empires current army rooster, but most were Chinese nationals that still have a quarrel with Russia. As sunset came the borders erupted into flames of war.....

The massive mobilisation to the East didn't go unnoticed. On screens throughout the MAFCCP, analysts studied satellite photographs and radar print outs, identifying units preparing for a war against Russian Forces. Before the first troop could cross the border, an encrypted message was sent to the commander of the EB-2C squadron recently deployed to western Russia. They had barely had time to refuel and rest before the orders came through.

Twenty-four of the ultra-stealthy bombers were to take off immediately, and head east with a payload of FAE cruise missiles, ready to decimate any infantry and light armoured forces later identified. With a combined total of 432 Wolverine-F missiles, they could cover an area twice the size of Greater London in one huge fireball. Or, in this case, turn the first wave of an invasion into an absolute deadly inferno.

The bombers would be on station in two and a half hours, and would be virtually undetectable by any British SAM systems nearby. With the effective RCS of a small bird with their Athena active stealth engaged, and vastly reduced thermal signatures compared to the already stealthy B-2 bomber, the EB-2s would wreak havoc before they could even be detected.

From Assistant chairman Yuri Volkovnik

Citizens of russia! The Soviet Government and its head, Comrade Vladimir Zhirinovsky, have instructed me to make the following announcement:

Today, without presenting any claims against the Soviet Union or issuing a declaration of war, British troops have attacked our country, assaulting our borders in many places and attacking our cities of Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Ulan-Ude, Nerchinsk, and other of our towns to bombing by their aircraft. Air raids by enemy planes and artillery bombardment were also made from bases in china and Mongolia.

This perfidious aggression against our country is a treachery without precedent in the history of civilized nations. The full responsibility for this robber attack on the Soviet Union falls entirely on the British fascist rulers.

I replied on behalf of the Soviet Government that up to the last minute the British Government had not submitted any claims against the Soviet Government, that Bob-Bob had attacked the U.S.S.R. in spite of the peaceful posture of the Soviet Union, and that therefore fascist Britain indisputably is the aggressor in this affair. Now, however, that the attack against the Soviet Union has already taken place, the Soviet Government has issued an order to our troops to repulse the robber attack and to drive the British troops from our Motherland.

This war has not been imposed on us by the British people, nor by the British workers, peasants, or intellectuals whose suffering we can well understand, but by the clique of bloodthirsty British leaders who have enslaved the Chinese, the Mongolians, the Phillipines, and other nations.

The Government of the Soviet Union expresses its unshakable conviction that our valiant Army and Navy and the daring hawks of the Soviet Air Force will discharge with honor their duties towards the Motherland and the Soviet people and will deal a crushing blow to the aggressor. This is not the first time that our nation has had to deal with an arrogant, aggressive enemy. In its time our nation has risen to the challenge of Napoleon's campaign into Russian in the Patriotic War, and Napoleon suffered defeat and came to his undoing. The same fate will befall the arrogant British, who has proclaimed a new campaign of aggression against our country. The Red Army and our entire nation will once again conduct a victorious Patriotic War for the Motherland, for honor, for freedom.

The Government of the Soviet Union expresses its firm conviction that the entire population of our country, the workers, the peasants and the intelligentsia, every individual man and woman, will regard their obligations and their work with full awareness. The whole country must now be joined and united as never before. Each one of us must demand from himself or herself and from each other the discipline, the organization, and the selflessness worthy of a real Soviet patriot in order to supply the Red Army, the Red Fleet, and the Air Force with the means necessary to assure victory over the enemy.

The Government appeals to you, citizens of the Soviet Union, to rally your ranks ever closer around our glorious Bolshevik Party and our Soviet Government.

Our cause is just. The enemy will be defeated. Victory will be ours. We shall Bury them!

THE ASIAN FRONT:

The Generals knew this would happen, but believe that Bob-bob forces will be halted at a heavy price. Generals in the Kremlin quickly make their way to the war room to discuss plans. Russian Gorund forces will focus on delaying the bob-bob advance as well as make an effective counter strike. What Russian forces is also worried about is Guffingford taking advantage of the situation as well.

The Red Army has been issued operation scorch earth to not surrender any town or small city without destroying it, to make supply routes into russia much harder for the advancing forces of the British. the 3/8 of the russian military is already positioned in asia and will be ready to respond to the Bob-bob threat. Reserves from all over russia are being sent to the asian front to pause their advance when possible. Due to a high concentration of forces in kazakhstan, Russian forces are ordered to flank the advancing army from that position. With a high concentration of tanks and armoured forces, the russian army group is ordered to assualt Tacheng, Karamay and Yining and to continue advancing to mongolia to cut off the bob-bob forces in the region.

As for the attacks from china and mongolia, The Russian Border forces were not caught by surprise, but nevertheless, they were facing overwhelming numbers. They of course were ordered to retreat and destroy all towns that are left behind. They are ordered to defend the cities along the borders until they can be reinforced by the Reserves. Mostly motorized troops and small groups of armour are defending in these regions which makes them vulnerable. However the Soviets advanced umbrella network of Surface to Air missile systems (S-300, SA-20's, SA-19's, SA-18's) are ready to defend the ground forces and and surrounding cities. The airforce of 3000 in Asia is also on the hard task of trying to keep the skies under russian control. Hopefully the combined might of the SAM systems and airforce can help the Red Army Breath a little from air raids. Of course, cities have been devastated as civilians rush to Undergrounds shelters and bunkers. Vladivostok is suffering severly and its naval ports have been bombed. Luckily the pacific fleet was already in the sea but still some submarines were lost at the ports. A force of 500,000 in Vladivostok are ordered to hold the city at all costs And it will be resupplied by aircraft from the Russian Kuril islands and mainland.

Already it is believed that thousands of civilians and soldiers have been killed. However civilians loyal to the communist regime have been taking up arms to defend the towns and cities as well as lurk into the forests and moutains to mount ambushes on the advancing british forces. Submarines are now tasked to attack ships that might be attacking the vladivostok harbour.

Already it is estimated that 10,000 Russian soldiers have been killed and 50,000 Civilians are dead from bombings.

Command Post 1st Army Group, Near Moscow

The CP had been in a flurry of activity since first rumours of a British attack had come through. Although confirmation hadnt come yet, plans were being made for eventualities, including turning 1st Army Group to head to Southern Siberia.

" General Sir. The Kremlin just confirmed that Bob-bob attacked Siberia. The Russians have assets in theatre, they should be able to stop the attack, but throwing it back will be something else entirely."

"Dammit. I need to talk to the Kremlin. Get me a helicopter here and tell them Im coming"

The Operations officer picked up a phone and quickly made the necessary arrangements. In the distance rotorblades could be heard approaching the command post. General McKnight continued.

" Jack make sure that we have some AirForce assets ready to move. Call up Neito and ask them for a B-6 strike in accordance with plan bravo. "

He turned to the Air Force General standing who had just walked into the CP.

"Howard, what can we get there quickly?"

"Sir, we have a mission plan for this eventuallity. We can have a squadron of B-2's up around Murmansk within the hour. From there mission time is four hours to their targets."

General McKnight knew what there targets would be. Darkness was just beginning to come to Europe, it would already be getting that way in Siberia, and the stealths only flew at night.

"I have to make a call before we can carry out the strike. Have your bombers get going now. Also put another squadron onto holding pattern, incase Guffingford uses this to launch an offensive as well."

The AirForce General lifted a tactical satellite phone and began issuing orders, whilst McKnight reached across his small desk for the red phone and the direct line to the President.

Monk Air Force Base, Northern Russia, 25miles South of Murmansk

The weather was cold, as usual. As darkness fell on the base, lights came on in hangars, as the giant doors slowly opened.

Twelve Stealth bombers of the 9th Bomber Squadron emerged and quickly taxiied to the end of the runways. In each bomb bay were 8 GBU-31S GPS guided bombs which already had target data in their computers.

With delays of fifty seconds the bombers lifted off and all angled NorthWest.

They passed the small town of Port Vladimir as they finished their climb to 40,000 feet and they turned West, passing along the coast of Norway.

In the cockpits the auto-pilots did most of the work, bringing the planes along pre-planned routes and following weigh points that kept them just in International Air Space.

Two and a half hours later they had clearned the Western Coast of Norway and were over the North Sea, their flight paths splitting slightly as they each went to different targets.

In the lead bomber, the pilot saw the radar emissions of numerous ground stations begin to appear on his detector and shared a look with his co-pilot. It didnt appear that there were any airbourne radar aircraft up, but there had to be fighters out there.

Other aircraft were heading for targets throughout the UK, one at GCHQ at Cheltenham, one at Stornoway in Scotland, two each to Newcastle docks and Edinburgh, one to Aberdeen docks, another one to both Manchester and Liverpool docks. The final two aircraft to the royal residence at Balmorral.

The flight leaders was heading for SouthHampton dock yards, and the massive dry docks and other port facilities.

BEEEEEP

Fleet Marshall Marika King groaned awake as the persistent tone sounded again. Her forehead was bright red from the pressure from the top of her desk. Cursing at herself for falling asleep at the office again, she looked blearily around for the source of the annoying beeping noise. Her eyes rested on the SSIN console just as the red light flashed in synchrony with the tone.

Suddenly wide awake, King keyed the circuit live. "Fleet Marshall King."

"Marshall, FLASH traffic incoming. TRINITY TWO."

Shaking her head, the Marshall replied, "TRINITY TWO, aye. ALERT 5. Set Condition HOPE."

"ALERT 5, aye. Set Condition HOPE, aye. The Warlord is on circuit two, and the FLASH message is already in your SSIN."

Marika King didn't bother trying to clean herself up before keying up circuit two. "Marshall King reporting, sir."

The Warlord showed no sign of fatigue, and King wondered briefly if the man ever slept. "Marshall, I want the entire Pacific on alert. The British Empire just attacked Russian Forces."

King was shocked, but managed to restrain her response to a simple, "Oh, bloody Hell."

The Warlord nodded. "At the very least. So far, we're not involved, but there's going to be a lot of ordnance flying about in our neighborhood, and I want to be ready if it spills over onto us. I want everything that flies ready to launch and everything that floats ready to put to sea, and I want it yesterday. I've already ordered Mikalgard Kosmodrome to put the next three series of comsats on an accelerated insertion schedule, and Mikoyan will be doing some EVAs to refuel a few of our older surveillance birds as well."

The Marshall's fingers flew as she called up the relevant data. She asked, "Sir, what about the UWP?"

"That's a different problem. The UWP may take a stand, or it may not. Regardless, the Dominion will be ready. Any questions?"

"Not right now, sir. I'll have WESTPAC dispositions on your SSIN in two hours."

"No later, Marshall." The Warlord's image vanished.

500 Miles east of the Kamchatka Penisula

The four Imperial battlefleets sat waiting off the Siberian Penisula as the ASW boats and choppers finished establishing the sonar buoy grid around the fleet. The fleet assembled had nearly 600 fighting ships and over 400 transport and supply ships(full numbers below). Three Hundred and Twenty fighters are flying CAP above the fleet(a 50/50 mix between Vampire Air Supramcy fighter and Tiger Shark Multi Role.) Over the fleet flies 6 Pelican Strike Platform aircraft from Belem(about 1500 miles away from the fleet.) The Pelican was a massive aircraft that in the transport version is capable of carrying a Boeing 747 minus the wings, the Strike Platform was capable of carrying over a thousand anti air or anti ground missiles as well as a highly advanced radar system.

The Intrepid Flagship transmitted the Five Minute Warning to the Armada and the ships went to general quarters and tapped into the Belem Defense Grid(linked radar system each ship and aircraft uses its own radar frequencies then taps into a linked radar so even if its radar is jammed or knocked out of action the ship will still be recieving radar data from the fleet.)

Carriers prepare to launch an additional 200 fighters for air cover as the missile ships prepare for the initial assault. The clock ticks down to zero as the five minute warning passes and the first volley of 2,000 Tomahawks(ooc note: My tomahawks use silicone composite explosives they are about 4x more powerful the conventional explosives) are launched at Russian Forces positions. As the missiles are launched the fleet goes on high alert extending the CAP radius to over 200 miles using a combination of radar/anti stealth detection systems and satelites they scan for any incoming surface or air contacts.

Targets for the tomahawks:
500- RF early warning systems and air defense systems on the Penisula and around Petropavlosk Kamchastkly
250- Against RF Airbases.
250- Targetted against Important Infrastructure i.e. powerplants, Dams, Radio and Televisions stations, water purification plants, sewage plants.
500- Targeted against Russian Military forces in the region.
250- Targeted against C3I(command control communications and inteligence) and governmental facilites as well as hospitals.
150- Targeted against key rail and road junctions as well as bridges leading into the Penisula and the city.
100- Are directed indiscriminately into the city 50 are directed towards the largest industrial section and 50 are directed against the more heavily concentrated residential area.

Secondary Attack: Eight Vampire fighters are launched from the fleet each carrying a single sat killer missile. They reach maximum ceiling and launch the 8 missiles towards soviet Recon Satelites on overfly in the region.

-----------
As the missiles pass the half way mark and are only 10-20 minutes(1-3 minutes for the sat killers) to target the Imperial Government releases the following statement:

"Due to hostile soviet posturing and undue aggression to the allies of the Imperial Empire it is thrust upon us to defend our allies in this war against the Heretics. As of now a state of war exists between the Holy Imperial Empire of Belem the Soviet Union. We will not rest until our enemy is destroyed and vanquish for we fight for the Empire and Mother Church."

Though the statement is released pubilicaly it is not directly sent to RF and only sent live on various news agencies.

-------------

OOC info on the fleet:

Each fleet has(total of 4 fleets):
4 Intrepid Class Carriers
4 Fiery Avenger Missile ships
4 Tracker ASW ship
4 Shield AA ships
20 Romulus Battleships
30 Tribune Battlecruisers
40 Vesuvious Frigates
60 Centurion Heavy Destroyers
20 Velite Attack Submarines(using caterpillar drives to remain unseen at about a 50 mile perimeter around the fleet. they also have pitted rubber hulls to help absorb active sonar)

There are 5 Submarine wolfpacks each with 10 Lupine Fast Attack Submarines using the same defense systems as the velite(the lupines are basically the same thing just smaller and faster.)

100 Troop Transports
As well as about 300 Supply and Logisitical ships, these are in the center of the combined fleet mass and are the most defended with the carriers.

On the transports there are 4 Mountain Divisions prepared to do landings on the penisula as well as support troops for later landings once a beach head is established. The exact numbers are coming soon.

Soviet Pacific Fleet Detail

2 aircraft carriers
15 ballistic missile subs
30 nuclear subs
50 conventional subs
20 Cruisers
30 destroyers
30 frigates
100 corvettes

The Red Army is even more hard pressed as they discover that naval and airforces of the empire of belem are involved in the offensive in Eastern RF. Russian radars managed to detect incoming missiles coming from the seas of Russia. Hundreds of anti missiles, missiles were fired at them, however though destroying plenty before impact, they were unable to stop most of them. Many of their intended targets were hit and Russian forces have been somewhat crippled in radar, mobility and command abilities as well as airbases that are close to the fighting have been damaged too, but the fighting strength has not been weakened due to the high numbers of these systems. A couple Soviet sattelites were also knocked down but at the same time, The sattelites locked missiles upon enemy aircraft and fired. (The ones which are capable of doing this have nuclear missiles in them as well.)

There is still a large amount of russian aircraft in the fight and 120 Mig-29's, 220 Su-27's, 140 Su-37's have been dispatched to intercept belems fighters To ensure that Russia still has control of its own skies. At the same time, Russian Sam system support the russian fighters. Submarines have detchaed from the fleets to pursue the enemy fleets. Some have surfaced and fired 30 P-35 Cruise missiles at one of the enemy fleets, aiming for the aircraft carriers, Destroyers and frigates. At the same time the 2 aircraft carriers of the pacific fleet dispatch all of their fighters to intercept the enemy fleets and destroy any intercepting aircraft. ( 30 Su-33's, 40 Mig-29K's, 'half' armed with KSR-5 AS-6 kingfish cruise missiles)

While the airforces and submarines were busy, small boats and even fishing boats place mines in the Bering sea and the sea of Okhotsk to hinder the enemy fleets. Ka-25 helicopters are sent to scout the waters for the enemy fleets to lets the pacific fleet know where to fire their missiles barrages next. At the same time, border forces in Soviet islands and such are ordered to be on alert incase of amphibious attack. The russian government also condemsn belem for destroying hospitals that contain soldiers as well as civilians.

1st Army Group Command Post, East of Moscow

"General Sir, movement orders. Russian trains are waiting at stations from here to here for us Sir."

"Excellent Colonel. Have the units got their orders?"

"Yes Sir, as you instructed they were the first informed. 3rd Armoured Cavalry Regiment is moving already, they are ten minutes from their assigned station."

"Total time to move the Army Group?"

"We estimate eight days for all combat assets, plus five for the end of the supply chain."

"Roger. Whats the status on support?"

"Air Force has begun flying tactical fighters and fighter-bombers out plus AWACs and that kind of stuff. Strategic are needed here at the moment. More are being flown up from IH as we speak. Plus we already had some TR-1's out with the Russians incase something like this happened"

"Excellent. Darkstar coverage?"

"They are being flown out now Sir."

"Good, good. This should so them Brits that they can't mess with us without a fight."

IHS Isomer, Flagship of the 9th (Pacific) Fleet. Currently 800 miles South of Sri Lanka

Fleet Admiral Chris Patterson was sitting in the CIC of the carrier, currently heading East at a fleet speed of 25knots. Orders had been recieved to head immeadiately East, obviously to try and counter the sea advantage currently held by the Axis in that area.

The Fleet was headed for the Straight of Malacca and would reach it sometime tomorrow, passing through during the night.

Aircraft from all of the seven carriers in the group were up and operating, either finishing training or as part of the BARCAP patrol. The roar of jet engines on the flightdeck announced that more aircraft were going up to join them as the threat slowly increased. A pair of AEGIS cruisers were up on that thread-axis now, just behind the forward ASW screen that was blasting the water with active sonar whilst carrier-bourne S-3B Vikings dropped passive sonar buoys further infront.

All ships in the fleet had their systems fully energized, but not on, the best to not give away their position too early. They were relying on the E-2CI's that were placed deceptively near the carrier's so as to give a slightly incorrect view of where they were.

ooc: isnt the kingfish bomber launch only?

IC:
Attack against the fighters:The eight fighters deployed to launch the Satkiller missiles are knocked out of the sky by the satelites missiles due to there vulnerablity in sat attack mode and the missiles payloads.

Attack against the fleet: As the fleet detects the incoming high flying missiles fleet defenses swing into action. Hotshot laser defense systems are the first to begin tracking and projecting broadbeam lasers across the incoming contacts, as the remaining missiles approach Steel Wall CIWS guns open fire swatting missiles from the sky. Seven of the P-35s make it past fleet defense and hit perimeter frigates and destroyers. 2 Destroyers are hit by two missiles apiece crippling them. One frigate is hit by one missile and is heavily damaged. Another frigate is hit by 2 missiles, having its powderkeg pierced the ship promptly explodes and sinks.

Counter Operations: The submarine defense screen is being extended to 100 miles with Lupine and Velite submarines actively looking for enemy contacts. The fleet using over 40 Helicopters extends the ASW patrols out to 150-200 miles to neutralize the threat of submarine launched missiles.

First air battle: 180 of the airborne fighters and 2 Pelicans head to meet the largest soviet airborne threat. The fighters hold their 200 mile perimeter around the fleet. The Pelicans are loaded with Scorpion ER(extended range) AA missiles(scorpion missiles are basically improved phoenix they have longer range about 170-180 miles since the warhead is smaller its only 25 pounds silicone composite but thats equal to 100 pounds of conventional. The ER version is longer and extends the range to 230-250.)

As the Soviet Fighters approach 215 miles between them and the Imperial fighters the Pelicans each begin launching 400 Scorpions apiece(total 800) at the soviet fighters over a cost of 10-15 minutes.(ooc: The Pelican can hold about 2400 missiles. They are bigger then a 747.) As the Pelicans launch their deadly payload the fighters maintain their range from the soviet fighters waiting for them to enter the 170 mile sweetspot for the standard scorpion missile.

Second Air Combat engagement: 80 Fighters head to intercept the second air group also supported by 2 of the Pelicans on station. Using the same principles of attack of hold at the 200 mile fleet defense line. Since the Imperials in this engagement have numerical superiority they wait for the Russian fighters to enter 200 miles away from the flight before begining launches. Each of the Pelicans lets loose with 125 missiles apiece at the incoming force.

The fleet: Calculating the projectory of the fleet fighters, the air operators begin coordinating for a naval and air counter attack against the RF fleet and begins outfitting F-42 tiger sharks with Javeling AS missiles.

The second Missile attack against RF ground forces comenced with an additional 100 tomahawks launched from the fleet.

25 are directed against remaining powerstations on the penisula and the rest are targetted at key supply areas and road, rail and bridges located in the narrowest point of the Penisula(where it narrows out to only about 20 miles.)

Public Declaration to Bob-Bob, Russian Forces, and Others Involved

Euroslavia, as the representative of the Union of World Powers, must declare its concerns for the current conflict. One of the most important goals of our organization is to ensure that free trade and the rights of neutral shipping within the area of conflict will not be infringed upon, or interfered with in any way. We must ask of each side that they declare that such events will not happen, and that free trade will continue on, unharmed. For insurance purposes, the deployment of a neutral Union task force into the area of conflict is possible, however, we do not wish to be involved in such a conflict on either side, for now.
Russian Forces

With the Soviet sattelite system still operable after being able to defend itself from the very high fighters, Russian forces were still able to pinpoint the attacks from Bob-Bob and Belem. Belems missiles were found heading towards their targets and was able to give an early warning to the air defences in the regions. As missiles head toward their targets, Sam system send their missiles towards the tomahawks. Not only that but all sorts of anti air guns were firing at them, making the sky filled with flying bullets and explosions. Several tomahawks still passed through, hitting 2 ammunition depots and a 1 fuel depot, making huge explosions and killings hundreds.

The Soviet admiral of the pacific fleet in his command deck watches the outcome of the fighter attack on the fleets. While watching, he sees an incredible amount of aircraft intercepting the massive attack group. Initiating their jammers, the attack planes begin to fly close to the sea to avoid radar detection. Knowing that the missiles are headed their way Nearby and hidden coastal radar jammers assist the fighters. Most of the missiles fly over them and around but some went straight for their targets, taking out 1/3 of the aircraft. The admiral told the pilots to press on the attack. While the ones armed with anti ships missiles pursued the ships, The Fighters armed to protect them, turn off their radar jammers to distract the enemy fighters. Though outnumbered the 20 fighters charged at the enemy aircraft, dog fighting as long as they can, knowing they will all be wiped out. As the dog fighting took place, The remaining fighters with cruise missiles released their firepower and quickly tried to head back to their aircraft carriers.

The admiral is aware that after this assualt, the fleet will be attacked and ordered all ships to relocate from their position and ordered for the assistance of airforces at airfields if attacked. The admiral knows that though many enemy ships would be destroyed if they faced the Belem navy head on, it will not be worth the cost of the entire pacific fleet and belem would have total control of the Russian sea's in asia. The Soviet Submarines didn't achieve their intended result, so a wolf pack of 15 akula submarines make their way to the fleets and try to avoid enemy submarines and make contact with enemy ships, preferably enemy aircraft carriers.

In the interest of protecting neutral shipping, His Omniferocity has authorized the Department of Agression to patrol Sea Lines of Communication near the war zone.

Elements of EOE Naval units will escort neutral shipping which request it through potential combat areas free of charge. Aircraft from the warring parties are warned to remain 120 kilometers distant from these units while they are in international waters. Armed aircraft approaching within that limit will be warned once to maintain their distance, and will then be treated as hostile. Escort ships and neutral shipping transiting national waters through normal trade routes may of course be visually inspected by overflying aircraft. For safety reasons, it is advisable that overflying aircraft announce their intentions via radio before commencing the overflight.

The following units have been dispatched to the following areas in support of His Omniferocity's decision:

Task Force Ryuku (8th Interdiction Squadron, 6th Maritime Patrol Group)
Patrol area- waters around southern Japan, Korea Strait, and south to the Phillippine Sea

Task Force Emperor (31st Interdiction Squadron, 21st Maritime Patrol Group)
Patrol area- Pacific east of Kuril islands and Kamchatka south to waters east of Sendai, Japan.

Task Force Gomez (10th Maritime Patrol Group, 16th Interdiction Squadron)
Patrol area- Phillipine Sea south to New Guinea

Any attack on EOE shipping in or out of international waters will be considered an act of war by the Dominion.

The Dominion is not involved in this conlict, nor does it wish to be. However, His Omniferocity's previously-published Rules of Engagement for neutral shipping will be enforced.

OOC: Inability to RP? Some of us have work to do outside NS, and I'm stil waiting for Bob-Bob to post in this thread and tell me what targets I can strike at. I'm waiting for ANY response in the other thread so that I can start the war in Europe. If you don't like waiting, that's fine, but don't come up with some unfounded and overall poor excuse.

OOC: RF what are you on about mate?? We didnt have troops in this theatre to start off with, and we cannot suddenly have them appear there without them making at least a couple more IC posts! Geez man, next time you think there isnt much action please talk to us privately about it before just blasting it all over here.
Im the same with Mc, although im at school its still the same principle and work HAS to take precedence over this. Saying that however I have checked these forums at least three times in the past day and a bit, and there has been nothing for me to respond to!
If you want different allies fine, im not gonna put time and effort into an RP where even my supposed ally doesnt want me.

OOC: I can't continue the war until Guffingford gets back online. Russian Forces you will have to understand that transporting millions of men is going to take at least several weeks for Mcleod and IH to do. They then have the fact that Russia is not very accessible to them at the moment, with overwhelming Axis forces in the East and with the English channel in the West. They are attempting to counter this by gaining a land base in Ireland, but untill Guff gets back online I can't rp my defences effectively since our navies will be launching cordinated defence, and offence.
