IC: Today, a large amount of NATO-related Chellian documents were released today. While only available to certain allied governments whom it matters too(Old NATO nations), the papers incriminate Chellis in a trechorous scandal.

OOC: Well, I found some logs, and started feeling guilty. Knights of Malta is CM/DA/VE, and Raslin is me. I wasn't the primary mole, and didn't give him much stuff, but what I did give him was harmful to nato, and I apologize.

This is great information, it shows NATO's faults when it had the chance to fix them NATO ignored its faults and as such is in its Decaying form today. If NATO is still alive, I hope they have a strong leader that has the power to do a lot of Reforms in the alliance. As it badly needs it.

Alright people, this is a brief statement coming from an active member of NATO. I have not verified this with NATO as I feel that is important to insert something here before this blows into something that it really isn't.

First of all, we have known that Chellis was the mole for some time. Ever since, it happens, DAVE told us. This may be news to the wider community, but it is not to us.

More importantly, NATO is most certainly not dead. It is not even sick. It is alive, and watch out because one of it's kicks might be headed in your direction. The corruption of the former Congregressional Board is recognised, indeed it has been dismantled and replaced by a democratic body that acts as both the executive and the legislature. AMF is the current leader, duly elected by the member base of NATO. Any suggestions that NATO is falling apart is slander based upon lies and misinformation. Draw from this revelation what you will, but remember these comments before drawing any conclusion.

Again, the above is a personal statement that does not nessercerily reflect the views of the NATO alliance.

Like mentioned already, the NATO member base has known about this for quite a long time. Saying NATO is dead is just... wrong... on so many levels. Reforms and wise leadership have made NATO as strong and active as ever. These mischievous pranks have actually brought us together, thus undermining the intent of our opponents.

Also, schultaria, irregardless of what was decided, the Congressional board had the power to kick members by a 4/5ths vote, AMF had even approved that amendment to the constitution. That was one of the main reasons I left the alliance.

No? As I remember, a few NATO members left because of ideological differences. The RWC refused to support it's members and had a major bitchout at it's head. Then there are rumours of other occurances but....well. I will not endanger my sources.

To be quite honest, i've never really heard about NATO, i've never seen an official thread, so i bassically don't worry about it, that they had a mole isn't that amazing, as far as im concerned i could make an alliance and all of the nations could be against me.

Also, could someone explain what the RWC-NATO thing is about? I quite like some of the nations who are/were in RWC, although not so much their part on the alliance as what they have done(sometimes) acting as a better nation.

Anyway, if someone could help me out with an official nato and RWC thread that would be great, i just don't know any basic facts about them and what they are for, not even what NATO(unless the same as in RL) stands for!

NATO is a very strong alliance based upon the principles of common defence and ensuring the survival of member nations. For some, the major attraction of NATO is being in the same alliance as AMF. Love him or hate him, he's in there. Other than that there are many excellent rp'rs in NATO, and I won't make a list because I know I'll miss someone off and they'll castrate me. NATO has had many official threads, amongst them two recruitment threads (both had hundreds of replies) and the ultimatum to DAVE (then CM). However since the whole buissiness with the mole(s), we have ceased reactive recruiting and are now doing so solely on an invite only basis.

OOC: I see, i don't mind the ideas behind it, but i just don't trust the alliance, AMF is big, i've heard loads about him, but never got into any RPs with him, its out of my league really, there seems to me to be several sects of RPers, the very best, here from a long time ago(MAF comes to mind), the respected good RPers, who you hear and may RP a bit with now and then, as allies to a different nation or fighting together against another nation(same alliances etc), the OK RPer, you don't hear to much about them, they have some people who ignore them, others love them, the little people(me) and the crap, n00by ones who no-one listens too.
