The Invasion of China (Earth II, Invite)

The Island of Rose

Official Statement from The Grand Imperial Empire of The Island of Rose:

For far too long, China has been under dictitorial rule for hundreds of years. First by the Royalty, then by the Communists. No more! China is in a mess, and we, the Empire, will fix it. Therefore, with the approval of Parliament the 40th to 50th Rosian Fleets, along with the 7th and 8th Rosian Army, will move into China, liberate it, and establish a friendly Democracy. Because God knows how that a friendly Democracy is a good one. Onwards towards freedom!
Frederick von Hattensberg
Imperial President of The Island of Rose (http://www.geocities.com/veldes1/karl.jpg)

Protector of the Seven Stars

Unbeknownst to the public, the Rosian Fleets were already bombarding Chinese targets. Airplanes from the many Carriers bombed stations, factions' headquarters, tanks, jeeps, planes, anything that can be used to destroy the Rosians. Of course the invasion would be easy, it would just be maintaining that damn thing. China has the biggest population in the world, and that is a bad thing considering the invasion force was 160,000 strong... hey, they're good.

Frederick chuckled. "Ah the joys of being an Empire."

Sergei groaned. "You're pushing Hattensberg. The Soviets are going to be hostile and God knows that this is a risky political move."

Frederick smirked. "You know that half the reason of this invasion was to distract the Soviets."

Sergei scoffed. "And the other half for more land. We already have a foothold in the Med and Asia. Why do we need China?"

Frederick raised his brow. "We can control a whole deal of Asia from China. Plus, our allies won't leave us in the cold. They're not stupid you know."

Sergei sighed. "But we have men in Fod, you're wasting money."

Frederick chuckled. "Ah but Sergei, I raised the Defense budget. Remember?"

Sergei mumbled. "True.... fine. But you know how the extremists are, they'll be suspicious." He stood up and left.

Frederick chuckled. "Let them. What can they do? We are going to establish the kind of Government they want, and we get control of China at the same time. It's a win-win."

Meanwhile south of China, the 45th Rosian Fleet began bombarding that damn coast with missiles. It was beautiful ya know. The sun was blocked, smoke was everywhere, there was a giant sex orgy on the carriers... no that's just me. As I was saying, I can't really get that descriptive about missiles launching in the air, destroying things like they just don't care, so let's continue.

As soon the bombardment ended, the LCACs started... LCACing. Aka, the motors turned on and down went 160,000 men towards their death! Or glory! Depending on how good a shot they are. Either way it would be an easy invasion, difficult peacekeeping. You see there are some factions in China. One is the Triad, brutal SOBs. Think Russian Mafia times 20. They'll kill you with a toothpick. They don't care who wins, they just want money, but there's no place for crime in the new China. Then were the IRIS controlled Chinese Liberation Front. They're very friendly with the Rosian invasion, but of course they want something in return... freedom. Then there's the remains of the PLA, nothing else is needed to be known. Damn assholes.

So that's pretty much it, China is in chaos, the Empire is coming (not cuming) and the invasion is gonna be bloody.... yes!

The PLA are very annoying, well you see:

The Rosians already landed on Guangxi, one of the southern provinces. Landing of course was the easy part, kicking the PLA out of that province was the hard part. No casualties... yet. Just some guys that fainted in the sun, yes they are sissies. The PLA had a brilliant strategy, hide in hospitals! People's Liberation Army my ass, these guys are ter'ists. But really, this is more about an individual story but it represents the general situation.

"Ah... I just come back from fighting in Algeria, and I'm the lead of a tank column. And usually when something good happens to me, shit goes down."

These were the words of Major Hans Gloomberg. He was a tank commander in the Algerian Conquest, promoted because he destroyed a terrorist compound by himself, with the help of his crew of course. Now he was leading a tank column of three Leopard IIs and 7 Puma APCs down the main road of the village. The destination? The capital of Guangxi, Nanning. He was part of a general thrust that would lead to Nanning. A pincer movement really.

But enough of strategy, to the village. It was a normal village, they greeted the Rosians, and the Rosian inturn gave them food and supplies. Now a foreign power was bringing peace to China, but of course the PLA (damn commies) wouldn't have that! Oh no! They like fucking things up.

A PLA guerilla grabbed his RPG-7. He was hiding from a hospital, the column was getting closer and closer, the soldiers escorting the column having no idea what would happen, about twenty were the escorts. He loaded the rocket on his RPG, targetting a random Puma.

3, 2 ,1... woosh boom!

The Puma got hit, not destroyed but disabled. The turrets turned, the soldiers aimed, only to find in their horror that the shot came from a hospital.

What an awkward situation.

The soldier cocked their RAR-9A rifles. Their mission was clear, clear the hospital. The armor of course wasn't vulnerable. Soldiers from little houses started appearing out of nowhere, just shooting the damn things. Obviously they died!

"This is Armor Unit 4! AU 4! We're under attack, right from a hospital! We need support!" Radioed Hans.

".... negative. We are having problems in other sectors, you're gonna have to do this alone. Rose Base out."

Dammit. Hans thought. Luckily he was inside his tank. But being the jackass that he is, he popped out. "Gunners! Start firing on that hospital, covering fire!"

It would be a controversial order.

The soldiers lined up at the door of the hospital. They went inside, SWAT style... not the movie..! As the headed inside the main lobby, it was a mess. Shot up lights, broken tiles, windows. Standard third world hospital really. But the soldiers didn't have the time to notice as they took down two PLA soldiers.

As they started going all throughout the hospital, they saw a horrible sight. Dead bodies, blood, rusty knives, organs. Some soldiers couldn't bear to look at them, but they pressed on.

Finally they reached the jackass who fired the RPG. Guess what they did to him... bang! And when it was all over, the hospital was shot up, with seven Rosians dead or wounded. But with thirty five PLA dead. Still, it wasn't the worst of things. Having found out that most of the people were alive, the villagers started wondering whether the PLA or the Rosians killed the patients.

The villagers entered the hospital, but you should know this by now. They saw their mothers, fathers, uncles, cousins, grandpas, grandmas... all dead. The patients were killed. Some PLA supporters in the village started proclaiming. "Rose kill them! Rose kill them!" In broken English no less.

The villagers started chanting with the PLA people, but Hans took control of the situation. "The PLA is lieing to you!" He said in Chinese since I don't know any. "They oppressed you and you think that we killed them! They took control of the hospital, and they killed them so they wouldn't deal with them! Think dammit!"

The people saw the logic in his thinking, and stopped. They were now a bit untrustworthy of the Rosians, but at least somebody was stepping in to take control. But the damage was done, the first fuck up of Operation: Red Star. Now an investigation would have to be launched, and the media would have to be kept quiet. Luckily the major news station of the Empire was state controlled.

But of course, other provinces were already getting taken over due to IRIS, aka the Imperial Rosian Intelligence Service. How? Well, that'll be explained in the next post.

Bye bye for now.

Granzi
18-02-2005, 21:18
Parliamentary Complex, Granzi City

"Order! I say, have order!"

Presiding Representative Speaker Marcus Glen lifted his gavel and sent it crashing down on the podium. Below him the seats of the chamber were arranged in concentric rings, above him, sunlight filtered through the glass rotunda dome. The hundred or so members of the Lower House milled around in close-knit groups. Off to the far left, a particularly large gathering had formed, and the Representatives there muttered softly among themselves.

Marcus hammered his gavel again. "Order! This session will have order!"

A man left the group and strode purposefully up the aisle. Reaching the podium, he leaned forward and whispered into the Speaker's ear. A hurried exchanged occurred between the two, before Glen stepped down and occupied a seat in the front row. The assembly immediately fell silent.

"Friends and fellow Representatives!" began the man. "Hear my plea! Today, the nation of The Island of the Rose attacked the nation of China in an unprecedented and unprovoked invasion. Initial reports indicate a massive landing force has already breached southern China. Though TIOR is an ally of the Commonwealth, and a fellow NATO member, we must question their actions! Why would The Island of the Rose begin a bloody campaign that will only result in unneeded death? Why have Rosians seen it fit to spread imperialism to an Asia that has already suffered enough?"

"Throughout the Commonwealth's long and distinguished history, we have never forgotten our roots. Our family and friends can all trace lineages to China. Since Granzi's founding, we have taken steps to ensure that our second homeland will not come under the thumb of a foreign regime. The Granzian Armed Forces have fought to keep China free! We have stood before the invaders of Jingzhou! We have halted the hordes of Daylam! We refuted the unwelcome advance of Rubberduckistan! We will now not stand idly by as yet another foreign force seeks to bring more bloodshed to a weary China!"

"As I stand before you, hundreds are dying in an unnecessary and unjust cause. We must end this now! Therefore, as current chair of the National Chinese Caucus, I move for a vote on the resolution at hand. We must take action whether it be diplomatic, or as a last resort, military. This condemnation will show the international community that as long as the Commonwealth stands for its ideals, we will defend China!"

Nathanial Sun, Foreign Minister of Granzi, stepped down to a silent chamber.

The measure passed.

OOC: Hope you don’t mind if I join in… FYI: Forty six percent of Granzians are of Chinese descent, hence why the National Chinese Caucus holds heavy influence.

You do not know the plans for China, you have no right. We only shoot those that resist. We will only have a consulate in China and bases. The Chinese will have their own democratic system, and decide internal affairs. The only influence we will have is their foreign affairs. It's too expensive to run colonies you know. If you wish, you may have a base in China after this mess is over.

RE: The Grand Imperial Empire's invasion of China.

After much discussion within the Chamber, the IDDG's Ministry of Defense has been instructed by the highest authorities to help your Empire in its pacification of the Chinese nation.

While massive deployment of the Dominion's forces is impossible at the current time due to the pressing situation in the Middle East and the rising tensions between its powers, we are willing to offer you, being our close allies, the services of a regiment of the IDDG Army. This elite armoured regiment will be transported to your headquarters in China via airlift. It will work with your forces and be under your command throughout your campaign in the Far East.

Official Statement from The Grand Imperial Empire of The Island of Rose:

Actually, you can help IRIS (Imperial Rosian Intelligence Service) agents in the northern provinces. Specifically in Xinjiang and Tibet. With these two provinces in Rosian control, we will be able to flank the PLA and take China much faster, and with less blood. Hell, we might even take the western provinces first and let the army focus on the eastern provinces. Though, your forces are only allowed in the following provinces:

Guangxi
Guangdong
Fujian
Giangxi
Hunan
Guizhou
Yunnan
Tibet
Xinjiang
Hainan
Taiwan/Former Republic of China
Sichuan/Municipality of Chongqing

The other provinces are currently being taken over by the Neo-Sunnists, and we do not want to fight a war on three fronts. When do you send the regiment, IRIS agents will be waiting for you. Good luck and safe travels.

OOC: Sheesh.. I'm trying to get permission to fly through foreign airspace! I'm not a dolt, you know! I won't send a few thousand guys into foreign airspace without clearance. What, you want me to paint huge bullseyes on my planes while I'm at it? :p

IC:

As soon as the Ministry of Defense received the telegram from the Rosian Department of Defense, the Minister of Defense started making several phone calls. "Lord Langley. Operation: Weathered Flower has been cleared through Rosian channels. As soon as airspace clearance is received, your units must depart."

Lord Langley, Commander of the Air Force, replied cooly to Edgar's orders, "Sir, the contingent of planes is being prepared. Fighter-bomber aircraft will escort the transport planes all the way to China. Tankers will lift off from the Maldives to refuel the aircraft over India, before the transports and escorts make their break north twoards Tibet. But, sir, what if we don't get clearance?"

"The operation will go on," Edgar sounded determined, "If we do not get clearance, we will send all the units of the IDDG Marines at our base in the Maldives instead of Army units. They will go over Rosian fleets, and then turn west towards Tibet. Naval presence is of a priority, Lord Langley. Make sure you contact Lord Easton. Tell him that our naval fleet in the Maldives is to be activitated immediately and deployed to support the Rosian war effort."

"Very well, sir."

Edgar hung up, and Langley immediately established a secure line with Lebanon. Once in contact with Navy HQ, he demanded to speak to Lord Easton, Commander of the IDDG Navy. He re-iterated Edgar's orders before the connection was severed and both men went back to work.

The Lightning Star
19-02-2005, 04:33
Islamabad, Pakistan, Carthaginian India

General Muhammad read the report on his desk. He had always feared something like this would happen. Pakistan was in a serious defence problem. To the west lie the Parthian Empire, which had at one point burned down the great cities of Pakistan and commited Genocide. Although they were now allies, the Roman Confederacy looked like it was falling apart. Even now, the occasional small skirmish would break out on the border. This made it so that the entire Pakistani Army was on the border with Parthia. The people of Pakistan had always felt safe, due to the fact that to the North the Western Chinese were content with their own land. Now, however, the Rosians controlled West China. A war with the Rosians was nearly avoided a few years ago, and now they were going full speed towards the border. Pakistan was in no place to defend against a Rosian Attack, and having the Island of Rose to the north was not a good thing. After sitting in thought for an hour, the general called his top commanders to a meeting.

"Alright, here's the deal" said Muhammad as he layed down the map of the area on the table. "The Rosians are here, and are very close to the border. Too close, might I add. What do you people reccomend?"

A Colonel from Kashmir stood up and said, "We will have troubles if we try to fight a full out war. Nearly 1/3 of the South-Asian Army has been sent to defend Bahrain against Soviet attacks. Although we still have about 1.7 million more troops, if the Rosians manage to raise an army using the enormous population of China we will be in biiiiiig trouble."

"Then what do you reccomend, Colonel?" replied the General.

"I'll answer that..." said a voice from out of the shadows. Out stepped a man with a bandana across his head, baggy pants, a white shirt, and a Cottish Army Vest(probably captured during the Cottish-SBC War) over it. The commanders looked at this man in amazement as he came into view. "My friend the Colonel here has informed me of your predicament. I think I may have the answer....

"What is The Lightning Star famous for? It's freedom fighters, guerrillas, and so called "terrorists". The Sons of the Blue Crescent are more than ready to wage a war against the infidels. We can infiltrate their lines and blow up their supply depots and harrass their caravans. This will make them un-able to launch any attacks on our borders."

The General thought for a moment, then said "If it gets out that we are dealing with the SBC..."

"Not to worry! No one will know, and even if they do, they will be dead at the first chance we get at killing them"

After 5 minutes of deep thought, the General said "Do it"

OOC: Sorry it took me so long to respond, I was at a school dance O_o. Lets just say I dance as well as an elephant flies...

The static slowed down for a moment, and the transmission came over Langley's radio, "Cleared through foreign airspace. I repeat, sir, cleared through foreign airspace."

Langley grinned. He spoke into the unit, "Very well. Cleared through foreign airspace. Get the big birds off the ground. Tell Neitsvy to contact the base in the Maldives."

"Roger that, sir."

<Freedom AFB, Greenmanbry>

The IDDG Air Force pilots were accustomed to the humming in their cockpits. The F-15E pilots were dressed and ready for takeoff. They had been briefed on the situation, and were given orders to proceed through Parthian and Lightning Starian airspace even if clearance had not been received. Thankfully, that will not be the case now. Similarly, pilots in SU-27s and F/A-91As were also ready to escort the cargo planes on their mission. In a distant, open section of Freedom AFB, eighteen C-130s and twelve C-141Bs were being loaded with armour, fast reconnaisance vehicles and, of course, combat-ready soldiers.

Their flightplan would take them south of Saudi Arabia, through the air space of Yemen, westward through Oman, through Iran, once again through India, until they enter Chinese territory. During the way, tankers will depart from the Maldives to refuel the many planes on their journey. When the planes do finally enter Chinese airspace, the plan was for them to break off into two groups, one heading to Lhasa in the Tibet, the other to Urumqi in Xinjiang.

Once on the ground, with the perimeter secured and the base operational, a massive force of IDDG Marines would be shipped from Greenmanbry's base in the Maldives to the Chinese coast, then airlifted to both regions.

The soldiers, many of which were trained disciples of Krekar, were desperate to quench their thirst for blood. They nearly screamed in delight as the C-130s thrust reached maximum, and the behemoth slowly sped down the runway, only to land many hours later in far-away China. Behind them, the F-15E Strike Eagles taxiied onto three different runways before their engines started sucking air at maximum speed, forcing them down the runway at a phenomenal pace.

And so the Lord sayeth, "Imma kick your ass." And so it was done.

The march through the province of Guangxi was simple. The capital city fell, and now the entire province was under Rosian control.

Rose International News Network

"This is Tanya Pavalski for RINN, today Rosian forces captured the capital city of Guangxi. The Chinese are happy that they are free, but the Rosians still have much to do. They are now in the process of reconstruction, and have dubbed the province the Free Imperial Republic of China. The Rosians plan to move east and west, military analysts say that the actual invasion will end in a few weeks, but reconstruction might take a year at best."

A picture of a Chinese flag with a ying-yang appears on the left corner of the screen.

"In other news, the Triads aka the Chinese Mafia, are rumored with supplying the PLA with arms. They are also rumored with working with Rosian forces in providing intelligence. Though, both cannot be confirmed. But it is RINN's observation that the Triads will not have a place in the new China. This is Tanya Pavalski for RINN signing off."

A puff of smoke. "That's what they think."

The Triads were a brutal bunch, or should I say Triad. There was only one group controlling southern China, that was the Xing. The Xing were a brutal bunch, operatives all over. They controlled the black market and powerful to the point that they could influence the Rosians invading southern China. Of course, the Rosians didn't want a powerful organization undermining the Free Imperial Republic.

But the Xing didn't want to undermine it, they just wanted money. Be it from the neighboring Soviet Union or otherwise. They didn't care who won, they just wanted the money. But the Rosians were going to win anyway. So now it was up to them to win the Empire over. The Xing and the Empire both knew that the Triads could not be eliminated completely. So the Empire would have to choose a path, work with them or get cockblocked from a conquer. I think the latter is worse then the first.

Another puff of smoke. A man in the shadows sitting in his La-Z-Boy and with a Lieutanent standing next to him. "Song, why aren't the Rosian stopping?"

Song, the Lieutanent, cleared his throat. "Sir, the Rosians want all of south China."

The man responded. "And what of the operations in the North?"

Song shook his head. "Dead, the Neo-Suunists won them over."

The man grunted. "Damn!

Song sighed. "Even worse, our operations in Tibet and Xinjiang are going to be destroyed. IRIS operations are heavy."

The man shrugged. "As long as we have operations. We'll just keep them under observation for now."

Meanwhile, the IRIS controlled Chinese Liberation Front watched as the Greenmanbrian forces landed in their respective provinces. But this is the story on the one in Tibet, controlled by IRIS Agent John Hankock. He already was there, on a Humvee of course. And manned by a Chinese CLF soldier.

He stepped out and approached the Greenmanbrian group. "So you're the guys with the armor eh? Great. We'll be able to take this province fast. We're going to do a little operation in the capital of Tibet. Once we control that city, we'll have the rest of the province down."

He pointed to the convoy of Humvees approaching the Humvee he arrived from. "We'll take you to operations. Now come on let's go."

Meanwhile, the Rosian Combined Chinese Invasion Army started marching towards Guangdong and Yunnan. If IRIS could take Xinjiang and Tibet and the Rosian Combined Army could take Guangdong and Yunnan, the rest of the invasion would be easy.

But that's for another post. Good bye for now.

Quickie Post:
Prime Minister James Hendrix(:p) took to the podium. He was on a second story balcony overlooking Coastal Trieste. Below him was a crowd of thousands.

He spoke:
Brothas and Sistas of Trieste. It seems that our rightous allies, The Rosians, have undertaken a huge...undertaking. They have invaded China, hoping to finally bring stability to the great beast of asia. As stanuch allies of the Rosians, our High emperor has issued the following Order:

He took a crumpled piece of paper from his purple crash velvet coat.

*Ahem*
Reading-
People of Inkana. For centuries, Asia has been a cauldron of warlords, pirates, and crime lords. At the center of this bubbling mess of corruption lies China. China, a nation so rich in resources and manpower, a nation with so much promise, cannot reach its full potential because of these scum.

The Island of Rose, one of Inkana's closest allies, has taken the burden to strengthen and help China reach it's potential. It will not be an easy task, however. Therfore, I have decided to take the following actions:

1) Declaration of Full diplomatic, military and economic support to The Rosian Goverment and Military.

2) A token force of One(1) Battle Fleet will be sent to Macau. Onboard are Two Full Guarde Corps. Objectives are to secure that city.

3) Two(2) Light Fleets will be sent to Qingdao. Onboard is One Imperial Marine Force. Objectives are to secure that city.

James Folded the piece of paper and slided it back into his coat.

That's will be all. Peace out!

Major General Philip Grimes was on the ground in Tibet. His overcoat was trying to shield his body from the harsh weather of this icy region. A man rasied in the deserts of Greenmanbry, he was not at all used to this weather. He clenched his teeth as the huge cargo doors of fifteen aircraft opened behind him.

He watched as a column of Humvees went around the outpost his troops were setting up, and headed straight to the airfield. He walked slowly towards the column. Two dozen IDDG soldiers, armed to the teeth, also did the same.

He conversed with the Rosian soldier, pointing to the plethora of Range Rovers that were being moved out of the C-130s behind him, as well as other vehicles such as mobile communication units and medium battletanks. The group was suddenly illuminated by the bright flashlight from a D-11 Apocalypse as its engine roared to life and it came closer to their position.

"We'll take you to operations. Now come on let's go."

The last line made by the Rosian soldier was bold enough to make the Major General of Greenmanbry's 31st Rapid Response Division raise his eyebrows. Now who the hell does he think he is? the Major General pondered.

"Boys, finish setting up this base. Set up defensive stations around the perimeter. Use the hangars to house and maintain the cargo planes. I want the squadrons to take turns. At least half of our air power should be where it belongs - in the air - at all times. Begin targetting suspected holdouts. Destroy any and all non-allied planes you encounter. Get in touch with Major General Andersson up at Xinjiang. I'm sure he's doing what we're doing right now. Oh, and once we settle down, send the cargo planes to the Maldives. We need room for reinforcement coming in from there. I want 70% of you guys in your vehicles, with me. The rest of you, go, get the heck back to work!"

Major General Grimes wearily stood on his Range Rover's side-steps, and lifted his body into the car. With a quick motion, the Range Rover's engine revved to life, moving behind the Rosian column, to the city center of Tibet's capital. Behind him, Small assault vehicles, Range Rovers, and tanks formed quite a formidable display of force for such a small regiment.

John was in the front Humvee, he began breifing the Major through the radio.

"All right. Here's the mission. We have IRIS agents in the city. The thing is, the PLA has a strong presence. In specific armor and air power. Now the Empire couldn't supply us with this, all they could do is give us light vehicles. But now with your support we can give out boys cover. All we have to do is destroy two bases inside the city. We also have to take out all the armor and air power around the place. UVACs and satellites say that there are over fifty armor units and over twenty helicopters patrolling. But lucky for us, they're T-54s or outdated UH-1s. By the way, try not to get so many civilians killed. We're heroes not conquerers."

The column started approaching the city. As the gunners readied their RHM-7As (the replacement for the M2, these use 15mm) and got their bearings. Others started praying to God or their god. I don't know how these people work.

The CLU agents spotted the convoy.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Explosions rocked the city. Government buildings went in flames, banks destroyed, government media centers turned to dust. And in this mess CLU agents started waging their guerilla war against the PLA in the city.

"All right boys!" John shouted. "Let's get ready to shoot some PLA bastards!"

And so the column started entering the city.

((OOC: I'll let you decide PLA casualties Green.))

Major General Gripes put the unit down as the explosions were heard throughout the city. "Dammit!" he muttered as his vehicle slid to a halt.

Grabbing his radio once again, he contacted HQ, "This is Tango-1, we need air support. Rosian intelligence sources indicate presence of enemy gunships. I repeat, we need air support! And their tanks outnumber ours!"

"Roger that, Tango-1. Air support on its way." An immediate order was wired to the six F-15E Strike Eagles patrolling over the base, "Eagle-6, this is Alpha. Helicopter gunships present in city. IDDG column requests air support. I repeat, gunships present. Eliminate this threat, situation: critical."

"Alpha, this is Eagle-6. Affirmative."

The F-15Es banked to the right as their thrust propelled them deep into the heart of the city. Command patched an order to the three Su-27s that were being readied for patrol, "Golf-3, this is Alpha. Immediate support required in city to rout out enemy armour. Rosian intelligence indicates that the enemy maintains powerful armoured presence in the city. Possible coordinates of sites of interest being relayed to GlobalNET."

"Roger that, Alpha," came the reply, "Taking off to perform precision strikes in city."

==

Major General Gripes was looking at the map of the city on his Range Rover's bonnet. "I want the fast attack vehicles to jump into the fray. Load them up with assault and snipers. Get them to move into the city center as quickly as possible and hole up in any protected building they can find. I want the Apocalypses to be flanked by the Range Rovers. Move slowly into the city. I want soldiers weilding anti-aircraft missiles, as well as snipers, to be shielded from attack. They are valuable assets, and could take care of the planes and the bazookas.. since we'll obviously see many of those."

A few kilometers away, the sound of whirring rotors became quite audible. "Fuck. We haven't started, and already the gunships are here.. Go to your vehicles. Get the AA guns and missiles out."

The soldiers ran off to their transports. All of a sudden, the ground shook as the rumbling of massive engines came closer to their position. The F-15Es were flying low, in formation, ready to release their missiles, "Eagle-6 here, I have visual on three gunships. I'll handle the middle one, Eagle-7, take care of the one on the right. Eagle-8, put the leftmost one out of action. Eagle-9 to Eagle-17, break off guys. Continue sweeping the city for other gunships. There are plenty of them."

Gripes watched as the three Strike Eagles let loose their Air-to-Air missiles. The missiles sped to several times the speed of sound, hurtling towards the three choppers. In seconds, the three choppers were hit. They were easy targets. As they came down into the trees surrounding a city block, T-55 tanks became visible. "Forget our plan for now, tank crews, move into that column of T-55s at full speed.. Take them by surprise, put the dolts out of commission. Snipers, move into the city carefully. Take up positions on rooftops, if possible. Get a tracker, each and every one of you. We need to know where you are once we start clearing individual buildings."

The D-11s sped down the hill before the city entrance and onto the city's streets. The T-55 tanks were advancing towards their position. They must have caught sight of the D-11s by now. With an echoing "boom" the D-11s fired their 120 mm rounds into the turrets of the T-55s. Before the latter had time to respond, the D-11s had fired another shot straight into their hulls, thanks to the responsive dual cannons. The T-55s, finally aware of the scale of the attack, started to send volley after volley of shells at the D-11s. Major General Gripes watched from the hill as the T-55s went up in flames, one by one. He watched as the lead D-11 Apocalypse, nearly incapacitated by T-55 rounds, moved into the remains of the T-55s, turning slowly into a city street. Seconds later, a huge explosion erupted from the D-11's location, and the D-11 was caught in flames. Gripes lowered his binoculars. "Holy crap. Mines."

He ran back to his Range Rover and hailed all tank crews over his GlobalNET radio, "This is Tango-1. Darwin-8 struck by a mine. Repeat, Darwin-8 struck by a mine. Do not continue push towards city center. Snipers and Assault units, get out of your vehicles. We'll continue this push on foot. Other units, stay with the armour at the city perimeters. As we clear the city block by block, we'll let you move in after us."

Cripes! the Major General cursed under his breath, This was going to be one long battle! He had hoped for a smooth incursion into the city, but apparently that wasn't going to work, unless the Su-27s did their work splendidly.

With a few hand gestures, Colonel Dean got his group in formation for infiltrating the city. Two hundred meters away, he could see Colonel Hillier's group moving through the city as well. Together, they formed TaskForce-A, the first of four task forces in the regiment. In his radio, Dean spoke to Hillier, "Lead-2, this is Lead-1. A and B will move parallel to each other."

The reply came shortly thereafter, "Roger, Lead-1."

Dean moved forward, his assault rifle poised to shoot down any PLA militants. In front of him were fellow soldiers with metal detectors and mine-clearing equipment. To his left, he heard several cries, followed by concentrated gunfire and shouting in Chinese.

"Lead-1, this is Lead-2. Enemy ambush. Targets on rooftops, behind T-55s, in T-55s, in buildings, and on the street. We are outnumbered!"

Dean could see Group-B across a few streets from him. A massive firefight ensued, with Hillier's soldiers running for cover behind destroyed vehicles and buildings. Hillier himself was at the forefront of his group, behind a burning T-55 tank. Hillier raised his sniper rifle, and began firing into the attackers. Dean's team remained in thier positions, cautiously waiting for a possible ambush on them as well. Hillier would have to battle it out himself, Dean thought. All of a sudden, a T-55 emerged from a corner of the street. It didn't notice them, it kept on moving, then it turned towards Hillier's group. With its back exposed to Dean's Group-A, Dean looked at a few of his bazooka-weilding men. He nodded. Two of the soldiers quietly moved away from the group and got on their knees. After four seconds of fiddling with their weapons, two rockets were sent screaming towards the rear-end of the T-55. Already partially crippled, the two rockets were everything the T-55's engine needed to burst into flames, destroying the tank.

"Lead-1, this is Lead-2. Buildings cleared. Targets neutralized. All eighty six of them. Thanks for the help," Hillier joked, "I'll owe you the same when you get into a firefight. Lead-2, over."

Dean grinned, "Any casualties on our side?"

"Ten wounded. Two critically. We should be able to continue."

"Lead-2, we'll continue the incursion. The fox is in place. It should be of great help to us once we reach the inner-city." Dean said into his radio, referring to the stationed snipers.

"Lead-1, affirmative."

Dean radioed Gripes, asking him to move the armour closer to their position, now that four blocks were cleared of mines.

"Golf-3, this is Eagle-9. Enemy base spotted. I don't know how many tanks there are, but it's definately more than a dozen!"

"Eagle-9, this is Golf-3. Roger that. I have visual on your location. Still, relay coordinates to Golf."

"Roger that, Golf-3. Coordinates will be relayed."

After two minutes of straight and level flight, the Su-27s got their coordinates from the F-15E Strike Eagle.

"Eagle-9, Golf has acquired coordinates."

"Take them out, Golf."

The F-15E's pilot banked to the left harshly.

"Eagle-9 hailing Eagle-6. Abandon sector D-5. Su-27 precision strike in process."

"Roger that, Eagle-9. We have been tracking at least six gunships throughout the city. I have visual on two in sector C-7. Requesting support."

"Rogert that, Eagle-6."

==

The Su-27s were making their way to the enemy base. The pilots nervously removed their visors, wiping the sweat off their forehead before putting them back on. As they approached the base, they heard anti-air guns firing.

"Golf-4, Golf-5, this is Golf-3. Release bombs."

"Golf-4, roger that."

"Golf-5, roger."

With one motion of their hands, the three pilots released their armament of eight unguided bombs onto the base below. Immediately, they broke formation, heading back to base, trying to avoid the intense anti-aircraft fire.

"Alpha, this is Golf-3, returning to base. Mission accomplished."

The lead Su-27 gained altitude as massive explosions erupted from the base below. The bombs had hit several ammo bunkers. They couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. One F-15E circled the base, watching the carnage below, trying to assess the situation and relay statistics back to Alpha.

With Tibet under attack it's only obvious that Xinjiang would fall. Yes, Xinjiang is under Rosian control now. Thanks to Greenmanbrian efforts, they were able to take Xinjiang in less then a day. Of course I can't really say I took it, it's not as fun. So I'm going to waste thirty minutes of my time giving you every detail.

Now imagine a large base in the Xinjiangian countryside. It has hangers, tanks, Humvees, sentries, the works. Now where did the tanks come from? It was a former Chinese base. Full of T-90s ya know. Now go inside towards the center building. It's the HQ. And inside are hundreds of soldiers inside a massive briefing room. It looks like a theatre. And on the stage is a man that looks like a Secret Service agent. But he's the IRIS agent in charge of the operations in the province. They call him... Mr. X..! Yes so cliched hm? He cleared his throat, the room went silent and he started his speech.

"Soldiers." He said. "Today we are going to take the next step in the liberation of China. With the help of former PLA soldiers we will take the capital city of Xinjiang. We need to come in fast, the mines have already been disabled thanks to the spies we have inside the PLA. All we have to do is rush in fast."

A map of the capital city of Xinjiang descended down towards the stage. Mr. X took out a pointer and started pointing at the map. Sorry, I can't really get anymore detailed. "We will have to rush towards the town square. IRIS agents and CLF soldiers inside the city will handle the fighting. Our job is to provide support for them. If the armor isn't destroyed, they'll have no chance. You already know your jobs, now let's do this. For China!"

For China!

After thing cry, hundreds of soldiers started loading themselves on the tanks, trucks, Humvees, and what have you. A giant column of many vehicles exited the base, the base was empty. This was do or die. As they started arriving, resistance was minimal. Surrenders were large. Of course the diehards died... hard. The bullets let up the sky and the T-90s shook the ground as they annialated the resistance. All that was left was the square.

"Okay boys!" Said a Sergeant. "We need to secure the square! Get off!"

Various CLF and former PLA soldier stepped out of their trucks. Some died as soon as they got off, others started to hide behind the rubble of tanks that blew up. They were to take the main Government building, by foot. As they cocked their RAR-9As they were thinking Ah fuck! or For China! Obviously, the Ah fuck! was more common.

Chinese (the good ones) soldiers started to rush inside the building, and it was a bloody battle indeed! Lights destroyed, bulletholes, dead snipers, dead demolition men, dead everything. They even killed a puppy! Of course they didn't care, they ate that puppy for dinner afterwards. It was delicious by the way. Back to the story. After an entire day, the square stood silent. Rosian/Chinese soldiers started giving the people food. The Government buildings flew the Chinese flag, but with a Rose to the right. PLA soldiers were being rounded off to prison camps, and they surrendered en masse to the Rosian/Chinese. It was a good day.

Rose International News Network

This is Alexandr Petrov in Xinjiang with good news. The capital of Xinjiang and probably the province fell today due to the combined efforts of the Chinese Liberation Front and Rosian Special Forces. Also, General Hu Shan, a major Chinese General who was leading resistance forces in the eastern provinces. Also, the provinces of Yannan and Guangdong also fell to Rosian Combined Army forces. Plus, Taiwan and Hainan surrendered to the Rosian Armada. This makes Taiwan, Hainan, Guangdong, Xinjiang, and Guangxi part of the Free Imperial Republic of China. Tibet and Fujian is estimated to fall in one day or more. This is a great day for China and the Empire. This is Alexandr Petrov for RINN.

It was a good day indeed.

On an Airbase in Carthaginian Kashmir

10 jets had been assembled on the airfield in the snow-covered mountains. Although it was a bright day, no one could notice the field in the shadow of the great mountains of the Karrakorum Range. The Fantan A-5's were armed with heat-seeking missiles, rockets, and napalm bombs. The Rosians had taken too much too fast, and high command decided that they had officially become a Mollusc-Class Threat(the second highest threat, after Gladius-Class). To put this bluntly, the Rosians needed to be taught a lesson in Asian politics. After praying to Allah for swiftness and victory, the pilots jumped into their jets and took off. On 7 other airfields, 70 other pilots were doing the same.

As soon as they crossed the border, they encountered Rosian Brigades headed towards Tibet. Seizing the opportunity, the jets descended upon the Rosians like lightning bolts. Now the Carthaginian Airforce would show the brutality that had made it famous. The Rosian Troops, surprised by the sudden appearance of what they had previously believed to be friendly jets, lingered where they were for too long. Over 80 loads of Napalm were dropped on their lines, and the screams of the men on fire echoed throughout the mountains. After a few seconds, the Rosian AA defences began to open on the Carthaginian planes, but these were quickly knocked out. The rest of the Rosian Soldiers tried firing their weapons at the jets, but they were of little use. After coming back around to strafe the ground one more time, the planes headed back towards home. Once they were safely in Carthaginian, the leader of the jets radioed in to HQ. Enemy border units disabled. All clear for the attack.

Upon hearing this message, bases along the Carthaginian-Xinjiang border became active...really active...

OOC: Sorry if it seems like I over-did it. I just presumed that you wouldn't have alot of troops on the Xinjiang-Kashmir border.

"Eagles, this is Eagle-6, I have visual on gunships in Sector C-8. They're all hovering over the second base. I guess they're the remaining choppers. Get into battle formation, arm your Air-to-Air missiles."

"Roger that, Eagle-6." The different aircraft veered off their courses to join Eagle-6. The old Hueys were lifting off, one by one. Many militants were on them.

"Eagle-6, locked on target. Releasing missile, NOW!" The F-15E's missile hurtled towards one of the foremost choppers. Other planes fired on other targets with uncanny precision and timing. As they retreated to base, two new Su-27s had reached the city to decimate the second base. They were armed with unguided bombs as well. "Golf-1, Golf-2, this is Alpha. You are cleared to neutralize base."

"Alpha, Golf-1 here, roger that."

The Su-27s swung low, releasing their payload from their many hardpoints and, as they pulled up at a sharp angle, the deafening sounds of explosions were heard throughout the city.

==

TaskForce-A had witnessed the bombings of the two bases. The smoke and debris was thick indeed. During that time, they had advanced through many city blocks, carefully clearing randomly-placed mines. They encountered only minimal resistance, with unorganized militants trying to attack them. The threats were easily beaten, now that the entire Regiment was moving together through the city streets.

It was time for a final push. With all the Southern provinces under Rosian control, all they had to do is go North. Still, they had their troubles from a more mysterious enemy.

Rose International News Network

...and as PLA soldier surrender en masse, reconstruction efforts are going smoothly. Meanwhile, crime syndicates around the Free Imperial Republic... (For that is the name of the new China) ...have been shut down or destroyed thanks to the combined efforts of Rosian and Chinese forces. Meanwhile, Frederick issued a statement congratulating the soldiers saying that "Thanks to you, China can be free and thanks to you, we didn't have many casualties". Meanwhile in sports...

A cigar. "Did you hear that Song? My operations are getting destroyed! We need to act!"

Song replied. "Sir, if we strike now, the Rosians will know where we are and bomb it."

The man with the cigar chuckled. "Oh Song, we're damned if we do and damned if we don't."

Song raised his brow. "Can't we work with the Rosian Government instead?"

The man smashed his fist against the desk that is there now because I say so. "No! I won't let them take my operations away!"

Song took out a Glock while men rushed in and started beating the boss, after that Song took his seat and started smoking the cigar. "Okay men, I'm in charge. Contact the Neo-Suunist Government, maybe they can help us maintain our operations in China."

To: The Neo-Suunist Government
From: Xing

Greetings China, I am sure you are familiar with the Triad. We are the
most powerful one in Southern China, but the Rosians don't want us here.
Therefore, we are making you an offer. The Rosians want to give you high
class weaponry, we can give them to you at a lower price. We have agents
everywhere, we can give you intelligence. In return, we would like to become
a state sponsored mafia so to speak. We'll keep vice under control, you'll have
no crime rate to speak of. If you refuse, we'll leave you alone. But I'm sure
you'll need some help. Remember, our offer is always open.
Song
Leader of Xing

Meanwhile Rosian and Chinese Army forces got ready for the Blitzkrieg Across China, aka Operation BAC. Leopold IIs and T-90s prepared themselves. The plan said that all that was needed was a show of force. And dammit, I would run too if I saw hundreds of tanks that their sole purpose in life is to kill me.

Supplies were put on trucks, Humvees reved, soldiers briefed, reporters... getting ready to report things. I don't know. Really it would be a large thing. But let me tell you how China is doing.

China is doing good really. Intern-Governments were being set up all over the Provinces. And each of these Intern-Governments were sending delegates to discuss the democratization of China, under Rosian supervision of course. This is what they had, and yes it's based loosely off the Rosian system. There would be a bi-cameral system. The lower house being the House of the People, and the higher house being the House of the Senate. Districts would elect one representitive to the House of the People (now referred as HOTP) and each province would elect one Senator to the House of the Senate (now referred as HOTS). Legislation would go first through HOTP, if approved it would go through HOTS. If approved, the President (the Executive Power) would... approve it. If vetoed, if would have to wait a year to be voted on again.

Simple eh?

The Judicial System is the High Court. Elected by the People, a Judge from each province would be elected by the People, with the Head Judge chosen by the President. And they would basically function as the American Supreme Court.

Now on to the President's advisors. There would be five, like the Rosian system. The Minister of the Interior (who dealt with... Interior things), the Ministr of Defense (who dealt with Defense, duh), the Minister of Foreign Affairs (this speaks for itself), the Minister of Commerce (deals with trade) and the Minister of Government (who made sure the Government went smoothly). They would form the Cabinet and decide what happens in their side of the... thing.

But that's enough. While you were reading this extensive post on Government, the PLA on the Northern provinces surrendered and all of the Chinese provinces that were to be freed to Rosian forces were taken over. Yes.

You just got punked!

Official Statement from The Free Republic of China:

Greetings World! Thanks to the Rosian Empire, we are free from oppression. But we are not done yet, for we must form our Government. And under the guidance of the Empire, we will reconstruct. We have no leader yet, but the Free Republic has been established. As of now, we are settling the provinces down and fixing up the mess. We would also like to extend the olive branch to the Neo-Suunist Government, for they have the same goals as us. Long live Free China!
Intern-Government of the Free Republic of China

The next posts shall be about reconstruction and the like. And yes, the Chinese will have a new flag. Hell, maybe elections too.

Official Statement from The Grand Imperial Empire of The Island of Rose:

You do not have to worry about the Empire abusing China. We have plans with China that will increase the Empire's position in the world and will free China from foreign influence at the same time. We will not run China like a colony. On the contrary, the Chinese themselves are already establishing their Government. We will only supervise this transition, plus build bases along the borders. They will house both Rosian and Chinese soldiers. And when the Government and the Republic is stable, we will leave. Only our bases will remain.

OOC: Why haven't you responded to my airstrikes? Ah well...

IC: Kashmir-Xinjiang Border

In the rugged mountain passes of the Kashmir-Xinjiang Border, a fleet of helicopters flew past ancient buddhist shrines and across snowfields to infiltrate Rosian Territory. They soon flew past desolace and destruction, the fruits of the Airforces earlier work. They soon came close to the city of Taxkorgan. Although the Rosian War machine was tough and mighty, the Carthaginians believed they had the advantage. Xinjiang was a very Muslim Province, part of the Turkestan area. The followers of Allah would surely back them instead of the Infidel Rosians. Not to mention, the Rosian Army was too small, and their Chinese Allies were no match for the Carthaginian Army. After a few hours of flight, the helicopters reached the outskirts of the city. After dropping off their soldiers, the Helicopters moved in for the kill.

The Great Islamic Peoples of Xinjiang, we ask that you rise up against your new oppressors and fight to restore East Turkestan! You tried this many times before, and now the time is right! You have the backing of the people of Carthage, who will support your efforts as long as we have breath. Rise up, fellow followers of Allah, and throw off the shackles of Infidel Imperialism!

"We have intelligence which indicates that Carthaginian forces are moving on Xinjiang. Your Excellency, what would you like us to do?"

Chiisu Suun pondered the situation before addressing Kichi Yoshida. "While not under our direct administrative control, Xinjiang is still a part of Greater China. Let the Rosians handle it. If they fail, then they will proven themselves unable to defend China and we will step in to take charge. We shall observe and analyse until then; at the very least, we shall see the military prowess of our regional neighbours in action."

The common response when muslims saw the film were. "Meh, the Rosians treat us right. All they want are bases, we'll give it to them." And whatnot.

So as soon as the helicopters started flying towards the city, the following was done.

"Hey sir."

"Yeah?"

"There seems to be alot of helicopters that want us dead."

"Then call air support, I'm trying to beat this level."

The soldier shrugged. "Okay." He picked up a radio. "Hey Delta Squadren, you think you can get rid of a few guys down here?"

Now what the Carthaginian forces didn't know was that the Rosian Armed Forces was famous for a few things. In specific, it was famous for its high use of aircraft. And what they didn't know is that they had a squadron protecting each district or major city. And since this was a major city, well, it was only obvious that there would be planes around here. And according to the law of the land, planes can take out helicopters.

And so, five R/F-91s appeared over the city, this was part of the squadron that would defend the city, it, whatever.

The lead pilot spoke back. "Ah yeah, I see them. The HUD says they're Carthagian. Well, they're going to regret this."

The five R/F-91s approached the helicopters... and you know what they did? They started firing their 20mm uranium tipped bullets at the helicopters and whatnot and even fired a missile at each one of them. Ah, it was a partay, but I can't really say casualties. But in all probability, they're gonna die.

Meanwhile, Chinese soldiers (because we didn't disband the army) started to approach the soldiers on their T-90s. There five T-90s by the way. They were joined a Leopold II and ten Humvees, armed of course. They started to approach the soldiers. As soon as they got near, they readied their weapons and proclaimed...!

"This is Major Wu Gang, you are surrounded. Leave from this area and we won't have to kill you. We have air superiority now. We saw your airstrike, but we are now strengthing ourselves. Surrender, and you will be spared. Stay, and you shall die."

As the Major said that, the entire squadron of R/F-91s, now numbering twenty-five planes in total started to fly around the city and city outskirts.

While they are fiercly nationalistic(for their own state, of course), They would help you if you gave them this stuff. To: The Combined Rosian Forces
From: Prime Minister Steve Hargin

We believe that you are encroaching on our land, and we are protecting our interests. Our population is full of Muslims who have fled from oppressive regimes in China(about 17% of our Pakistani Population. That means about 34 million people), and they want nothing but a free and independent East Turkestan(that's what the People of Xinjiang call Xinjiang). Do not worry, however, we do not wish to conquer this land for our own purposes. And we will treat your captured soldiers with the greatest respect that we can. However, the militant group the Soldiers of the Blue Crescent(the Militant wing of the Sons of the Blue Crescent, who are officially at war with my government) is also fighting you, so do not expect all of your enemies to treat you this way.

Outside of Taxkorgan

"We've got incoming missiles!" shouted a helicopter pilot just seconds before his helicopter burst into flames. Thankfully, most of the infantry were on the ground, but quite a few were still in the helicopter. Some of the troops on the ground pulled out Anza's (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/row/sa-7.htm) at the incoming Rosian jets. They got a few hits, but it would be really hard for them to get them all. The commander of this assault, Colonel Kar, called the Kashmir base for assistance. "We're coming under heavy air fire! The Anza's can hold 'em off for a while, but we're going to need some Thunders!"

__________________________________

Back in Kashmir, 60 Carthaginian JF-17 Thunders (http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/china/fc-1.htm) took off to combat the Rosian Air Force. The Rosians thought they were better pilots. Bah! There was one thing that secured Carthage's independence, and that was it's air force. The Military Society revolved around the Air Force, and they wouldn't let some snooty Rosians spit in their face. 20 of these jets would escort 5 C-130's, which(combined) were carrying 10 Al-Khalid (http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/pakistan/mbt-2000.htm) tanks, the main battle tank of the army. They would air-drop them into the battle, like always. Not to mention, there would be planes to paradrop in 10,000 Shock Troopers.

___________________________________
(Back outside Taxkorgan)

Colonel Kar then pulled out his megaphone and gave the Carthaginians reply.

Surrender? HA! We laugh in the face of your puny threats! We are the sons of Hannibal, we never surrender! We are armed to the teeth, and we surely outnumber you! We will fight you to our last breath!

And with that, the Carthaginians(who had previuously been either crouching or laying on the ground) jumped up and began to charge towards the city. Many RPG-30 rockets flew towards the tanks and armored vehicles. Although the Carthaginians charged like wildmen, left and right they got gunned down. however, before when they were at 30% casualties(thats about 600 people), the airforce arrived. Launching missiles at the defending jets, a fierce dogfight ensued. From the sky dropped tanks(with Parachutes, of course :)) and Shock Troopers, eager to get into the fray.

The Rosians thought that the Carthaginians were just some fiesty little people to the south. They were soon to be proved wrong.

Just as the missiles were slamming into Rosian planes, soldiers, tanks, and buildings, and as Carthaginian troops were being mowed down left and right, Colonel Kar got a radio from high command. After finishing his talk, he got on the megaphone and said...

"HOLD IT!"

...and then explained why the war was over. As soon as hearing this, the Carthaginians walked up to the Rosians and asked if they would like to have some tea. The Rosians accepted, and they had a jolly fun time. Unfortunatly, the stench of bodies and burning buildings made it a bit...not good smelling... so they had to cut the tea time short. Then the Carthaginians got on their helicopters and flew home. Thus ended the shortest war in Carthaginian History.

Casualties:
475 Killed
734 Wounded
17 Jets Destroyed
1 Al-Khalid Tank Destroyed
37 Helicopters Destroyed
1 Foldable Tea Table Destroyed

"Is this accurate?"

"Apparently so. It makes me question their intentions."

Dragon-Premier Chiisu Suun scowled. "So it's possible that they're not only bringing in more foreigners, but they may even be giving away Chinese territory to more imperialists?! This cannot continue. If this is true, and they do give away our rightful national territory, how long before the south becomes a patchwork of various imperialist enclaves?"

Security Minister Kichi Yoshida nodded. "I completely agree. We are the indigenous government of China, yet we have been sidelined by these swine while they divide up the south between themselves. How long before their greed overcomes them and they try attacking us?"

Foreign Minister Rongyi Bei stepped forward. "Perhaps a conference, Your Excellency? Gather all concerned parties together to discuss the matter, like civilised people."

"Yes, a conference. That is, if any of them have the decency to attend. We'll wait and see if any more powers turn up to feed on China first, so that we know who we're inviting."

The cabinet ministers bowed their heads and left. Chiisu sat down on a nearby couch, and Tian Yao brought him some tea before taking his seat next to the Dragon-Premier.

"Tian, what would you do in this situation?"

Tian smiled at his young leader. "Pretty much what you're doing. It is in your destiny to become ruler of all China, I know that for certain; any actions you take on the road to that goal will be in all our best interest.
