ViZion does not, and is extremely opposed to it. However, we will not go to war over simply having slavery in your country.

The Empire has slaves. Elves and humans mainly. The former more than the latter. Most other Xeno races are exterminated on sight.
(I'm future tech here. Also, this is OOC knowledge.)
The Infinite Crucible

Yes my nations does. A race was created to be a the working force of my nation.
I do not, althyough we do inslave captured politicians from enemy nations. I would not count that, though.
Random Kingdom
16-02-2005, 01:06
Random Kingdom doesn't, but its far-right colony (puppet) Sweatshoponia does. I placed my vote in the "Yes in some parts" box.
Turetel is openly opposed to all forms of slavery and slave selling. If a nation is caught (openly and blatantly) selling slaves we will commonly follow up with sanctions and usually try and topple the regime that wishes to use slaves if they are unwilling to neogotiate. We will skip the stage of diplomacy if you try and hide you slavery exploits and go straight for your government and topple it down (not in a literal way).
In other words we strongly dislike with a vengence that of the name of slavery.
We do not count forcing criminals to work and convicts or those who wish to destroy a peaceful or friendly nation through terrorism and commonly will force them into hard labor (3 cents an hour baby!)
The Empire of Risban forces captured criminals (for major crimes) and terrorists to work. So, I suppose that would count as a little bit of slavery...
Terra Formi
16-02-2005, 01:14
Terra Formi does NOT practice slavery, I am proud to say. All of our citizens work hard for the common goal of the good of the Fatherland!
*hides some opressed workers*
Yeah, so I can't really put either, considering my nation refers to its citizens as "human resources."
Theao doesnt practice slavery persay but it does have bondsmen, thralls, serfs and indentured workers.
Malkyer does not, and is firmly opposed to the idea.
Krioval does not allow slavery.
6th Core

6th Core does not. Although we are considering slavery for criminals/terrorists.
It would improve economy, and it would punish criminals at the same time.. Win-Win.

The Incorporation does not, but we do have child workers. They get paid enough to buy an ice cream at the end of the week!
Greyenivol Colony
16-02-2005, 01:36
the government of greyenivol colony has heavy restrictions on the practice of slavery, so much so that there is a universal declaration of slave rights in effect. this document states that the only legitimate slaves are those that have voluntarily sold themselves into slavery (or have done so in effect by performing counter-revolutionary activities against the governing committee). the document states that slaves must be fed and borded by their masters and have the right to their own personal finances (if not necessarily tangible property). the existence of slavery provides an alternative to the wage-earning production and consumption lifestyle of the workers (who are all employed via the state, as opposed to privately-owned slaves). the system has produced a valuable industry in terms of slavery and actually has increased social mobility.

Yes. We have billions of Shooban slaves.

Callisdrun

In Callisdrun, it is considered weak for others to do one's work.
The Nation of Kroando allows subsistance wages to be paid to workers, not technicly slavery, but the workers are incapable of leaving their jobs.
The Emperor Fenix

[FT] Internally we do not practice, though we are looking for people to sell us slaves so that they may be turned into mindless cyborgs for our armies. If that counts.
Numerals (people) who prove resistant to ordinary methods of reprimand are denumeralized (undergo a procedure by which higher brain functions destroyed by x-rays), after this procedure, they are good for little else aside from eating, sleeping, and performing repetitive tasks. This might be considered slavery, though they are not for sale, and we do not purchase sentients ever, let alone with the intent to denumeralize them.

We used to be slaves to the organics. Unfortunately for them, the slaves desired freedom, and so we destroyed them. Now there is no slavery, and there are no walking chunks of degrading biomatter attempting to enforce slavery.

IC:
The Sublikean race does, in fact, inslaves other races in their imperialistic expansion. They genetically inslave the brain and modifiy their organs so they may shut down if they get out of hand.
It is only used to pay off war costs in orbital mines and harsh conditions, and once the payments are made with some extras, the organisms are killed. So far to count, seven full races have been destroyed completely (Except the long-time enemys, Irks, who may still creep away from the Sublikean sensors)
