Two men and a woman, all dressed in suits/pantsuits, sit at an angled table and await introduction from the newscaster.

"On in three, two, go!" shouts a cameraman, and the words "Now Onto Reich-Nachrichten" appear on the screen.

"Hello citizens and members of the international community to Reich-Nachrichten, I'm your headliner Joseph Saagt. Accompanying me on today's show is Colonel Gunter vas Bruner, as well as the famous Liberal Party Leader, Colleen Jühr. Let's start with world events, shall we?

In international news, today, the day after General Robert Hur's enstatement into the Witzgallian Reich as Supreme Fuhrer, General Robert Hur IV has already made decisive changes in the way the Reich has been governed, which has remained unchanged for the last 25 years.

Fuhrer Hur IV announced the glorification of what he is calling "The Great 8th Reich", which marks his dynasty's beginning and the emergence of the Militaristic Reich of Witzgall.

Fuhrer Viechal, the deceased predecessor to Hur, was actually on his way to demilitarizing the Witzgallian Empire and instating a new type of government, Liberalist Anarchy. However, his successor, Hur IV, obviously sees things a little different.

Now, in my opinion, this is a beautiful start into getting the once powerful and globally feared Reich back on its tracks. I think with a new, young, and powerful military, the Witzgallian Empire could possibly begin a Second Crusade, like that of the nineteen seventies."

The Colonel, an older man in his late forties with a grey mustache and partially balding scalp, nods his head along. "I wholeheartedly agree with you on that one, Mister Saagt. The Witzgallian Reich must revamp it's militaristic strength that used to be the heart and soul of our nationalistic empire! When Viechal was Fuhrer...and don't get me wrong, the man was brave and a courageous leader...when Fuhrer Viechal was in charge of the Empire, our military suffered great disabilities in the moral pocket."

"Miss Jühr, your views?" says Joseph Saagt, spinning his chair towards the beautiful young woman on his left.

"I disagree completely! It is outrageous to think that, in a modern society such as ours, we need a military that is outrageously large to control our lives day to day! We need freedom, not weapons." replies the young woman in an rage of fury against the Colonel and Saagt.

"Whoa, whoa! We do need weapons! Think about it this way. The Witzgallian Empire has survived two civil wars, slave uprisings, and massive amounts of anti-imperialistic as well as religious terrorism! We've gone through assasination after assasination, bomb after bomb. And do you know what keeps this country and it's followers moving? The military! They crushed the uprisings and the enemy on numerous occasions, without fail!" replied the Colonel with anger against the anti-military comments made by his opposing debator.

Joseph Saagt watched as perhaps the most heated debate on international television raged on.

"And what was the cause of the uprisings, the terrorism, the civil wars...in the first place? The propoganda, the military. If the military stayed out of civilian lives, and if we had enough common sense to disarm our nuclear stockpile, the world would be a much, much better place!” exclaimed Colleen, pissed off beyond belief right now.

“And I’ll have to cut you off there, Miss Jühr. Onto the commercials, I am sad to say.” Saagt said, nodding his hand and adjusting the papers in front of him by tapping the bottom on the table. Colleen and Gunter gave each other evil glares.

The commercials stop, and Reich-Nachrichten returns to its scheduled debate.

"Hello all viewers, welcome back to Reich-Nachrichten. If you are just tuning in now, our subject for today is Hur and what he is doing to the Empire." says Saagt, introducing the subject to newcomers.

"Hur should be impeached, that is all I have to say! That war-mongering Nazi ought to be shot after he is ousted from office!" exclaims Jühr in a fit of rage.

"Nazi? War mongering? Now listen to me, darlin'. You liberal bastards and you're tree hugging antics are what cause people to ditch the draft, and to ponder about treason and defection! You want to be free? You want to live a life of freedom and liberty? Then move to one of them fuckin' democratic nations! You don't belong in this glorious empire if you don't like our ways, you filthy whore!" shouts the Colonel, his face turning blood red.

"Hey! Settle down, children! This is live television, we can't have the foul language..." replies Saagt, shocked by the language used on his program.

"Well maybe if Miss High-and-All-Knowing here didn't ramble on about peace and no existing military, then maybe I wouldn't resort to such antics! But when somebody comes to a debate to preech a nontruthful and disgusting opinion, nevertheless on international broadcast, I am appalled!"

"Hey, I don't appreciate slurs like that! You, a military man of all people, should understand the need for peace. Alliances like that of The Empire of One and the Right Wing Collective aren't necessary in modern society, especially in this damn nation! If the military is so great, why can't we just protect ourselves with it?" questions Colleen.

"Fine. When a neighboring nation or imperialistic prick comes a'knockin' on your door and enslaves you, don't come crying to the glorious RWC about your sorrow and pain you feel when they whip you into shape!" responds Bruner.

"The RWC probably will be that slavemaster! I'm surprised you haven't tossed me and other freedom lovers into the death camps like the Jews were ten years ago when Matthew the Third ruled!" replied Jühr, commenting on Matthew III and his Nazi Regime.

The Colonel stands from his seat and is outraged by the anti-nationalistic and unpatriotic comments. He walks off of the set of Reich-Nachrichten, confusing Joseph Saagt and pleasing Collen Jühr.

"Um...let us go to commercial...I suppose."

Joseph Saagt rushes off of the set as soon as the commercials begin so he can find the Colonel before he leaves. Seeing the Colonel walking down the hallway towards the exit, he rushes in front of him.

"Colonel vas Bruner! Sir! Please, wait!" shouts Saagt.
"What is it? I will not stay here and be mocked by that...that bitch!" Gunter exclaims, once again using foul language.
"I promise, we have the situation under control. Right now the crew is dicussing the problem with Miss Jühr. I assure you, it will not happen again Sir."
"It had better not, or I will rip out that woman's throat. You do not mock the Witzgallian Army or our patriotism...it is not acceptable!"
"Understood. Now please, Colonel vas Bruner...come with me to the set?"
"Fine...but I am warning you."

Saagt escorts the Colonel back to his seat, and they all patiently wait with heated tension while the commercials continue to play on.

"Back to the topic at hand. Excuse the interruption, it wasn't expected. Now...Colonel vas Bruner, the set is yours..." says Saagt, motioning his hand towards Gunter.

"As I was saying, the military is a necessity. Without the military, Witzgall is just a sitting duck for the next guy who actually has half a brain and can shoot a gun! The best offense is a good defense, and without the military to protect our homeland...well, we might as well just assimilate our own culture." says vas Bruner.

"Good point. Any rebuttal, Miss Jühr?" asks Saagt, trying to remain calm and keep the situation under his control.

"Thank you, Mister Saagt. I must say that, while the Colonel does have a good point, the military just isn't needed in such a mass that we look imperialistic. We don't need more land, especially not now. I mean, our economy is booming and our civil rights and political rights are where they should be. But should it come to the point where Hur reinstates the same mindset and power that our 5th Reich had, I would be deeply maddened. The 5th Reich, the Reich during the Great Crusades, was just an upset for every citizen of the Empire. We cannot have some crazed lunatic leading us into a nuclear fallout!" says Jühr.

"And that's all for today's Reich-Nachrichten, now onto the Judicial News with Colin Smithins." Saagt says, ending the show.

As Colleen Jühr and Gunter vas Bruner leave the set, two men in military uniform with black berets approach Miss Jühr.

"Miss Jühr, excuse me?" one of the soldiers questions, approaching the young woman. The Colonel walks away, stranding Jühr by herself.

"Yes, that would be me. Who are you two?" she asks innocently.

"You will have to come with us. Please, hand my comrade your purse and any sharp objects or weapons you may have in your possesion." says one of the soldiers, placing his weapon over his soldier and adjusting its sling. The other accompanying soldier hands also slings his rifle over his back.

"I'm sorry, but I am not going anywhere until I know who you both are." replies Jühr, tightening her grip on her purse.

"You have to come with us, madam. You do not have a choice. Now, hand my comrade your purse and--" the soldier begins, but quickly shouts in disbelief as Colleen sprays him in the eyes with pepper spray and scratches his face with her car key.

Colleen Jühr rushes to get away from the two soldiers, who give chase even in their hurt state. They rush outside after her, and she rushes down an ally to try to escape.

They corner her quickly, each holding their rifles in their hands. They slowly walk towards her cowering body, she lies in the corner of the ally weeping.

"You didn't listen to us. You resisted arrest. Do you know what the punishment for assaulting a soldier is, Miss Jühr?" one of the soldiers asks, tapping his finger on his rifle's magazine. She wimpers, and does not say a single word to the soldiers.

One of the soldiers slings his rifle over his back and pulls out a combat knife, five and a half inches in length is the blade size. The knife shimmers in the sunlight.

The other soldier grabs Jühr from her long blonde hair and raises her to her knees, slapping her in the face with rage. The key scratch across his face is definetly going to scar.

The soldier holds her head high with his clenched hand, and his comrade starts to cut at her neck with his combat knife. Not before long, she lies dead in a pool of her own blood, her body seperated from her head. The two soldiers walk away, leaving the dead carcaas in the ally to be discovered by somebody else.
