President George threw his cigarette on the floor. A disgusting habit he thought to himself; inhaling tar and rat poison. The butt smoldered momentarially, then burned out in a shrivel of tobacco, leaving a small burn on the priceless palace marble.
He tried to rub out the burn with the sole of his heal, only to leave a larger rubber burn in place of the ash. He shook his head and read his message to the world.
An Open Letter To The World
In spite of the self-imposed iron curtain surrounding my nation of Grenval, news has reached my ears of the conquest of Roach-Busters. That nation was the first ally of Grenval. Relations ended many years ago in a near war. Grenval went into isolationism and has not been heard from since.
But no longer. It is the end of an era. The iron curtain is lifted!
I hereby declare my intentions. The nation of Roach-Busters shall be liberated by a Grenvali led force at all costs. Grenval will practice all the rules of an honorable war. However, an threat of nuclear weaponry, indeed a mere threat, will be meet with a full-scale nuclear launch.
I am dying. This shall be my testament to time. Roach-Busters shall be free again. Roach-Busters shall not suffer at the hand of imperialism as long as I am alive. I will not play war games. This is not a game for powerful nations to grab the land of weaker countries.
A full mobilization has begun. Grenval is now on DEFCON 2. There will be no negotiations. Five hundred B-2s are en-route to Roach-Busters as this message is broadcast. In mere hours, hell will rain down upon this earth.
