Conservatoria, CERWC -
Bombs were set off in the late hours of the evening, starting with the bombings of the treasury, state department, and guard posts near the palace. After bombing had ceased, a multitude of, what appeared to be, molotov cocktails were thrown over the fence of the palace. A band of militia men, led by ex-president James Folkner (exiled by Emperor Napoleon).

From what we understand so far, is that Folkner is holding the Royal Family hostage, King Jason Conners, Queen Heather Conners, Princess Sarah Conners, Prince Nathaniel Conners, Prince David Conners, and we also have word that they're holding hostage the Fiance of Prince Nathaniel, Rachel Laurens (daughter of Rising Tides' Head Ambassador).

Folkner has sent word that if the military comes within a mile of the house that he will execute them all. The attack came as the King and his family were preparing to leave to the Funeral of Czar Andropov of Derscon, also Arch-Chancellor of Greater Prussia.

King Conners held his daughter on his lap, the 10 year old was crying as the stout man in camo screamed at her father.

"So Jason, thought exile would keep me from getting to you? You forget I ran this country for a good 3 years before your little revolution...I have connections. Does it hurt knowing that members of your own Marine Elites betrayed you?" Folkner sneered and snapped at the young girl "Shut up with your crying...it won't help you."

Queen Heather stood up and smacked Folkner across his face with a firm slap "I'll have you watch what you say to my children. If you have something to say to Jason, then have the children go to their rooms but I will not sit here and allow you to belittle and scare my children."

Folkner stepped back for a second, he had forgotten that Heather was a very foward woman, having been a former captain in the AirForce, she could be very powerful. He turned his face back towards her and punched her "Listen bitch....I want you to suffer, and your fam..."

He was cut off by a sudden punch that hit him in the back of his head, from the oldest son, Prince Nathaniel "You are nothing more than a heathen pig aren't you? Hit women, scare little girls...you're a disgusting human being." He punched Folkner in the side very hard, causing Folkner to gasp for air.

Before Nathaniel could get off another punch, the sound of a wooden rifle stock smacking across his head sounded, and he collapsed to the floor. The guards snickered and kicked at his unconcious body.

King Jason stood up, his face red with fury "Next time you touch one of my children or my wife James...It will be your life." he growled menacingly. He walked over and helped his wife over to where he had been seated, and their daughter crawled into her moms' lap, and continued to cry quietly. He helped his son to his feet and sat him next to his fiance."

Jason turned his fierce glare to James "Instead of admitting that you were wrong, you decide to prove to me even more that you're wrong. You're pitiful." Jason turned and sat next to his son, grabbing some ice from the champagne bucket that was on the end table, and applying it to the back of his sons' head.

James smirked "You threaten me while I hold your familys' fate in my hands? You're a fool Jason...always have been..always will be. Guards have the Children sent to the library, and keep them under close watch...don't harm them as that will cost us negotiation."

The guards nodded and and Heather sent Sarah off with her older brother David, who also helped Rachel carry her fiance to the library.

King Kaius of Karrnath paced in his luxurious palace as his Minister for Foreign Affairs approached him.

"Your Majesty, we have been informed that Conservatoria's royal family has been captured and held hostage by a band of rogue militia."

"Really? This is a PR opportunity like nothing I've seen before... Offer them our full support. Send a detachment of the Plainshirt Ninja Corps."

"What if they turn down our aid, you Majesty?"

"Send the Ninjas anyway. The attention of their military and police forces will be diverted. They shouldn't notice the ninjas HALO landing outside of their cities. Then, they change into their civilian clothes, and wait for our signal to strike."

Minister of State Robert Fredericks sat at his desk his head in his hands "...betrayed by our own elite guard...how...sickening..." A worker walked into the room "Sir, we have a message from Karrnath...they're offering to send their Ninjas...or something, to retrieve the Royal Family......"

Fredericks' eyes darted up "Absolutely not...Folkner is not your basic everyday militia nutjob...he was once the President of this nation...a psychotic bastard, he knows this nation in and out....he'll know what's going on the moment we allow them to. Respectfully decline their offer for now, tell them we will call them if things go that way."

The Ridgian government was also betrayed by the Cardinalatia Guard, our most elite force. They were all executed, publicly. We recomend you do the same when you capture them. We offer our strength to the people of RWC. God Bless, and keep strong.

"Can you get into the palace security system?"
"Ya I think so, it might take me a little while thought."

A short time later
"I'm in."
Good can you put a video feed into the room where Folkner
is holding the royal family."
"Yes."


The TV/Computer screen flickers on.
"Greeting Folkner I'm Prince Sean of Theao. I wish to negotiate a release of the childern intially and later on the rest of the royals. The children have had nothing to do with your exile and I wish to secure thier release. Please inform me of the cost to do so."

ooc:i'm asssuming the palace is connected to the internet and they hacked in throught the internet, then the security system in the palace. It was done completely wirelessly no physical entrance at all.

OOC: Theao, I don't know how new you are to RPing, but you completely bypassed all security that Folkner had set up. He used to be President of the country, and has control of our Elite Military Unit. You can't just sneak into the palace and set up a direct feed...so for the sake of RP..please edit your post or I will have to ignore it. Nothing personal against you, but if it were that easy to get past the Marine Elites and Folkners' Militia...I would've marched the Army in.

Fredericks paced his office as his aide returned "It seems that Reichskamphen has place military units on our border...we have support from at least 2 of our Greater Prussian allies....."

"A sad day indeed..." Fredericks replied. He looked at his aide, a sullen look on his face "Bring this message to Folkner...we may have to comply with some demands...try to get a good look around and get any information..."

The Aide, Timothy Johnston, approached the gates, his hands in the air and a frightened look on his face. Two Marine Elites opened the gates and then shoved Johnston to his knees, searching him for weapons and bugs. "He's clean." came the gruff voice. They picked up Johnston and forced him to walk foward to the Palace. They brought him into the office where Folkner was with King Jason and Queen Heather, "Ahh...Fredericks has sent an aide...giving into demands?" he took the letter the Marine Elites had found on Johnston. "Money? Amnesty? You idiots act as if that's what I care about..I want back my power."
Folkner looked to the Marine Elites "Prepare the broadcast equipment..." he pointed at the cameras and the mixers.

After all the broadcast equipment was prepared Folkner pushed Johnston in front of the camera. "We're live in 3....2....1"

"Hello my constituents in RightWing Conspirators...to Minister Fredericks, and to Emperor Napoleon...I have held in this palace the entire Royal Family, the daughter of the Head Ambassador of Rising Tide, and a State Department Aide here...The State Department has conceeded to offering me money and amnesty for these actions...but that is simply not enough...So Fredericks...if I were to say...kill one of these captives would my reward rise? What if I kill two?" His cold eyes peered into the camera. "Bring in Princess Sarah..." he growled.

Heathers' gasps and sudden crying was heard "Not my daughter you bastard..not her."

Folkner spit in her direction, as the 10 year old daughter of King Jason Conners was brought into the room..."Is her life worth my return to powe Fredericks?!" he shoved her down, and put a pistol on the back of her head.

To Folkners' suprise...Sarah did not begin to cry, she simply began to pray "The Lord is my sheperd I shall not want, he make me to lie in green pastures, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...I shall fear no evil, for you are with me....." her voice trailed off as she began to silently cry.

President Lauchner and Ambassador Laurens entered Fredericks' office in a bustle. "How is Rachel, and the Royal Family? Any executions yet? Or threats?" they both asked in unison, their voices stricken with worry. They arrived just in time to watch Princess Sarah begin her quoting of scripture, and they stopped silent...their words escaped them.

OCC: Could you possibly provide us with a map of the building, so it woud be possible to coordinate a possible assault against the compund. Also, I'm curious is as to just how this Folkner person be able to know about the arrival of any foriegn forces outside of the compund?

ICC:

Because of the sensitivity of this situation, we will not deploy our own assets to the target area but we do offer our support in any way possible to the besieged RightWing Conspirator's government officals and or persons involved in this terrifying event. We would greatly appreciate it if you could possibly provide more information pertianing to the current situation at hand, so a more cohesive strategy may be formed and this situation does not grow anymore out of hand.

Formal Dances will send over one of its crack Special operations team. It'll be lead by Captain Tanya Davidson. It'll be a team of 25 people highly trained in this type of work.

The Colonial Army of Corneliu will like to send over 100 Green Berets to assist in this crisis.

Lachenberg- No Problem, pictures will be posted below. Folkner has control of the Marine Elites, which were, up until now, the Royal Familys' private guard and most elite of all military units. Folkner, previously being President (before the nation decided on a Monarchy/Represenative Republic), had friends and support from the unit. Folkner was thrown out of the country and region for attempting to take away freedom of religion, and speech. When confronted about his actions, he sought military actions against the region and against Conners (who had served as President for 2 terms, and was serving as Folkners' VP). Because of Folkners' connections inside, he has Marine Elites within the city, and around it. Not to mention he has a militia of about 50 men, he was a Colonel in the Marine Elites and is a skilled tactitian and warrior. Hope that cleared some things up.

He accepted all of their offers, but asked that they wait outside city limits, where some of the CERWC Army Green Berets had already set up camp covertly.

Folkner sneered at the man who had appeared on the television, "Looks like we have a hacker. The children, the parents, they all have something to do with my exile. This man is the cause of my downfall, and because of his actions his children must suffer. He brought this on his family...not me." He growled at Prince Sean, and then shoved Princess Sarah to the floor. "She won't die yet, I'm waiting to see what demands will be met."

Fredericks recieved yet another phone call, this time from the nation of Northern Colonies. "We would much appreciate it...we fear that a storming of the palace may be our last option... Please land your troops about 50 miles north of the city, there you will be greeted by our Green Berets along with other nations who have sent special forces. Thank you so much..."

The RWC Army saluted the Imperial Guard as the units passed through the countryside, making their way to the city limits of Conspiratoria.

Napoleon was with them this time. He was directly commanding the force.

"James Folkner, I would like to know what your demands would to to insure the release of David, Sarah, Nathaniel, and Rachel. Also what would be required to insure the release of Jason and Heather. We would give them asylum and ensure that they did not enter the nation of RightWing Conspirators. Please inform me of any other conditions that you would require to release them into my care."

Folkner chuckled "You, would be willing to take these dogs and let me run the country? You have no problem with a 'psycho' such as myself running such a large and powerful country as this? I want complete and total control of this countrys' military, and I want to be ruler again. Unless you can defeat this country...then you can't help."

"If I could aid in you getting complete military and political control of the nation what assurance would I get of the safety and assured delivery of the royal family? Also yes I would take them and no I don't have concerns about you ruling the county."

Folkner clasped his hands together "Unfortunately, complete control is not enough for me...my pride has been stripped, I have been shamed. The agony of that is more than anything you can offer me for the lives of these pitiful wastes of space...No deal." he growled and shut off the tv.

OOC: I would be skipping alot of the journey, so we get to the action first rather than be bored with the flight there.

IC: Lead Agent Alexander Ross sat in one of the two C-130 with the load of Special Forces troops, being flown to the RightWing Conspirators. Alex did not like the monarchy system much, but he always put his job before his politcal beliefs. They were nearing landing now, and his plane was to land first. It landed without a hitch and soon his was with the RC Green Berets.

OOC: We're not solely a monarchy, the king was actually selected by the people and wasn't entitled to his position through "Royalty". There is also a Parliament that is set up kinda like a Represenative Republic.

Colonel Samuel Dartek saluted the incoming soldiers from Northern Colonies "Welcome to RightWing Conspirators gentlemen, I am Army Colonel Samuel Dartek, your help and support is very appreciated. For now, we're scoping city limits and preparing to take the borders when given the signal from the Greater Prussian Emperor, Napoleon, we currently serve under him until this crisis has passed. We've already set up tent barracks for your men, they're over there. You'll find MRE's in there if you need them. Again I thank you for your involvement here, and I'll keep your OIC informed."

Our efforts to negotiate the release of the royal family having failed we wish to offer a company of special forces and an assulte company to aid in the rescue of the royal family. Please respond if you wish for these force to be sent to aid in the recovery of the royal family.

On board a plane, the 100 commandos promised to RightWing Conspirators was approaching their airspace.

This is Transport Plane 130H to RWC Traffic Control. We are carrying the 100 commandos that was promised. We are requesting landing clearance and transport to the site

Minister Fredericks gave the go ahead for the Cornelius Commandos to land in the small city airport of Gareb, where they could then catch a transport truck to the position of the gathering forces. He then recieved the telegram from Theao, and picked up the phone, "Your help would be appreciated, you may land at the Gareb airport to join the gathering forces. Thanks for your efforts and help."

After hanging up the phone with Prince Sean of Theao, his phone rang again it was a represenative of Thomasien offering to bomb the palace...with no threat to the captives, "I don't mean to sound rude...but bomb with planes, the place where our nations' leader and his family are being held by armed men who are willing to kill them....if you don't kill ALL the captors...the royal family will die. I'm sorry but do not send your bombers into our airspace." After that phone call, a press release came across his desk from Hitlerreich "Liquidate the royal family for crimes....crimes of what? Leading the people from the grips of a tyrranical madman? Pfft, must remember to send Hitlerreich a big fuck you when this is all over." he muttered and sighed, as the communications seemed to come to a halt. He opened the bar in his office and poured himself a whiskey sour and began drinking it "What a hell this has been...I need some antacids to go with this..." he shook his head...

Inside the palace Queen Heather held Sarah in her lap, cradling the young girl and shielding her from a frantic Folkner. "Napoleon's in the city Jason! What I would do to take him captive...he's got blame for my plight as well."

King Jason looked up, fatigue was settling over him "No James...you're the only with blame for your plight. You're the one who took the freedom of the citizens and crushed it in your own hands...by your own decision. You were offered the chance to fix it...and you reacted with violence and without reason, you're not fit to lead. Kill me James, you only know that it will lead to your death and the continual prosperity of our country. My death will only mark your death to come, you know Napoleon asked me what should be done with you after you were arrested...I didn't show you disdain, I didn't show you hatred...I asked for you to be shown mercy. I suppose I am foolish to believe that all the time I offer mercy it will be returned....but I am not a bad person, I do not have the faults you carry, and for that I am not a fool."

James looked up at Jason "You always had the smooth tounge of a diplomat Jason...perhaps I am to blame...but if it's how you say it is...whether you die or not...I will die. So why don't I take you with me?" he pointed his Glock at Jason and flicked the safety off "Why don't we find out if they will really mourn you in the streets? Why don't we find out what the nations reaction will be?" he aimed suddenly for Jasons' arm and shot him in the shoulder. Heather screamed, as did Sarah, and they both tried to leap toward Jason but were pushed back by guards. "You'll bleed to death Jason...I'll shoot you once in a non-lethal area every 3hrs until you die of blood loss..." he chuckled menacingly and his narrow black eyes watched as Heather and Sarah cried.

"Colonel Samuel Dartek I presume, I am Captain Wes Jamson of the 103 assulte company and I am Captian Josh Davin of the 21 stealth company.
The 103(The Wolverines) is ideal for very savage close fighting for example urban areas.
The 21(The Foxes) is ideal for rapid, stealth operations for example infiltrationand assassination.
Please inform us of where we may be best deployed."

OOC: hmm my sis's nation decided to join your region! Formal Dances. Don't see her on the map.

IC: The plane landed and the troops immediately departed the airport. The moved with all due haste to where the troops are gathering. When they arrived, the leader introduced himself.

"I am Captain Lankowski! I am reporting with my troops to assist in this crisis."

OOC: Well it's a bit outdated, some of the nations there don't exist, but not the ones closest to me. I haven't had the chance to add new nations/remove old nations.

Colonel Dartek greeted Captain Wes Jamson and Captain Lankowski. "Thank you for coming gentlemen, your help is much appreciated. As for now we're finalizing deployment plans, we're going to take the city and borders back, stealthily...and then it looks like we may infiltrate the palace. I only pray that this comes to a good end." he nodded and then directed the troops to where their tent barracks had been setup, and informed both Captains that he'd be in constant contact until deployment was finalized.

Alex smiled, remembering his army days.

"Hello, I'm Lead Agent Alexander Ross, NCFIB." He flashed his badge, then remembered he wasn't in Northern Colonies.

"Sorry," Alex replied. "Oh and this is Lt. Col. Peter Nguyen, commander of Special Forces in this operation."

He had a look at the deployment plans. He, as an experienced HRT member knew the dangers of storming the castle. The castle was big, and it could take a while to storm the whole building, and all the while the terrorists could just shoot the hostages. The castle could also be rigged with explosives, he thought.

"Colonel, while I'm aware negotations have broken down, but I must insist, that we try and re-establish negoations. The risks all storming the place is too great. When you have your elite military units guarding the place ready to shoot you, its really becomes a real risk," Alex said, hoping they would agree.

From The Office of the President

Having heard of the tragic news of the kidnap of your country's royal family and hostage-taking, the Republic would like to offer the services of the 1st Fast Insertion Team in aiding the release of the hostages and the capture of the hostage-takers. With your government's permission, the unit will be flow to your country where the unit will be under your command.

The President has called for a day of praying in the Republic that these hostages will be freed without blood-shed and the hostage-takers be captured.

In a secret location, special forces were practicing exercises storming a booby-trapped building as their leader Major Shapiro got a message on his mobile phone. He looked at the number and it was the Grand Inquisitor Lucius III. He finally answered it "Good morning your excellency, we have some work for our men?" and the Grand-master replied "There's a situation in our Prussian ally RightWing Conspirators. The entire royal family is under the control of a kidnapper. You might be needed to save the nation.".

Shapiro answered "We're ready. God is on our side and we will bring justice through the sword" and the call ended.

Another 3 hours had passed and now King Jason had another bullet wound in his opposite shoulder. He groaned, but not once did he let himself appear to be weak. Folkner spit at him "You put on this facade of strength Jason....why don't you just beg me for mercy and I'll bestow it, since you were so 'merciful' to me." Jason looked up at Folkner "I will not beg you for mercy, I will not give you the satisfaction of trying to play God."

Colonel Dartek gathered all the allied forces "We need 4 teams to sweep the city, and 2 teams to infiltrate the palace. The teams sweeping the city, will be involved with urban/suburban fighting. Do not expect to meet much resistance within the city, detain when possible and kill when neccessary. There are about 80 militia men and 100 Marine Elites within the city...and they are definately a strong force. Do not underestimate them. For those of us infiltrating the palace, we will be taking the south entrance...and for those of you that know about the south entrance...it's a heavily forested area on the side of a mountain. We will be scaling this to gain entrance to the garden in rear and will then began a sweep of the castle effectively, Team 1 will sweep first floor, Team 2 will sweep 2nd floor, and so on. To all of you, who came here as our allies, your presence is most appreciated...this country will not be able to repay this great debt of gratitude. Time is of the essence my friends, and we now embark. Please organize your team to which conflict points you will be taking on."

OOC: All of those who offered help...since I don't want to prolong this thread much longer as it could become boring and cause people to lose interest, the country has accepted your offers and if you could just pretend you were there for that speech. LOL, thanks.

I have hate Monarchy more, because they have more wealth the the common folk. I will send 36 SF/SOC/ RAF Guerrillas to help the terrorist and end the lives to make a free democracy for the people.

Commander Hankertin:Okay Troops we need to enter the palace of RightWing Conspirators and rescue the Princes and Princess first. After they are safe, we must rescue the king and queen. We need one of them alive!

Major Shapiro and his team of 25 men were all ready for action and had volunteered for the urban/suburban fighting as that was their expertise. Apart from the usual equipment, they have some "special" equipment which was not disclosed publically.

They were trained to fight hand-to-hand and could use any gun available. They were also expert swordsman and devoted their life to God so death was not scary option. Their ammo was not normal kind and some of it was illegal under UN provisions, but Jeruselem wasn't a UN member anyway.

OOC: Roman Republic - I didn't mean to call you a Monarchy...but thanks for completely you know avoiding the multiple guns that fired at you and suddenly jamming all my radar. You've completely bypassed all my technology and all my weaponry, without taking a single hit. For someone with such a large nation, I'd have figured you'd know the rules of RPing alot better...but I guessed wrong. So you can edit your posts to allow for the taking of damage and that you didn't just suddenly land and go about your business...or I can ignore you.

Colonel Dartek gave the final information to the troops "Move out! Those taking the suburbs and the inner city...make your way from East To West, and then head North. Those taking the palace...move fast and bring swift justice. Theao...land those paratroopers when you get the word...Fall out..."

He jumped off of his little box and jumped into a jeep, and positioned his cap correctly, grabbing his M16 and unclicking the safety. The jeep began to move out, he was to lead the troops taking the suburbs and the inner city, they were heading for the Eastern Suburbs of East Conservatoria.

Among the group, were member of the Alpha, Bravo and Charlie Chalks of the NC Omega Force (the elite of the NC army). They were charging directly to the castle. It was imerative that they got there ASAP.

A moment later, they were at the door of the castle. Captain Fogman, the leader of the team, knew the chances of having the royal family out alive was slim (he had been briefed by the NCFIB agent). But he knew he had to do it.

"Flashbang!" Pvt. Holliman Shouted.

The captain took cover as the private threw the flashbang into the castle, perfectly, like he was trained. 'Bang!' It went and at that moment, the Captain give the Move in! oder

They were very quick to move in. Inside there was 4 of the marine elites. However, even with the resistance put up, it was no match for the combined RightWing and Northern Colonies might. Captain Fogman fired his xm8 rifle, a weapon more superior than the M16 and the M4 rifles. He shot a guard dead, becoming the first soldier to shoot a enemy combatant dead in over 60 years.

After that, the units were silent went they talked about there plans to move to capture the prisonners alive. They were to seperate into their chalks and move stealthly into each room. They would secure the hostages' room first and elimiate any threats to their safety, however they should try to injure and arrest rather than shoot the suspects first. Afterwards, they would call Col. Dartek for extraction.

The Corneliuan Force moved with the unit that was going to take the palace. They grab their gear and boarded their transportation and began to move.

The Inquistional forces armed their CAR-15s then picked up some rocket launchers. They got into their jeeps and headed East to assist Colonel Dartek take Eastern Suburbs of East Conservatoria from the rebels. Some got into armour-plated humvees which would provide heavy machine fire for the column of vehicles.

Major Shapiro sharpened his sword short and smiled. He was ready to help for the forces of light and God against the cowardly kidnappers. He wanted some heads to roll.

The 14 members of the special forces(SF) and assault force(AF) jumped head first out of the helicopters. Having plummeted headfirst till the flip level they were flipped end-over-end to land on the roof with minimal sound. As they stripped off thier packs, all four special forcers crawled to the edge of the roof and activated thier spidersuits(enables them to crawl on walls as if it was flat ground) and climbed down the wall. (Half the force is going to each room) While the SF'ers were doing the wall trick the assault soldiers were attaching lines to the towers.

No, I didn't continue after the landing. Also no matter what you throw at me(I'm talking about bullets) My men will land with safety. It's part of the American Future Force Warrior program. My bad on picking up your guns. I should have jammed your radar and launched countermeasures before the paradrop. Aw well, my men have landed so we continue.

Colonel Dartek led the RWC forces through the streets of East Conservatoria, taking precise shots at Militia men all the while warning citizens to stay within their homes. Dartek leapt from the slow moving jeep and ran after a militia man..only to find it had been one of the soldiers he had trained for the Marine Elites. He threw the butt of his rifle into the mans face, and then drug his body to the truck that was picking up the rear of the military convoy, where all of the prisoners were being kept.

Inside the palace.....

Rachel, Nathaniel and David screamed as they heard the loud pop from downstairs, Nathaniel quickly pushed Rachel and David behind the desk within the room and dove behind it, before the militia men guarding them opened the door to begin firing, they were soon overrun by allied forces, and Nathaniel, David, and Rachel were safe. "Thank you so much...are my mother and father and sister all right?" asked Nathaniel trying to keep calm. "What nation are you from?"

Folkner growled as he heard the storming of the stairs and the busting of glass "Bring it on! You act as if I wasn't rea.." and his voice was cut off by the ringing in his ears, and having become suddenly blinded by the flashbang. He dove behind something, only to feel two bodies crash into him. He lost his breath as he hit the floor, tackled by 2 forces that were not RWC. Queen Heather refused to live Jasons' side, and Johnston stayed with Sarah as first aid was administered to King Jason, though he had lost some blood...he might pull through.

Fredericks sat in his office praying, and watching the castle...suddenly a screen flickered on and it was an RWC soldier "Sir, the castle is taken and all hostages are safe..." "Great job to all soldiers there...I want you to take names of each and every allied soldier involved in this operation...they're not going unnoticed or unawarded...." he sighed as the screen flicked off...he reached for his scotch and lit a cigar, he had run the country for 5 days...and was sick of it "I'm gettin out of politics..." he said as he shook his head.

The Corneliuan Troops broke into the palace. Following their colleagues from RightWing, they made their way to the hostages. They assisted in taking out some of the guards that were holding them and covered the rescuers.

When the fighting died down, the two medics that they had assisted in administering first aide and evacing the wounded.

NCFIB agent Alexander Ross breathed a sigh of relief. The hostages were safe. The king had a bullet wound to the shoulder (OOC: or was it chest?) and lost quite a bit of blood, but he would be fine. Around the TOC (Tactical Operations Command), everyone were in a celebratory or relieved mood. As they were, he remember the NC tradition on completing a mission.

"Pass the finest trout, mate!" He cried
"Ah, sir," replied one of the agents. "We ain't in Northern Colonies."
"Oh yea, thats right!" he replied

On the field Captain Fogman took of his 'Guardian' bulletproof vest and his helmet. He knew he was goning to bag a medal for that, but looking back, he realised he was the first people to shoot an enemy combatant dead in over 60 years. He didn't care. All he wanted now to get home and enjoy the NC trout, simply the best in the world.

Inquistional forces watched a empty office building where there were some snipers resisted being captured. Under the cover of might they moved into the first floor and easily disposed of some rather tired Marines who had been assigned to stop them getting into the building.

They didn't want to use the elevator, but a strange plan. They hacked into the building control system and took control of elevators. In the elevator, they attached a remotely controlled MP3 player into the lift. They zapped the lights and the snipers were all the dark.

Major Shapiro controlled the lift to move to the first floor while his teammates used the stairs. The lift opened and the sound of gunfire started. Startled rebels turned their attention to the lift and returned fire, then the Inquisitional forces burst out of the stairwell using their night sights to pick off the distracted rebels if found.

There was one sniper on the roof left on the roof. It was going to be hard to get rid of him as there was only one door leading to the roof. They attached a bomb to the door, and blew it open open sending it flying. The sniper sprayed the stairwell with fire and looked. No one. He waited and waited. An Inquisitional sniper on another building sighted him and took out him out where he stood.

Meanwhile a jeep full of rebels tried to escape from the garage of another building and they put down covering fire to fend of attacks when they saw anyone on the street with a uniform. An Inquisitional hiding in behind a burning car popped up and fired a rocket. The jeep exploded and crashed into a park.

A wounded Inquisitional had been trapped in a small apartment with some rebels outside. He had got lost after an ambush and his teammates were still trying to locate him and he managed to get into the next floor as he was chased doggedly. Some rebels shot the lock on the door and forced it open. His gun was empty, so drew his sword and stayed near the door and waited. Two rebels burst in with covering fire and he took a few bullets. It didn't stop him as he skewered two rebels with his sword.

He sat down and waited to die. Some familiar faces turned up and looked the two bodies. "You sure make a mess!" they laughed. He smiled "I know, but help me get up. I've got some heavy metal in me" then fainted.

40mm isn't a bullet, its a fucking artillery shell, like a grenade lauched from a M203. In any case, if they don't get killed by the bullet, they will get killed flying into a wall.

40mm is huge for a human. Say the warhead/bullet was just lead with no explosive, it would put a very large hole in you and anything behind you. Suppose the body armor did stop the 40 mm, then the wearer would have broken bones due to impact shock.

That's right, but the US Future Force Warrior Program is working to prevent the impact shock of a 40mm. But I have to research it more to get more info. It's nanotech and military tatics that prevent deaths. A 40mm will just push the soldier back because it's physics and no one can mess with science.
