The Upper Congo

Today President Tolts asked Parliament to increase the value of exports to help pay off our debt that we accumelated during the Guffingford-Upper Congo war. The following materials prices have been increased *dont know the prices but its not that much of a change*

Raw Materials:

Iron
Gold
Bronze
Oil & Fuel
Timber

Foodstuffs:

Grapes
Apples
Pears
Corn
Carrots

OOC: Our prices won't really affect trade. We need to pay off our £2 billion debt that we got fighting against Guffingford. Any donations would be accepted. :)

Due to the lack of significant data to make valid judgements, we are unable to form a judgement based on the provided data which is insufficient for such a purpose.

(I don't mean to be picky, but I'm not sure you can class bronze as a raw material. Being -as an alloy- that it comes out of the ground as copper, tin, and zinc (and maybe some other gubbins, I forget). I don't know if you care, really :)
Can't say much in character- we're from a different reality and aren't involved in trade with UC anyway. Carry on.)

OOC: If you could say about how much each item (or at least the "raw" materials since yes, bronze is not raw) is than I could open relations. The United Osean States is very wealthy and would like to purchase some gold.

Trade Agreement with The Upper Congo and Truitt.

The latter agrees to buy an undisclosed amount of gold with the UC Republic. Formost they must agree to the following terms before any gold at an undisclosed price could be shipped.

1. The Republic of The Upper Congo shall not take any responsibility for any ships, airplanes or people lost under any circumstances.

2. The buyer must agree to pay interest for the goods over a 4 year period. The price for any goods increases by 2% every year.

3. The buyer must say how many tons of the goods they require, how much they are willing to pay, if they need monthly or yearly shippings and if they prefer them to be flown in or shipped inside a freighter.

4. Any military, weather, civilian or government interference with the shippings shall be noted and if they go on the agreement will be canceled and the civilians of the country involved will be banned flying over our airspace, visiting our country and living in our nation.

If you object to any of these terms please state so.

OOC: Will you trade us another type of material *military equipment, clothing, foodstuffs* or will it be cash up front? Either would be appreciated.

We are unsure the size of the deposits, and are trying to make a profit, so we ask you to keep this in mind. We are also helping the economy of the Upper Congo by employing several thousand unemployed men, which will lower your unemployment rate. We intend on setting up three small mining towns, which will undoubtably help your countrys poverty rate. It is in our plans to construct a railroad, in which we can transport our materials, and even rent it to transportation companies in the Upper Congo.

With this in mind, we would like to leave the price of the deposits up to you, and remind you that this land is still totally under your control, as it is your country.

OOC: Cant you see that both of you have no idea about the prices? Some research could be good but anyway...

IC: VP finds that trade with TUC at high prices from Which TUC would benefit from, enabling them to produce more weapons and improve their military, is unacceptable, we find that TUC is a dangerous nation, and several countries would agree with this.

The price it cost Guffingford for the war should be paid by TUC, and unless we see this happeneing we condemn all who trade freely with TUC and its government.
