War Crimes Conference

OOC: All those who signed up this is where it's going to take place.
IC:
[Macabea City]
The palace was ready, all the rooms had been emptied and everything cleaned for the representatives and leaders who were to show up for the conference. Guards had been paid overtime to make sure nothing happened, especially against the representative Fabus would send, knowing full well the hatred the Macabee people felt against Fabus and his cronies. No matter, the military was fully disciplined and would disallow anything illegally committed against any of the people coming to Empire for the conference.

There are 15 seats - 12 who are on the list, one who tagged it to respond later, another which I think I forgot to add to the list, and one just in case I missed anybody else.
You can tag and watch by the RP is closed to those who signed up... you guys can RP coming in, or whatever you want, or you can just start talking and assume everyone arrived - either way is fine by me.

Roger had decided to send the most liberal man he knew, well the most liberal man he knew that he also knew was qualified, one of his older brothers, Henry Fabus. Henry was a member of a known socialist party which had been banned many years back. Granted he was a racist, but he wasn't an overbearing elitist who taxed peasants. Indeed he refused to take feudal taxes from those who lived on lands he had domain over.
Henry was also frowned upon for being married to a woman who was slightly less than 15/16ths white, thus she she was about 1-2% under the legal cut-off to be classed as white. Granted the other remaining percentage was neither negro nor jew (the types most frowned on), it was native indian (one of the most accepted types). What was even more frowned upon with his wife was that she was a card carrying communist and was a former government operative for a communist nation.
That didn't bother Henry though, he loved her and she loved him, so neither of them really cared too much what some backwater hick farmers in Mississippi thought of them. One thing Henry was, was well protected, he had a small army of about 5,000 security guards to cover his estate.
Henry and Zeltzin were currently in his private plane, about to enter Macabee airspace. They were radioing ahead, "Requesting permission to enter your nation and land for the conference..."

The control tower quickly replied, "This is alpha-1, you've been confirmed. Runway four of the international airport is indeed open. Repeat, runway four is open for your arrival. Welcome to the Empire."

Henry's pilot replied, "Thank you comrade... We are on our way." as he guided the plane in for the landing.
Henry's crew was basically like him, political oddities, they were staunch Mississippian nationalists, but at the same time they were leftists economically and on many social matters. The term used in Mississippi to describe their sort varied from the polite "National Populists" to the derogatory, "Red bastard", "Working class trash", "Champagne communist", "Limousine liberal", "Scotch socialists", in reference to the fact most National Populists were rather upper class folks.
The plane then touched down gently on the runway and shortly after it came to a halt, Henry radioed the tower again, “Okay, we’re here, which way to the conference?” he asked, as his Cadillac was being unloaded from the cargo hold of the plane.

The shinny black Audi A8 rolled on the tarmac of the airport, michellin wheels making slick headway. It parked itself alongside the aircraft and the driver stepped out in a slick black suit waiting for the representatives to step out. Once in he would drive them to their rooms in the Imperial Palace where several documents would be waiting for them explaining the night of the event and where the event was. Moreover, this would be their personal A8.

Henry shook his head, politely declining the offer, "Thanks for the offer, but if it's okay... I have my Cadillac with me, and Zeltzin just loves driving it, so I'm going to let her drive her and I to the hotel if it's okay..."

Once at the hotel, Henry and Zeltzin got out of their car, had a valet park it, and then they walked around wondering what to do next. Henry tapped one of the men on the shoulder and asked, “Hey, what should we do now?” he asked.

OOC: Wait for the others I guess... you can make your way to the Castle of Ingerdom which is just outside the city and where the meeting will be held - takes about thirty minutes to drive if you take the underground highway which was built for the elite of the country to use back around 1856 (by the old Empire, before the one hundred year civil war which led to the rise of the Macabee Dynasty) and recently upgraded. Once at the castle of Ingerdom you can fiddle around, eat for free, smoke a cigar, whatever you want until most of the others come.

"This is Alpha-1. Your request to land is affirmed. Runway 1 is now open. I repeat, runway 1 is free for landing. You will be escorted in your own personal A8 once you arrive to the palace where you will get a handful of documents. You may rest or you may go straight to Ingerdom Castle."

The plane landed and out stepped Antony Cheser. A fairly young delegate, but one whom has been rising fast within middle management. For him this conference could be a big boost in his career, or the end of it.
Standing on the tarmac he sees the Audi A8, pausing only for the chauffer to open the door he steps inside saying, “Off we go, to the castle if you will, rested enough on the plane.”
Guffingford
13-02-2005, 22:18
The Guffingfordii government learjet made a perfect touchdown on the Macabae international airport. When the airplane came to a half the staircase was rode to the door and James Frwyhn stepped out, an experienced diplomat and strategist. Notorious and linked with mass executions in Holy Panooly he was a man who enjoyed great respect - in Guffingford.
He was driven in a limousine to the Conference Hall after checking in the castle.
Due to sever damage to the airline industry, Minister Ulanyov's chosen diplomat, minority leader Heinric Pushka, was forced to take ship to Macabea. However, his arival was still provided for expediantly, arriving on time at the Castle of Ingerdom via a private car.
Not having briefed entirely on the situation, Pushka was considerably nervous entering the Castle, a single armed escort follwoing behind him. He was ushered in without incident, and began looking around to greet other guests. Spotting another man looking around like him, though considerably better dressed (Henery Fabus), Pushka stepped over and with a slight bow proceeded with introducing himself as, "Heinric Pushka, Leader of the Democratic socialist Party and Diplomat of the United Socialist States of Novikov."

Henry smiled at the man, extending his hand out to shake as he said, "A pleasure and honor to meet you sir, Henry Fabus, from the Mississippian Federation..."
He then motioned at his wife, adding, "And this here is my wife, Zeltzin. Originally from the ANL in Mexico."
Pushka took the man's hand an gave it a vigorous shake. "I've heard much about you, sir. And doubtless to say the Fabus family needs little introduction."
Letting go of Henery's arm, Pushka turned to Zeltzin. "Ma'am." A quick bow, and then Pushka ws back to business. "Mr. Fabus, I am very interested in the events that have led up to this confrence, as are my superiors. Perhaps if you could inform me of the situation. I regret to say that civil violence has prevented Novikov from taking a place on the international stage until recently."

The ship flew majestically into the runway. Jason and his fellow colleagues exited the ship and moved down. They were in simple clothes of the Dracuns. Since much had been lost in the Nuclear assault, Jason did not wish to take anything more from the people.
He exited the plane and walked down and politely refused the ride.
"A taxi will be fine, if you can just send one here to pick us up" He said
Pervertium
14-02-2005, 00:26
After careful preparations, Charles Norton, Pervertium's representative, arrived at Macabee International Airport on time and without any delay. After validating himself, he was driven to the Conference hall through a limo.
He arrived just on time, accompanied by a small but efficient armed guard as he was admitted through the entrance. Although not having been entirely informed of what will take place, Norton nevertheless took his seat and patiently waited for the conference to begin, his manner lackadaisical and his arms crossed.

OOC: I'll just assume landing :)
IC:
A huge black converted 'Doombringer' noisely cut through the crisp air, heading towards the Macabean Airport, where the Guild Envoy had been detailed to land for the conference. The huge black plane skidded slightly on the tarmac as it touched down, the high ornate painted crosses on it's side and the Wolves Head indicated it was from the Guilds. Who else had jet black planes...
The plane skidded to an impretue halt at the end of the runway and began a slow taxi towards the stand, where it was to disembark it's passengers.
Once, the plane was in place in the stands and everything secured, the door thunked back revealing the Guild party. Three smartly dressed Guild troopers came out at front carrying only small arms required by the Guild Diplomat service. Their collar tabs and epaulettes betrayed that they were Knights of Saint Peter... and experienced ones too, all three had the Sydney Shield on their cuff betraying their experience with the Guild Legions in that hellish battle with the Bob-Bobian Rebels.
A black haired woman, wearing a silk dress covered over by a long fur jacket came out, an ornate silver cross dangled from her neck displaying her faith.
She smiled at her greeting party and said;
My regards from the Emperor, I am Flavia Victates, I am here for your conference on War Crimes
The Farminan government jet hit the tarmac with an almighty thud.
“That isn’t how it is supposed to go,” thought the delegate.
He unfastened his belt and stop up.
The flight crew was already running around moving the representative’s things off the plane.
The representative moved into a small cubicle where his fine garments were already waiting.
A few minutes later he emerged, dressed in his finery and moved down towards the exit.
He proceeded down the jets steps, into the open. His trousers were perfectly black, his jacket was also such. His shirt could be seen, a deep silky blue, with a burgundy tie hanging tightly from around his next. Over top he wore a dark blue trench coat, with a matching blue hat perched on his head. His shirt collar was where the real detail lay, embodied on each side was the golden circle. That meant he was a chancellor, member of the elected councils.
Two Farminan guards followed the Lesser Chancellor, but he did not expect them to get far. Upon finding what he believed to be a welcoming committee, the Farminan threw out his hand and said, “I don’t think we ever thanked our Macabee friends for scuttling the Nowhere Placan fleet. I’m Lesser Chancellor Brie from Farmina, and I assume you’re the welcoming committee. So where are we off to.”

Henry beckoned for the man to follow him to a more private corner of the room, away from all the other guests, so they could talk more freely. After they got over there, he said, "Yes, there are problems in the world between the forces of communism and the forces of anti-communism, the communists struck first, and we are responding. I may very well lean far to the left, but Mississippi comes first and before ideology, defending her that is."
Pushka followed Henry, listening to him explain the struggle against communist powers. "My friend," Pushka responded calmly on que. "We understand the struggle between leftist and rightist ideologies quite well. Perhaps the only diffrence is that, in the case of Novikov, the leftists suceeded. Now a socialist government, including my minority party, is regarded as in the best interests of Novikov; it is the Capatalists who are facing war trials."
A brief pause adn then he continued. "Perhaps it is as I have said before. Politics is simply a matter of public perception in a democracy, public imperception in a dictatorship." He laughed softly. "Tell me. What does your government do in response to this problem of perception?"

Quietly entering the room, his well-polished wingtips clacking upon the floor, he surveys the scene.
Watching the different activities Antony Cheser slowly circles the room, his simple closed-vested black business suit, broken only by a single red streak down the right sleeve, rustling ever so slightly.

Henry shrugged a bit, being honest, "I don't know right now, you might ask Roger about that though, being the Czar, he'd probably have something to say about it..."
Pushka dismissed the issue without further thought. A simply mumbled "Very well," was all he needed. He shouched down into an armchair and was presently presented with an assortment of bottles. Choosing one, he poured himself a drink and leaned back, sipping cooly on the vodka of hsi choice, his arm stretch out, beckoning to the man across the room (Antony Cheser).

"Ah, who have we here, I am Antony Cheser, Mikosolf Corporation, and whom might you be?" his eyes dancing from the man's face to the insignia and back again.
"To be honest, I am only here because the IADF requested we send a deligate. I have little interest in a human rights confrence. Not after what I've seen during the war."
Pushka turned to the new arival. "Pushka, Diplomat from Novikov, Representitive of the IADF." He took the new man's hand, smiling. "Your name, my friend?"

Jonach I decided to attend the conferece directly and thusly he arrived at the castle soon enough to meet most of the representatives of other governments already at home. He needed no regal introduction, no flags, however, he wore his full military uniform from the old Civil War days, with the huge PX medal (Christos) on his collar, just like the old Iron Crosses of the Germanic Empires, including the oak leaves, swords, and diamonds.

Flavia sat back watching the delegates take their seats or just argueing over the conception of Human Rights.
She smiled... after all anyone with any kind of Philiosophical background knew that the conception of Human Rights was inherently flawed and that it was based only on Social Moralisms and nothing else...
This would be most entertaining she decided... time to watch the great and good argue over meaningless rules for war, which she knew the Guilds was currently breaking the world over and would continue to do so.
