Dracun imperium

With the nuclear holocaust that happened in Dracun the survivors have moved from their former home to the Island Paradise of Neo-Dracun. They have named themselves The Dracun Remnant and are now in need of a new leader. The people quickly nominated 3 people of different parties Here are their descriptions
People's Party WINNER
Party's Description: The people's party is meant for the people. They are focused on anything that could improve the people's lives. When it comes to Military issues they focus more on Defense. They also carry over 30% of the expected vote
Party's Nominee: Jason Manstara
Age: 23
Gender: Male

Biography: Jason grew up in the Imperial City, and soon became a senator under Desciver's reign. He recognized instantly that he was a threat to the semi-demacracy that was Dracun Imperium. He opposed Desciver at every turn and hoped to bring him down. He was however shocked that even Desciver would nuke his own people. He promised he would rally his people to a new life and is the current leader until the elections.
Issues:
Gun Control: Should be very strict and only issued to our armed forces and security forces.
Military: Defense is more important
Education: Is necessary to our existence
Poverty: Should be stopped at all costs
Plans for the future: Right now all we can focus on is the rebuilding of our great nation. Until then nothing else matters. Yet when the time comes we will firmly establish ourselves in the world as a nation of virtues and kindness
Foreign Party
Party's Description: The party meant to help rebuild Dracun's Foreign relations that were damaged during the reign of Desciver. They are mainly diplomats and believe in doplomacy. They carry 20% of the vote.
Party's Nominee: Drake Carter

Biography: Drake grew up in the diplomatic corps of the White Clan, when almost 45% of his clan was executed he hid which later saved his life. When the nuclear assault began he was protected by his hidden barrier. He like Jason promised that they would change things and make Dracun well known in a good way.
Issues:
Gun Control: I feel that guns should be declared illegal except for our armed forces and certain groups.
Military: Should be kept down, a big military only promotes more violence
Education: Is a high priority
Poverty: Most people are there for a reason and should learn from their mistakes
Plans for the future: I hope to firmly establish Dracun as a Diplomatic power and re establish ties with other nations. It is essential to our rebuilding.

Party's description: The Military Party is firmly established on protecting Dracun through military power. Favoring Preemptive strikes, they will attack anyone they see as a threat to the security of the Dracun People.
