The assaination that killed my king.

The President smiled grimly into the camera, broadcasting throughout the world.

'My fellow compatriots, today the Leader of the Rebeled Elves nation, King Tuniyt III was assassinated, in the middle of The Republic's Embassy during a dinner held at the Embassy. This transgression of this nation's property will not go unpunished. Should we suspect any nation of commiting this vile and uncomprehensible act, the full weight of the Republic's military and intelligence forces will be deployed against said country(s).
The nation of Rebeled Elves is in our thoughts tonight. Good night'

i dont mind at all but you and skinny and i need to vote on who did it tho.I think it was Skinny's guards.

Alright then, Ill go with Skinny87's Guards since most ambassadors do not know how to successfully assassinate a figure.

The investigators were already at the site.The kings body wasnt there though, it was sent home for a proper burial.The new King is there as well with 100 armed guards.

Dowland City Embassy

The entire Embassy had been sealed off and shut-down as soon as the King had been assassinated. Troops swarmed all over the area and put up barricades and set up blockades to try and contain the assassin, or in deed assassins.

A small convoy sped across the dark tarmac and screeched to a halt just outside the main hall where the King had been killed. Three of the four vehicles were military vehicles, assigned to guard the Military Investigation team inside the fourth vehicle. As it began to rain slowly, the team exited the van they had come in and began a methodical sweep of the area before them. In charge of the unit was Colonel Grif Harker, recently promoted to the head of the team and eager to start the case.

Harker walked over to where the King's corpse had been before being carted away by the Paramedics to the Morgue. A dark stain had spread across the tarmac, and Harker knelt down next to the stain and looked at it for a moment. Then, he turned around, looking for a possible area the shooter could have fired from.

The Countryside of Rebeled Elves


As the freezing encapuslation of night gaze way to the warm sunlight of the dawn, a small shack nestled within the woods was already teeming with life as three figures prepared themselves for the day ahead.

For the past 3 weeks, they had gone from place to place, usually setting up camp in abandoned areas, making sure they didnt come into contact with the local authorities. After all, they were the ones who killed King Tuniyt III.

They had planned the assassination weeks in advance, constantly refining their plans on how to effectivley kill the King and slip away before the enemy knew what happened. Of course, if they actually pulled it off their employer would pay them quite a handsome sum of 20 Million American Dollars; a deal they certianly could not resist.

After purchasing guard uniforms off a drunk group of soilders and purchasing a PSG-90 and plenty of ammunition from a third-party source, these men were ready for the job. Prentending to be guards patrolling the outside perimeter of the King's dining area, they waited for the other guards to go off for their usual 7:30 tea break, while glancing at the King now dining below. Once the guards left, 2 of the men watched for other guards, while the one remianing figure positioned himself and calmly squeezed the trigger of the PSG-90 three times. Scaling the small stone wall and barreling into the a nearby alleyway, they discarded their stolen uniforms and put on normal civilian's clothing. Due to the fact that a crowd of horrified onlookers now crowded the area, the men were able to make a flawless escape into the fading light.

Now the only thing left to do was to leave the country and collect their money. Of course, this task would be quite difficult, since half of the country was on the look out for them, but it would be possible. After all, they had the backing of one of the largest companies in the world.

Packing up their things and cleaning the surrounding area around the shack, they started treking east across the vast mountians of the area; their destination: Lachenburg.

OOC: This assassination was in my nation, right?

IC: Harker looked around and saw a small alley-way which led into the rest of Dowland City and seemed well-positioned to take a shot at the King as he was dining in the Embassy. Signalling to the rest of his team, he walked over to the alley-way. Although the Embassy had by now been sealed off, the crowds of onlookers that had gathered immediately after the shooting had complicated matters somewhat.

However, as he headed into the alley-way, his flash-light picked up several shell-casings. Using tweezers, Harker picked them up and placed them in evidence bags. They could be traced later; hopefully they would show which country they had been purchased in. Further into the alley-way, three discarded Embassy Guard Uniforms were piled in a heap. Shouting to his team, Harker had them bagged and tagged. At last, their first break; hopefully DNA results would be able to trace the assassins

Though the Republic sympathises with the fact that you feel an overwhelming need to find the assassin's of your monarch, by no means will any foreign military units be allowed within this nation's borders. However your Investigation team is by all means welcomed; from the latest reports from the team it appears as though the assassin's trail is being swiftly followed.
