Element Name: Bambim (Bambi - im)
Today is a proud day for Turetel as a joint project between Scientist and the Defense Dept. (which actually concluded well over a year ago) has produced a new, very powerful metal, gas, and liquid combination element that is highly stable and has "amazing" abilities.
The element itself has three very stable stages, either gas, liquid, or solid (and sometimes a combination of the two) depending on the tempature attained at.
In its liquid stage it can be used for patients that need therapy that requires radiation, drinking this makes the body immune to the harmful effects of radiation by blocking it out in most cells that don't need it. Its effect last only 3-7 hours per cup (1/100th material involved per cup).
In its solid stage it can be used to incase any material, most notably would be Uranium and other radioactive materials. This helps keep Nuclear materials safe under all circumstances, but also drastically cuts the half-life of the nuclear weapon down, sometimes to as low as 5 minutes for effective nuclear ability. It is also a very light metal (only weighing 1/120th of a lb per sq. Turetelian micrometer, or 1/10th per sq. inch) and useful in everyday materials.
In its gaseous form/state it usually can take the form of rays that have the ability to cancel out radiation and "radioactive" materials. Though it has been noted that it effectively increases the range of the initial blast by 1/5 of its normal strength. This has been tested and is useful for nulling a "dirty" bomb and if failing to nullify it can greatly reduce the effective nuclear life of the projected target.
*This material is also relatively unexpensive to make, but that estimate is not allowed to be seen by the outside world.
**Bambim rays act to null effects of dirty bombs by canceling out certain electrons that are vital to the nuclear materials ability to substain itself. And by canceling out I mean, using a Covalent connection(s) to circuit the electrons through even the thickest metals and connecting them to H20 and O particles in the air, or Nitrogen if it is in the air.
***Please note that when drank/drunk it is only supposed to be 1/100th of the combine liquids involved, it is recommended to be taken with a quick does of water or combination of water and a small amount of radiation (1/1,000,000th) so that the material may attach onto that and be counted as a medicial material by your nerval system.
