Macabees To Host Conference over War Crimes
The Macabees
13-02-2005, 01:04
Emperor Jonach I has expressed wishes for the leaders, or representatives, from the following nations to come to Macabea City, set up residence in the Imperial Palace (until the end of the conference) and discuss war crimes, and most importantly what to do with captured Fabian war criminals (OOC: If they are indeed captures - I think I'll be capturing at least one, even if I don't win the war):
AutoMagFreek (OOC: An obvious candidate for those who understand the AMF/DA leadership relationship)
of course all IADF allies who wish to come
Guffingford
Anybody else who wishes to come may come if they wish - although we reserve the right to turn back any leaders who we do not want at said conference.
OOC: Cheap post..but gets the point across... conference to be held when everyone gets here... so, maybe tomorrow?

Rebeled Elves

does this mean you want to observe what happens then tell it to ur leader then deploy an attack on the maccabees?
The Macabees
13-02-2005, 01:54
Lol, no.. that's taking it a bit to the extreme... Whittier is confirmed as an observer...
NOTE: I think he just wants to know what's going on in there and technically ICly know the outcome but not have the responsibility of having to post.

OOC: That is correct. Plus my own nations IC reputation for developing international accords on such things would make it natural for them to be interested in how this turns out. Its a way to encourage the participants to do something, without actually being involved involved. If that makes sense.

"I would like to know, if by the theories to be presented in this conference, would your nation consider me a war criminal... I have after all, as my first official act upon being made Czar in the later part of 2004, granted general amnesty to all political prisoners in the gulag system established by the previous government. I then also shut down all the gulags. But I have heard rumors certain nations consider me a war criminal. What is it?"

Official Response:
As of now there is no evidence that supports a conclusion that your administration in fact supports crimes of war. However, there are rumors that your nation, and especially allied nations, have partaken in criminal acts. Thusly, this conference is designed to take that into eventuality.

"I suppose we would like to attend, if we are assured that our delegation will not be detained or harmed in any manner. Given the current state of relations between our nations, we feel we must have these assurances. We feel that since a number of nations in the world are confused about the current regime's record on human rights and crime and punishment, we ought to attend to set straight any misconceptions and false notions about our nation."

Roger Fabus is welcomed to attend, albeit if at war with the Macabees... a promise of non-belligerence in this conference is given, however, the war will continue nonetheless.

OOC: If someone would give me a breakdown of events ut until now (like why we're having a warcrimes confrence in the first place) I'd be most grateful.

OOC: The thread I put up above is the actual conference..people are just arriving so if you want to get in on it then the time is ripe. It's just a war crime conference to discuss war crimes and how to deal with them - but I'm goin to use it to spin off a Fabus warcrime due to my war with Kahta.

Same as Novikov, the thread to the actual conference is readied, so you can RP your delegate going now if you'd like.
