With the current call for offensive operations against Communist and Catholics, Communist Louisiana has no option but to cut all ties with our neighboring nation of VoteEarly.

Also affected by this new defensive change will be our open lands policies towards VoteEarly. The areas affected by this will be:

-Closing of the Mississippi River to all VoteEarly ships and all allies of VoteEarly
-Closing of the Achafalya River to all VoteEarly ships and all allies of VoteEarly
-Closing of the Pearl River to VoteEarly ships and all allies of VoteEarly
-Arrest and detainment of all citizens of VoteEarly in all Communist Louisiana territories
-Closing of Communist Louisiana airspace to all VoteEarly aircraft as well as allies of VoteEarly

If more actions are taken by VoteEarly, more actions will be taken by Communist Louisiana. Our new policies will be highly enforced by Communist Louisiana's military. If any of our policies are broken by VoteEarly ships or aircraft, orders from the government of Communist Louisiana will be shoot-to-kill.

We would also like to take this opportunity to allow all nations in the IADF to open military bases along the Mississippi River, Pearl River, and all other border stations in Communist Louisiana. We may move to make these military bases permanate but as of now, they are seen as temporary. Also all ports in the Caribbean under the control of Communist Louisiana are open to all IADF nations. We hope our new found allies will take this opportunity we have opened for them. This is the first time in history Communist Louisiana will allow foreign troops into Communist Louisiana.

The Kingdom of Nascent, in response to the conflict which seems to be brewing in close proximity to our borders, has decided to close all ports of Nascent to any armed ships flying the flag of any nation other than those of the IADF nations. However, during this time the majority of ports shall remain open to all commercial shipping. Also, all commercial flights passing through Nascentian airspace will be escorted by the Nascentian Air Force. Any military aircraft that enters our airspace will be given one warning to shift their course and to leave our airspace, or they will be fired apon.

Also, any nation of the IADF may land troops in Nascent, but these troops may not leave the port cities, and no attacks may be staged from with in Nascent. No air based attacks will be allowed to be staged from within our borders as well.

Nascent would like to remain neutral in this conflict, but if any nation knowingly breaks our neutrality we will not hesitate to retaliate. Therefore all bases inside Nascent will stay on alert until the situation in the Americas cools down considerably.

With VoteEarly's war against Catholicism, the Kingdom of Nascent must also close its borders to all citizens of VoteEarly and its allies in this venture. All citizens that may be inside our borders will be advised to leave immediately or face arrest and detainment in our prisons. Also, being in such close proximity to the epicenter of the events, we also will allow any IADF members use of all our ports as well as being able to station troops inside our borders, housing them in bases that are already estabilished, and allowing the temporary construction of military bases.

Also, sea patrols around the island will be stepped up, and any nation besides IADF nations that send any type of armed ships into our waters will be given one warning and fired on if they do not comply.

Ooc: Thank you, keep in mind, the Czar's own father is a Catholic, anti-catholicism isn't a state sanctioned policy, but it is something a lot of the populace recently took to after the Pope of the MS Catholic Church was found to be fornicating, and with a Japanese woman, something they just couldn't accept. The Credonian Secretary of Defense Mitchell Ferguson had just recieved the encrypted transmission from Communist Louisiana. He entered the War Room. As he entered, the occupants snapped to attention and rendered a salute.

"As you were" he said, returning the salute.

He took a few more steps into the room and spotted the Commanding General of Credonian Armed Forces, General Gerald Thomas.

"Here are the orders. Sent straight from CL. You know what to do. Get on it!"

"Yes sir!"

The Secretary exited the room.

The General read over the orders and walked to the communications station.

"Order the 71st Carrier Division, 97th Army Infantry Division, and the 98th Marine Infantry Division to prepare to move out. Inform them that a couple hours after they get under-way, they will be transmitted their orders." he says to the officer sitting at the station.

"Right away sir"

Sutton Naval Base, Credonia 9:45 pm CST
It was a cold, cloudless night. The brilliant moonlight light up the star-filled night sky as the Officers, soldiers, and sailors boarded their ships. It was abnormally quiet around the docks. No one knew what was going on, where they were going, or even why they were going, but they knew that something was wrong. Over 200,000 soldiers and another few thousand sailors boarded the ships. Nothing was making sense, but they felt deep inside that they could possibly be deploying somewhere in the world while Credonia poised for a possible war. But with who?

After another couple hours passed, the last of the soldiers were boarding their troop ships and some of the ships in the 71st Carrier Division were begining to steam away from port. Soon, the men would know where they were going and why, and soon, the citizens of Credonia would know that the nation was preparing and poising itself for a possible war.

Premier Dufour looked up from the paper work at his desk to the Communist Louisianaian flag. He stood at it for a second then stood up to stretch. He turned around after stretching his arms then opened the french doors directly behind where he was seated and walked out on the balcony over looking the Mississippi River and the rest of New Orleans. He looked out at the river and saw 3 AEGIS Destroyer's escourting a Mackensen Class Trimaran-Hull Battleship South towards the Gulf. Mr. Stratard (Secretary of State) came up from behind him and cleared his throat to get Premier Dufour's attention

Mr. Stratard- Sir, Credonia has accepted our plea and has units on the way.

The Premier turned around and looked at him

Premier Dufour- They will be the first foreign troops to set foot on Louisianaian soil since 1812.

Mr. Stratard- Your doing what is best Daniel. You are protecting all of Communist Louisiana from the aggression we currently face.

Premier Dufour- I hope Ryan, I hope. I want a military parade tomorrow Ryan. I think it will be a moral boost to our military as well as civilians.

Mr. Stratard- Will do Daniel. Maybe you should go to your apartment here in the city tonight. You havent rested in 3 days and I am sure Kelsey (Premier Dufour's wife) is worried about you. Maybe you should even head to Alexandria or Lake Charles for the weekend to relax.

Premier Dufour- I will go to my apartment tonight, but I can not leave the city now. It might make the people think I have no trust in our forces or in us holding New Orleans.

Mr. Stratard- Very well then. Shall I have your secretary telephone the helicopter?

The sailors and officers felt his anxiousness as they waited for the promised orders. Suddenly, the ships senior communications officer entered the bridge carrying a piece of paper. Everyone's head turned towards him as he walked into the room and handed the Admiral the paper, which read:

Upon reading the orders to himself, the Admiral read the orders aloud the intercom so the sailors on the ship could hear. He then instructed the mesage to be relayed to the other war and troop ships.

He stood on the bridge staring out into what was becoming the morning sky. He could see the sun starting to rise over the horizon. After pausing for a moment to enjoy the view, he turned around.

"Order all ships to increase speed to 25 knots!"

"25 knots, aye aye sir!"

Within a couple days time Credonian forces would come to the aid of Communist Louisiana.

President Sutton was already up . In fact, he never got a wink of sleep that night as he was anxious to get word back from the divison at sea. He got up out of his bed, and slipped his robe and slippers on, then headed for his office. When he reached the office, he sat down at his desk and grabbed his pencil and began writing a letter to Premier Dufour:

As the troops got on board the transports rumors were spreading like wildfire. Morale was high, this would be the first overseas action for West Pacific soldiers into almost 20 years, rumor had it the President was invading some far off country whose named seemed to change with every passing moment, it was far more likely that this was related to West Pacific's recent admittance into the IADF and promise to aid in the defense of its member nations, but which one?

Karl: "Wow, you two are both talking out of your asses, do you think Communist Louisiana hasn't already prepared for a river crossing? They have hundreds of air craft, PT boats, and vehicles patrolling the border, they will know within minutes if VoteEarly tries to invade."

Bill: "Screw you Jim, just because I am Catholic and am very motivated for wanting to see the destruction of VoteEarly, and just because you got the highest score on the military entrance exam doesn't mean you know everything Karl. Anyways, we have to get going before they leave us behind."

Admiral Brandon paced the bridge of the CNS Excelser. He suddenly stopped and looked out the window. In the far distance he could make out the coastline of Communist Louisiana.

"Ah finally. We have arrived. XO, notify the CL navy that we are steaming towards the coast. ETA, 2 hours" ordered the Admiral.

"Aye aye, sir" replied the ship's XO (Executive Officer).

The Admiral exited the bridge and headed towards his stateroom to draft a message to War Headquarters.

The Credonian 71st Carrier Division along with troop ships carrying the 97th and 98th Credonian Infantry Divisions have entered the Gulf of Mexico and are preparing to enter CL waters. Our ETA is no more than 2 hours. We will begin deploying our troops when we recieve your nation's go ahead while in the meantime, we will be positioning our naval vessels along the Pearl river to patrol for VoteEarly naval ships. Any and all found will be turned back, boarded or fired upon. In the case that we should fire upon a naval vessel from VE, Credonia will be announcing its declaration of war upon VE and we implore you to do the same. We will not fire upon any unarmed vessel should it reach our forces. We will try to turn it around and if thta fails, we will attempt to board. Should we be unable to board, then and only then will we be forced to open fire. We are doing this to avoid undertaking any unnecessary offensive acts that will escalate this situation into war. Our top priority is the nation of Communist Louisiana, its safety and the safety of its people, and as a loyal ally, we will do all in our power to prevent enemy forces from harming your people. We await your response.

OOC: Yup.....all of the Colonization books, book one of "Worldwar," "How Few Remain" and Book One of the "American Empire" series.

I gave up on the "American Empire" series because of the sloppy way he handled the sex scenes and the unoriginal cliches that resulted (i.e. Confederate "blitz" into Ohio, how original :rolleyes: ). Still, good reads.

I have read all of the Colonization, World War, and American Empire series, I read How Few Remain and am currently reading Homeward Bound. That is why I thought it odd the stance your government took, and how ironic, Jake Featherston IV, one of the very things that Jake Featherston complained about was all the Jr.'s and III's running the CSA, nice one, and making him a puppet, touche. You have permission to enter CL territorial waters as well as unload any troops and supplies you wish to unload. We ask of one rule while your troops are here, that is that they are to stay out of the cities of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Alexandria, Monroe, and Shreveport unless authorized to enter. Foreign troops will not be permitted to carry weapons into the cities either.

This is just not a position we are taking against your troops, we are making this law to all foreign troops. If there are any commanding officers or other high ranking officials from Credonia who would liek to enter the city, they must obtain a pass from our government to enter the city. There body guards will be assigned permits to carry one firearm into the city. If additional guards are required, they will be assigned one from Communist Louisiana.

Credonian naval vessels had already began securing the Pearl River as the first amphibious landing was made on CL territory. Tanks, artilliary, tropp transport vehicles, troops, and other battle equipment rolled onto the shores of CL. All Credonian forces had recieved their orders to secure and fortify the first strategic position: the CL-VE land border. Credonian military assistance had finally arrived and the morale of the troops were running extremely high. Within a matter of a couple hours, all deployed Credonian forces would have entered into CL territory to protect its population from VoteEarly.

President Sutton read over the threat made by Dimminar and laughed. He went to the communications room of the palace and issued this message to the government of Dimminar and all enemies of CL:

The threat of attack is returned to you. Note that Communist Louisiana and its loyal allies are not the aggressor in this situation. All steps taken thus far have been out of sheer defense. Should VE violate any of the prohibitions set forth by the CL government or should VE and/or any of its allies set forth on an offensive campaign against Communist Louisiana, Credonia will be more than obliged to engage in hostile contacts against the aggressors and we will not stop the bloodshed until all of the enemy has been totally and utterly defeated.

After recieving clearance to land WPAF Flight 967 began to land. One at a time, each one plane having to wait for the other to be taxied away before the next could land, this process proved to take longer than expected and the last C-130 landed with about 15 minutes of fuel left. After landing the engineers waited on board so as to wait for inspection by CL officials.

All being escorted by the 7th fleet, which consists of 2 Nimitz Class Aircraft Carriers, 1 Sea Wolf Class Sub, 2 Virginia Class Subs, 4 Los Angeles Class Subs, 9 Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers(Flight IIA), 4 Ticonderoga Class Guided Missile Cruisers.

3 armored trucks drove to each aircraft where they were inspected for contraband. The men talked in cajun french as they inspected and left as soon as the inspections were done. One of the MP's came to Flight 967 and spoke in perfect english.

CL MP- We found no contraband. Sorry about the strict regulations the government seems to be putting infront of you. Its just that CL is very skeptical towards any foreign troops in the home territories. Enemy or allie is closly watched.

IC: It had been several days (RL) since the engineers landed, already things were progressing well, the first airstrip was almost complete, this would allow for more men and supplies to be brough in much faster. A team of engineers had been dispatched to the harbor at Helena, after arriving they got to work on hiring contractors to begin the construction of piers, barracks, and a command center. The Drydock facilities would be built by West Pacific Engineers and equipment afterwords as well as the defensive structures. Already the pier was startnig to take shape, barracks had been put together hastily, they were livable for now, comfort would be taken care of at a later date.

Official Message from the CCP of CL to all Red Army Soliders

A nation wide call has been issued for all Red Army Soliders to report to parish armories due to the rising in tensions between VoteEarly and Communist Louisiana.

The calling up of Louisiana's 18 million strong Red Army is in effect into further notice. The CL Red Guard (Reserves) have been placed on high alert. If the call goes out for the Red Guard, the Red Army size will more than double in number.

Public outcry against West Pacific's entry into the IADF was hitting an all time high, the people were enraged, West Pacific had not seen war on a major scale in almost 30 years, now the nation was on the brink of war in a far off place most West Pacific citizens knew little about, soldiers were being sent off to fight under the banner of the IADF and to protect this nation that had offered little to West Pacific, already the government was giving out billions of dollars in aid to its allies and for what? So some third rate nation could get some more antiquated equipment to play with, things that would last only a matter of minutes in a modern war. The President had scheduled a rally for tonight to address this issue. The stage was set, over 200,000 people piled into Erik Drucker Stadium (renamed after the late President), all that was left was for the President to give his speach, which would be simulcast in over 30 different languages around West Pacific and the world.

People of West Pacific, I greet you not as subordinates but as colleagues, already you have made clear how you feel about our joining the IADF, now I would like the chance to tell you how I feel and why I did what I did. Intelliegence reports and outside sources show that VoteEarly is filled with hateful infidels who prefer not to accept and embrace the differences of the individual, but rather to deny and oppress. Many a people have been locked up or killed because of differences in religion, race, and political ideals. If West Pacific was to adopt a platform anything remotely similar to what VoteEarly has done to it's own people a full 1/3 of the nation would be locked up in prison and half that number dead. I acknowledge that many people in West Pacific are distrustful of the Socialist Government in Communist Louisiana, given the numbers who died during the socialist uprising of almost 50 years ago after the Socialist were democratically removed from power, but CL is an ally in the fight against bigotry and oppression, something West Pacific has been trying to do to ourselves and our neighbors for years.
