OOC: For those who remember a while back I created a 60km long super-flagship called the Divine Ascension. I have decided that it is too large, and a class of smaller ships would be able to fill the same niche.
IC: After several years of venerable service it has been decided that the great Divine Ascension has finished its tour of duty and will be retired to serve out the rest of its life as an orbital museum of history, encompassing everytime period from the stone age to the dawn of this century.
In light of this the SOSY (Shenyang Orbital Shipyards) has begun development of the class to honor this great ship, the Divine Ascension class. Though exponentially smaller they will serve with the same dignification that the class's namesake served with.

The new prototype ship, unpainted, comes out of hyperspace in the same way its predecesor did. A red wall of energy appeared and oppened, the ship then materialized out of the "gate."
She is 1/10 the size of the original, but her power is still on par with its parent the original.
The new ship's basic statistics are brought up on the same screen that had witnessed the statistics of the original DA.
