ViZion has never been a member of the United Nations (UN), as we view it as a omnipresent world government trying to dominate the world, and take away nation-state's sovereignty. Increasingly anti-UN views have been taken in recent years in ViZion's Government. Due to this, a vote was taken on the issue of rather the UN is a legitimate organization that should be recognized and if it should be denounced.

In doing so, the votes outcome turned up as 69% voting to denounce the UN, no longer recognizing the UN at all.

We no longer recognize the UN, its authority, or its membership. We view the UN as a threat, and those who wish to use the UN as a way to start a war will be seem as an imperialists war. We also consider UN resolutions as unnecessary, and feel nations should not be ruled by these imaginary borders.

The UN encroaches upon sovereignty to an unbelievable level. The UN in an illegitemate organization, and we urge other nations to break out of its ever-constricting chain around your nations neck. They are trying to become a world government, and we cannot have that.

We ask nations to join us in denouncing the UN, dubbing it an illegitimate. Thank you.

I do dub the UN a poor and foul organization, but I must stay in the UN as to protect the region I stay in, as the founder is not quite always sure if they will be alive or not.

Although the Jarridian Government sees your views as valid, we have agreed that your actions today are a major blow to diplomacy and democracy. We will not, in any way unrecognize the UN. In the past they have operated as a means of ending possible strife, and hope is still there for a renewal of justice. Your actions are rash ViZion, and we do not agree with them. You have now stepped into the world alone, may God have mercy on your people.

Well, the closest they have come to that was screwing my people over and over and over again, it is an organization that only works if all the people wish it to work. So forth I can't use the UN to act against others as the UN has no bearing to non-UN nations.

"We find that our additional 'influence' as our region's UN delegate far outweigh any infringements upon our sovereignty. We agree with about eighty percent of the resolutions that come to the floor anyway. As such, we will not withdraw from the UN, nor withhold any recognition of it."

We applaud our friends in ViZion for realising the erroneous, uber-liberal ways of the United Nations and how anti-productive and non-progressive this farce of an international organisation is.

Pacitalia realised the mistake of being in the UN a long time ago and we have never looked back. In fact, Pacitalia has prospered as a non-UN state. We agree with some of the views of the people and government of ViZion but must say it would be a good idea to carefully think over what is said so as not to offend any UN members and cause diplomatic tension.

Otherwise, we congratulate you on your realisation of the corruptness of this body of domination, oppressive total compliance and intimidation. Of course, the only problem we have with UN nations is that they're in the UN. We have nothing against these nations whatsoever, otherwise.

We, too, do not have a problem with the members of the UN, but rather feel bad for them. It is the UN its self that is corrupt and causes problems. This is exactly why we call upon its members to leave, and it is why we no longer recognize it an legitimate.
