Skirmish: Huntaer vs. Branada (Closed FT RP. Only Huntaer & Branada
The Emperor sensed the taste of battle from the minds of the tyrandids. Being the beasts they are, the emperor could easily detect them through the force without effort. He diverts his third division twards the tyranid hordes. Grand Admiral Yukari, the only female Grand Admiral in the sith empire is incharge of the third division. "Report comander."
"Ma'am, we have been diverted from the main fleet headed for san fransico to the tyranid hive fleet. The emperor has just declared a temporary state of war."
Yukari nods her head. She grins. She knew what to do next whith her fleet.
With a psyonic roar the massive Hive fleet plowed towards the prey, the vunrible hive ships hanging back a bit while the speedy drones and Kraken moved to attack. Claws, tentacles and teeth were readied for the bloody battle ahead. Spores now blanketed every ship in the hive fleet.
(In case you don't know, a spore cloud acts as shields)

Yukani looked ahead. She saw the tyranid fleet ready for battle. She didn't need force powers to show her this. "Commander Brikord, order the fleet to charge the tyranids. Send out all available tie serie fighers. Make sure that Phantom Squadron is launched out of the ship. We may have not fought against the tyranids before, but we know enough about their battle tatics to just survive. Where is Master Shelintiave when you need her?"
"Ma'am, the Dominator Star Destroyer Hunter has already engaged the enemy." Reported an Comm. Ensign.
"All righty then. Deploy all Tie's on my mark.... MARK!!"
The tie fighters then roared out of every ship that contained them. With thousands upon thousands of tie's roaming the area, it will be a difficult battle for both the tyranids and the sith.

A evil feminen eye opens. The figure straightens up from her meditation position, and then strolles out of her meditation chamber. She heads for the bridge. As she does, all of the officers don't dare look at her, for if any show a slight sign of sexual intrest, she will kill them outright... And Painfully. She knew G.A. Yukani well, for Yukani wasn't a fool and knew war like no other non-force sencitive huntarian did. Still, it wouldn't hurt if Shelintiave gave Yukani a "Little" advice...
(Charge tyranids? Many a genestealer will thank you for the 'fast food')
The hive conciousness rippled, small prey of an inummerable number swarmed at the fleet, the fleet released a cloud of creatures, small predatorial creatures; a wave a biting teeth and claws capable of crushing starship armor tore toward the small vehicles. Another directive sent a wave of larger creatures toward the large prey staying in certain corridors as the fleet loosed a thick hail of pyro acid pellets (pellets the size of a super heavy tank!) toward the oddly advancing fleet and especially the lead ship.
The hive conciousness felt a tiny foriegn presence tapping into it, with the savagry of its race the Great Devourer directed a titanic psionic blow at the interloper. (Probing tyranid minds is a dangerous thing)
Spurred on by instinct, a dozen drones raced toward the lead ship, the flickering lights were absorbed by the clouds of spors, several burned the flesh of creatures, they were just infuriated on, they stretched out their appendages...
(OOC: Thanks. I'm having a swim meet later on today, and I'll have a lot of research home work for US His. 2. I may not post up 'till, say, 8:00 P.M. (EST).
Useing her battle meditation, shelintiave commands her fleet with ease. She saw the Tyranid hive mind change their fleet position. Using the Force, she commands the fleet to spread out and load their cannons. With all tie fighters out in space, they prepair themselfs for battle against the Tyranid hive. The rest of phantom squadron follows suit, prepairing to strike at an unknown time.
Shelintiave smiles. Her commands caused phantom squadron to disapear from sight. She knows that they will add to the element of surprise when the tyranids close in on their fleet.
OOC: That's fine, I propably won't be on then but I'm on every weekday between 8am and 9am your time, and then I can be on 12pm to 2:30pm as well, so whenevers good, and remember the tyranids are blanket firing
in a frenzy, invisible or not those dense streams of fire will hit cloaked vessels if they stray out of the corridors that the tyranid fighter beasties are moving through
IC: As the prey vanished the hive mind raged, the fleet, enraged as well moved as fast as possible towards the prey, closing rapidly they pushed hard, with the fighter creatures nearly to the lead ships. In a blood rage the fleet loosed a titanic psycic roar that echoed in the minds of those sensitive enough to here it, every tyranid in the fleet roared at the same time, working themselves into a killing frenzy, a few moments more and the real fight would begin....
The Cloaked Squadron then moved under the tyranid hive fleet, deceiving their prey. Planing an two front war...

Meanwhile on the main fleet, the Affliction waits in space for the rest of the fleet. The Emperor sat upon his throne as deshoonde approached him.

The Emperor thinks about this senario. He know full well that even if the Tie Phantom's cloaked, the third fleet will be vunerable to the Tyranid attack, for Tyranids are vicious critters. "I already have a plan deshoonde. There will be no need to wory for your sister. She will be fine."
"Yes my master."

Back onboard the Plague, Shelintiave receives a message through the Force....
OOC: the speedy tyranid ships must have closed the distance by now
The tyranid fleet now reached into the Imperial formation like a clawed hand, drone ships raced past ships, spitting both pyro acid and bio plasma, kraken carged sraight at ships seeking to grasp and entangle them, tyranid fighter-creatures dove gracefully into the clouds of TIE's seeking to rend and destroy. Tyranid hive ship sat in space raking the nearby ships with super heavy fire, or grasping at the imperial ships while releasing swarms of smaller beasts. The fury of the hive mind had truly been unleased.
(FYI: Bio plasma ignores shields, and the swarms of space beasties are acctually carrying a boarding swarm and so will try to latch on to ships and deploy.)
"Ma'am! Look! The 14th Division has arived!"
Yukani quickly glanced up at the window. She could clearly see another fleet ariving from the Tyranid rear, closing off anychance of escape. Now, it was a battle to the death. The 14th division released all tie fighters at their enemy. Phantom Squadron decloaked right behind the Tyranid fleet.
The Tyranid hive was about to be attacked from all sides...
OOC: Hmmm forcing the beast to fight like a caged animal, that may be unwise, Hive ships don't panic lke humans.
IC: With the hive ships threatened the swarm tore at the first prey, trying to rip a path for the hives ships, but the great leviathans were far from defenceless. Great batteries rise from the ships skin an a titanic volley of tyranid ordinance flew at the interlopers, mixed in with boarding creatures to crush the frail prey.
OOC: Frail Prey?? Do you realy think that they could easily board a ship with over 300+ Turbo Cannons, and Heavy Turbolaser Batteries? You also don't know about the super laser onboard Sovereign and Eclipse Class Star Destroyers then. Sith don't panic either, not to mention they could easily drain the life out of your tyranids and add it for their own.

The Eclipse Class Star Destroyer Vexation slowly hovers tword it's enemy. Admiral Hirkiru, stands on the bridge with his hands folded behind his back. He saw the first fleet still mobilized, with 80% of it's capital ships still intact, though they lost 40% of their fighters. The Imperial Star Destroyers form a circle around the Tyranid hive as two more fleets with the Sovereign Class Star Destroyer Anguish and the new Eclipse Class
Star Destroyer Petulant come in and form a total circle around the Tyranid Hive Fleet. The beasts will have no chance of survival. The ISD Mk. 1's are expendable to ship boarding.
Back onboard the Plague Shelentiave prepairs to order a sequencial firing sequence at the center of the hive fleet's ships from the Vexation, Anguish, and the Petulant. The devistation will be costly tword the Tyranid hive fleet.

tyranids are well armored and resistant to damage thanks to their regenative abilities, not to mention that your force powers require linking with the mind of one of the creatures, which then reaches into the hive conciousness, an incredably dangerous option believe me, only Tigarius has successfully done it. ANd plus you are frail compared to them, tyranids have redundant organs in their redundant organs and their bodies alone are dense enough to repel your blasters, and the larger ones can juggle tanks!, you think an sith or a stormtrooper can do that!
IC: There it was again, the pulse of control the prey seemed to use, were was it coming from? Blood pumped out out into the void, freezing on contact, the fleet was hurt, but so was the prey, the hive mind saw the bigger ships and understood them, saw that they were the leaders of the prey, they needed to be destroyed. The fleet ignored the smaller vessels and began tearing at the larger ships seeking the warm meat inside the hot lights tore at them, but far worse weapons had been used against the swarm, they would carry on. A sudden building of energy alerted the hive ships, 'Weapons' the hive mind deduced, 'big weapons' the swarm, driven to frenzy ignored the other ships, these three must die the swarm spread itself out then powered toward the three ships like an infuriated swarm of wasps.
