Rules and Regulations:
1) Calculate your own purchase! I have little time to spend, and I'm not a calculator(lol). I could find out what your military budget is, but that is about it. I'll know whether or not you have an $Umteen Trillion military budget. There will be honisty here. No cheats.


2) Do not go over your military budget (it kind of runs with rule 1, but with an acception). However, if what you want to order is slightly off (ex: you have 1.2 Trillion and you need 1.4 Trillion), I will accept reservations up to 7 days (7 NS years). Weapon types:

Weapons Battery: Weapons batteries form the main armament for
most warships, ensuring that much of their hull is pock-marked by gun ports and weapon housings. Each battery consists of rank upon rank of weapons: plasma projectors, laser cannons, missile launchers, rail guns, fusion beamers and graviton pulsars. Weapons batteries fire by salvoes, using a co-ordinated pattern of shots to catch the target in the middle of a maelstrom of destruction. Weapon Batteries are good for rapid-fire attacks.

Lances: Lances are incredibly high-powered energy weapons that are capable of burning straight through an armoured hull or cutting an escort ship in two. On Imperial and Chaos ships, lances are usually mounted in huge turrets with quad or triple energy projectors that focus into a concentrated beam of destruction. Lances are good at armour penetration.

Nova Cannons: A nova cannon is a huge weapon, normally mounted in the prow of a ship so that the recoil it generates can be

compensated for by the vessel’s engines. It fires a projectile at incredible velocity, using graviometric impellers to accelerate it to close to light speed. The projectile implodes at a
preset distance after firing, unleashing a force more potent than a dozen plasma bombs. While potentially inaccurate, Nova cannons can destroy many ships at a time.

AO turrets: These are small turrets that destroy torpedoes and attack craft close to the ship.

Torpedoes: Large projectiles designed to destroy ships. Torpedoes are fired in salvoes, the number of torpedoes in a salvo

depends on the firepower value of the tubes. Torpedoes can be prematurely detonated by being fired on, or moving through dangerous territory (mines, black holes, explosions etc.)

Boarding torpedoes: Manned torpedoes, that can be steered. On impact, they deploy their crew into the ship. Other than this, they behave like other torpedoes.

Attack craft: these are launched from launch bays. Fighters or interceptors can destroy all other attack craft or torpedoes. Bombers are vulnerable to fighter attack but can damage ships with their missiles. Assault boats are vulnerable to fighters but can unload a boarding party onto a ship just like boarding torpedoes.

It is true. And not unreasonable considering these things are about 800 km long. To compare that: An ISD is about 1 km long. A RL aircraft carrier takes about the same time to turn. Anyway, why would you waste time and energy to turn 360 degrees? at the very most, 180 degrees is the theoretical maximum you would need.

For a start you would need to convert any ship or emplacement that wanted to fire boarding torpedoes to include a torpedo tube of the correct calibre, house an airlock in the torpedo bay, and heat-resistant tiles for the surrounding 25 metres. Lances will need their own thermic reactors. All in all, it would cost maybe $100,000,000,000 for the technology, including tool technology, a few raw materials, intel on raw material deposits, and 50 hectares on a forge world to start production. It is true. And not unreasonable considering these things are about 800 km long. To compare that: An ISD is about 1 km long. A RL aircraft carrier takes about the same time to turn. Anyway, why would you waste time and energy to turn 360 degrees? at the very most, 180 degrees is the theoretical maximum you would need.

Well, this was a delivery buisness, so they would be legit. It had 2 turrets (like the falcon), except they are only single lasers I think, and it had 1 fixed med laser on the port side, and an ion cannon on the starboard side, and two multipurpose launchers.

Eh, you can try to find info, but it's hard to come by in Star Wars. Legnth is about all you get. One of the major problems is that ships like Mon Calamari cruisers are all custom built (which is why they look kinda organic-ish), and are considered a high form of art. This is nice in that there are more shield and power generators on a Calamari cruiser than seems necessary (or sane... or really even possible), but they are all pieces of art, so legnth is pretty much all they have in common. Even ships of the same class (ex: MC80B) can be different, as they could have wings, or be cigar shaped. Engines differ in possition, although roughly the same ammounts are present.

Two nice examples are two of the cruisers in the battle of Endor. Notice that the ship called "Home One" has engines spaced around the outer edges of its hull, and is cigar shaped. An unknown winged cruiser (the one that is destroyed in the first shot of the Second Death Star, presumably the intensive medical care ship) is also present. It has all of its engines located in one central location, in a slot in the back of the ship. Different engine arrays may provide different abilities (Home One may be able to turn faster, but not go as fast linearly, the winged one may be the opposite), which is a nice attribute.

Mass is even harder, as a star destroyer has endurance of over a year. If you're newly replenished, the ship will be much heavier than if you're on the last leg of an occupation. Armarments change mass too. An X-Wing weighs less when carrying concussion missiles than when carrying proton torpeedos. Also, again the Mon Calamari cruisers present a problem.

Well considering Gronde uses alot of WH40K stuff and BFG (battle fleet gothic) and sells most of the IoM and Space Marine warships none of them are 56Km long infact i dont think any top 4Km.
See if in the WH40K game the ships were 56Km long the IoM and the Space Marine Chapters would only have a vary limited number of ships and wouldnt be able to mass produce them as they do.

As for CorpSac, one of the reasons why the imperium managed to get such a huge fleet, I beleive it is due to their Forge Worlds. Not to mention that they really havent advanced in technology (hence the dark age of technology) so you'd think they would be use to the style, technology, or size of their ships. Forge Worlds, for your refference and others, are used for the sole purpose for creating either spaceships, or land assault vehicals (I'm not sure about whether they use them for training facilities as well).
Fal had to raise his prices of the BFG section because he was getting "Yelled" at for being slightly godmodish with the prices due to the enormous amounts of weaponery and the size of the BFG ships. I do agree, however, that the prices do seem a tad bit... large.
Fal buddy, you didn't need to have them in the high trillions. I would've put them at least in the mid to high hundred billions. For the more heavily armed ships and those with adnormal lengths, those should be (depending on their stats) at $700 bill, to about aproximatly $30 Trill.

The original price for these ships is 5.63 plus the cost of the MC-10. However, we would like all of these ships to be modified for stealth, especially against electronic, IR, RADAR, and sonic systems. Visual stealth is not important except on the cruiser. We will wire 20 billion USD in hopes that this will cover the price of everything, plus the R&D necessary for such cloaking devices. IC: $273,600,000,000 has been wired to your treasury for the TIE Defenders. Payment for the X-Wing is on hold pending negotiations on the cost of the modifications; we think inflating the cost of the starfighter by nearly sixtyfold for extra life support is a bit much.

The Prime Minister wanted extra life support so the pilot could last longer in hyperspace without stopping (in effect extending the ship's range in hyperspace for long jumps.) An upgraded hyperdrive (though not multiple ones) would be nice, but if it pushes the cost past $1 billion for the single starfighter, we will consider that option too expensive and only opt for the extra life support.

If the cost of these modifications per fighter can be brought down by economies of scale, we could probably order more of these custom, long-range fighters.

And you still haven't answered our questions about acquiring production rights to the TIE Defenders. (OOC: if it isn't necessary to ask, let me know OOCly)
