Possible Regional War

Yugosaxony
12-02-2005, 01:12
I am from the nation of Yugosaxony and am a founding member of the small region of Two Sided Plains. Conflicts have been going on between a few of the nations there, especially with Kervoksia who has become increasingly dictatorial. Representatives to Kervoskia have been unjustly executed by the authoritarian regime. Yugosaxony has about 2,000 Yugosaxons there and fear they are being monotored. All but five nations are acting. I fear this will tear our region. Most of the nations number with less than 20m citizens but Kervoskia, we fear, has been bullying some of them. Please respond our plea for help, we do not wish for a regional war to break-out.

Being an ally of Kervoskia, we warn you that any offensive action taken against his nation will be taken as an offensive action against the Confederacy of Lachenburg and we will respond with swift and brutal action.

Diplomatic action will be the most successful approach to solving this problem and force should only be an option of last resort. I hope you will take this in mind, otherwise I fear for the future of your peaceful nation.

War is the last thing we want. Diplomatic action would be best. If it gets bad enough should we ask if we can put sanctions on them? Or banish them.

ViZion will send in a force of 15,000 peace keepers who will not fire unless in self defence, or to keep innocent civilians from being attacked. We will also help those who wish to exit the nation of Kervoksia to do so without fear of being attacked.

We also ask that Kervoksia cease any hostile actions taken. ViZion is willing to send in diplomats to help curve this issue from turning into a war, and we hope to see both sides come to peace talks.

We will be keeping an eye on this issue.

These actions are outrageous and will not be tolerated by Jarridia. nor the WWA for that matter. At this time, it has been ordered by the Jarridian Government for intervention into these regional affairs.

----------------------------------------

Executive Order #456.78

Let it be known that any further aggression on the part of Kervoskia will cause a military action by the Pure Democracy of Jarridia, utilizing no less than 15,000 Peace Keepers, and no more than 75,000. Kervoskia is strongly urged to seek a peaceful end to this conflict, before it is too late. If our threat is rejected, Jarridia will have no choice but to move in and strike, using all forces necessary to bring the cause to our favor.

The nation of Turetel stands behind Yugosaxony and his request for aid in case of a violent outbreak. We are sending in our 33rd Peacekeepers Corp. (18,000 men) and the International Turetelian Peacemakers has 15 members there organizing peaceful protest.

The rules for my men are only fire if being fired upon or to protect civilians who are being fired upon.

There is no need for such measures. Yugosaxony is exaggerating. I am simply proetcteing the people, under me the economy is strong and healthy. It was for national secuirty. There is also no need for Kervoskians to flee, loyal citizens will not be harmed.

Hello Prime Minister Boris Van Burg, I am President Maybury from ViZion. I am sorry we meet in opposition, but I hope things will turn around quickly between relations between us, as well as those in your region. We will be sending in 15,000 peace keepers to ensure that both citizens and foreigners within your nation are safe, and are able to exit your nation if they wish.

They will only fire if you fire upon them, or attack unarmed civilians. We will help escort those who wish to leave your country, out of Kervoskia. We will also he escorting those you dub "unloyal" or otherwise plan to kill, out of your nation. Do not fire upon us, and do not be aggressive towards your neighboring nations, or more forceful measures WILL be used to ensure the safety of your people, as well as your neighbors.

Thank you.

Very well, you may send in your "peace keepers" but let this be known, if you take violent actions I will send the KRG to fight back. My ministers have estimated there are about 121,000 who wish to leave. I know not why, perhaps they are disloyal, but I will not act against you. I will put restrictions of how long you can be here. I will give you one week ( 3 realworld days ) to evacuate people, I think thats reasonable. I hope military action will not be needed. I too am sorry we meet under such circumstances. But please realize that Yugosaxony makes the situation seesm worse than it is, so be warned. Also to Jarridia, we do not take threats. You are being rash, I do not want a war, it would devastate Two Sided Plains and my nation.

It was not a threat, but a promise. If we wished war, we would have skipped over the entire diplomatic stage and gone straight in, but we didn't. We like to give you the chance to stand down and think about what you almost did. We applaud you for choosing a brilliant direction and standing down against the forces of Jarridia that would have otherwise marched over your lands. As long as your military stays inside its borders, there will be no rift between our people, but we shall be watching you. You have been added to our intelligence list, do not slip up.

Transmission to Kervoskia:
Hello again, Prime Minister. We are glad you are willing to allow our Peace Keepers to enter, and allow those who wish to leave, to exit your nation. Our Peace Keepers will not attack, they will only defend, so you do not have to worry about that.

We will make sure we get these people out of your country within a week, and as long as your nation is not hostile towards people within your country, or to our Peace Keepers, we will be leaving after the last person who wishes to leave, exits your country.

If Yugosaxony is exaggerating, you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure your conduct towards those within your borders does not breach sovereignty by harming foreigners, or killing a large amount of your own people due to beliefs, race, or other reasonings. Also, make sure you do not aggressively go after your neighbors with military, or do other things that will go beyond your sovereignty. As long as that happens, you have nothing to worry about.

We will not harm your peacekeepers, they will be safe. I have alerted the Representative body about this they voted 67% to 33% to let people exit so they will be allowed to. Military action will not be neccessary but I hope no more rebels will cause disturbances. The former PM, Vladamir I, was assassinated by them after he left office and my term ends soon, politicians keep terms of no more than 2 years or 2 RW weeks as too keep corruption down, so you can understand why I am distressed. Assassination isn't rare because we have few prisons so security will be top notch. Other nations in the region will not be harmed unless they strike first so unless they do you have nothing to worry about. I will let you have control of our 50,000 member Republican Guard to assist you.

We thank you for your offer for allowing us to control your 50,000 Republican Guards, however, unless we need them after four days, we will not accept. They are your soldiers, and we are not keen on controlling foreign soldiers, unless we are given control of them during wartime.

We hope that this non-aggressive stance stays intact. If so, I see your region being just fine. A notice to other nations within the Two Sided Plains region: Do not attack unless you are attacked first, or unless your opposition breaches their sovereignty with genocide, killing foreigners, aiding terrorists, or being aggressive militarily against other nations.

If the nations of Two Sided Plains are in need to diplomatic aid, or are having struggles and are in need of help, please do let me and Jarridia know, and we will see what we can do.

Thank you,

President Maybury.

ViZion has finished pulling out those civilians who wish to leave, and we are now leaving the region.
