IC:
A leakage of information from a yet unknown source has begun to make it to some on the international community. Project Tiger Claw, as it was being labeled for the time, is a massive nuclear weapons system with an unknown quantity of modified ships, planes, and submarines ready to react to a strike against ViZion or Jarridia. These ships, planes and submarines carry no missiles, torpedoes, or bombs other than nuclear ones.

This joint project, as ViZion and Jarridia have stated in this mission, ”…is a war-repellant system dedicated to showing those who dare to attack ViZion or Jarridia that if they do attack, it will lead to their immediate destruction. In these days of wars and threats, a massive nuclear deterrent system is a must for the safe-guard of our innocent civilians.”

No other information has been leaked. ViZion and Jarridia’s governments have issued no comment yet, but it is believed they will soon release information to the public and the international community as a whole.

OOC: Don't mean to hijack, but I'm assuming you're using land based nuclear ICBMs... if I'm correct the sheer size of the planet, and the distances in mind, are impossible to cover using land based ICBMs - or so it seems... I might be wrong.... so, it is to say, your ICBMs might not reach some nations.

OOC: Not all are land based, only some... a large number are sea and air (missiles, bombs, and torpedoes), as well as dirty bomb... but that info, like I said, is OOC... ;)

OOC: This is all a joint effort by both ViZion's and my own Space Programs, Naval Nuclear Forces, and our other strategic missile systems. This project is basically to extend these forces, and make them compatible with one another in an effort to stave of disaster for our own citizens. Though, the space side is primarily ViZion's work, because the Jarridian Space Program is not large, but I'm certain that our extensive Air Force, and Navy will provide much assistance to this cause.

Secret IC to Jarridia:
We believe we have found the person who leaked the information. He is being interigated currently, and we will send him to you, too, if you wish to deal with him. If we find he's guilty, we ask that he receives the chair. It's believed he is a spy, though we don't know from what country yet.

We would certainly enjoy the chance to interrogate him. We have no problem with giving him the chair, although Spies in Jarridia are treated much, much worse. I think that if we do locate the nation in which he is from, they should be penalized as well.

Yes, once we're done with him, we'll send him your way. Do as you wish, find out what info you can from him. And if we do find that nation, they will be penalized.

ooc quick summary- Well i had a civil war which ended in a split of my country, over half is controled by religous extremist and the other part is controlled by whats left of the government. In this case the Extremists own the spy. And please excuse this sort of pathetic post...

Secret IC-
"Sir our spy has been found out apparently." Said the aide as he walked into the conference room.

"No sir but he might tell or they might be able to track him back to us."
"Then lets try and pin it on those last remaining government officals if we can."
"I shall start on it."
The Aide quickly left the room running to the communications room to contact some of the others to plant evidence to hopefully lead to what was left of the government of the 'free people'.

Meanwhile in the real government intercepted the communication, and they took it before the only high ranking government offical left, General Frank Colbert.
"General we intercepted a communication from those Extremist siezing power. apparently a spy of theres in ViZion."
"Well then prepare a message to send to them as soon as possible. They might be able to help us out some too."

Jarridia, we believe we've found out who he's working for. The extremist rebels in Comdidia. We will be sending him to you now. As you read this, he's being boarded onto a plane, which will be heading straight to you.

OOC: Just to clear something up, is this a detterant from anyone invading either nation, or is it a detterant for someone thinking of using nuclear weapons against you two? Bewcause if it is for the first, that seems to be a rather boring way to role play.

OOC: Both... and actually, I wasn't even expecting this deter anyone, but rather actually start a war or two... knowing how the International Community can be with a major nuclear project going on across the globe... then again, thoses from Dec of '04 and before prob know me enough to think I wouldn't use it for anything other than what is said in the mission... lol

Ok, I was just thinking that if someone did try to invade you or Jarridia it would be sort of a boring rp if you just turned them to glass. Plus it would have been a giant leap backwards in your rp ability. I still think that your civil war thread of the old borads was one of the best played out civil war rp IVE ever read.

OOC: Oh, you were around back then? What nation were ya? And thx, glad to hear ya liked the RP that much... knowing there's been alotta civil wars and what nations have had them, that's quite a complement! :D

But ya, Jarridia and I were basically figuring on stirring things up, making things interesting and all... because alotta the international community isn't exactly pro-massive-nuclear-project... unless things have changed alot since Dec of 04...

IC: The Kingdom of Nascent, while being strictly against weapons of mass destruction, understands the reason for such a nuclear detterant, but also hope that this will not be used for any "first strike" operations.
