A pair of Darkstar UAV's flew across the night sky. As part of the initial survey of Doomingslandian territory, they were two out of a group of twenty. Their mission was simple: Infiltrate enemy territory, and send the surveillance back via SATCOM. As the aircraft flew into the foriegn territory, the rest of Ramissle began to prepare for war.

Raston Naval Base, Gulf Area, Ramissle

Ensign Benchani tucked in his uniform. Today was his first day on the bridge. The Lavoro del Diavolo was a Nanticoke class heavy carrier, of General Purpose Fleet A. Benchani had landed a job in Aerial Coordination; it was his duty to relay orders to the pilots. He walked out of the bathroom, and strolled into the kitchen. After taking a piece of toast, he sat down next to his wife. This could be my last time with her. Benchani put down his toast, and said a tearful goodbye.

As he walked to the car, he went over the debreifing in his head. He remembered Admiral Preble, at the front of the room. The Ramisslian flag was behind him, the old azure and ivory. Preble began to speak about the coming war, and what would happen. The pinpoint airstikes of key powersites. Coastal bombardment at the Naval bases. The missle strike of the Doomingsland capital. Preble had talked about the evilness of the country, the genocide, the affiliation with the RWC. He remembered the cheers at the end of the speach, and the pressing media issues. Why now? Would we have support? What of the holes in the military? These questions echoed in Benchani's head as he started the car. This war would not be forgotten.

OOC:
Any nation aiding Doomingsland in the coming attacks will be seen as helping a genocidal regime by the world, and may face CFA resistence.
I would like to note that the only activity in Doomingsland area so far is the spy planes withen the territory. The following naval fleets have been deployed:

OOC: Wow, I am torn, between two old friends and the threat of genocidal maniacs, one sides puts me against Generic and Doom, while one side places me with them, choices, choices.

Oh boy, more choices, this is a tough choice, honour my alliance we Generic and Doom or break it, :(>

Private White was at the shooting range. A member of the Second Division, his deployment was guaranteed if things got ugly in the war. Or, more likely so, when. His squad, like all others, consisted of two teams. He was on the Kill team, which used XM-8 Battle rifles. The Suppresion team used HK MP5's. White took out his battle rifle. Bang! Bang! Bang! Three shots came in quick succession, and created three close holes near the center of the target. He shot again, with more or less the same result. As he fired, Corporel Perez dialed his girlfriend on his cell, and spoke about the coming conflict. Perez's girl was an extremely emotional one, it was suprising she let him sign up for the Army. They spoke for about an hour, with the gunshots in the background. Perez said goodbye, and wiped a tear from his face. He knew what would happen in Doomingsland, and he was afraid his MP5 wasn't enough to protect him.

OOC: Ever try writing an RP while listening to the Schindler's List theme? I wouldn't recommend it, you get this kind of result.

The dieing Jackson McAbb, the leader for nearly 55 years in Turetel was confronted by the new Heads of Power, asking what to do about the situation. How would he feel if they overturned the longest withstanding alliance he had made. How would he feel about this and that, this and that. He looked about the room, vision starting to fade. He knew he was about to die. He was the oldest Turetelian leader, he was now at the age of 93 and had lead two nations, fought in several major wars, and had risen an empire from the depths of despair. He saw a light and was noted to say, "My legacy against what has been a provoking and contridictory ride, has lead to the rise of a nation, and the fall of its society."

Today the nation of Turetel mourns the death of its old leader, and one of the most influential leaders of society.

The funeral is to occur on Valentines day.

The Head of Forces, Clovis Champlain put his head down and let a tear roll. He was unsure of what to do. Jackson McAbb's alliance with Generic Empire and Doomingsland during the Rebels and Palombia campaign signaled a new age of Rebel busting, put it straigth foward, he was at a loss.

"Clovians and Heads of Respected Post we find ourselves a lose=lose situation. We can't fight either way and win, or lose, but we can choose. The Turetelian Liberal Hawks as I understand it support a war against the Genocidal fools, but the Turetelian Centrist and War Hawks defend their post of standing by our allies. [Macabea Submarine Pen]
The underground submarine pen, located under the bay, holding over one hundred and fifty submarines, opened the bays to ten individual cocrete submarine pens, letting loose ten Toledo class SSNs, loaded out to the teeth with twenty Principe IIIs, and ten MT-3s. The commander was Captain Wilhelm von Kafterbeich, a talented twenty-four year old captain, the youngest in the silent service.

In any case, the ten Toledo class SSNs moved out of the bay, fully submerged to keep their exit completely hidden from both Macabee eyes and enemy eyes. They would make their way to the location of the Rammissle fleet...

ooc: Ramissle, I am aware that you are now the official leader of the CFA. However, as far as I am aware, this action has not recieved the sanction of the memberbase nor has it even been raised before the alliance. Please, please stop this now, before you drag the CFA into an extremely uncomfortable position, and remember that as you a leader you also have responsibilitys as well as rights.

Don't mind the little blobs and dots, major cities are labeled. A little info about the terrain:

The entire coast is nothing but tall, jagged cliff except for a 50-mile long beach (shown on the map), which has more jagged cliffs sitting about 1,000 meters back. The entire country is a giant desert, the grey area being scorched, cracked badlands, and the yellow being rolling sand dunes. The green area along the river is the only fertile area in Doomingsland (and, therefore, heavily defended).

Maximus Helldawg, son of the Emperor, was well aware that his nation was on the brink of war, and was inspecting his Doom Legionnaries. They stood in a grand formation, stretched in front of him in the desert sands. He had 5,000 men in his command. His was an infantry legion, but, of course, he had MBTs to suplement them. Lots of them. 500 of the new M29A1 Arbiters were at his command, in addition to IFVs and artilery. His men were armed with the latest weapons at the Empire's disposal.

"Men! You know who our enemy is! They have taken no action as of yet, but rest assured, you will soon be decorating you homes with their heads!" he said with a smile. Typical Doomingslandian humor.

This is AWACS Thunderhead Two-Niner, unidentified bogey at vector 010, intercept and shoot down.

Roger that, Thunderhead, this is Blaze Six, will vector and intercept. replied Captain Marcus, callsign Blaze Six, an F78A pilot. He quickly kicked the bird onto double pulse, sending it to mach 5.5 for just three seconds, then heading back to cruising speed. He was now within 20 miles. He toggled two AMRAAMs for each drone. Blaze Six, fox two, fox two, two away! he yelled over the radio as two AMRAAMs ignited their engines and went steaking across the sky towards the unwary drones. As that was going on, a nearby destroyer moved to grab any wreckage.

In a vote of 7-6 the Turetelian Head of Post declared their alliance more valid and withstanding then the threat of genocide at that time. Also the nation of Turetel has declared that it will pull out of this threat for the times being, and at a time when they re-enter may no-longer be Turetel as a Republic, but as a Liberal-Hawk Democratic Empire.

OOC: In other words, my nation has decided to honour our alliance with Doomingsland and Generic Empire made years ago.

After receiving word of this impending war, ViZion feels the need to broker a cease fire before this war breaks out.

While sitting leaned back on a fine leather chair with both legs resting on one armrest Adolph Leighmar wondered "I don't get it. Why would the CFA risk war with us just to stop some genocide in Doomingsland? ViZion comes up with a half-assed peace plan while one of THEIR members declared war on one of the RWC. Perhaps they aren't very certain of victory or don't want to have another conflict brewing. Anyhow offering support for Doomingsland is as decent." Adolph took the phone and called his communicator.

Brown quickly responded. "Not suprised. Where was it son?"
"Just off the coast of Doomingsland. That particular one was collecting information on fleet positions."
Brown thought for a second. "We got the transmissions, right?"
"No sir. Darkstar 7 was in the middle of sending that information. I may be able to piece the statistics together, but I can't guarentee anything."
"Alright. Do that now. Make sure the rest of the UAV's continue their mission, especially the eight looking for SAM sites and the three getting power plant information."
"Yes sir!"

The Hatarian Military soon started to build up it's forces for the War to Defend Doomingsland against The enemy, already, Hatarian Subs were ordered to start a Blockade against Ramissle it self!

OOC: It wasn't your reasoning, just it was whom you attacked. Doom has a lot of allies... you should have waited to gather support and then done it, talking to Doom and limited allies of each side. :)

OOC: If you wish to get involved with the Neo-Tyr situation, I suggest that you tactfully contact any of the major participants (my computer time is at a premium still for the next couple weeks at least) in order to work anything out OOCly. That particular rp is going quite well, since Neo is being a stand up player and taking his knocks without crying at all. I have a lot of respect for him for that since not everyone likes their country occupied and their capital city crunched.

In other words, I personally don't want to see a decent rp ruined.

Good kill, Blaze Six. yelled the AWACS operator as the UAV errupted in a ball of flame and plummeted to the sea in a cloud of black smoke.

Roger that, turning inland.

That was the end of Blaze Six's patrol, now it was time for the coastal SAM and AAA instalations to do their jobs.

Radar Station Golf 2-1-9

An old reserve sergeant sat at his station within the bunker (actualy 200 meters below the ground, under the radar dishes) when he saw a blip on his radar screen. The massive DOPPLER radar system had managed to pick up the UAVs.

"Sir! I've got unidentified's on screen!"

"Oh?" replied his liuetenant, walking over to the sergeant. "Ya know, we just had an incedent with an unidentified UAV a few minutes ago. Bring the bastards down."

"Yes sir." he said, transmitting the coordinates to AIRDEFCOM, a few hundred miles inland. A corporal there then transmitted the contact to several Patriot PAC-2 GEM+ batteries, which then sprung to life.

All important air defences in Doomingsland are actualy subterrainian, with only a few old SA-2 and SA-3 batteries for satelites to see and think that's all there is. Well, the Ramisslens were about to learn otherwise. Upon the command of the respective battery commanders, several concealed silo doors swung open out in the desert. The launchers were then raised up on hydrolic platforms, bringing the missiles to bear on the aircraft. Finnaly, the missiles exploded out of their boxes, streaking across the sky towards the UAVs hunting for SAMs. The whole process from detection to launch took less than a minute.

BTW, I pulled out. There was some peacetalks, although I'm not really sure how they went on without you..... I tried to tell them. Oh well.

Theres some kind of anti-genocide act. I think Generia signed it. Actually, to tell you the truth, I'm not really sure what happened at all there. I'm sure something is relevent.

The Ensign got up and began to tell Preble the bad news.

Note, when he started, he was expecting CFA support. Unfortunately, I missed the link, and didn't notice this. Now I'm tied up elsewhere, otherwise he would have had my support without a moments hesitation.

The Incorporation has pulled out of the Doomingsland Area. Your airspace will not be penetrated again, as long as peace reigns in Ramissle.

OOC: Would it hurt you guys to READ THE THREAD every once in a while? I pulled out of Doomingsland, and I am NOT going to attack him for now. Also, as I said before, the plan was to invade with the CFA. This whole invasion is up in the air with us.
