Public Executions

In Kervoskia there have been a small number of revolts due to our new policy. We have about 150 of them in prison on charges of disruption of the public. I am not sure if it is against UN regulation to execute a number of these criminals in the vacinity of the public square in the capital, to make an example of them. Our Representaive Body has voted 26-25 to do it, so if it is not we hope to proceed in the name of security. If you have any objectins please respond.

What did they rebel against?

Under the former Prime Minister we were a Scandinavian Liberal Paradise with a good economy. Under him it went down to basketcase. At first the people wanted reform so when I was elected I sacreficed political freedoms for prosperity. Now, they rebel against this. I see this as a threat. Specifically they're rebelling against the governemnt you could say. If that is the case they'll be tried for treason.

I think public executions are babaric and offer no valuable lesson to anyone and only inspires more hatred among people. In fact anyone practising public executions should be hung from a tree in broad daylight if you ask me!

That is our goal. Rebels will only destroy the economy and disrupt progress. I have guessed that there are at least 1000-1700 of these rebels and with the help of the KRG (Kervoskian Republican Guard) tend to search them out and send them to trial. Of course not all will be executed because that will not do because I only wish to make example of a few. 150 of them have bee captured and I am contemplating on what to do with them. However we do not want to violate UN regulations for fear of backlash.

Execute them if the crime is bad enough. Why shouldn't you? Or, enslave them and sell them to other countries for work or send them to work in your nation's sewage treatment facility. :)

I wasn't aware that you could sell rebels. I will let the people decide just this once what to do. If they say yes to it, some of the rebels, the "freeloaders" will be executed, while the others jailed, or in State work.

Your country, sell what you want. Saige Dragon briefly sold homeless people and immigrants, way back in the day.

If you do decide for public execution, Number 1 though to Number 100 with the exception of Number 52 and Number 68 support you and your nations actions.

OOC: FYI: Number 1 to 100 are the titles of my nations higher ups.
