I've been racking my brains on this; and here is what I have come up with. What if we were to have an Earth based on Wh40K; a world divided by race and ideology; ravaged by war and politics, scheming and subterfuge; where the greatest heroes of humanity hold the line against aliens from without and heretics from within. With an associated system of planets, each race vying from control of Terra and the surrounding worlds; vast wars the likes of which 40K dreams of, could be fought amongst the worlds and stars of the 41st Millenium...In the Dark Future, there can be only War. And War I will give you.

Well, bear in mind they could be different factions of the same whole. For example; the spit between Inquisitors, those who fight the daemonic and those who see the advantage of bending it to their will. The Puritan and Radical Inquisitors ;)

All who are applying need to suggest what their nation/faction will be. For example; Witchhunters could be split into Adeptus Sororitas, Ordo Hereticus, etc.
As could Inquisition and indeed other major factions. Necrons and the different C'tan, different Tyranid Hive Fleets; etc. Space Marine Chapters and the like, allow for far more people to join

If this thing gets off the ground ill take Eldar...O and if we're splittig the factions up... which i think would be awesome... I'd take Ulthwe'

NOT CLAIMING BUT-if you separate Ordos Hereticus (Witch Hunters) from the rest of the Inquisition, then Ordos Malleus (Daemonhunters), and Ordos Xenos (Alien Hunters), should also be separate groups.

I know; thats the idea. Different factions of each race; so Mcleod could also be Tau. It would be mostly centred around an Earth, but also involving other worlds....think of it as less Earth 40K and more....Universe 40K :D

I don't have that much NS RP experience, but I do have RP experience from games and other sites.

Hey, I know its kinda late on, but could I enter as Space Marines, with my own chapter? I have the army at home, and can base this on them, Got history and everything. Failing that, NECRONS! I know somebody has claimed, but use different C'tan. If we are doing that, then I will go with Necrons, and take the Nightbringer, Kaelis Ra to the Eldar, The Reaper to mankind etc. etc.

Go to the Warhammer website. Find 40k and then go to Necrons. I think there are currently 2 C'tan: The Deciever and the Nightbringer. How expierenced a Necron player are you? If we both use Necrons, then I use the Nightbringer, coz I want him! Then, we work together to harvest the universe!

Sure i'll take the Decieiver, table top wise I have practically no experiance with the Necrons. I do think they are cool though and I do play the WH40K: Dawn of War, so I have some idea of the universes aspects.

I do both. Inquistor is a great background setting for 40K games, really fleshes out the story

Dunno, just the ultracool weaponry, extreme resilience and lack of any real weakness just seemed a bit too much like cheating. Plus, they have become the No. 1 n00b race on the board, and I never liked n00b races.

They are both sun gods and tend to draw a lot of Lascannon fire when some n00b dares to take on my Blood Angels.

Duh! Anything that has S=10, and T=8 is going to draw a fuck of alot of firepower

They draw so much fire I tend to call them Laser Magnets.

If anything draws fir its a Monolith. I went against this Guard army, he threw all his weight at it. By the time it was destroyed (4 TURNS of BATTLECANNON FIRS), my army had close th agp enough. Against Guard, Flayed Ones, and Wraiths are my fave

I played DA when I played with Space Marines a long time ago, and they have really good backstories, with the Fall or whatever it was, and them nearly going over to Chaos and having to atone, in their eyes at least. And you have the Ravenwing and Deathwing.

Somehow I doubt it. If you ever read WD, then you would know that the Hive Fleets have avoided worlds that have subsequently been found to contain Necrons.

i am taking the tau hunter cadre of shas'o fal'shia shin'lou.
colour scheme blues and whites. known to have some contact with the god of change (tzeentch for all yous who dont know) (but tau are supposed to be resiliant to chaos and physcic abilities but commander shas'o'shovah has had contact with a suspected chaos weapon for a while so lets just play and see what happens to their resiliance) they have also had contact with the grey knights as they have been fightinvg tzeentch on that same world

well i will be Space Marines chapter Raven Guard (its a real chapter look in the codex :P)

im no n00b. And I've benn playing the Necrons ever since they re-released them. And yes, I do itend on using the Phase Out rule

I trust you, Snake Eaters, just making sure these n00bs know. If I had a pound for every n00b I've played on the table (and these days they all play necrons, they think they're invincible :rolleyes: ) and forgot to use the Phase Out rule, I'd have £325.50 and that's no lie.

Brief Synopsis: coalition of orks who hire themselves out as mercanaries for more guns. They are looking/want to make the Dreadnaught(no, not a mobile sarcophagus). The only planets they occupy for any length of time is either a world rich in resources(until it's harvested out), and forge worlds/manufacturing worlds. Meks and warbosses are equally held, thus the bi-leadership.

Damn straight. Anyway, during this period of 40k the Blood Angels were the most blessed of the chapters, before the heresy and the flaw.

I should buy the blood angel book, not for army, but for fluff, etc.
