Tampa is regarded as a city rich in culture and money. Other city-states regard tampa as a lazy, ecxessive people, but will still trade for the expensive products that Tampa makes (primeraly jewlry). Although what tampa gains in high living quality and culture, it loses in military. Tampa's army is weak in comparison with other states. Besides trading, tampa stays to itself, foucusing on improving tampa and it's land rather than expanding into other territory. If faced with war tampa will try to avoid it any way possible, and will try to makes allies any time they get the chance, and that is one of the only times they will interact with other states.

the goverment is run by a king who has ultimate power over tampa. the governers are the next highest, they rule tampa and Ket-La. Then comes the lords who rule the small colony villages scatered around tampa. After that is the judges, and then comes the courtmembers. After that are the wealthy families who gain influnce i the government (this is not do to bribes, but the wealthy actually get legal into the government). Then the free men, and warriors. After come the farmers (who are lower class free men), and finally the slaves.

Shyat laka: Not recognised as a city anymore, Shyat laka has been overrun by Pirate raiders and is now a city in anarchy, with no peace for the remaining residents (mostly the women who were though prettiest by the pirates) due to the constant partying (seen pirates of the carribean?).

After a new shipment of slaves captured in a large scale raid on Ket-La, the army is increased to encoumpas 3000 frontline soldiers and a variety of ships listed below (note most are slightly damaged) :
4 light archer frigates [wood, 50 feet long approx.,1 in bad condition]
3 bronze tipped ram ships [wood, stone, bronze tip, 40 feet long approx.]
3 landing craft [wood, holds many soldiers, can land on beaches, 1 heavily damaged]
1 scout boat [wood, 20 feet long approx.]
1 armored heavy frigate [wood, steel plating, 120 feet long approx., carrys many soldiers, equiped for beach landing]
also we have ransomed their leader for 500 more troops bringing our frontline total 3500, because they dont have any currency. these raiders seem to be a mish-mash of captured troops and weaponry, not very organised.
Current situation:
Tampa is regaining controll over its government, and stabising its population. Tampa has lost its outer colnies to panama, including the large colony of
Dre-yet k'. Tampa and Ket-La are the only areas in the city-state that is under control; its colonies are in toatl anarchy and confusion. Riots and fights break out on the streets of the colonies, and gang fights are as abundant as the grass is on the great medows that cover the lands of tampa. The cities of tampa and Ket-La are in good condition, having more food than can be eaten, which is more than can be said for any other areas in the state.

Order restored in Rakon, Yam-Oh'
After a fight bettwen rioters and city guards, Peac was restored in Rakon due to the realisation after loss of life that the riots were for a lost cause, so the riot leaders stepped down. In Yam-Oh' the riots were silenced by an inovative method of having warriors encircle the rioters, and have people behind the set down wood and kindling. The warriors the retreated and oil was poured on the wood. A fire was started, and the rioters were traped. After half an hor the rioters surrendered and the warriors put out the fire.
Makaka Usha deeclares war, Crushed early
Makaka Usha, a colony that broke away from tampa, declared war on Tampa with the help of their sea raiding allies. It was obvious that tampa would crush opposition with virtually no hardship, and that is exactly what happened. Even Tampas small army outnumbered the rouges tiny "military" by almost 20x, but the rouges launched a strike on Ket-La anyway. The small force met with the garrsion of Ket-La, and within an hour there were no Rougs still alive or free. The garrison suffered the loss of only 14 men, and caputured 70 of the original 200 man army. This victory was not one that was verry benifical for tampa, exept for the eradication of the sea tribe that helped them, the annoying Fig tribe, cowardly warriors who only attacked small fishing convos and other defenceless targets, and the eradication of the rouge army. A small unit is being dispatched to retake Makaka Usha as a Colony of Tampa
Maka Usha retaken
Yut-Khi has been enstated as the new lord of Makak Usha, And the colony is being rebuilt.
Currently things seem to be going in Tampas favor. Great festivals are going on in The State, Order is restored, and the State has been deemed a kingdom, now that it is under controll. The Kingdom is at a Totaly functional point in time.
Many improvements have been made, and new roads, colonys and citys are springing up, Most of the Original Colonies have been turned into citys and More colonies are springing up. Tampa is now a thriving kingdom, however small, and it seems that peopl are happy, now at least.
