All the recent events had been coming together, moving rapidly forward. The death of Hans Stahlecker, perhaps one of the most well-known non-Fabuses in the Federation was something that while unpleasant, could be used to his advantage. It had just been revealed that Hans made a deathbed conversion to the Reformed Church, accepting the five points of Calvinism a few hours before he died. And it was also revealed that the doctor who had helped him when he had the stroke earlier, was a Catholic. Cartwright couldn’t pass this opportunity up, nor would he.

He had just recently been appointed as the Minister of Religion, and he wanted to make it clear, completely obvious, to the world, that he hated Catholics.


Standing in the bed of a raised black pickup truck on a packed intersection in Jackson City, the soapbox demagogue was bellowing his anti-Catholic venom through a bullhorn that was being held up by a comrade.

His words seemed to carry rather well in the relatively open environment. His voice echoing as he exaggerated some of the words to make his points better.

“Catholics have been a plague against our nation and people since the very first day we let them in here! It is not their choice to decide who gets into heaven or hell, but the will of the Sovereign Almighty alone. The reprobate pope is clearly not part of our elect!” boomed through the bullhorn at out into the crowd, before he paused for a second.

“This pope, Thaller, is a rotten race-mixer, and his church is founded on lies and perversions. If it were up to these reprobates, the entire nation would be handed over to sodomite scum! What will you do brother! What will you do? Will you let your nation become a giant Sodom or Gomorrah? Papists are ruining our nation, will you allow this brethren, what will you do?”

One of the men nearest the truck shouted, “Let’s kill them all! Repay them for 1572!”

Cartwright’s mouth seemed to be dripping with venom as the words rolled forth from his tongue, “Yes! Brethren! Take up the sword! Avenge the Huguenots of 1572 who were most wickedly slain under the orders of the demon pope in Rome! Just as Europe suffered from a demonic beast called a pope, so too do we now suffer! Take up the sword! The only good papist is a dead papist!”

The crowd, which had by now swelled to a mass of over five hundred thousand, enraged and armed fanatics, had been whipped into a collective frenzy. They started to fire guns into the air, stamping their feet on the pavement, as their collective roar thundered through the wide roadways and alleys, “Death to Catholicism!”

Cartwright grinned before shouting through the bullhorn, “The Church has been intimately involved in all of the terror attacks the DISFB committed against our people…Wilhelm Ernst is a well-known Catholic sodomite who was even seen on live news receiving sexual acts from a foreign whore woman! Will we allow this? What will you do brother? Tell me, what will you do?”

He then paused for just a second, before asking a question which he knew what the answer was, he knew their reply before he asked and before they answered. His face betrayed a jubilance not frequently seen in Cartwright, as he asked, “What is the only good Papist?”

The entire crowd roared back, “A dead one!”

He then fired a pistol into the air, shouting, “Then kill them all! Kill them all! For it has been predestinated! Kill them all! Take up the sword and kill them all!”


The people, caught up in the fiery emotions which were running high by now, ran off in all directions, guns blazing in the air, bright yellow and orange streaks, tracers, flying into the air against buildings and some just flying off into the air, to come down wherever. Their arms were flailing about and they were uttering curses and obscenities against the Catholic Church and the pope.

Off they ran, into the approaching night, to light up the night with the burning wood of the catholic churches and seminaries, which indeed would be burning brightly, through the night…

By decree of the Czarina, all foreign media have been ordered to vacate the homeland of Mississippi, particularly Jackson City, Biloxi, and Gulfport, within six hours or face immediate arrest and detention.


In the words of the Czarina, "We have no room in Mississippi today for any prying eyes from foreign spies and those who seek to cause intrigue and confusion. We need not to suffer from their lies and propaganda. It is best if they leave peacefully and avoid trouble with our authorities. A state of emergency has already been declared in Jackson City, and the gates that allow exiting the city, in the Fabus Wall, have been shut... Nobody will leave the city or enter the city, without special permission. Media already in the city may remain, but no new media personnel will be permitted into Jackson City until the emergency is lifted."

Robert heard the swelling of a loud roar. His younger brother (Alex. 15 y/o) also heard it. Robert ran to his brother in their purchased hom in Jackson City. The two were apart of the McCloud's from The Fascist Confederacy. They were on a family vacation to Mississippi in order to visit famous monuments and the birthtown of Czar Hayden.

Robert barged into his brother's room,"Alex! Hurry! Get your '74!" The two ran outside, barging through the door. Robert was armed with a 12 guage shotgun, his brother with an AK-74. They barged out just intime to hear the last of Cartwright's lecture. The two bretheren began chanting as their father--James--stepped out onto the street. He too was armed with a shotgun, only it was automatic. He raised his gun in the air, firing off a round at the end of the lecture. The crowds began charging in their general direction. The three decided it was time for action.

With the trampling of 'hooves' the mob ran for what seemed lie ten miles, but was more like ten blocks. They finally made it to a prominant papist 'church'. The three men heard the singing, the use of a capella which merely drew attention from Him. As if a single arm, the mob barged through the doors. Bullets richoted off the stone framework of the cathedral, shattering through the vile papist scum. Screams of Die you sodomite scum! and Burn in Hell you ni--er lovers! were prominant. Some of the men began ripping the oil laterns from the walls of the sactified grounds. They threw them into the choir loft on the second floor, watching as flaming oils splattered across the wooden fixture. Alex made his way towards one of the priests holding the mass. The priest fell back after tripping over his own attire, his head smacking into a prayer kneel; He yelped. Alex let out a loud, yet gutteral growl as he carefully--yet quickly--aimed his Kalishnakov and fired into the face of the papist declaring,"Heretic die! Popery is a sin!"

The mob continued to trash the church, tossing flaming bodies of visitors and priests alike out threw the stained glass windows. Rober quickly yelled while the believer flew through the glass,"Like your greed now! Die mother f-cker!" He shot at the woman as she went threw the glass, dismembering her lower body.

The father wasn't immune to the mob's actions either. He too did his fair share of destruction. He turned over the large oil vats in the storage rooms, tossing matches, zippos, and anything lit he could into them. He watched eagerly as the holocaust began to engulf the cathedral. A wooden rafter fell down to the floor, smashing several pews with the screatching of iron nails shattering like so many papist bones.

The mob exited the church, firing into the evening sky. Blood hued pigments filled the sky, a forboding essence had krept across Mississippi...

The SRG soldiers moved swiftly through the streets of Biloxi, they'd already rounded up eight bishops in the city, and were out to get the other five, it was going to be a long night, but the fires of the "papist churches" were burning bright and keeping the city illuminated in what would otherwise have been pitch black darkness.

The Czar had ordered that all the catholic bishops in Mississippi be rounded up and executed on May 4th, Alice's birthday, which was less than a week away.

He said he wanted to give her the gift she seemed to want, the destruction of the Mississippian Roman Catholic Church. And the SRG seemed more than willing to help, anyway, they'd always obey orders, even if a few didn't happen to agree with the orders all the time.


He had already issued a public decree, catholic church high ranking officials were to be arrested, but no violence against commoner catholics, or low-ranking officials in the church, would be tolerated.

For now however, the peasant mobs seemed to be doing as they wished, burning and looting in ever increasing numbers.

In Jackson City, night had fallen across the city. Robert and his father were still plundering. Alex had been told to go back home by his mother. James--the father-- watched as the newest burning papist church toppled in upon itself. They were in a smaller mob now, only a small group. The people were armed with shotguns to C-4 plastic explosives. They were ready to get moving now...

The small group walked for several blocks, finally approaching an untouch papist cathedral. They stalked around it quitly, listening to the crying coming from inside. They peeked in through a window, seeing several bishops trying to calm the weaping horde. Robert ran around the church, planting large C-4 charges in strategic points and injecting the electrical fuses. Finally, the group ran two blocks away and sat down. They waited as Robert caught up,"Okay, ready." He skidded into a sitting position, and pulled the pin, squeezing the lever. Three seconds later stone shrapnel flew through the air. Body parts scattered around the area. Glass in nearby buildings shattered as the church spires fell in upon themselves. Flames rose up from the debri, spreading to several nearby damaged buildings. One of was church school and the other was a priest dormatory.

The small mob cheered and laughed congratulating each other on a successful papist bashing. They cheered, firing into the night sky, the city being illuminated by the fires of so many inferno consumed heretic halls...

"Roman Papism in Mississippi is being dealt a death blow as we speak. The idolatrous churches adorned with paintings, statues, and other idols, are being destroyed and burned to the ground as we speak.

Indeed these very same churches that allow women to speak, and have Sunday schools, are being crushed and buried as we speak. Roman Papism is dead in Mississippi and will not and must not ever be allowed to rise again.

"This is the White Peoples Radio and Television Network... This is Joseph Mladic."

"We are bringing updates on the Catholic situation... Apparently..." (His voice is very shaky and his tone depressed, revealing just how upset he is to state this) "Apparently... The Czar has ordered the Special Republican Guard to surround majority catholic districts and keep non-Catholics from entering into them, or at least disarm them before allowing them to enter... Furthermore, he has decreed that any who interfere with the firefighters attempting to control the fires raging in most churches, are to be arrested or shot on sight. He has called for an end to all looting and violence and given people six hours to return to their homes..."

The Imperial Wizard of the White Knights of Mississippi, the Catholic, Bertrand Navarre, had basically deployed his WKMCK paramilitaries to protect any victims of religious violence, be they Catholic or Calvinist. He didn't want to see internal strife tear his homeland apart, and he wouldn't see it, since he had taken action.

The SRG had been deployed, but it wasn't nearly enough to contain the problems, granted their elite status meant they could face any foe, there simply weren't enough of them to cover a country the size of Mississippi.

With the realization by most Calvinist rioters, who also happened to be WKM members, that their Imperial Wizard, a wonderful man whom they would have idolized were not idolatry a sin, was a Catholic, they suddenly just stopped and went home. It was completely unexpected, but they had been swept up in the fiery emotions and passions of the demagogues and their senses had been dulled by pretty words from charismatic anti-Catholics.

It was all over now, most of the fires were contained, a few still raged here and there, but they would be brought under control in no time.

The total damages were placed at 3 billion dollars in destroyed property. It was believed at least 15,000 people were dead and at least four times that number injured. About 3/4 of the dead were Catholics, and the bulk of the remainder were Calvinists.

The worst single instance of violence occurred twelve hours into the pogroms, when a brigade of Calvinist paramilitaries were ambushed by a reinforced regiment of Catholic militia, in the ensuing eighteen hour firefight, no less than 2,000 Calvinists and 800 Catholics were killed, and at least twice that many were wounded. All in all, it had been a rather bloody melee, and most of the dead were sadly, civilians. But now it was over, finally ended.

The SRG and RGISA soldiers were out on the streets keeping order in conjunction with local authorities. The government had already pledged to return all the Catholic Church lands that were seized, to the Church, and to pay reparations and compensations to any and all who were affected by the several days of violence.

All totaled, approximately 600 churches were destroyed, three times that number heavily damaged, and at least a dozen seminaries were also blown up or burnt down.

But for now, the Catholic and Calvinist militant groups had signed mutual cease-fires and they were uniting behind the banner of national defense. It wouldn't count for anything if one side one against the other, if their nation was overrun by foreign swine, and they all knew it.

Besides, they had gotten along well before, they could try getting along well again, it just might work...

In Jackson City, rumors had been leaking out that many top Catholic nobles, mostly in the Smith and Salazar families, and their relatives, were seeking to leave Mississippi, deciding that things were just too anti-Catholic in Mississippi to warrant staying there.

Reginald Smith, while certainly wanting to get away from the anti-Catholicism, would never leave Mississippi. However, some of his children certainly would want to leave. Basically his oldest son, Thomas Smith, an SRG officer candidate in the Mechanized Infantry, was looking to leave the academy and then eventually leave Mississippi, the anti-Catholicism at the academy being unbearable. He had been there for four years and the last six months had really been too awful to bear. He couldn't take it any longer, he was resolved to leave.
