The Republic of Razonia, formerly associated (politically) with the East Pacific and the United States of Valoria, has emerged from 25 years of civil war, insurgency and strife to become an independant nation. Formerly a province dominated by the oppresive communist structure of the Allied States, Nationalist freedom fighters triumphed in the liberation of Razonia's capital city (Razongrad) from the hands of the Bolsheviks, and have since started to build an efficient economy. We are on the road to civil reform, and have triumphed over high crime, crushing a once all-penetrating black market by legalizing drugs, taking from the gangsters their most profitable line of income. Our mandatory military service may sound foreboding at first glance, but a further examination of Razonia's political history in the 9 years since our nation's founding will show that not only have we pushed for peace internally and externally, having only gone to war once against Valoranian troops after an attempt to seize the Volkstag (People's Legislature); but our military also affords free post-secondary education and vocational and weapons training, allowing us a strong defense and an educated populace.

We welcome all informational inquiries, policy inquiries and tourism information requests, though citizens of Communist nations can expect an intensive interview before admittance to Razonia is granted. We hope to develop relations with our Socialist neighbours, however, over time.
