This is a film being made just for the Czar's viewing, it is being made purposely from the viewpoint of a foreigner, somebody expected to be ignorant of MS ways. Thus this is basically secret IC or just FYI OOC.

Alice had just set the projector up, it was about to start, the film Roger had been waiting for a few months to see, it would include Army Group Jackson City, Army Group Coastline, the Coastal defense, the Fabus Wall, and many other exciting things. He loved seeing just how well-defended and heavily fortified his empire was.

"Welcome to Mississippi, this is a cultural film to show you more about our glorious nation, and some of the lesser well known facts about Mississippi. We will be seeing, the "Fabus Wall", the defensive fortifications that are all around Jackson City.

Secondly, we shall be going into Biloxi and Gulfport to observe the massive airbases and the coastal defenses around Gulfport. Indeed we shall see many thousands of bunkers and anti-air weapons.

Now, come with us, as we delve deep into the culture and things that make Mississippi uniquely Mississippian.

First stop will be the "Fabus Wall" the 15 foot high by 50 feet thick steel reinforced concrete defensive wall that totally surrounds the 200 mile long by 100 mile city of nearly 110 million people. The fortifications contained within the wall include nearly 200,000 machine gun positions, 40,000 artillery bunkers, many thousands of infantry bunkers and command bunkers, communications bunkers, supply bunkers, and nearly 20,000 SAM batteries located in key spots on or near the wall.

The wall was built so that it was angled as best it could be, and built to cling to natural terrain features, so that it wasn't just a castle style straight wall which would be a sitting duck to high explosive artillery fire. Over 500,000 million cubic yards of concrete had gone into the construction of the wall.

The fortifications extend underground, about 200 feet, and are linked entirely by an undergound railroad system for moving troops and supplies. No less than 4,000,000 soldiers live and work in the "Fabus Wall" and the complex of bunkers and barracks underground the wall and near the wall.

Crossings in an out of the city may only take place at approved heavily guarded gatehouses."

The Czar smiled as the film continued, seeing his brilliant capital city, and his magnificent fortifications, it made him strangely happy, he knew the city would likely never fall to a direct assault, it was brilliant, he loved his father for giving him such an empire.

The film was about to continue...

Looks good. I'm considering having similar walls built around Kahta City after the Sir Sam Fabus Line has been completed.

"We travel now to the Army Group Coastline, with their headquarters in Gulfport, this over five hundred thousand man force is tasked with defending the coastline of Mississippi against foreign invasion. They man the Coastal Defense Line along our southern shores, our only shores. The force consists of 22 infantry divisions, 4 mechanized infantry divisions, and 3 armored divisions."

"The Armored divisions are held in general Army Group Reserve about 30 miles behind the main infantry units which are deployed right on the beaches most likely to be used by enemies. Only the Czar's orders can release the armor from reserves. But the Mechanized units are given a degree of local independence to handle any matters that may emerge."

"As for the actual beach defenses themselves, there are over 2 billion landmines on the southern beaches, and over 50,000 bunkers, artillery positions, and machine gun nests, throughout the length of the coastline. The most impressive of the batteries is located 4 miles from the primary beach near Gulfport, it consists of 64 bunkers, several command bunkers and support bunkers, nearly 400 machine gun nests, 24 SAM batteries, 36 AAA guns, and 100 155mm howitzers. The entire position is manned by a garrison of nearly four thousand soldiers and is considered one of the most secure firebases in the country. The outer perimeter is ringed with landmines and razor wire, and numerous patrol units keep an eye out in the surrounding forests. The defensive base is known as Moonshine, supposedly because the commander of the base, before it was named, replied, when asked what would happen if the base was attacked, "If they tried to swallow us up, we'd burn going down..." and thus the base was dubbed, "Moonshine", although the official desgination is Gulfport Echo Alpha."
