Communist Coup!

Golencia
09-02-2005, 03:23
Bombs blew up at the Governors palace in Hadens as Communist Guriellas attempt to take it. This is the end of the 2 year war that has been raging on in Hadens. For the first time it has been released to the public. After a 2 hour Street Fight the Communists took hold of the Governors Palace and holding Prince Ruben Aragon Hostage.

When news reached the Emperor he ordered a news conference. s the Cameramen snapped shots a furious Emperor stepped up to the podium:

"My son and your future Emperor has been captured by Communists hiding in the colony of Hadens. They used coward tactics to get where they are today and refuse to release my eldest son until the Government Gives them liberty. This we will not do. My son has asked that we retake the country even if it means his own life. This we will do. However the Communist Army has reached an amaxing 6 million men. This is why we are requesting help from the International Community. A world broadcast will be sent, and our noble Marines will begin Entering the Island in precisely 1 RL hour."

The Emperor steped down and sent a message to all nations.

Communist Cowards have taken the Imperial Colony of Hadens and taken the eldest Prince Hostage. We are asking help in combating the estimated Communist Army of 6 Million. Any help will be appreciated.

Respectfully,
Emperor Ruben Aragon II

OOC: People can aid the commies as well. Sorry for the poor RPing as well.

Credonian Presidential Palace 9:31 pm CST

President Sutton sat peacefully in his office looking over various classified documents relating to national defense and intelligence when suddenly his aid bursts through the doors and into the room.

"Mr. President sir!!!! There has been a communist coup in Golencia. One of the executive family members has been taken hostage according to reliable Credonian contacts!"

Kaimoni looked up and rose to his feet, shocked at the news just told to him.

Calmly he looked at his aid.

"Im going to address the world. Gather the press in the press room."

"Right away Mr. President!"

The aid quickly rushes off to alert the press. Moments pass as Kaimoni contemplates what he will say to the world and directly to the nation of Golencia, and after a few moments more, he was finally ready. He made his way through the palace hallways, guarded by his secret service agents, who opened the door to the press room. As he stepped through the doorway, he was immediately blinded by the flashing of lights on the press camera's, but he made his way cautiously to the podium where he cleared his throat, straightened his tie, and looked out into the audience of reporters and journalists. Camera's began rolling as he prepared to deliver his statement.

"Fellow Credonians, and peoples of the world, I am deeply shocked and saddened by the events that have taken place within the nation of Golencia. Once again, evil communist have reared their ugly head and have violently taken hold of a nation while holding one of its high leaders hostage. Once again we must face the horrors of just what communism really is and how ugly of a thing it can be. Once again we must face a new communist threat, but once again, Credonia rises to the challenge of combating these communist foes. Tonight, I pledge Credonia's support to the first family of the government of Golencia. We pledge our support to the citizens of the nation of Golencia. While Credonia has had minimal relations with this nation, we share a common goal, to rid ourselves of communist oppression, and this is what we must do now. We must rid Golencia from these communists who have taken hostage the Golencian first family and taken control of the nation by military force. Today I pledge to the people of Golencia and to the Golencian first family that we will indeed fight these communists. We will rid you of their presence, of their threat, of their oppression. We will use any and all means necessary to do so, which is why I am ordering all Credonian military forces around the world to upgrade to DEFCON 3. We ask any Golencian government official who is watching this, to contact the Credonian government, or more specifically, myself as soon as possible so that we may obtain the information needed to rescue your first family and return power and control of your nation to the first family. I ask that all Credonians pray for the safety of the Golencian first family. May they persevere through these times of hardship. Credonia will remain dedicated to the cause. We WILL rescue your first family, and we WILL return power of the country to them. Thank you. I will not be taking any questions at this time. I will make another address in coming hours when have been placed in contact with the Golencian government."

With that, Kaimoni took a step back from the podium and exited the room to speak with his national security and military advisors on possible courses of acton involving a minimal use of military force.

Rapion sat as his desk, not pleased to hear about violent ambitions by the communist rebels, but pleased nonetheless. Rapion prepared an open statement.

"Comrades of the world,
The events that have arisen in Golencia are troubling, but it is not the Communists that are the problems, it is the government. I, Rapion, Praetor of the Raptorian Federation, openly support this Communist Coup, but will not take any military action. We will only supply aid to the communists if it is necessary. Good luck comrades of the Red.

OOC: Lachenburg, not to be nit-picky, but that is a rediculous number of military forces to be mobilizing towards a situation like this. I mean seriously. Your mobilizing as if your going into all out war with Golencia. For realistic purposes sake, you should seriously tone it down. You dont even know how many communist forces there are. You'd totally be wasting billions of dollars for no reason.

He then motioned at his aide to type out a message that should be telegrammed.

The Communistic Nation of Jurrik, offers a hand to the soldiers of Communist. We regret to hear that they're own government will not grant them freedom. Upon this, we offer 3 million soldiers to assist these men. The land of Jurrik shall help those who are discarded by their own.

"heh, the communist nations around the world want us to execute this "prince" as they put it." said one of the Communist leaders. The True leader looked up. "they want what? How barbaric are these people? I was hoping for a bribe or something then let him go, but jeeze these people want his head on a platter. I suppose they've forgotten the Socialist Ways. I follow it as closely to Ghandi as i can."

The others looked at him and laughed. "Thats a good one. So what should we do?" said Jerimone. "This guy's Royalty we kill him and the Emperor is liable to kill us all."

Jerimone looked confused. "Oh." he walked away. Then he came back in a rush. "I almost forgot, you know im so stupid sometimes. Don't look at me like that. No seriously. Boss. Boss. BOS-" a gunshot rang through the corridor Jerimone's blood splattered across the wall. "Does he ever get annoying to any of you?" he said looking around.

Everyone nodded.

"Allright leathernecks. Some communist scum have taken hold of the colony. They have some issues wih religion and well, they believe their leader Harbicus is a God. To make a long story short, he's not and they have our Prince, my Brother." Said Lt. Col. Aragon. "We have to go in there and get him back. Anyone who surrenders should be treated as any other POW. Understood?" he looked around to see heads nodding.

"All right this little strip of land that we'll be landing on is friendly." another Marine stood. "Sir, I thought we left this colony unguarded?"

"Your right. This are and several others scattered accross are held by local citizens. The Majority of the Population wants to be rid of these bastards but by law they have no weapons. So using whatever they could find they beat the commies off and took some strategic land. This is why we must Hurry before the commies decide to assault it."

The Marine sat still as confused as ever. "OK, Lets go." 2,000 Landing Craft were loaded up and made several trips to the shore and back. 2,000,000 Marines were deployed just 20 Miles north of the Governors Palace.

We are highly interested in supporting the communist movement currently taking place in Golencia. While we can not commit any troops at this moment due the the massive offensive being undertaken in the old U.S. states in the western territories of North America, your government and its actions would be fully supported by Communist Louisiana.

We would also see no problum what so ever helping to fund military use and the training of foreign troops to fight in guerrilla campaigns against those who are working against the communist movement in Golencia. We would also be more than happy in sending military advisors and stratagist to help with your nations or any other nations support of the Communist movement.

Maybe at a later time we can commit troops to the cause, but they are tied up at this point in time and we do not want an open war against Communist Louisiana and her territories.

"At the moment, Premier, we can send anyone you want. Any ammount you feel is needed." General Rima, head of the Republican Guard, said to Hasan Muhammad.

Muhammad was unsure. He didn't want to send his men to fight a lost cause. Of course, by aiding the Communists, Hallad might be able to gain a pro-Halladi government.

"Perhaps we should send in support from the marines? A batalion?"

"Whatever you want, comrade." Admiril Rabi Faqaur said. "And a fleet, right?"

"No, well, yes. A corps, and small fleet."

"As you wish comrade. I shall compile the forces."

* * *

The Fleet was put together in a matter of hours. Most of them were from the same naval base, in Ryydra. The fleet was a small, but capable task force. More than half of the Deliverance class Transports were being used, fifteen of them holding 5,000 combatants and 20,000 logistical troops. One John Connolly class CVN, one Insurgent class CGN, three Beta class SSNs, two Udaloy-II class DDGs, and five Gepard class FFs.

The men, mostly active service troops, would be at their boarding area within a day. The 20,000 logistical men were all conscripts. They had basic training, but weren't good with fire arms. They were effective for what they were, all 20-30 years of age formerly unemployed Halladi's swept into the military. At the age of 20 Halladi's were given the time to get a job or be drafted into the army to serve the nations logistical needs.

They loaded into the Helicopter and it took off. "Now Stuart this is what i want you to send to all Nations aiding us:

The Czar looked over the report from the Council.

"This is unsettling," Czar Rekjyavich Ivan Andropov III told the group assembled in front of him. Yuri Golovko, Minister of State Security, nodded.

"Our men in the field have been getting reports about them for awhile, but none of our analysts thought it would erupt." Ivan nodded.

"I see. Obviously, this needs to be stopped before other states can get aid to Golencia." Count Franz von Papen, the foreign Minster, nodded.

"Indeed. We don't want a fellow Prussian getting run over by these satanic bunches." Ivan looked at Hindenburg, the commander of the Imperial Army.

"How fast can you get a few men out there?" He shrugged.

"I don't know. Honestly, this seems more like a job for the Navy, really." Imperial Admiral Marko Herkjyavich, commander in chief of the Royal Navy, nodded.

"I agree. I can send First Fleet out there along with a few Marines." The Czar nodded and turned to Duc Cosimo de Loire, the commander of the Burgundian Guards.

"You are to place the Burgundian Guards on DEFCON 2. Once Yuri here gets info that international aid is being sent to the Communists, you are to mobilize them and order an attack on Golencia. Keep property damage to a minimum."

"Yes, sir. Wait, you said attack?" The Czar nodded.

"Correct. The colony of Hadens will come under Greater Prussian control -- supervised by me -- until things settle down, in which case it will be turned back over to the Golencians." The Duc nodded.

"Yessir." The Czar looked over the crowd.

"All clear?" They nodded.

"Good. All orders are to be carried out immediately. Yuri and Herkjyavich, stay behind. All others dismissed." They got up, saluted, and left. Ivan looked at the two.

"Yuri, keep in touch. I want strict monitoring of communications coming in and out of Golencia. Clear?" Yuri nodded.

"Yessir."

"Good. Keep me posted. Everything you hear gets FLASH priority." He nodded.

"Yessir."

"Excellent. Dismissed." He saluted and left.

"Admiral Marko, mobilize First Fleet to prevent international aid from coming through. I also want at least twenty-five boombers in the water. All non-Greater Prussian vessals are targets. First Fleet is to go to DEFCON One."

"Yessir." Ivan nodded.

"Good. Be alert. I'll let planning to you. Dismissed." When the Admiral left, the Czar picked up the phone to Sky Marschall Ivan Aerostalvich, the Commander in Chief of the Royal Air Force.

"Marschall? It's the Czar. I want flights going over Golencia immediately. The whole nation is to become a no-fly zone. All civilian traffic is to be grounded effective immediately. All non-Greater Prussian military aircraft are to be shot down, no questions asked. Clear?"

"Yessir."

"Good. Get to it."

Announcement from the Kremlin

"Greetings and God Bless. With the recent events unfolding in Golencia's colony of Hadens, I feel the need to address the situation.

"All communist rebels are no longer official citizens of Greater Prussia and are enemy combatants. No law will protect their non-existant rights.

"I have mobilized forces to defend Golencia from the terrorists and from outside interference. Any nation found supporting the rebels will be held accountable for attempting to dislodge a government of the Greater Prussian Empire.

"As the Arch Chancellor of Greater Prussia, I have declared Martial Law in Hadens, and proclaim it to be a military colony under the control of the Burgundian Guards and myself.

"I also have ordered all civilian traffic in and out of Golencia, whether it be by sea, air, or land, to come to a complete stop. Burgundian Guards have been deployed to see this out.

"Duc Cosimo de Loire, Commander of the Burgunidan Guards, has also mobilized the Guard and will prepare for a strike on Hadens should things get ugly.

"Also, I order all Greater Prussian forces participating in the crushing of the rebellion to go to DEFCON One. All non-Greater Prussian combatants are to be shot on sight -- no questions asked. This also applies to foreign vessals coming to Golencia. Do not tempt fate.

"God is with us, and He has commanded us to defend His Divine Will and Greater Prussia, Blessed with His Eternal and Everlasting Grace. Those that wish to remove this will face his Divine Wrath.

Near the colony of Hadens

The morning sun lifted its gaze above eastern horizon, greeting the battle-hardened sailors and pilots of the 6th Carrier Fleet, as they chaotically scampered about the deck of the LCS Gladiator. It had been a rather boring 2 weeks for these 6,000 men, sailing across the endless blue stretches from the far flung nation of Taledonia. By now, the fleet had reached it’s objective and was now 35 miles NW of the war torn colony.

Major Rudolf Becker always loved the smell of the shimmering sea below, its salty breath blowing into his tanned and wrinkled face from the winds that now pushed across the deck. After an hour of intense briefings, he was relieved to be out on the deck ready to face the days challenging goals.

Becker and his group had been assigned to target and destroy several heavily fortified enemy positions near the planned Lachenburgian landing site, 15 miles away on the dusty shores of Haden. Most of these targets consisted of bridges, command bunkers, pill-boxes and other defenses, just like the same ones he had bombed during the Taledonian campaign.

Climbing into the cockpit of his Sz-8 and made his typical pre-flight checkup, making sure that each system on this complicated bird was still performing as it should. Pulling back the clear hatch above him, he started the engines and began to adjust the controls, sending his plane slowly hovering above the deck. At 50ft, he pushed forward on the throttle and his plane flew off into the dim morning light, his partners closely following behind, maintaining a modified finger tip formation.

Each of the 10 planes now sped up to an astounding Mach 1.3, streaking above the ocean surface at 200 ft. Once near the shore, two groups of 5 would break off and move down opposite sides of the shoreline, making sure to maintain the already stealthy profile of their aircraft. Once the targets were sighted, the planes would move in and destroy them, hopefully evading the dangerous SAM sites that most likely guarded many of these structures.

“Shore coming up, get ready to break.”

Each of the two assigned groups slowly moved apart, still maintaining a loose fingertip formation, once the sandy shore appeared close enough, the groups broke ranks and began their prowl for targets further inland. 2 minutes after break up, Becker sighted the first of many targets, lying near a large ridge two miles inland.

“Alright guys move along that ridge and keep low. When I say now, pull up fast and get those bunkers and the re-fueling station. I’ll go for the bridge.”

“Got that Hund 3.”

Making an abrupt left turn, the group managed to stay parallel with the rocky ridge, protecting them from most SAMs in the area. At two miles, each pilot began to arm their weapons inside the hidden storage areas in the SZ-8’s fuselage.

“On my count, 5…4…3…2…1…NOW!”

Swooping up to 500 ft., Becker and his group swooped in on the enemy positions, sending a shrieking barrage of GBU-30 and AMG-88 Air to Surface missiles towards the multiple enemy positions on the dusty ground below. Placing the large steel bridge in the cross hairs of his HUD, Becker sped up to nearly Mach 2 and released his deadly cargo of AMG-88s on the rickety structure. Within seconds, the area was covered in fire and shrapnel from exploding stockpiles and burning fuel. However this day was not totally won. Becker immediately notice the four blinking dots on his radar screen. Now that he had opened his weapon bays and attacked the enemy, his plane was now vulnerable to missile defense sites all around the area.

“Shit, lets get the hell out of here.”

“Got that, Capitan.”

Each plane broke formation and darted across the open skies at nearly Mach 2.5, the missiles following close behind. Releasing chaff and desperately trying to evade the missile that was now quickly approaching his plane, Becker was now becoming worried. Unfortunately, his fears were reinforced, when a massive POP followed by a violent jolt, sent his aircraft barreling into the land beyond. Looking behind him, Becker noticed that the majority of his left wing was now in flames and his left engine was also immobilized. At 1000 ft, despite his efforts, the plane still continued to fall and Becker knew that he was doomed. He tried to reach for the ‘Eject’ lever below, but the plane collided to the ground before he could even grasp it.

Darkness now enveloped Becker’s world as his plane skidded across the open fields of crops. His fate was now in the hands of those who could reach him first.

Hadens Waters

First Fleet finally arrived after a day of travel at top speed to the waters. A bunch of transport ships full of Royal Marines were tagging along, and about fifty submarines.

Finally forming their perimeter, the submarines took off a couple hundred metres out, with the boombers sitting about about a square distance under, ready to send a SLBM with conventional and white phosphourous warheads into the belly of a battleship or carrier should the oppertunity arise.

About six hundred metres down, two Red October-class boombers were sitting, waiting should they get the orders.

Twenty-six nuclear-tipped missiles per sub were waiting to launch, just in case things got too ugly to handle.

"More than you can count. I'm glad Pschycotic Pschycos gave us these submergable battleships." The Admiral nodded.

"I am too. Anyways, you think we'll need the Harriers for ASW work?" The Commander shrugged.

"I don't know, but we haven't gotten any reports from the GRU about military mobilizations. I ordered at least five Hawkeyes to be up ant any one time, as well as a handful of Raptors from the HMS Romanov." The Admiral nodded.

"Sir!" The operator in the CIC said to the commander there. "We have reports of incoming unidentified fast-attacks!" He checked the screen and called up to the flight deck command.

Incoming subs from the north, send four Harriers to blow them out of the water.

Negative, sir. Word from the Fleet Admiral -- they're friendlies.

Say again?

Negative, repeat, negative, sir. Fleet Admiral says their friendlies.

The Commander got off the comm and notified the operator of the new info, then the comm rang.

Commander, this is the Admiral. I want two Los Angeles' on those two
submarines as an "escort." Make sure they know who's boss.

Aye aye, sir. He turned to the Officer of the Comm.

"Get me the Dallas and the Houston."

"Aye, sir." A few minutes later, the comm crackled.

Dallas here. What's up?

Captain, you've got two Romandeos Skipjack-Class fast-attacks coming:
They're friendly. You and Houston are to escort them and watch them. Make
sure they know that we're in charge.

Alrighty, then. Out.
======================================
The Dallas

Captain Bart Manusco got off the comm and turned to the sonarmen, Jones.

"Hey, Jonsey, you pickin' up that sub?"

"Aye."

"We're gonna come up behind him and ping him." Jones laughed.

"Okay."

---------
The Dallas Went on what was nicknamed the "Kitten." It was a modified CAT drive to fit the smaller fast-attacks instead of the massive missile subs the CAT was originally designed for. Amy modern sonar system filters the noise out as background stuff.

It dove to eight hundred metres, too deep for sonar to be effective, went out to sea some, and rose very gently. It took awhile, but they went undetected.

After a game of "Hide and Don't seek," The Dallas came behind the Skipjack, in the trail of the noise let off by their screws, making sonar effectively useless. It rose, and let out a giant sonar PING! The Captian laughed. "Gotcha!" He got on the Comm to the Skipjack.

Heya! I'm the Capt'n of this sub, Captain Manusco. I'm here to escort
you to the Dersconi Fleet formation. Now, if you are capable, follow me.

President Zaitsev smiled as he read the message sent to him. He smiled wider as he watched Golencian news broadcasting all this wonderful information.

"Yura, do anything you can to save their asses. Golencian monarchy must fall."

Yura Gruzinich smiled that evil grin of his and stepped out of the President's office, and into the dark corridor. He calmly entered his office and started to make a few quick phone calls...

Everything was ready.

At Velikgrad Airbase...home of the Red Airforce...

An attack force was being amassed, and a substantial one indeed. All Ratheian IL-76 aircraft were being prepared for a paradrop.

The aircraft were being filled with BMP-3 and BTR-90's. Forty of the aircraft were filled with BTR-90's, another forty contained BMP-3's, and forty more were fitted to contain crates upon crates of munitions, food, and supplies.
Altogether it was an impressive force of over three hundred APC's to be sent to aid the Communists. The supply crates, filled with machine guns and high explosives (C4, grenades,) would be able to keep the Golencian resistance happy.

One aircraft was different, though. It was filled with crates of "Shmel" rockets, and would be devastating when used properly.

To assist the IL-76's in breaking through Golencian territory, three hundred MIG 1.44's were to flank them.

And coming in directly ahead of them...

Tula Airbase-Home of the Red Bombers

The dark skies broke open and spread light upon the assembled scene. Over two hundred T-4MSTR bombers were being refilled with high-explosives, namely, ten KH-101 long-range cruise missiles. The bombers were to neutralize Golencian air defense on the ground so the IL-76's could come in.

The plan was set, the clock was ticking.

Landing Beach: Tangerine

Ross Von Gauss and his fellow Kriegs-Kommandos slowly waded to shore through the murky, emerald waters that siffed across the shore. He and 10 other men were an advanced scouting party sent out to scout for enemy defenses and prepare the beach for landing. Behind them awaited almost 1000 MAC-04 landing craft of the 3rd Expeditionary Force, steaming ahead at nearly 5 knots. They only had 10 minuites to secure their sector and it would be one tough job.

Pulling out a set of high-quality binoculars from his waterproof pouch, he slowly scanned the coast for any activity. Fortuantley he did not see anything, but he wasn't ready take any chances. Slowly crawling onto the beach, each of the 10 men quickly scampered up to one of the many sand dunes that covered the landing zone. Peering through his binoculars agains, Ross again look for any signs of enemy activity. This, though, he saw what he was looking for.

Nestled in between the broad rockfaces of a large cliff 200 meters left of their postion were several enemy machine-gun nests well camflauged by the nests and materials draped forward, making them almost impossible to spot from the air. Ross quickly looked at his watch and then chimed into the radio headset attached to his coat collar:

"The is Ranger, we have spotted enemy positions at the following cordinates

2446 1228 2445 2990 FX

1886 2009 1794 2280 FG

Request immedeate Naval support. Over."

Just as he finished listing the corrdinates, the whole sky began to lite up and the battle began. Behind him, several dozen landing craft of the first wave along with a stream of missiles hit the beaches. Soon, dozens of explosions began to fill the once peaceful beach as more and more men flooded out from their craft into immenent danger. Looking over at his team, which was still 100 meters ahead of the oncoming Lachenburgian force, summonded their attention and began to give orders.

"Alright guys, we maintian this position until our buddies arrive. On my mark, open fire."

Looking for the right time to fire, Ross patiently waited and waited. After 5 minuites, an enemy column of soliders appeared in range and Ross took his chance.

"See those bastards over there...Give em hell boys! OPEN FIRE!"

Each of the 10 men rattled away on their weapons, slaughtering most in sight. However, the enemy had noticed them by now and were beginning to concentrate fire on their position. Before long, Ross and his team was forced back by the oncoming fire, only to be pushed forward by the waves of oncoming Lachenburgian troops. By the end of the day, the beaches were covered in corpses but the Lachenburgian force had landed on the shore.

Imperial Decree

The Emperor has demanded that all Fleets not apart of the Greater Prussian Empire be reduced to 3 Ships Maximum. As the threat is Inland there is no real need for a strong Naval Presence.

Any ships that have not declared support we will be fired upon and sunk unless they leave Golencian Waters. Merchant Ships are no longer permitted to the ports, all will be sunk if they attempt to land. Greater Prussian Fleets have permission to sink any ship that violates these orders.

---------End--------

The Green Light Flickered and 5 SEALs jumped from an air plane. They freefell for a long portion of the time until releasing thier Parachutes. They slowly went to the land aiming for the Governor's Courtyard.

As they got closer to the ground they could easily see two sentries walking the courtyard. An unsuspected surprise, yet the highly trained SEALs were prepared. "Bravo Element." Said the Commander. "Take them out." They directed their chutes and one of them managed to land at an angle kncking one sentry to the ground. The other landed behind the second Sentry and using his Knife took him out of the picture.

The Bodies were dragged to the many Bushes around the courtyard and hidden. Thery had no Radios and the Commander was certain they werent checked on. They put their parachutes tightly together and stuffed them into another bush. They made their way to the Door. Very quitely they could here voices:

"you have 30 Minutes to walk around then you go inside, guards will be watching yes...."
"Allright."
"And no funny business yes....."
"Allright can i go!"
The Team leader signaled the others and they ran from the door diving behind some bushes. A Tall proud man walked out alone. He looked around surprised to see no guards. It was the Prince.

"Laura, Anthony is alone and in the open."
"Roger Command. Grab him and upon approval the Black Hawk will be sent in and attack on City shall commence."

The Commander looked around "Able keep watch, Bravo call in Birdy." The Commander crept behind the Prince and covering his mouth he grabbed him and pulled him into the Bushes. "Laura Anthony is Home."

"Roger." Within Seconds they could hear the propellars of a Helicopter and explosions in the distance. The Crackles of Gunfire were loud and alarms sounded. As the Helicopter lowered to the Ground Guards came running out bullets flying everywhere. The Helicopter's Gunner mowed them down giving the SEALs enough tiem to make it to the Helicopter. As they Jumped in they threw Prince Ruben into a seat. Bravo and Able were aboard but the Commander was giving cover. "GO! GO! GO!" He yelled the Chopper began to lift off and the Commander jumped on Board.

The Entire SEAL Time fired on the Guards and eventually they were homefree. However Prince Ruben was in bad shape. During the lift off a bullet hit him in the right upper chest. he had to get to a hospital.....

Soon, they were joined by the IL-76's and the MIG's.

As the bombers jetted forward to their cruising speed of Mach 3.2, half the MIG's followed and accelerated to their cruising speed (a healthy good Mach 1.8)

The others MIG's stayed backed with the IL-76 aircraft as escorts. As soon as the bombers left, one hundred TU-160 bombers met the IL-76's and proceeded forward as a combined force.

'Sonar Phone' he thought to himself. He listened to the message and his face turned red.

"Who does that ******* think he is giving ME orders like that? I wasn't told we'd be in anybody else's Fleet."

He stopped his whispered tirade and silently pointed to his comms specialist. His own underwater telephone was immediately placed in his hand and he hit the switch to activate it.

With its duel flight decks and vertical launch catapults, it could hold and launch two and a half times MORE planes than a regular Nimitz class supercarrier, plus a subdock under the hull, the Archangel-class carriers were no less than floating naval bases.

And yes, they do have the kitchen sink. Lots of them.

Fleet Admiral Kamarov was waiting for them as the helocoptor landed. When the Count was out, he came up to greet him.

"G'day, there, sir! Welcome to one of the largest ships in the Dersconi Navy! Actually, there are about twelve others like it, but what the hell. So how was the flight? Not too choppy, I hope." He led them to his cabin in the Tower as he conversed with the Count.

The alarm was being sounded for a quick deployment. F/A22 Raptors, F/A14 Tomcats, and F/A-18 Hornets were taking off like flies after a twenty-second lapse in time. The duel flight decks helped speed up the process.

So did the massive amount of launch catapults.

They headed out to sea, waiting to intercept the targets. All missiles and guns were armed, obviously.

An Ensign knocked and came in, and saluted the two hochos.

"Admiral, sir, we have a dispatch from the Kremlin." He laid the folder on the desk so both the Admiral and the Count could see the incoming Ratheian planes.

Royal Marines' Camp

The Colonel was looking over the charts again when he heard the Galaxies fly over and start to land at the airstrip set up.

"OKAY, BOYS! START UNLOADING!"

"YESSIR!" came the response and a bunch of eager Marines ran over to the Galaxies, wondering what the Colonel sent for. It must be big, as a Galaxy could hold a fast-attack submarine -- bigger than anything land-based is. And there were five of them.

The Marines' faces lit up when the cargo hatch was open. Shiny Independant Quadratreaded Scorpion MBTs, a few M3 Bradleys, and a bout thirty Cobras.

It was Christmas in August.

One Galaxy was dedicated for the sole purpose of spare fuel, just in case. When that was unloaded, all of the tanks and their munitions were unloaded, then the Bradleys, then the Cobras. They were taxied to a nice formation, and the Galaxies' pilots left with a case of Bourbon. The Colonel looked over them.

"Okay, boys! Stock them up, we're moving out at 7200!"

50 miles North of Gated City

After almost 4 days of continueous marching and constant, sometimes brutal firefights, the members of the 3rd Expeditionary Force had finally stopped to rest near the newly regained territories around Gated City. Although this had been indeed a great victory, the High Command was looking for more.

After the apocalyptic fighting near Haden City, the Communists were still pulling much needed reserves into re-establishing a defensive line to halt the oncoming allied forces from the north. Because of this areas on the flanks and even behind Communist held areas were becoming very veunerable. Thus, Operation: Fieldgoal was now coming now the table.

Consisting of a 3 Division Spearhead, with 5 Divisions on enveloping from the flanks and 2 Reserve Divisions this attack would move in a blitzkrieg type fashion over the Northern Plains of Haden and pincer the city Feldcrest from the West and South-West. If successful, this operation could derail the entire left flank of the enemy and spell victory for the allies. But for the time being, the Lachenburgian Army was in a state of rest.

On that sound, the artillery opened fire on the city, and the armoured sectors made a blitzkreig into the city gates, with A-10 Warthogs, Cobras, and Apaches following behind.

Their orders were to kill everything that lived, as there was no chance now a friendly could be hit.

They broke inside with relative ease, and the Bradley's got to work.

The M3's were equipped with massive flamethrowers instead of the normal cannon so they could burn things down, while the choppers, A-10s, and tanks worked on flattening the city.

After about three hours, half of the city was flattened -- literally.

Suddenly, an RPG round decommissioned an M3.

"It CAME FROM UP THERE! FIRE!" THe Commander yelled.

And it was done.

Four A-10's with Napalm and four Cobras wiped out the surrounding ten blocks of city. The Commander shook his head and picked up his radio.

Form a perimeter around the city. Kill everything that doesn't wear a Dersconi uniform.

When they were retreating, a massive hoard of terrorrists opened fire on them, taking out a squad or two of Marines by surprise. The foot soldiers dived for cover as they opened fire on the group, taking hits. THe gun battle was bloody and raged on.

For about two minutes, which is when the tank commanders realized what was going on and turned their turrets around.

The twenty tanks opened fire with their Browning M2 .50 calibre HE rounds and their main cannons on the group.

It didn't take long until the streets literally spewed blood.

"CONTINUE RETREAT!" About an hour later, the city was surrounded, being fired into from the tanks. An RPG here and there hit a tank, but it was silenced by a ATG missile from an Apache. The commander was seen talking into his radio, and two hours later, everyone within a ten mile radius knew why the evac'd.

Ten B-52 Stratofortresses armed with ten ton bombs and White Phosphourous bombs came soaring from the North, circling around their targets, and thirty seconds later, it rained bombs.

Anyone who wasn't covering their ears probably went deaf, the sounds of the bombs detonating within a few seconds of each other. THe White Phosphourous, burning at 2700 celcius upon contact with oxygen, effectively turned the whole city into a glowing white blob.

About fifteen minutes later, when everything cleared, you could have never figured out it was a city.

There was a giant crater, and that was about it. The Commander looked on.

"Okay, send a team in. Check for survivors, and make sure they aren't classified as that."

"Yessir." It was impossible for their to be survivors, but it was just to make sure.

As expected, they returned with a 'negative.'

"Alright, boys, this city is done, and we need to get home." The Commander called in to the Gole High Command.

The Ocean

As sunset came around, the waters were completely still. It was a very solemn moment. All of the flags in the Fleet were lowered to half staff in the Fleet. A brass quartet played three of Bach's chorales, and at the end, everyone stood at attention as the lone bugler echoed out Taps. It was hooked up to the loudspeakers, so everyone within a twenty mile radius could hear it. If one looked out at the fleet from the shore, you could see the silouette of the bugler in the center of the half-visible setting sun, its rays emitting from the dieing light. In the background, the Pisces battleships half-surfaced to have an aroura of Saint Elmo's Fire in the background, completely surrounding the fleet.

60 miles South of Feldcrest

Moving across the vast open fields at around 80 Kilometers per hour, the 3rd Expeditionary force was making good time. Everything had fallen into place and it was only a matter of time before Feldcrest would be in the deathly grip of the 3rd Expeditionary Force. By now, Lt. Colonel Rolf Hansen was quite relaxed and was having a great observing the peaceful scenery of the open plains from atop his Pz-1 Main Battle Tank.

Removing his set of high powered binoculars from the leather pouch strapped to his side, he again looked out over the evening horizon, trying to catch a glimse of the gazelles that usually grazed upon the grasses of this area. However, what he saw through his binoculars caught him compltetley off guard.

Rumbling through the countryside 3 miles below was large formation of little black dots, most of them being Soviet-style tanks and APCs. Clustered around them appeared to be the figures of some type of Infantry force.

Immedeatley putting his binoculars down, Rolf grabbed his small radio and alerted the rest of the formation, now barreling towards the on-coming force:

"This is A Company, we have visual confirmation on a large enemy force approximatley 3 miles west and heading in this location. Move into battle formation and engage, Repeat, move into battle formation and engage."

Within seconds, the whole force had pivoted around to face the enemy and slowed down to a mere 20 km/h. At around 1 mile, the first rounds of the oncoming Pz-1s began to light up the dark sky.

BOOM!---BOOM!---BOOM!

In unision, each line of tanks continued to fire round after round into the oncoming enemy force. Since most of the enemy tanks were T-55s or T-60s, they were unable to return fire until the Pz-1s were nearly on top of them.

At 500 yards, the PAC-RAT APCs let loose several volleys of HE rounds at the Enemy Infantry, now pinned down behind the smoldering ruins of their own Tanks. In only 10 minuites, nearly a company of enemy troops had been reduced to a few stragglers, while the Lachenburgian force had only sustianed light causalties.

When night finally fell, the beeming lights of Feldcrest lit up the Northern horizion. By morning, a whole new type of conflict would unfold and it would be no walk in the park.

877 Miles from Golencia...

The sonic boom shredded the skies as the bombers hurtled through like a knife through butter. Red and glowing with the heat of a five hour cruise at Mach 3.2 they began a short drop in altitude to 70,000 feet. As they moved closer to Golencia, moving at nearly a mile every two seconds, they prepared for launch.

"Hammer, this is Sickle. We're within missile range of Golencia. Prepare for launch."

"Sickle, this is Hammer. We copy. Proceeding to configure rotary launchers."

There was a quiet hum as the rotary launchers prepared for attack.

And then, in one smooth motion, 480 miles from Golencia and closing fast, the bombers dropped their payload.

Two thousand KH-101 cruise missiles left the bomb bays of two hundred bombers and hurtled forward, accelerating to Mach 1.8 as they headed to bring doom to Golencia.

The variable geometry wings of the bombers configured themselves and the fleet began making a wide, arcing turn.

They were coming home.

OOC: Sorry for being so late.

As the night lit up with explosians alarms sounded and the men quickly fired into the air. 55 AA Guns, repeatedly fired as the bombers made their way through, no matter what happened the people wouldn't forget the Ratheian Treatchery of hitting Civilians. As more and more ammo wasted through the air more bombs exploded. The Men fired an endless stream destined to hit something.

After the Enemy attack had turned and left the Military marched through the Countryside and City it had hit. The once proud City of Port-City had now lost all its manufacturing capabilities as almost every square inch was hit. 150,000 Civilians Had been Killed in the attack and an estimated 2,000 Soldiers had been as well.

------------
Marching On.......
------------

As Soldiers had begun to prepare for an all out assault on Brendas Burg and Hershoma, they were ordered to halt. After the fierce threat in Feldcrest the two cities had surrendered without a fight. However by the time Golencian Forces marched inside of the City, the Communist Occupiers had long since fled. The Returning Marines were greeted with confetti and flowers and seen as liberators. Although they had not known he wherabouts of the old leader the Marines did know that hundreds of Civilian Bodies filled houses as they were killed before the communists left.

Although Feldcrest had not yet fallen the People of Golencia celebrated with large parties and gifts for all, as a new holiday was declared, "Purification of Hadens".

They are cruise missiles, you moron. You don't have to fly over the target. I launched them from hundreds of miles away. They have their own guidance systems.

Peect? Wonderful English.

So you keep your airbases in the middle of crowded metropolises?

And even if they do, a crusie missile is a smart weapon. It can hit you on the head in a crowd of people.

Feldcrest

All Batteries, Commence Firing!!!

BOOM ---BOOM! ---BOOM!—BOOM!

WOOSH!

On cue, the area erupted into a series of sizeable shrieks, whooshes and booms as nearly 400 pieces of artillery began to hurl projectiles at the huddled enemy defenses surrounding the now burning city of Feldcrest. For almost 6 hours, the Lachenburgian Expeditionary forces had been pounding the area with shells, missiles and bombs with great effect. Many enemy tanks, mostly Soviet built T-60s and T-72s were reduced to smoldering piles of ruin and once glorious defensive structures had been blown into pieces. Even the city itself was engulfed in firestorm, as many of the shells were filled with Napalm to thwart any possible areas of resistance within the city. It seemed as if the Communist defenses were melting away, if the Recon photos were correct, that is.

Finally preparations were being made for the first assault into the city itself. Since it was imagined that the majority of the fighting would take place within the clumped up ruins of the colonial city, the main attacking thrust would be comprised of mainly Infantry and Light vehicles. Heavily Armored vehicles would stick mainly to the larger avenues and would be supported by heavy amounts of Infantry. Nobody wanted to see a massacre after almost 3 weeks of unparalleled success. By now soldiers were making the required adjustments to their equipment and placing sandbags and other assorted items around the more vulnerable parts of the Tanks and IFV’s that would take part in the operation.

At 15:05 everything was ready and the word was given. Rushing towards the city limits, 2 Infantry Divisions advanced towards the southern limits of the burning wasteland, while 1 Armored Division would make its way in on the western outskirts of the city, lumbering across the now deserted Interstate-10, the main artery of transportation and escape. Being one of the first to enter the city, Lt. Colonel Rolf Hansen was quite uneasy about the surroundings. Although many of the towering buildings had been reduced to nothing, piles of rubble and burned out complexes still covered the wide expanses of the area and good hiding places for the opposition. Rolf’s fears were comfirmed, as the first of many ambushes began.

“Incoming RPG!”

Shrieking out of the hazy darkness, the RPG round made its way towards the advancing column and struck Rolf’s tank, making a rather large ‘THUD” and jolting the tank back. The silhouette of tracers round followed shortly behind and left the Lachenburgians rushing for cover.

“Concentrate fire at those buildings!” Rolf shouted, as his gunner loaded a HE round into the gun carriage of the Pz-1.

BOOM!

The round glided right into the former apartment building, sending the top half of the building collapsing towards the ground. By now, Rolf could see his opposition in the distance and greeted them with 3 more HE rounds. By now, the entire column had joined in and enemy resistance began to fall apart. Several more RPGs managed to decommission another PAC-RAT and disable a Pz-1, after blowing off one of its tracks.

Much of the same thing occurred across the vast expanse of the city ruins, confirming to the oncoming offensive forces that the Communists were finally ready to put up a fight.

We're on the way...

There was an impressive shockwave rippling behind the T-4MS as it rocketed past the advancing MIGs.

Not a single T-4MS had been shot down. Not a single T-4MS had been hit by a bullet. They were powerful, majestic, and best of all, fast. They had simply outrun everything fired at them and that that hey could not outrun they avoided. The sky was large, after all. And they were coming home.

The bombers flew home passing the fleet of 150 MIGs as they flew to invade Golencian Airspace. Armed with five RVV-AE's carried internally and another five AA-13 missiles internally, the MIGs were well prepared. THey were within 300 miles of Golencia, and closing.

After the coward strike Golencian fores began to rebuild first by replacing the damaged AA-Guns. Then by Imperial Order F-35 JSFs from the Air Craft Carriers were to be in Flight on patrol at all times.

"Prepare for take off." Came a voice into the B-2 Bombers Cockpit. "Run way is clear." Heard in B-2 Bombers all over as they took off into the Air. 95 Were airborne with 35 F-117 Stealth Fighters as an escort. In complete stealth they moved towards Ratheia for a bombing on the closest Air Base.

Golencian Airspace

The MIG's were advancing towards Golencia when they noticed some odd blips appearing on their radars.

"Sakharov, I've got a lock. Shall we?"

"Roger, prepare for fire. For the glory of Communism!"

The MIGs located the enemy JSF's with ease using their phased-array NO15 and began deaccelerating to make a missle run. The B-2's were marginally mroe difficult to detect, as they kept flickering on and off the radar screens. They would be ignored for now. The fighters were most important.

The MIG's were flying at 68,000 feet, one hundred and fifty miles away from the JSF's, and closing.

City Hall, Center of Feldcrest

Only one thing was left un-conquered. After nearly 4 days of gruesome urban fighting the soliders of the first attack wave had reached the city center. It too, along with 90% of the surrounding area had either been flattened or severly damaged and all that stood was the old 2-story city hall, burned out and blackened from the fires that raged within the city several days ago. This old structure was the only form of major opposition left within the city and taking it would end this terrible battle once and for all.

Hunched down behind the immense piles of rubble strewn across the once beautiful city square, Lachenburgian soliders waited to charge the city hall, their eyes constantly shifting around to spot any enemy activety. The anxious Private Marques Dupount and the rest of his squad layed in the same fashion, huddled behind a former bakery. Each man had seen his fair share of fighting and all they wanted to do was finish this, once and for all.

"Hey Dupount, check your rifle. I think it has some mud in the chamber." Staff private first class Martin Von Hisen quietly voiced, making sure only the lowly private and his squad heard his coarse, raspy voice.

Glancing down at his FN F2000, Dupount quickly cleared the chamber of the weapon as best he could. Just as he looked up, all hell broke loose.

"Pour à la maison, Pour la Liberté, Pour la Victoire!"

"AHHHHHHHH"

BOOM!---BOOM!---BOOM!

POP--POP--POP--POP--POP---POP--POP--POP

BOOM!---BOOM!

"ARGHGHGHH....MEDIC!!"

Rushing from his position, Dupount and his squad were engulfed in the sea of soliders, tanks and APCs that now moved towards the fortified structure. The city hall itself seemed to glow a firey orange, as thousands of rounds from Communist rifles and machine guns tore through the abandoned city square.

BOOM!---BOOM!

Two tank rounds slammed into the building at unparalleled speed, sending the parts of the lower floor flying off into oblivion. Within seconds, the left side of the building collapsed upon iself, setting off several ammunition stores within the building. Most soilders hit the dirt and gazed up to see a Apocalyptic malestrom of fire cascade over the remiander of the building, incenerating any living thing within. In only 3 minuites, the objective had been completed and the last stronghold of communist power within Feldcrest had finally been vanquished.

After a long lapse of complete silence, the entire force around had broken into jubilation, leeting out booming cries of triumph and victory. Upon the smoldering flagpole that once stood above the now destroyed city hall, the flag of Golencia was proudly raised for all to see.

At Lachenburgian headquarters, news of the victory was met with handshakes and wine, for now the tide of the war turned in favor of the allies. This was truly a great day that would go down in the halls of history.

"Sir incoming Bogeys." siad Lt. Wilbur during their patrol flight.
"OK, boys there here for a show, alert command about this." replied Captain Harrison. After recieving orders the pilots sent an Urgent message to Base Command in charge of Air Operations.

We have incoming MiGs, believe to be Ratheian. Preparing to engage
and alerting High Command. All flyable craft should be airborne other craft
should be Alert 5. I repeat Alert 5.

The JSFs turned and headed in the direction of the MiGs just as alarms sounded on the ground. Men flocked to planes and AA Guns. The Air Marshal issued several orders.

-----Encrypted Message to F-117 Nighthawks-----

Turn from escort and engage incoming hostiles. More friendlies are being
airborne and we need to make sure they manage a Victory. After engaging
enemies you are to return to escort. B-2s will continue course and will
be far ahead of you. However should anything happen you WILL be needed.

-----Message to Grounded Pilots-----

Get Airborne at steady rate. Rush and defeat is certain. Get a steady flow
and we can easily repel such a dully thought attack. Sacrifice yourselves for
the good of the Empire. Allies are on alert and we hope for an intervention.

-----Mesage to B-2 Spirit Bombers-----

Escort will temporarily leave. Continue course your stealth should provide
enough cover. Do not keep steady course. Weave through until you reach
destination. Your escort will be back for your return flight.

The MIG was a full-size fighter, two engines, large radar, and excessive "combat persistence". They entered into missile range of the enemy JSF's and, to make sure that the survival rate was minimal, fired two missile per aircraft.

The bays opened and thirty-two MIG's each fired a missile load of one AA-12 and one AA-13 at the approaching JSF's. There was a roar and the missile took off, accelerating to Mach 2.78 as they headed to destroy the enemy aircraft.

In accordance with a new Ratheian strategy, all the aircraft turned back and accelerated spreading out in various directions to avoid detection by the enemy.

((Impressive, Lachenburg. But it's not over yet.))

Ratheia...

As news of the enemy bombers filtered in through the MIG communications, Ratheia went into what is usually called "lockdown".

From Velikgrad Airbase and several others across Ratheia, four hundred MIG-31's took off into the skies and began counter-scanning the skies. In conjunction with them, thousands of radar bases and SAM sites flared into action. Coastal defenses, both naval and aerial, flared into life as well.

Ratheia would not be stopped by Golencia. There would be nothing left of their puny fleet when it arrived.
