"It has become apparent that the international community has turned its back to the problems on the continent of Africa. The entire region is ragaved by civil war, resulting in millions of innocent men, women, and children dead each and every year. The international community has turned its back because the resources and time nessesary to fix the problems are something that no one is willing to devote. Credonia has been exploring and experimenting with this as is evident in the Somalia conflict that has just ended not too long ago. We too have fallen victim to the same accusation that was made about the international community, however, it is the pledge of this nation to change that. We will bring peace, stability, and progress to Africa, however, our approach will not be like one that we have undertaken in the past. We will not impost a democratic government on the nations within Africa. Instead, we will help to establish a government that the PEOPLE want, whether it be communist, democratic, monarcaic, etc. The people will decide what is best for them. In addition to this nation building role, Credonia will provide humanitarian assistance to nations who need it, such as Nigeria, Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau, Algeria, Somalia, South Africa, etc.

Credonia recognizes the risks involved in undertaking such an endeavour, but we are devoted and dedicated to the task and cause of progressing these nations, and ending the years of civil war that will only end with outside intervention fighting on the side of the people."

I agree with you that we need to bring back stability to the African continent. I've been placing close attention to Rwanda. With your permission, I'd like to send in an intervention force.

Permission is not needed to intervene in Rwanda, however, Rwanda would definitly be one of the first targets in this humanitarian aid campaign. If your interested in joining the coalition, I would be more than willing to assist you. My goal is to begin a massive, yet steady, progressive sweep of Africa providing aid and taking problems into our own hands (such as getting rid of the Janjaweed militia in Sudan which continues to displace and slaughter innocent men, women, and children).

The glorious communist state of Kriegorgrad is shocked this strange endeavour, should the people of Africa want a good region, they should get off their backsides and do it themselves...however, should you require Kriegos assistance, we may be able to help.

However, Kriegorgrad will, after stabilising the region, setup a government that is linked to the Kriegos government, ensuring Kriegos stability is passed onto the trouble region, we'd also need to keep a military force in Africa. Indefinitely.

Oh, and hello again Credonia.

With some experience in this sort of activity, His Omniferocity's government has no desire to send troops into Africa for any reason not associated with defending the Dominion or its allies.

EOE has had little traffic with sub-Saharan Africa to date, due to local instability. However, Evil Overlord Enterprises is willing to send economic assistance teams to stable areas of the continent (with the permission of local governments) to encourage the growth of free markets in support of Credonia's mission. Each EOE team will be accompanied by a security force sufficient to protect the team and local economic assistance stations. If local airfields, ports, and roads and other infrastructure components are insufficient to EOE needs, Dominion engineers will build new ones.

Credonia, a humble, generous, and forgiving nation has no problem with allowing any nation enter this coalition, so long as their intentions are pure and uncorrupt. The great nation state of Credonia has chosen to embark upon this endeavor to benefit the peoples of Africa (modern-day Africa, so that there's no confusion). These people truly do need help and we as a unified civilized body of nations has an obligation to help them in and and all ways possible. We must all come together as one, in one unified effort to provide as much assistance as possible for these people despite our quarrels, pasts and histories with each other, despite the anamosity, distrust, dislike, and hatred for one another (if there is any). Our goal is not to conquer. Our goal is not to plunder. Our goal is not to create more problems. Our goal is to solve problems, help the peoples who have such problems, help them plunder the riches of their own land, benefit from their own land, benefit from their own hard work, bestow in them the ability to do what they want, when they want, however they want without having to worry about restrictions due to their current environmental, political, or medical conditions. It is our obligation, our duty to do everything within our power to help them. I cannot stress that enough. We must put an end to the oppression and suffering. We must give these people happiness, freedom over their own lives, freedom to choose what they want without being oppressed and discriminated against because of it. This is a campaign to do ultimate good. We cannot sit back and allow this to happen any longer.

ViZion applauds this action with Africa, and we wish to let it be known that ViZion wishes to aid Credonia in its moves, as we have land in Africa. Though life in ViZion's African states is fine (though there are certain area's which are still in need to help), we do realize that much of Africa is in dire needs of aid, and we wish to help in getting the aid to the people of Africa. (We're located in Tunisia, Angola, Zambia, and Tanzania)

I agree with Credonia. My intervention force is to ensure stability of central Africa. I might place a small colony in Rwanda to enure that stability is kept. My plan is to ensure stability of Rwanda, Nigeria, Sudan, and Libia.

Since Credonia owns Somalia and has established a number of bases within the territory, all nations part of the coalition may use the bases in Somalia as a staging/grouping/regrouping point for this campaign.


Also, a conference will be held soon to devise the plan of "attack" for this campaign. Each nation has a unique problem, and each strategy must be unique for each specific nation, which is why we will have a conference before we proceed. More information will be posted about this conference sometime today.

I'm probably going to use one of Credonia's bases in Somalia to launch an operation to sieze the guerilla held Rwandan airport and use it as a base of operations. If that's alright with Credonia.

As night fell over Rwanda, 24 "Alpha Force" special forces operators came in to the air port (which is near the edge of the city) by Black Hawk helicopters with their miniguns blazing. While they came near the airport, an AC-130D gunship was targeting rebel vehicles and personnel in the airport, being careful as to not damage the runway or control tower. The helicopters finally came over the airport and released the operators. The rebels were trying to fight for every inch of ground as they slowly retreated. The technical near the guard house was being used to fire on the operators but was quickly destroyed by the gunship. At last the rebel forces had retreated outside the airport, and the operators set up a perimeter and gave the OK for the rest of the force to arrive.

It is with great joy that the return of Credonia is punctuated with this awesome humanitarian effort. Emperor Alaric Tan'it, in his enthusiasm to help in this endevour, has pledged a three-fold plan, which the Empire of Xeraph will fund in it's entirety.

The Emperor has directed the Surgeon-General, Military Branch, to assemble and deploy to all the nations of Africa one of Xeraph's state-of-the-art MASH Units. These units are capable of expanding to a medical compound able to meet any medical need. Further, the Emperor pledges to expand these medical compounds into full-fledged research hospitals, complete with hospices, birthing rooms, and 'anti-grav' surgical suites.

The Emperor pledges to keep safe the coastlines of Africa. All African nations that have a shoreline will have an appropriate number of CBG's guarding them.


Lastly, the Emperor pledges all diplomatic help to any African nation that requests them. This diplomatic help will be initiated by the transferring of 600 million USD into the Bank of Xeraphia's Rwandan branch, for dispursal by Imperial officials.

As the rest of the forces began to arrive, they deployed all of the vehicles and troops into the airport with the special forces units guarding the perimeter. Some of the buildings that were damaged during the raid are being used as hangars for aircraft. We are using the existing runway and watch towers have been put up all around the airport. A titanium alloy wall with anti-scale barbed wire is being put up around the perimeter.

ooc: are there any nations that are in immediate assistance on the eastern coast of africa? My nation is in the pacific with colonies in the indian ocean... so any access to west africa would be a stretch logistically.

As for my plans, if there is any open space, the Commonwealth of Azazia is seeking to expand its empire, which is more of a liberal empire. Ultimately the goal is to either have direct control if the people so desire, or develop the nation such that it is prosperous and also loyal to the Commonwealth.

Credonia humbly thanks Xeraph for its assistance with this most noble and worthy cause. Credonia will soon be mobilizing its own forces to prepare for mounted attacks on the nation of Sudan to supress the militia's attacks upon the people. As most of you are aware, there are literally MILLIONS of displaced peoples within Sudan and within the surrounding nations caused by the attacks by the Janjaweed militia group who have been terrorizing the people under the protection and support of the Sudanese government. Credonia cannot and will not allow this to happen. The influx of refugees has impacted the Credonian territory of Somalia, putting a strain on the already strained resources of the nation, yet Credonia has admittedly turned its back to the problems of its own territory, however, we are fully aware of the situation within Somalia and in Sudan and from this point forward, we will do all within our power to help the people.

To the nation of Azazia, this is a formal statement and shall from this point forward be one of Credonia's principal policies regarding the African continent. ANY nation that comes into Africa with the purpose of taking over or denying the independence, sovreignty, and general civil rights of the people will very soon after see Credonian troops knocking on their very doorstep. Credonia is dedicated to the protection of the African people and we will see to it that Africa is rebuilt and all of the nations are independent and self-governing and we will remain in Africa for as long as it takes. We will brook no aggression from ANY nation that challenges our plans to create a stable African region, so to the nation of Azazia, if you do not plan on providing humanitarian aid, I think it will be in your nations best interest to keep your troops off of African land. THAT is a threat, a threat in which Credonia is willing to do anything and everything to back up. Dont test the patience or resolve of the Credonian people and the nations that are and will soon be a part of this coalition of nations, for you will soon find yourself in a world of trouble militarily, economically, and politically.

Official Open Statement to the Government of Credonia

The Commonwealth heretofore has made no aggressive statements regarding any future plans for the continent of Africa, its sovereign government, let alone its peoples. The allegations laid against the Commonwealth are quite frankly, considered vile, disgusting, and utterly not acceptable – not to mention unfounded – to the people and government of this Commonwealth. Our nation is a stable parliamentary democracy with a constitutional monarch as head of state. Our people enjoy a vast array of civil liberties and a great deal of economic freedom and prosperity; we are a fine example of a liberal state providing for the rights and privileges of its citizens while managing a transparent government. Any attempt to assail those fundamental characters of the Commonwealth is also found to be unacceptable.

Quite frankly, this government is astonished at the level of aggression stemming from a nation that prior to today has had no involvement with the Commonwealth. While we acknowledge previous statements aiming to increase the level of free-trade and economic development in the underdeveloped African states, that acknowledgment in no way admits to any plans to deny the African people of their civil rights, independence, or right to self-government. We vehemently deny any and all accusations that attempt to tarnish the people of the Commonwealth of Azazia and their elected government, including those entirely baseless accusations of the Credonian government.

And with regards to those threats leveled against the people of the Commonwealth; the Commonwealth government acts in the best interests of her people and will vigorously defend the interests of the Commonwealth both at home and abroad. Any attempt to impede the sovereignty of the Commonwealth or to impeach the security of the Commonwealth either/or militarily, politically, or economically will not be tolerated and will be responded to in the swiftest most efficient means available.

However, despite our extreme dissatisfaction with the diplomatic tact with which that government has handled these affairs, our quarrel and displeasure is not with the people of Africa, and so we continue to pledge our dedication to aiding those nations that seek the assistance of the Commonwealth in nation-building regardless of the threats of Credonia.

With the base set up at the airport, the task force 112 dispached 50 "Alpha Force" special forces snipers into the city ordered to shoot any Hutu rebel attempting to murder anyone. 6 convoys consisting of 12 M-12 "Battlefortress" tanks and 12 AAVs fully loaded with troops to go into the city and suppress any violent protests and killings.

But in short, the US and the UK asked for UN weapon inspectors into Iraq.
They find nothing.
US/UK forces go in to "disarm" Iraq.
They don't.
They destroy the Iraq military and Republican Guard (Both of which were defending their country).
Weapons not found, allied forces now need a reason to be in Iraq..... a good one.

Yes, i admit getting rid of Saddam is a good thing, but the war started over WMD, not Saddam. If the US wanted to get rid of Saddam, they should have done it in the years when they opposed commies with armed might.

Bearing that in mind, they haven't invaded N. Korea, China, Cuba (I could go on), but they haven't, it was just a crappy excuse to stay in Iraq and to have another good war on Arab ground.

Bush says 4 more years--------- well i'm pretty sure it's gonna be 4 more wars. Next stop Iran!
