Hampton, Norfolk

The dictator of Norfolk, Berd, was alone in his office in the Hampton Community, next to the Glouster, or merchant, Community. Norfolk was different than most. It was not broken into divisions or districts, but communities that were united when he declaired he would unite the Virginian Union.

His teenage face of 15 shown in the light. He was practically an adult, being his grandmother had just died at the age of 42, very old. His face shown in the early morning. The Chesapeake Bay was rough as usual. Large wooden planks were used like boats to glide along the waves that came in. The boards were heavy, but was fun to play with. He himself did so Religious Mass once a month.

Their military was not of a large issue, however. Fishing and Argeculture was. Large amounts of fish were being brought in daily, tons and tons by the ship load. The same with the hunting of wild deer and grizzly bear. Norfolk was becomming more and more economically stable as a common currency, tobacco, was being formmed throughout the Norforkese Rule.

The CityState of Norfolk was growing at a rapid pace and would soon enough be a power soon enough. The next goal after economic stability, military forces.

You were supposed to make your factbook in your own thread. And try using spaces inbetween sentances and check your spelling and grammer.

Mind copy/pasting this to your own thread and deleting this one? It will kind of clog this factbook up.

The economic growth had gone on for a few months now and the next priority, Civil Defence, was on the now-organized government. The mission was to get the 890,000 people in Norfolk to form a militia, and make 3% of that number, 26,700, would become part of their army. The Virginian Army would be equipped primarily with spears and phalanx swords and would be trainned in the up-most gurella warfare as in hunting deer.

The Virginian Navy was planned to become a 20-ship navy for now. Two Battleships which would be boats with stone pikes on the front for ramming and have bowmen on the deck firring onto other ships and coastal forces. About 10 of which would be landing ships, and 8 being small coastal assualt ships that are made for ramming and has an archer's mast like a crow's nest.

The Virginian Guard was also being made of elite swordsmen to protect Hampton, the capital community of Norfolk, from possable invasion and also protect Berd himself.

After the military was completed, a planned 400tO budget was planned for the border protection council to create small incampments for the army and create a navy base for the navy in Glaouster.

tO=Tobacco, which in present-day figures, 5tO=1USD as a close concept.

Community Listings:
Norfolk
Located on the southern tip of Chesepeake and is the capital of Norfolk. It is the smallest community, but holds many government officals. It has almost no farmming or any industry to support itself except for fishing.
Hampton
Located directly south, from the Chesepeake Straight, of Norfolk and is the largest of the communities. It is primarily a fishing and farmming community that also is the only fully-inclosed community, even with the beaches walled off. It is where most of the government action is, and so with the military and trade.
Glaouster
This is only a small plantation-community west of Hampton. It is mainly argecultural and produces almost no fish, but a lot of crops and live stock is made possable here. It is not over looked and open, since it is broken into four blocks which are walled in. Farms and herding plantations are outside these walls.
Hampton Roads
This is a small territory that technically Norfolk owns, but has not really settled. It is north of Norfolk and goes all the way up to present-day Maryland. It is the largest community, but its population is less than half of Glaouster's. It is not protected by the military but it does bring in some cash crops, mainly corn and weat.
