The Ankhmeti First Explorator Fleet headed towards Forkilania.The FEF consists of 120 ships, 20 of which are Imperator class gothic battleships which are a mainstay of the Ankhmeti Navy.

Immediately preparations were made to bombard the Forkilanians, and the shield emitters of all the ships were altered to project a single shield around the fleet.

The fleet began to fire at the surface, taking out missile installations, launching areas, naval docks and military bases. No civilian areas were deliberately targetted, but collateral damage was inevitable when dealing with planetary bombardment. Any fighters and other spacecraft, civilian or military, going near the fllet became immediate targets for Ankhmeti Starhawk Bombers.
