As many of you may or may not know. We have recently sold off the Old Excelsior Class Cruisers, and we feel the need for a replacement, something that fills the same roles, at the same price but is more capable in the Battlefield. It is also interesting to note that it will be using LinAC weapons, Purchased from a new ally. Though they have been refined, for more power, and efficacy.
Greenway Cruiser:
Build Number: NIX-3190
Mass: 2 Million Metric Tons, This is a pretty heavy ship.
Length: 350 Meters
Beam: 120 Meters
Height: 80 Meters
Decks: 15
Construction: Duranium/Tritanium Plating. High Power Flex Fielding. This allows the ship to Flex Slightly during Battle.
FLEXIHULL RATING: 5 Inches.
Crew: 300
Maximum Cap: Life Support Systems can sustain a Maximum of 2,500 Beings, if the need be.
Weapons:
8 Strip Array Mark II LinAC Emitters. Rated at 22 Gigatons (I use tons, because it's easier for me)
1 Light Quantum Cannon Rated at 5 Gigatons
For and Aft Torpedo Turrets- Firing Tri Cobalt Torpedoes
Defense:
Class II Shielding Grid. 6000 GRV Output
Dual AMD Systems. Can take out 30 Missiles in 20 Seconds.
Tractor Emitters:
1 aft, 1 Bow, 1 Port, 1 Starboard.
Power Generation:
Mark IV Matter-Antimatter Animation Plant.
Note: Due to the nature of these vessels, it was deemed that Quantum Converters would not need to be used.
Propulsion:
Sub Light: .50 C Maximum Speeds.
FTL: Fold Drive, Used only During Combat. Normal FTL Drive: Warp Drive, Top Speed Warp 9.98. (30 Hours) Normal Speed: Warp 9.5
it is Interesting to Note that in the Universe that the federation exists in, the ships are actually much faster. Due to the lack of Subspace Damage caused by Borg and Old UFP Drives. Though we do give the UFP Credit for Improving there propulsion systems, Causing less damage to subspace. We hope they keep improving.
Omni Vector al Thrusters. Coupled with Warp Engine Power, Allows for stunning maneuvers.
Projected Cost Per Ship: 900 Billion Dollars.
