For the first time since the government fragmented after Provost-General Thoma's death, government-sponsored authorities made an offensive move. In the New Rizon spaceport, protestors were rallying against the Militarist Government, provoking responses from all of the Militarist factions. However, instead of the piecemeal and disjointed response that the revolutionaries expected, the factions cooperated well. Systement heavy tanks from the Army faction fractured the fortified Rebel lines, while Manstein infantry carriers and Zukhov tanks exploited. Mechanist Bolo machines, firing over the Army faction's heads, destroyed strongpoints and rebel formations from long range. Naval ships already in the spaceport opened fire even before they lifted off the ground, and Tartars-class subsurface battleships surfaced in the harbor and opened fire with heavy missiles and direct-fire energy weaponry. The rebellion's second attempt was crushed.
This event has even more meaning than that. On the Capitol World, the leaders of each faction met and decided to found a new Militarist government, structured similarly to the last one, founded by General Thoma. However, the Mechanists have shared a secret with the world too.
They have completed the first Codename 'Luna' automated bastion/factories. Fear of the Artificial Sentience units taking control over the government has been expressed, although the latter is unlikely, it is possible.
The new Militarist government is also wishing to extend a proverbial Hand into the diplomatic world for the first time, and is offering conditional military alliances.
