IC: The Czar stands in his palace at kosnov, having just gotten back from the peace negotiations. His armies have moved into position. The tanks are ready, anti aircraft batteries are in position. Artillery ready to fire at a moments notice. Air force sqaudrons are actively patrolling the skies and the navy is in a defensive blockade around the island nation. The military stats of novaya russia are as follows. If there are doubts, then ask for links and links will be provided.

Army Strength: 2 million soldiers armed with land warrior combat suits and xm-8 rifles. 100,000 of them have our own custom made 4 times scopes.

EDIT: I found the thread, though a forum search. I am intereseted in helping Novaya-Russia fight off these invaders.

IC: The Council was seated in their chamber, arguing about their war with the Drum Gods empire, when a veiw of another nation came up on the giant screen in the front of the room. All the council members stopped and looked at it, wondering why the head of the council had shown them this. The hooded council leader spoke,

"This, my brothers, is the nation of Novaya-Russia. I know we are currently fighting another enemy, but this war too demands our attention. This nation is being invaded as we sit here and argue. This must be stopped."

Another councilman spoke,

"But how can we efficiantly defend both ourselves, and another nation even as we wage war on a third, and, as i have heard of late, a fourth?"

The other councilmen nodded in agreement with this statement. There was a general murmer about ignoring this second conflict, but then the leader spoke again,

"I know we are pressed to defend ourselves, and I am well aware of the threat that the Drum Gods pose to us right now, but we must stand and defend this nation. They are fighting to mantain a way of life they have chosen, much like us. These nations attacking must be stopped!"

The chamber started to agree slightly with what he was saying, but one councilman, Edgers, still had doubts,

"Who sir, would you way are attaking them, and how do we know we can even fight them alone! Forgetting the fact that half our military is floating around getting missiles shot at them right now!"

"Councilman! Sit down! I will not have you berate the actions of this council. The Nation of Fintlewoodle is as of now at war with the nations of the Roman Republic, and Fascist Italia."

The council argured further, but none of it mattered, they all knew the war was already agreed upon, and that their forces would be there within twenty-four hours.

OOC:

Hmmm that looks reasonable, if at the high end of your capabilities. One thing I would say though, would be to slightly tone down the number of cruisers and destroyers, they are a bit high even though you are an Island nation.

My Nation is small and newly founded but I would like to help in any way I can. If you can explain the role playing system to me i'd work my best to find a way to help though I doubt I would be of any use.

It is great to hear that there are countries out there willing to help. I purpose a meeting, at the grand palace, in the capital of Novaya Russia, Kosnov. There we can discuss what we can do to bring about a quick end to this conflict. to Dremana , roleplaying is basically like writing a story, except you take turns. i cant just take over for example, your country tho, I have to move my forces into position, then wait for what you will do, and so it goes, back and forth.

After Paradropping, Soldiers release the Parachutes.
"Lets go invisible.", commanded the Delta Sgt.

Men activate Camo systems, to blend in.
"Let move move..We need to capture the capital."

Army Snipers split from the other SOF to hunt "Snipe".
Sniper make their Ghille suits.

What I meant is how do you determine what's an appropriate amount of units, what kind of weaponry and equipment they should be equipped with, etc. etc. etc.

basically I got the whole writing a story part but the rules man the rules!

God modding wont be tolerated yet some how you can afford all of this?

occ: Even though I haven't posted much I'd have to agree. At least with your navy, it is way too big. My nation is twice as large as yours but can only afford 10% of your navy. You may want to relook at that. Also, with this under view I'll edit my original post of navel help.

OoC: I'd suggest you cut down that fleet to a tenfold. You operating more types of one ship then I am and your also operating over 75 carriers.(which is bull, I only operate around 55 at total)

Within hours of the discovery the violent acts of The Roman Republic and Fascist Italia against Novaya-Russia forceful and fierce arguments spanned across both the military council and the senate as they tried to determine what to do after this sudden troubling turn of events.

“This is the perfect opportunity to test our rebuilt military and its doctrine, we can’t allow this to go unused!” Screamed Tritakar Ayamel as Gramiel Durthing rose in anger. “must I restate the possible consequences if we lose this!” Replied Gramiel Durthing in a barley controlled rage. ”I believe that the time for discussion is over unless I am mistaken.” Calmly interrupts Harrace Jayland head of the military council, “I believe that its time to decide our fate.”

Meanwhile in The People’s Senate things were far less organized as chaos reigned. “we can not stand by while counties rip away the ways of life from each other!If this is what they decided then it should be Is not that one of the main components of democracy? The right to live however you wish?” Head of the UDA political party John Walmsley screamed at the top of his lungs at Takonu Crayson next to him. “But where does trying to protect democracy end and imperialism start !?!” Yelled back conservative senator Takonu with just as much malice, both oblivious to the similar yelling on the tiers below. For length this chaos continued and as it finally settled down after its furious climax, through out the chamber echoed Wallace, the representative from the naboring country of Entri warning “our position has already been decided and I caution that this could very well effect our relations in a fearful way.”

The next day as heads of the military council and the People’s senate followed by the president of the senate climbed the white stone steps of the triconlth building, the ancient stone tribute to democracy where the decisions of the three branches would be revealed and the path of the nation discovered. As each entered the massive oak doors as a groan and crack reached their ears they all already knew what was to come.

And so it was decided that Dremana, careless of what its allies may or may not advise the council, senate and president decided to lend what little of a helping hand they could to Novaya-Russia, but all for their own reasons.

As the planes of the Dremana Royal air force landed upon Novaya-Russia’s airfield President of Dremana Jack Biland stepped into the glaring sun and reached his hand out to the representatives from Novaya-Russia and in a calm, cooled and practiced voice said “On behalf of Dremana I offer whatever assistance we may provide”

OOC: By the way in order for war to be approved by the senate and the president it was decided that we would accept refugees if this would bring it to a fast and peaceful end, no matter the numbers we would accept them. I just had already written it and didn't want to edit that in.
