Creative Challenge 2017. (All are welcome!)

Here's a challenge for anyone interested.

The Nation of Tessen would like to inquire as to some realistic technology that may or may not exist in year 2017. We're looking to add some creative flavor to our own technological and cultural database, that may come into play through our roleplaying ventures.

Here's the heart of the challenge though.... This technology has to be a progression of the technology our real-life world of today is familar with. It must be descended from the same technology tree in existance now in 2005.

You up for the challenge? Wanna get a little creative?

In-character roleplay of suggestions are as welcome as OOC suggestions. Have at it. I'll offer some of my own suggestions after others have done the same.

so just an improvment on any present technology?

Yes, an improvement upon existing technology, ...but also inventions of new technologies that are bourne out of the old.

EXAMPLE:
Such as we've seen with the invention of computers as they existed in the 1950's (aka, large room-sized boxy monolithic computational devices). They have been improved to today's technology of PDA's (small personal hand-held computers you can carry in your pocket). .... However, a new technology bourne out of the invention of computers has been the internet, which has clearly earned it's place as an invention all its own.

ah I'll participate
how much detail do you want
when is the cutoff date of the challange

can it inculde bio/chemical advances

You are welcome to be as detailed as you wish. Creativity knows no bounds! :P

As to a cut-off date, I hadn't really thought about that, but, for the time being, let's assume a week. If there are still numerous people coming up with ideas after that point, then we'll keep it going a bit longer.

And, yes, it could include bio/chemical advances, however, Tessen is not a military state. And, although they do possess the necessary technology and knowledge to produce such weapons, they have chosen not to do so. It might be recommended that technological advancements have a less militaristic perspective (but that isn't to squash the creativity of someone who desires to assume advances are made in military applications).

Im using powered armour that picks up on the movements of the wearer and moves like that, as well as proper battlesuits that do that. The armour stops most bullets unless they hit the visor or joints, and lessens damage even then. The battlesuits may need heavier firepower.

My tech could exist now or it could if the government had started on it a few years ago and assinged some budget. Look at my sig, a guy is making a very large (about twice the size of my most excessive battlesuit) and crude version of these. And he's doing it for fun.

It's not indestructible, but it gives a great advantage in combat situations with minimal mobility loss.

Then there are laser missle deflection, I did my homework and googled it. I can't remember the details but lasers can now actively disrupt all sorts of missiles by overwhelming the guidance and jamming it and so when used with chaff for emergancies (and maybe flares) and a variety of frequencies, it is very effective.

Euroslavia developed and sold me the technology to defeat this with some effectiveness however.... Im not divulging it, however if you have seen the Witgall invasion you may understand.

1. First entry is cloned organ transplants.
This is where an failing organ is clone from the person in which it will provide a zero chance of rejection to the recipiant.
2. Second entry is genetic enginnering to cure genetic defects.
This is where prenatel infants with defects are submitted to DNA splicing to remove defects and insert healthy codes.
3. Third entry is full sensation virtual reality.
This is where by providing stimmulation directly to the nerves in the eyes, ears, nose, tounge and upper spine to create full body sensation.
4. Fourth entry is hydrogen fuel cell.
This is where by ionizing water molocules to get hydrogen and oxygen which is then burned to provide fuel, which is then recombined to generate water.
5. Fifth entry is biomedical implants.
This is very a electronic chip is inserted into the shoulder which moniters all vital signs like, heart rate, breath rate blood pressure ect..

These are my entries in your competion.

Excellent entries Theao. Most impressive! :)

Anyone else interested in join in this creative challenge as well. We've got some wonderful entries already. Care to add any more?
