Confederate News Network Special Report:

At around five AM this morning, the Archbishops and Patriarch of the Holy Fascian Orthodox Church were arrested for syphoning funds from the administrative budget. The Czar has also officially condemned the orthodox teachings as heresy. He has officially named the national church: The Church of Christ. The Church of Christ will have no tyrannical ruler like the papists do. They will merely have the Czar--Prophet of Our Lord God--and the Lord Himself. The Holy Weiss Kruez Cathedral will be named The Father's Cathedral. Among other reformations, the Adamic Truth will also be openly taught in The Church of Christ. After The Patriarch was arrested for treason, syphoning funds, and heresy, he commented by saying,"I help start this nation, and this is what I get!" Among other choice words.

The following is a released document describing The Church of Christ (Not to be confused with The Church of Christ of Later Day Saints):
The three main 'leaders' of The Church of Christ are: The Elders, The Deacons, and The Preachers.

Elders are spiritually mature Christian men who work in some specialized capacity of a spiritual nature. They provide moral guidance, and they or their designees approve and establish Bible study curriculum, select Sunday school teachers (All men), and select the Preacher when the position becomes vacant. In some congregations, elders also select the deacons. Elders are also called pastors, shepherds, and bishops (all Biblical terms referring to the same office), but the use of "elder" is the most common by far. Elders are selected by the members of a congregation; the method of doing this varies slightly between congregations, but involves confirming that a potential elder does indeed embody all of the characteristics of elders which are listed in the Bible.

Deacons are recognized special servants of the church and most often take care of specialized needs of the congregation. Typically, the physical building in which services are held is overseen by a Deacon. Like Elders, Deacons are generally selected by the congregations in a manner very similar to that of elders.

The Preachers prepares and delivers sermons, teaches Bible classes, performs weddings, preaches or evangelizes the gospel, and performs baptisms. This position is typically paid. (People associated with the Churches of Christ do not use the title "pastor" to refer to their pulpit minister, as this term is held to refer to the same position as "elder" in the Bible, which requires a certain set of qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy and Titus.)

Beliefs Of The Church Of Christ:
1) The Bible was written by men who were inspired and guided by God the Father through the Holy Spirit. They believe in "plenary" inspiration, whereby the inspired author is able to use his language to express divine truth, but the ultimate truthfulness is from God.
2) No religious icons.
3) No instrumental music in services (a cappella).
4) Children upon birth are damned, but are if Elected--chosen by God--then they will live in Heaven.
5) No intermediate locales in the afterlife between heaven and hell; Purgatory and limbo are seen as human creations, mentioned nowhere in scripture and unheard of for centuries after the completion of the New Testament.
6) The requirements for salvation are presented in Romans 3:27-28
7) The Preservation of Saints
8) We point out that the Bible does command believers to be baptized.
9) Celebration of religious holidays, such as Christmas and Easter, are to be celebrated for the sole devotion to God. Mild gifts can be presented.
10) Women are not allowed to hold positions of spiritual authority over grown men.
11) The lost will be condemned to an eternity without God. They believe in a literal hell.
12) The Church forbids women from leading public worship or serving as elders, deacons and preachers.
14) Worship can take place at any gathering of church members. Baptism can take place in any suitable body of water allowing total immersion, and may be administered by any person.
15) There is no distinction between clergy and laity; all members are considered to be priests. Certain male members specialize in the field of teaching. These men are often called "Preachers".
16) The Lord's Supper can be served anywhere members are gathered on Sunday; no particularly "sanctified" location nor specifically "authorized" individual is needed to administer communion (except that those administering communion are almost invariably male as a matter of doctrine in most congregations).
17) Divorce is an utter sin.
18) Abortion is considered to be a sin.
19) Homosexuality is seen as a sin.
20) Satan is considered to be a literal being, not just a symbolic or allegorical representation of evil. He is seen as literally tempting Christ's followers away from their chosen path, usually by the use of human agents. His power is considerable, although vastly inferior to that of God, who allows Satan to exist so that God's followers worship and follow Him by His choice. The Lord selects individuals by His Grace to join The Elect. In essence: predestination.
21) The Reformed Church is the only true church.
22) Preaching of The Reformed Ways/Calvinism.
23) Women are not permitted to speak in The House of The Lord.
24) Interracial marriages are a sin aswell as any interrracial activity.
25) Anti-Semetic
26) Adamic Truth. The belief that the White race is the original Lost Tribes of Israel and that they came from the pure birth of Adam and his wife. It also defines the origin of other races.

I like your church, overall it seems like a nice thing. But I must ask, what mention do you make of the irresistible call to God's grace which all the elect will experience at one time or another in their life.

Also, what mention do you make of the non-elect being blinded, to the truth, by God (Romans 11:7).

One final matter, I suggest you read Malachi 1:2-3 to get an idea that God does indeed hate some people, even before they are born.

Sincerely,

Dear Roger,
The Church of Christ speaks of Romans 11 frequently in our teachings. We show the people the truth that God is calling them with an undying Grace. We teach the ignorants that not all of you will wake up and be chosen to Providence. You have to show you are worthy and repent your sinful ways. The children must be brought up knowing these facts, otherwise they are doomed to the Lake of Fire, if not already eternally condemned by God The Father.

Your Friend,
Charles

It is the opinion of the Republic that church and state should remain separate at all times.

Really now? Not surprising coming from a liberal pig such as yourself. You and your atheist ways. And you're so much of a liberal, you're too damn scared to inforce your own atheist views. You allow papists to run around your nation commiting crimes and killing people. You're a disjusting excuse for a human. -- Deacon Mark McInis

We do not allow anybody, Catholic or otherwise, to run around killing people. And we do find such a statement a bit rich coming from a country which has attempted to fund terrorism in an allied nation.

I find this a bit shocking. You are accusing a Reformed nation of funding terrorism in an allied nation? If you are refering to the NF Incident, you already know Harold von Buro was responsible for that. We also would like you to know that we have never funded terrorism and have never had a terrorist cell in this wonderful Commonwealth.

Sincerely,
Czar Charles Hayden

If this is true, then you should have no problem handing Mr. von Buro over to JRV in order to face terrorism charges under federal law.

We will hand Mr. von Buro over to you. Well, let me correct that statement: We will hand Mr. von Buro's corpse over. He was executed via firing squad at a Confederate Incarceration Facility. The corpse will arrive within the next twenty-four hours (OOC: NS Time).

Sincerely,
Czar Charles Hayden

Kahta maintains a freedom of relgion, but is strictly white only. We got rid of the inferiors a long time ago.

Freedom of religion? Reformed Protestantism--what Mississippi calls Calvinism, which is the same--is the only true religion. How can you say that people who believe you can be the worst man in the world during the week, and go to church on Sunday and ask for forgiveness and be forgiven is a true religion? Can't you see the hypocracy in that? I encourage you to embrace this, Sam.

Sincerely,
Czar Charles Hayden
