The Empire has finally revealed the new rifles that they have been using for the past month. It is called the 9 series. The RAR-9A, the RAR-9C, the RAR-9K, and the RAR-9G are part of the series. The Empire has also revealed the marksman weapon they designed, called the RMW-1A. Also, the Empire has revealed a freshly designed rifle called the ROICW-1A. Which is basically a spin off from the American designed rifle. The specifications of the weapons will now be shown.

The Angelican Army officer assigned to the new embassy in the Rosian capitol was enjoying his little trip to the proving ground. Lt. Col Antonio Mendez had been invited to a test of the the RMW-1A and the ROICW-1A rifles, and was looking forward to the range time. As a former infantry officer fresh from a rotation in the Al-Sabiri combat zone, Mendez had been suffering from what he refered to as cordite withdrawls.

The RMW-1A was an accurized assault rifle, and bore many of the characteristics of weapons of its class. Mendez appreciated the bullpup design of the weapon, which allowed for significant barrel length with an overall compact design. Though the five-power scope would be effective in urban and dense terrains, Mendez could sense that such a weapon would be limited in long-range encounters. The 9mm round likewise was a limiting factor in the long-range ballistics of the weapon. However, after engaging torso-sized targets out to 250m with ease, Mendez noted privately that the weapon would be ideal for issue to rural police units and the border patrol. In such units, the weapon would provide less-trained personnel with a significant capability for precision fire.

The ROICW-1A, on the other hand, thoroughly impressed the Lieutenant Colonel. At 3.5 kilos, the ROICW-1A weighed as much as the standard G-36 assault rifle. However, this weapon's capabilities were enhanced with the integral 6-shot airbursting 20mm grenade launcher. Such a weapon had been tested independently in Al-Sabir, and had been quite successful at eliminating concealed targets. Such a lightweight weapon defeated the major complaint of other OICW designs. Though the major was still troubled by the 9mm concept, he was convinced enough to begin a serious dialogue with the Rosian representatives.

"So, just a rhetorical question at the moment. Think you could chamber these for 5.56? That would, theoretically, be of interest to the Angelican military."

Official Statement from The Grand Imperial Empire of The Island of Rose:

The ROICW-1A can be rechambered to 5.56. If you wish, we can send you one gun and the blueprints. From there you may be able to work from there. Of course this would require extensive negotiations, for we may not even sell production rights of the OICW to our closest allies. As you can see, it is a very secret rifle. But to answer your original question, yes the Angelicans themselves can rechamber the weapon, if we permit. The Rosian Army used to use 5.56 but found it weak. And 7.62mm was still too weak for our purposes. Thus the 9mm conversion. But enough of me. Are there any other questions?

Actually it looks like he has merged the Spas with the new Tokyo Marui FN P90TR.

All by myself. I'm quite proud. The OICW was simple, all I did was put the essential parts, then I covered it with the paint scheme. For the rifles, I used an M-17 and Steyr AUG trigger and the T-95 magazine. I like to customize my weapons. :)

We are most apologetic we cannot use your weapons in general purpose activities, but Vastiva still uses the 5.3mm shell in most of our weaponry. We would compromise on the armament of our security personell in the Vastivan Embassy in The Island of Rose, and allow them to be primarilly armed with the ROICW-1A weapon.
