The queen walks up to the platform. She does not appear to be scared of her death, but so many thousands of people watching, she can't allow herself to let any emotion slip. She looks on, through the crowd. No one knows what she was looking for, but she was unsatified. She raises her head high and declares,
"Allow my death, to clean the blood from your hands. For I have failed my country, my only world."

She kneels and bows her head, the axe is raised...

Yukino, her daughter, stands and cries,
"Now is the time to be a hero!"

A hush falls...

His Majesty, Emperor K. Bartholemew, would like to know the offense this woman has done!

The crowd cries,

"She has murdered the former queen!"

Yukino says she has not, but unless Gewd appears...

ooc: do you mind if i have a commando raid to save the queen

Do not harm the innocent!

ooc: is that a yes if no civilans are harmed?

The crowd spilts to let someone through...Who is that? Yes, you may rescue her as long as no one is harmed.

Yukino faints. You must debate among yourself until she wakes up!

ic:As the axe was about to fall a single shot rang out. This round shattered the axe. The guards were felled one after another by darts loaded with a knockout drug. Two civilians lept the barrier and raced up the platform as a helicopter flew by. "Come your Magesty we need to get you out of here." said on of the men as the other drew a short barrelled automatic weapon and fired into the air above the crowd. They then grabbed the queen pulled her into the chopper. They then flew off as the crowd commenced to panic.

Everything comes to a hault. The crowd splits and all bow as the former queen Gewd walks straight to the execution spot.

"Koete, my loyal friend, please come to meet me." she says slowly and out streches her hand. "allow me to express my gratitude, you did not tell anyone."

Koete steps away from her saviors and slowly bows to Queen Gewd. She then removes the crown and places it on Gewd's head.

"All rejoice for our good queen is back. Thank the sacred spirit of the Silence Glaive." Koete whispers.

But someone in the crowd stands and begins to shout...

Several people in non-descript clothing are stationed at various places in the crowd. Although their demeanors are carefully neutral they watch carefully as events unfold. "Mayhap there will be no action, after all, eh?" a burly man says in an almost inaudible undertone to someone who appears to be a slender youth. The person raises an eyebrow but otherwise makes no audible response. When the shouting begins, the youth makes an almost imperceptable hand signal and two people begin to close in on the person now spewing invective while the rest drift slowly toward the platform.

A tall man dressed in a monks robe watches from the crowd taking in the chaos that has just unfolded. He shifts nervously unsure of how to react.
His companion asures him to stay calm and not to attract attention.

The two special forces agents from the ground as well as the reponse team from the helicopter approched the queen. "We appologise for our actions. The reason we acted was that we knew that Koete had not been caused you, Queen Gewd, to be slain. We were force to take action because we did not know you intended to return. We wish to offer our servicies as temporary gaurdians until this is settled." As the leader said this he and the rest of the force knelt before the queen.

Queen Gewd slowly walks to the bowing men,
"Rise..."
A knife is thrown from the audience, from the yelling man, he is attacked, but too late to stop the knife. The knife digs deep into Koete's neck, she jumped in the way to save Gewd.

"I...am so...sorry..." She dies...Four women emerge from the audience...

While two of the men go down and grab the attacker the rest of the soldiers form a protective sphere around the queen and Koete as they each draws one of a varity of firearms. The two men then drag Koete's killer one his knees to face the queen. One frogmarching him, the other with a pistol to the man's head. "What would you have us do with this scum you Majesty?"

Saddened, Gewd looks to the short haired woman who emerged from the audience.
"I..." she looks at her for help

"Do not put her in the position to stain her hands with the blood of her father." She replies. "You see, there has been much fighting between them, for years..." The girl smiles and Gewd introduces her as the mercenary, Tenchi, a girl looking to be no older than 15...What could Gewd have to do with an assassin?

"This..man is the father of the queen?" The leader of the guard asked with a look of absolute revulsion at the man "What would you have me do with him then?"

ooc: the guard is made of 10 men

Following Tenchi the monk makes his slow careful movement towards the epicenter of the conflict. He prostrates himself at the edge of the guards surrounding the queen. He stands and stares deep into the mind of the guard standing directly in front of him. The guard hesitates then starts to allow him to pass. Shouting from his commander breaks the trance and his gun is put to the head of the monk. The monk responds, I only wish to give last rites to this poor victim of violence. He steps backward a few paces and slowly he removes his cloak. Please search me all you will find is my documentation and a transponder. I have no weapons, I only came to give sanctuary to this poor creature to stop this horrible event from happening. It was my destiny.
It was foretold a Queen shall arise as if from ether, silence be her creed and those who know this shall avail. To know the law the law must be spoken to speak the law the law must be broken. Silence must not be silenced. I feel we have failed.

"Your Majesty what would you have us do?" The leader asked

I beg of you, please let me perform the last rites for the good of this kindly womans soul! Directing his comments to the leader of the guards.
I mearly an emissary of the enlightened one come to spead peace were we can. You may call me Yulangul

A second woman walks forth

"I am Gedda, sister of Gewd. I am Death, let me perform the rights, I already have her soul." Gedda holds up her hand in a beckoning way and the body shifts. "With the mark of death upon you, death shall occur in order for the nessicary rebirth. Arise." She says in a commanding tone. The body of Koete moves and the soul emerges, the last good bye is said as Koete departs for the gates of the dead.

Tenchi seems unmoved, "Nefer? would you like to tell us anything she couldn't tell us before her death?" A figure in a white hood emerges.

"Ah, yes, some of you do not know what silence and nothing truly is, do you?" Tenchi smiles as she says this. "Silence is when the world has ended and nothing is left. Nothing is...well, nothing. Everything is gone, it brings the nessicary death needed for rebirth, as Gedda stated. There is nothing evil in it, but it is very commonly missunderstood." She turns her back, reveiling a tattoo on her arm. The tattoo is a symbol, it means, Death Bringer. She's too calm to be trusted here, right?

Moving swiftly the monk drops down on his knees and bends over the place the fallen Koete had been slain. He crys out we are so sorry we interfered
and with an undetectible motion he pulls a syringe from his sleeve and fills it with the blood of the slain queen. The confusing events allowed him enough time to enable this act. A guard grabs him and throws him down from the platform BEAT IT your not welcome here. Who is this idiot shouts the commander. The monk shuffles through the crowd and disapears.
A smile crosses his face. Fools the final key is in my hands. He slips out across the border to an awaiting helicopter bearing the symbol of a black flag with red double cross that streaks off into the night sky.
