OOC: I'm not sure who has claimed Antartica...whoever has, it's your choice whether to approve/disapprove this. I've got a few really neat RP ideas thought up if it happens.

Today, Lady Larrissa Do'Le'Croxxe announced that Ybronneb wishes to enhance it's scientific knowledge. One way she plans to accomplish this is via constructing an ice research station in Antartica. She has requested permission to construct such a station, and awaits a response. The station will be used mainly for ice core drilling, in which cylinders of ice, or "cores" are brought out of the ground and examined for prehistoric air pockets. 20 scientests would live at the research station.
OOC: Sorry I don't have time to RP this better...I got most of the ideas for RP from Matthew Reilly's novel Ice Station.
