OOC: This thread deals with the aftermath of the signing of the Santiago Treaty between the nation of Neuvo Rica and it's liberators, Intelligent Neighbors and Psychopathic Warmonger.


Here is a summary:

-750,000 men, 1,000 tanks, 200 Aircraft for 20 years.
-The cities of Veracruz and Drakkensburg will become property of Intelligent Neighbors and Psychopathic Warmonger permanently.
-Our troops will be allowed to move through the entire nation freely for 20 years.
-Our troops will be allowed access to anywhere in NR, and can arrest and detain anyone indefinately if they pose a threat to us or free elections.
-The three parties running for election are: Democrat, Republican and Labour. No extreme governments will be allowed to run.
-War Crime Trials will be held immediately, the people involved are:
Military Leaders
The brother of the ex leader (who executed rebels)
Matyas Kadar (killed rebels)
Neuvo Rican Northern Army command officer (ordered execution of civilians)
All Jagerkommando men involved in the execution of captured men.
Jager Leaders
Jager Officers
Government Members involved in executions/sending people to other nations against their will.
-Punishments include detention, execution and fines. The judges will be three people, one from Intelligent Neighbors, one from Pschopathic Warmonger and General Q' atana from Neuvo Rica.



The Disarmamant will be completed in about three days time, all aircraft apart from the 200 are either being destroyed or converted for civil use.

From this, the start of the election campaign can begin today, and the voting will be on the 4th Feb. Only central parties are running, and 'Coallition' troops will oversee the process.

The New Republic of neuvo rica agrees to these rules. Today Inheim Razenburg, the temporary president announced the formation of the new Neuvo Rica.

The new leader Rasenburg has requested that all three leaders meet in Santiago, to sign the treaty proclaiming peace between the three nations.

Disarmament was completed on the 1st February (To Make it easier to know when it ends), and for 20 years there shall remain forces in Neuvo Rica.

The Facts were today released on the parties running.

Labour
Inheim Rasenburg
- Popular in the North and in the German speaking regions of the east.

Democrat
Janas Rakosi
- Popular in the large cities of central neuvo rica and in the country.

Republican
Maria d' estanzo
- Popular in all the large commercial ports in the south of the country.

Today 20000 of the soldiers in the new army were set out on the long journey north, to counter the actions of communist terror groups near concepcion.

That makes no sense.

So the treaty was drawn up and its actions were undertaken. For 3 weeks now the opposing armies had remained in place but with the signing of the document most of them were free to go.

The first PW troop transports were underway as pens were being put to paper and, carefully picking their way through the immense minefields laid by Neuvo Rica, worked tirelessly to send the brave soldiers home. At the peak of the war 510,000 PW troops occupyed Neuvo Rica but in a monumental effort this was reduced to just 200,000 men and vehicles.

The provinces and cities of Drakkensburg and Veracruz were annexed by PW and IN, and this is were the HQ's were set up. For the first days after the treaty the troops familiarised themselves with their new homes and concentrated on peace-keeping duties whilst the locals adjusted to their new guests.

Soon the elections would begin and there wasn't one man in the whole of Neuvo Rica that didn't doubt that it would be the greatest test of their resources yet. . .

It does, we are preventing radical governments (like the communist one we toppled) from regaining power. We have those powers so we can stop anyone from interfering in the elections. It is very similar to the measures taken in the recent Iraqi elections, coalition troops did not allow 'infidels' and radical people to disrupt democracy did they?

IC:

In line with the measures taken by PW, Imperial troops began to go home. Over 550,000 men and women would be free to see their families again, but 200,000 remained, keeping the nation of Neuvo Rica secure.

40,000 men journeyed north alongside NR troops, marching onward to hem the rebels in, then crush them. The other troops spread out across the country, keeping a strong hold on Drakensburg especially. Soildiers now guarded the polling stations, in preparation for tomorrow's elections.

Dark shapes flew over the coast, and landed on an airfield. Men stepped out from the Marsupial helicopters and readied for inspection. They were the INKommando's, and they would head the anti-insurgency teams.

IC: Where terror and fear once reigned, elections for a new government now took place and the coalition forces were ready for them. The IN and PW presence in Neuvo Rica, now reduced from the wartime strength but still numbering 400,000 men and vehicles patrolled the streets steadily on the lookout for trouble.

Tomorrow would be a long day for everyone not least for the forces protecting them. In anticipation for terrorist action the PW commander in command of the occupying forces sent 10,000 PW troops to each of the 14 major cities of Neuvo Rica leaving 60,000 to remain as a rapid deployment force in the event of major strikes against the polling stations or worse.

The first nights of the occupation were hazardous so, following the IN example, the Fuhrer advised Veracruz HQ to fly in Intelligence and Counter-Terrorist agents to advise and aid the forces whose job it was to keep the nation stable.

Look, I don't know who you are but I truthfully respect your views (hell, everyone has a right to have a say :) ) as a fellow RPG'er. BUT frankly we don't care. We aren't running this RP for your benefit we are running it because we enjoy it.

The election day dawned, and Imperial troops began to watch the area, hoping all would be quiet. (OOC: NR, I assume you are RPing any attacks?)

Back at the Drakensburg base, the Kommando's suited up, and hopped into their humvees. Roaring away, they quickly sped to destination no. 1, a hotel in Sierra Argento.

They arrived before dawn, and rapidly surrounded the area, each pair of men working together to secure the perimeter. At the signal, six men climbed silently up the darkened staircase, flashlights and S-36 'Hail' submachine guns at the ready.

They sneak up to the right door, one raises a shotgun. BANG. BANG. The doors hinges are blown off and the men charge in, following their strategy plan precisely. Two men kick open a door to a bedroom, a man is there, scrabbling under the bed.

"Freeze!"

The man looks up for an instant, and begins to pull up his 'Kov' rifle. A round of fire hits him in the shoulder, and he falls back, dropping the gun. The kommando takes aim again, and releases another round into the terrorists head, killing him instantly.

Elsewhere in the flat, shots rung out, as threats were silenced viciously. After a minute of shooting, a man was led out by two kommando's, unharmed. The other kommando's followed, leaving three dead bodies behind.

When they had hauled the man into a humvee, the kommando's roared away. As they did, one radioed to HQ:

"We have detained one Jager soldier, the others have been eliminated."

"Excellent, good work."

Across Neuvo Rica, as dawn broke, hundreds of raids where taking place, shattering the newly found peace.

"The Democratic Imperium of Praetonia is thoroughly disgusted by the breaking up of Neuvo Rica with relation to the "liberators" taking two cities in the middle of said nation. Ic: Rakosi, the democratic candidate's car drove towards the Marque d' liberacion in Sierra Argento, the car drives down a narrow road with tall, elegant Sierra Argento townhouses either side.

In the Top floor of one of the houses there is a man dressed in civilian clothing. He lights a ciggarette and walks to the window of the house. beneath him rumbles the convoy carrying one of the men who may change the shape of a future neuvo rica.

The Man runs to the far side of the room. He picks up the receiver on a telephone and hastily dials a number. On the far end a relaxed voice replies.
The Man explains that the Rakosi motorcade is passing beneath.

The Motorcade continues down the narrow road for another 2 blocks, up ahead there is a sight that disgusts everyone in the convoy. A burning police car lays across the road. Outside the car are the bodies of the three policeman. Each one had been shot through the head. There was blood all over the street. On one wall beside the wreckage "See what liberation has done traitors If your elections are free then why arent the communists being allowed to run" was written in blood.

A soldier from rakosi's 30 strong military escort knelt beside a body, it was still warm, this had happened only minutes previously. They were getting nervous the tall houses were perfect for an ambush.

Then he noticed something move behind a curtain. He had heard of what communist terror brigades had done in the north, executing entrie villages and commiting terrible atrocities. Then all hell broke loose sniper fire began to come from either side as communist terrorists in each building began to fire at the soldiers.

Behind them, a group of men assembled a KPV heavy machinegun, it began to blast away at the survivors mowing down the soldiers. 15 men run onto the street with dran swords and surround the survivors. All are beheaded, apart from rakosi himself who is hung and hacked to death whilst hanging. The execution squad finds one survivor hiding in the cellar of one of the houses. The ringleader lowers a pistol to the mans forehead.

An assistant pushes the gun away, they let the man live, so that he can tell others that the elections would not be so straightforward.

"Whilst the nation of Jacksonesia condemns the loss of life caused by Communist activists, our government questions whether these groups would cease their bloodshed if they were able to carry out what our nation assumes is their democratic right as Neuvo Ricans to express their own political beliefs in the realm of national politics."

IC: The 10,000 troops in each city were now garrisoned(sp?) as safely as possible while maintaining a strong presence in the city whilst the remaining 60,000 RDF troops moved from region to battle-scarred region to enforce the laws of justice. With the days appearing to roll by quicker now, tensions were set to relax in the PW camp.

That was until the following day when the first reports of looting and break-ins and street fighting were intercepted by liasons working with IN forces. It appeared that the capital, Sierra Argento, was being embroiled in a bloody guerilla war that threatened to rock the boat.

The commander of the PW occupation forces gave, that day, an order to release 10,000 RDF troops to help in the restoration of peace in Sierra Argento whilst giving instructions to the recently arrived garrison to stay put and try to avoid unneccessary bloodshed whilst resolving the issues.

In support of Psychopathic Warmonger troops, 20,000 soldiers are being sent to Sierra Argento to help quell the violence. They will concentrate on protecting the innocents that are beign caught up in the fighting.

IC: *Sierra Argento*

The morning shift was an easy one as far as Major Will Barnes was concerned. Having come from one of the first battalions to step ashore on the first week of hostilities he was glad of the easy posting. Leading his group of 80 armed men down one of the sweeping boulevards of Neuvo Ricas capital he relaxed and began to think of the letter he ought to compose to his longing family back home.

Having crossed streets Barnes was jolted into touch by the sound of gunfire and chaos up ahead. He urged his squad to stick to the sides and did the same as he adjusted his thoughts accordingly. Leading one of only 10 such PW squads out today he was sure he could feel calm in the air. He was aided by Sgt Davidson who now came alongside Barnes.

"Sir, HQ radioed saying there are signs of fighting coming from the Marque d' liberacion. Maybe we should check it out?"

Barnes answered slowly but surely. . .

"I think you're right. Call HQ and organise back-up from the RDF forces, we don't want anything big developing here. Meanwhile we can cut across to the area through here. ALRIGHT SQUAD, MOVE OUT"

The troops advanced with their weapons drawn and senses alerted. The back-up was organised and the men drew closer to the Marque d' liberacion expecting trouble.

*PW HQ, Veracruz*

Meanwhile 10,000 troops (OOC: Yes, those 10,000 men. *Begins humming 'The Grand Old Duke of York*) were dispatched to the vicinity of the capital in preparation of throwing an iron ring around the city. The 10,000 troops inside were instructed to make ready there vehicles and to enforce the law more physically.

In Sierra Argento...

One man lies injured on the street corner as the PW patrol arrives on the scene, he is the sole survivor of the communist ambush on the convoy carrying rakosi.

All across the city RPG attacks are launched against NR, PW and IN patrols, although effective, the raids that are being carried out seem only to stir up further resentment towards the armed forces. Further terrible news reaches the military HQ at noon...

Commander:"Sir, 394 are dead, terrorists have stormed a school in the outskirts of Kicevo, We are not sure who has done it, the Neuvo Rican Self defence front has claimed responsobility for this atrocity".

General: "This is bad, I didnt expect it to grow to this scale, what else, you said that there was a second incident?"

Commander: "Yessir much worse"

General:!?

Commander: "Mephiston has now proved that he has not been silenced, a communist terror brigade has all but wiped out the small town of Crucero west of Encarnacion, over 3000 are dead, we retook the city but not after the communists executed most of the people there".

General: "How well are they equipped?"

Commander: "They have supplies of modern weaponry, some very good pieces were found on the scene, P - 90s, Parker Hale PDWs and more frighteningly about six Accuracy international L96A1 sniper rifles".

General: "We are practically in a state of civil war then?"

Commander: " Effectively"

In Talavera an outskirt of sierra argento...

After making a speech the candidate maria d' estanzo steps of the platform and down towards her motorcade. She is taken along the long route back to her hotel, all the way the convoy has been watched from a distance.

After the death of rakosi, the patrol is better equipped to handle an ambush, the vehicles are all armoured and hum vees with rocket launchers accompany the convoy.

Upon reaching the Oceanic hotel, In suburban sierra Argento the candidate leaves her car and enters the hotel, security forces numbering over 150 defend the building. There is however a problem 5 of the marksmen defending the roof are terrorists who have infiltrated the security force.

Using silenced pistols and knives the five men clear the roof. They throw ropes over to a neighbouring building and 20 more men run across. They run through the door on the roof and open fire. They are nowhere near strong enough to overpower the security, they are strong enough to divert attention. Out of the darkness of the park opposite the hotel drives a lorry, a suicide attack, it is packed with explosive...

The lorry hits the hotel, for a moment everything is still, and then everything turns to fire. A huge explosion engulf the hotel and the buildings either side, the building collapses almost instantly killing everyone on the lower floors and many from the top floors.

Maria d estanzo is lucky she is not killed, on one of the upper floors she survives. In the chaos, rooftop snipers armed with barrett sniper rifles open fire on the survivors and bystanders. The candidate emerges from the rubble coughing, a soldier runs to help her but is whipped backwards in a spray of blood.

More armed strangers run from the shadows with guns, killing all survivors bar the candidate, who they grab and drive off.

ooc: Sorry bout that, it was a long one

"Track that damn vehicle!" Shouted Knorr, first soldier at the scene of the abduction. "Get some aerial support here, now!".

The radio man followed his order while soldiers around him began to search the area, securing it as they went. Minutes past, all was quiet, then gunfire began to ring out amongst the rubble. Static crackled over the radio, then a voice...

"Lots... ... rebels... ... r..est ai..rike on ... pos...on. Unable to hold... too ... ... help."

Knorr swore, then turned to his radio operator. "How long?"

"About now sir."

A humming sound was now audible, getting louder fast. Within moments two IPAT Zephyr helicopters tore down the street. One hesitated, then began to blast the building with the pinned down soldiers in with masses of rocket fire. Smashing the walls open, obliterating the roof. The 'copter turned, it's work done, and headed off down the street, following the van.

Knorr looked on admiringly, then ordered his men into the ruins. Nothing remained alive.

OOC: Sorry, bad post, no time...

Major Barnes appeared on the main street with his assault rifle at his hip and his finger on the trigger. Motioning to his squad they moved up until they reached a retched scene of cadavers and craters. Sgt Davidson called out from the carnage.

"Sir, this one's alive"

Barnes replied without hesitating as the radio they carried with them crackled into life.

"Okay, soldier. Get him some medical attention, the rest of you post sentries and gather round"

The radio was turned up as an experienced and gravelly voice boomed out:

"MESSAGE TO ALL PW UNITS IN SIERRA ARGENTO. EMBARK IMMEADIATELY ON AGGRESSIVE PATROLS IN ALL SUBURBS OF THE CITY FOR OUR FORCES HAVE SURROUNDED THE CITY SO NO-ONE CAN ESCAPE. ITS UP TO PATROLS INSIDE TO ROOT OUT ALL OPPOSITION. YOU WILL RECIEVE BACK-UP IF REQUIRED FROM THE LUFTWAFFE, ARTILLERY OR SPECIAL FORCES.
THAT IS ALL."

Now it was clear for all to see. Violence and opposition to the occupation would not be tolerated. The rebels had blown it for all the Neuvo Ricans and now they would be made to pay for their insolence.

In Kicevo...

Terrorist "Comrade, the foreigners and the traitors have surrounded the city of Sierra Argento".

Ringleader: "Completely surrounded? no way out for all those in there?"

Terrorist:"Yes, completely it is crawling with Government, IN and PW military. We kidnapped one of the runners in the election but now we cannot get her out of the city".

Ringleader:"Kill her. Temporarily Disband all units operating in sierra argento. Get on the radio to the offices in Rakvere, Concepcion and Dalian. I want to see that a new more widespread offensive shall take place".

Terrorist:"Yes comrade, what news of Mephiston?"

Ringleader: " He has organised an effective well armed guerilla force, he all but wipes out villages in the north, I hear that he leaves no adult survivors, kidnaps children, sends them on suicide missions".

Terrorist: "Will they find him?"

Ringleader: "He can move from place to place quickly if the worse comes to the worst he can cross the border into Neutral Eston - i - a".

Terrorist: "All offices have been contacted, D'estanza has been shot and dumped in the river".

All over the Occupied Territories of Neuvo Rica there was silence as the results of the elections were broadcast:

As the soldiers returned to their duties they remarked to each other that anyone in this torn-apart country with half a brain would have voted for the anti-terror party. Allthough this is what they said, they were thinking something else. Namely whether the anti-terror policies would be effective or not.

Fresh from his duties patrolling the streets Will Barnes dropped his arms, stiff from saluting and holding his heavy weapon, and sighed. Accompanied by three of his army friends he took some time to stroll along the many waterways of this once beautiful country.

Picking his route he chatted jovially to his friends as they traversed a river bridge and stopped to stare into the clear water below. Laughing at the fish which lapped and gulped at the surface there faces suddenly froze as the followed the fish to the rivers edge where a chilling sight caught them unawares.

A body of an adult lay prostrate and riddled with holes as it lay in the stagnant depths. The waves gently turned the body until the partially rotted face was visible. Someone vomited harshly into the river until green as his friend pointed and said before clutching his mouth:

"Who the hell. . . ?!?!?"

Barnes pulled a scrap of newspaper from his pocket and wiped it clean.

"Maria d' estanzo, election candidate. Erich, pick someone and get to a radio or phone as soon as possible. Tell them where we are and what has happened. Jesus Christ, and get a coroner too. . "

His rest cut woefully short he trudged over to his remaining buddy and placed a friendly hand on his shoulder.

"Just don't think about it Joe, these things happen."

He looked around and saw the ruined buildings, charred trees and cratered landscape.

"God, how did we get into this mess???"

OOC: Fine. We'll start the crack-down on the insurgents in Sierra Argento when you get back. New units are being pulled into the area to start the operation. They include INKommando's as well as regular soldiers. The taint of the insurgents will be cleansed. As a question, does the new leader of NR support trade agreements with our nations? I am willing to help train the new military.

The office of Inheim Rasenburg, president of the republic of Neuvo Rica today changed its policy on the trade agreement, that was being requested by both IN and PW...

"We wish to sign a trade agreement with your 2 nations. We respect the request to help train military, however we respectfully decline. The new armies are being trained by instructors from the old army".

"We agree with the movement of troops to counter insugency, this is relevant now, as there have been car bombs in Kicevo and rakvere".

"A Neuvo Rican force of 100,000 has been sent away to the TPE international area, for a TPE assault on earth II".

Inheim Rasenburg today also announced that the capital city of Neuvo Rica is to be changed. It has not yet been announced as to the new capital. Initial reports say that the Two main candidates are Dalian which is in the west and has been largely unnafected by war or Kicevo, the country's second largest city in the south.

In Kicevo...

6 Neuvo Rican jagerkommando companies run down a street in a decaying industrial region on the waterfront. The companies run silently hearing talking coming from a large warehouse up ahead. At the far end of the street on the other side of the warehouse are 20 Marines waiting to be called in as reinforcements in a possible firefight. Commander Akhenaten of the JK leads his force to the doorway. He holds up a hand as a signal for all 6 companies to stop.

"NOW"

All 6 companies run into the building, inside are dark figures, who upon hearing akhenatens command dive for cover in the shadows, using Type 56 assault rifles open into a firefight. They are no match for the JK units. To begin with it is massacre in the warehouse. Terrorists are gunned down and pinned to the sides of the building.

More terrorists enter through the rear of the building Some with heavy machinguns and several JK units are killed.

Then the marines enter destroying the heavy machineguns with grenades and clearing out the terrorists with Benelli shotguns. At the end 4 Jagerkommando are dead, 2 marines injured and 30 terrorists dead and a further 14 taken prisoner.

OOC: Time to get this show back on the road :D

IC: The night was young and the normally rampant sounds of a vibrant skyline were muffled as the assorted citizens of a frightened city tried to recover their shattered livlihoods(sp?). The dark embrace of evening was becoming total but was gradually interupted by the ominous scratchings of a PW intrusion squad squatting in a Neuvo Rican doorway.

The omni-present Major Will Barnes, now promoted to the liasons officer between army and intelligence, moved closer to the arch of a shady building as his 40 man squad shuffled down the street towards the target. The swankiest areas of the NR capital were relatively un-touched by the now all-intrusive PW squads until now.

The team moved under the tall windows holding flash and smoke grenades as more men joined them and covered the doorway, weapons and Semtex at the ready. Giving his buddies a last remainder of their daunting task and a option to get out he ordered watches to be synchronised and stared at his own as the seconds slipped by.

The grenades were hurled in, 4 or 5 smashing through the dirty glass and the men outside stood expectantly. The lower floor of the residence was suddenly enveloped with heat and smoke as the operation began.

"GO, GO, GO"

The shouts rang out loud and clear as the men ran firing from their hips into the blackened insides of a murky interior.

All around the city of Sierra Argento, fire began to pour into the city indescriminately. Planes flew over in waves dropping firey hell from above, artillery blasted buildings from afar. Close up, heavy armoured divisions, backed by infantry squads began to smash into the city, searching every building, demolishing any that stood in the way.

Flamethrowers licked the walls, burning terrorists with rightous flame. Gunfire rattled through the city, smoke and dust clouded the air. In the middle of all this INK squads flew around in helcopters, seeking targets to drop on.

The destruction of the insurgents had begun, and around the borders of NR, Imperial forces began to shut off NR in this time of war.

Today it was announced that the Neuvo Rican Republic would undergo a change of capital. The rich ports and massive fortresses of the east attracted too much attention from terror cells.

The capital would now be Dalian, Neuvo Ricas 4th largest city, a sprawling town in the Northwest of Neuvo Rica, 1000s of miles from Sierra Argento and Kicevo. The Portugese and German speaking cities of the East seem distant from this town. Dalian is one of the strongholds of the Neuvo Rican language or Kenau, a language that sounds Chinese.

After several highly succesful operations by special forces, the threat from communist groups was downgraded. All hostile communist groups on the Kicevo peninsular and in Sierra Argento have been wiped out, and the threat from Mephiston on the north seems to have run out of steam, however Mephiston has escaped, probably crossing the border in the Tanard mountains.


The nation of Neuvo Rica, has overcome most of the Communist threat, now as Neuvo Rica establishes an empire on earth II, the economic problem in Neuvo Rica is the focus for Rasenburgs government. Rasenburg must build up money to pay for the Earth II army when arms restriction ends in march.

Insurgents in the west have been assaulting one of Neuvo Ricas main incomes, the Oilfields south of Dalian, this has been a problem, and now 1 infantry division has been dispatched to deal with the problem.

It is good too see Neuvo Rica back on it's feet, but remember that we still hold lands previously within your nation, and we will continue to hold them. Please honor your agreement.

ooc:There are no specific areas of land you own... but both you and PW are welcome to establish bases. I own a huge lump of southern russia and part of antarctica. I will post more later but I am busy right now. I will continue to honour my agreement.

The news of the capital change reached the PW HQ and the rest of the nation to shattering applause and good wishes. Along with the rest of the government and top officials the Fuhrer espressed his sincerest wishes, in a public telegram released yesterday, that the change would signal the beginning of the end of the violence that has plagued Neuvo Rica's recent history.

The PW troops will remain as vigilant as ever but will now pursue a more active role in the re-development of the new Neuvo Rican state and the gaining of trust of the local population.

Today, the PW government moved 2 armoured divisions into the areas of the Dalian oilfields, and linked up with the NR forces to stamp out the insurgents who are threatening NR's vital income. The attacks which threaten to overlook the shaky peace were condemned heavily by PW and its allies.

Finally the PW cabinet extended its offer of $10,000,000 and the skills of 5,000 workers and equipment to aid in the construction and rebuilding of Neuvo Rica's wrecked infrastructure, of which a reply is being waited upon.

In line with commitments from PW, IN has decided to make $8,000,000 available to NR for the purchase of security systems to protect political leaders. No longer shall insurgents divert the course of an election.

The Republic of Neuvo Rica gratefully accepts the aid offers made by IN and PW. The Nation has little to offer in return however we would be glad to sign a permanent alliegance with both nations.

We would like to offer both IN and PW plots of land to build military bases on Neuvo Rican earth II territories in russia and antarctica.

In Sierra Argento Peace has returned to the streets and in Dalian the new government buildings are under construction.

Neuvo Rican forces remain on guard in the oilfields, and with arms restrictions soon to end, the government plans to recruit 500,000 new troops to go to E2.
The nations which Neuvo Rica gave its arsenal of nuclear weapons are to return all weapons in april.

IC: The money promised was wired yesterday along with the best wishes of those whose lives have been dedicated to the rebuilding of this beautiful country - The Aid workers and the support officers and the construction workers who will remain in Neuvo Rica for many years to come to help reconstruct the nation.

The armoured divisions were also withdrawn from the Dalian oilfields signalling the end of the uprising.

The offer of land on Earth II was graciously accepted by the government of PW, who assured them that the offer would signal a new era for all involved here. However PW added that the land would only received minimum development at the moment as the nation's resources are being stretched to capacity right now with commitments in Fultonia (a regional ally) and Neuvo Rica.

Finally the pledge of a permanent alliance was welcomed by the Fuhrer and his ministers.

c) Dalian-Veracruz-Drakkensburg Alliance (DVDA)

e) The Coalition of Peace (CP)

I think our alliance should concentrate on one thing, the prevention of genocide. If you think about it, that was why this war happened, NR was exterminating his own people. No other alliances like this exist, to my knowledge, and together we could try to stop Genocide in other nations, through diplomacy and if needs be, war.

We could recruit people to the alliance who share the same goals, and have our own forum, our own region for our puppets...?

I think the Santiago Alliance is just fine.
I do agree with Ins views here, and ultimately yes, a region may be neccesary.

I agree that Prevention of Genocide would be central to the alliance, and that prevention of it through either diplomatic or military means could lead to the prevention (or early ending) of conflicts similar to that which we had. The Republic of neuvo rica backs this pact.

I think that we need more members before starting a region. The best way to get members would be to show them what we do, ie stop someone commiting genocide. Any ideas who?

There is usually some sort of genocide taking place on the international incidents forum, we are about due for another one.

I still think we should start a region for puppets to go to, that way there is a HQ for the alliance.

Just an idea, but my region I'm in now is looking for members.
I was thinking of making a puppet (but I'm quite forgetful sometimes!) and joining but we'd have to wait a long time before we had the military muscle to persuade people to avoid genocide.

So I was wondering if you'd like to join my region* because there are powerful and mighty nations there that would support our cause and uphold it. Tell me what you think because I'm not sure about making a puppet nation because I'm rather overstretched at the moment, and I'd like to keep PW where it is. :)

*The region name is The Land Of Oppressed People but ignore it because the regions founding members have either long since disappeared or, like me, moved on politically.

Sure. Your assumption is perhaps 10% correct. The thing is the only dubious country is Mental Lands. However I am confident he would support us really he's more bark than bite!!! :)

NR, I would not worry about the irony, after all the region will not be an official home, after all our main nations are not there. The forum will be the official area. Plus, oppression is not the same as genocide.

As it stands the UN delegate currently has no control over regional settings so you can't change it if you are endorsed. It's an issue (letting UN delegates meddle with regional settings) that hasn't worked well in the past but I'd be quite happy to change it for you. :)

I would only change it so that someone could look after the region when you were away.

How about a brief synopsis of everything that happened in this, the war the peace and what the alliance is set out to do. And put our three names in it somewhere as well so that nations can identify our puppets
