Mr. Secretary,
In response to your request for information on current projects of our organization.
We were responsible for the development of the W10 Stormshadow Global RangeTroop Transport, Battle Island, Golden Dragons, Pandora's Box, and our nation's nuclear capabilities, as well as our space plane developments.

At current, we have succeeded in the following developments:

1. P.S. =Printable Skin. Our scientists and genetic engineers have created a printer capable of producing human skin for the purpose of assisting in the healing of wounds. This technology can be used on burn victims and people with serious disfigurements. Using the same principle as an ink-jet printer, we can take skin cells from a patient's body, multiply them, then print out a tailor-made strip of skin, ready to sew on to the body. The wound's dimensions are entered into the printer to ensure a perfect fit. The printer takes up the space of 3 filing cabinets. The cells are put into a special printer ink liquid and artificially multiplied. Then, the printer prints the cells on to a plastic surface, which acts like a scaffold to support the cells. Our geneticists that the plastic could then be surgically attached to the damaged part of the body and the plastic would dissolve naturally, allowing the body to use the strip of cells to repair the injury. We are currently working producing printable bone and cartilage.

2. Exxon Tube= a high speed transistor made from a carbon nanotube that operates in the microwave frequencies.

3. Tachyon Beam= A tactical high energy beam used to shoot down artillery shells. Uses deuterium fluoride chemical laser technologies. Through testing, we've shown that even an artillery projectile hurtling through the air at supersonic speed is no match for a laser. We have developed a mobile version of this defensive weapon.

These projects require that we continue to recieve government funds.

OOC: where have you been, I haven't seen you in a long time?
Busy. I'm in the field once a month now and the rest of the time I am prepping to go back to the field. If you notice my region, I am down to two nations. Having allowed the rest to die.

Automotive Spacing: Requiring Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) on all vehicles built or sold in Whittier would eliminate traffic jams by using radar to maintain safe distances between vehicles. We have determined by mathematical equations and computer models that mandating extra spacing between vehicles on the road will counter the slowness of human reaction time, whereby eliminating almost all traffic jams.
As we have determined the nature TJs to be like dominoes. The lead vehicles slam their breaks and all vehicles behind them follow suit due to them doing bumper to bumper driving. And this dominoe effect moves up the traffic lane as far as 5 miles. By the time it hits the 30th car, the original 3 or 4 vehicles have already moved out of the area.

Mental Controllers: We have created a prototype of device. When you plant the electrodes directly into someone's brain, using radio links, you can enable to them control stuff by thought alone. Though, the items to be controlled must be linked by radio waves, to the electrodes. We are still in the early experimental stages of this.

Amorphous Steel: We find that by adding yttrium to steel, we discourage crystallization. This makes the steel much much stronger than conventional steel. An addition we can cast and shape this steel in the same manner we cast plastic. And another thing we have discovered in our experiments, is that this new steel is non magnetic. We therefore beleive this could be used to new submarines and other ships which are invisible to magnetic sensing devices.

Telepathic cap: We have successfully created software, that uses electroencephalograms readings (taken from scalp electrodes) to use one of three mental to control objects such as wheelchairs. The states will be used for foward, left, and right commands.

Photonic Encryption: Our labs have found that by applying the science of quantum mechanics, we can much better secure our digital communications than we can by using computer logorithms alone.
By using photons, we can make unbreakable keys. According to the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, if someone attempted to observe these photons, they would be changed, making it impossible to steal the key. And a receiver would know that someone had attempted to hack into the system.
We have so far, found this new digital security system to be impregnable.

Sludge Away: We have created a new surfactant using rhamnolipid, a substance found in everyday dirt and on plants, that is can be used to remove heavy metals, sludge, radiation, and other contaminants from an area of land. We can also use it to make biodegradable fungicides, contact lens cleaning solutions, and other consumer cleaning products whereby helping to eliminate hazardous waste.

X Ray Radar= We have also developed a portable radar system capable of looking behind walls. The system uses extra short radio signal pulses across a range of frequencies to penetrate solid objects. It uses the pulses to create 3 dimensional images in real time of objects concealed behind walls from distances of up to 25 meters.
The images are comparable to those you get from ultrasound.

Medical Branch:
Insta-Vaccine: Relies on plasmid based reverse genetics to create a vaccine in a very short time. Developed to counter the great pandemics that ravaged Whittier's population.

Retin Chip: A tiny microchip that, when planted in a person's eye, allows them to see clearly.

Nanotechnology:

NRAM's (Nanotube Nonvolatile random access memories): Retain memory even when power is turned off, much like SRAMs. Composed of carbon nanotubes suspended like bridges 13 nanometers above an electrode. The technology relies on Van Der Waals forces. Can be used computers, cell phones, PDA's and MP3 players. Cheaper and more compact than SRAMS and faster and less powerhungry than flash memory cards.

Some people have stated that number 1 is impossible. However, these techs are based on stuff that is just coming out in rl. I am only using Omega to copyright them on NS by being the first to develop them.
Regarding 1. if it was impossible they would not have been able to do it.
For skeptics of printable skin I offer this: http://www.livescience.com/technology/050201_skin_printing.html

Now of course, it ain't going to print out skin super fast, due to fact that it relies on scaling system (much like the way the ancients built the pyramids), but it shows that printing skin can be done.
From the site:
"Doctors would take cells from a patient’s body, multiply them, and suspend them in a nutrient-rich liquid similar to ink. A technician would enter measurements of a patient’s wound into a computer and feed the suspended cells into the printer."
"The cells would then be seeded on a plastic tissue scaffold, which provides shape and stability to the new piece of skin as it develops. The scaffold would also anchor the perfectly shaped piece of skin over the wound, once applied, keeping the graft in place until it takes hold.

The scaffold would dissolve naturally over time, just as some stitches do.

"The cells are the patient’s own cells and the object is to reincorporate them into the body," project leader Brian Derby told LiveScience. "

So contrary to what some of you might believe, the skin does not come from nowhere. I honestly don't know how anyone could come to that conclusion.

Picture of the skin inkjet printer. The light green thing on the bottom is the scaffolding that the machine grows the skin on.
