The Christian Armed Revolution
The Erdzig Law Topic (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=392853)
Almost instantly after the ‘Erdzig Law’ went into effect, numerous rebel organizations from the country side resurfaced. Their numbers however had been greatly reduced as the HZD had been actively hunting their members for years. But there was a man who sought to unite the factions under one flag and one ideal.
That man was Erik Shastel, an ex-military officer who had fled to the country side to avoid persecution by the government. He was quick to form the ‘Krishtan Kampfrei’ or Christian Guerillas but the organization saw little action. However upon news of the ‘Erdzig Law’ and the re-birth of the revolution Shastel claimed to have spoken with God and was commanded to unite the factions against the Emperor. The organization was to be called the ‘Krishtan Agvest Revolutzion’ or Christian Armed Revolution.
At its conception, the KAR was 150,000 strong and growing each day. However they were still seeking new members as well as a way to get notice from the government. Shastel and his top lieutenants conceived a plan that would easily accomplish both. All he needed were the proper resources...
(I would highly prefer if nations who posted in the Erdzig Law respond to the KAR's request for supplies, rather than some nation I don't know about that wasn't concerened with those matters)

Henry Bolofede might be Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, but he is not a man to stand on ceremony, especially not when he's only going to see his godson. His godson is President now, but is that any reason to break the habit of a lifetime?
"Edward, I wish you'd at least knock. What if I'd had an Ambassaor in here?"
"Then you'd tell them that I was to be horsewhipped for insubordination. I do understand the need to keep up appearances, Bongo."
"Alright, get on with it. What have you got?"
"It's Avadria, Bongo. You remember that Erdzig unpleasantness?"
"Yes, of course. Bunch of Nazi morons."
"Funnily enough, that's what our travel advisory said about them at the time. Well, we've had contact with a Christian insurgency. They're not best pleased, Bongo, as you can imagine. They're appealing for assistance. What do you think?"
"I think I've seen some nasty bastards with crosses in their hands. Keep a close eye on them, Blowers. And get Asane on it, tell him I want contingency planning for covert logistical, covert military and conventional military support scenarios. And if you can get hold of these insurgents, tell them not to do anything stupid. They'll be needing friends where they're going. If I see a marketplace bomb, they can kiss their cause celebre goodbye."
"Consider it all done, Mr. President"
"That's better."
Unknown Location, Bavenlend, Avadria
----------
A small tent camp in the southern mountains of Bavenlend was assembeld as the main headquarters for the KAR. The tents were carefully concealed so that it would be fairly difficult for the HZD or any other person unaware of their location to notice. As well, surrounding the camp were numerous armed guards, ready and willing to die for their beliefs.
Inside one of the tents, undistinguishable from the rest, a young man in fatigues, presumably in his mid thirties, sat infront of a large map placed on the ground before him. Around the map was other men, dressed in a much similar fashion. Each of them seemed to pouring over the details of what was unmistakably a plan of some sort.
Then a man in his early twenties entered, he was a messanger of some sort. The messanger approached Shastel and saluted.
"Sir, our operatives have managed to make contact with various foriegn powers who may support our cause." He said, informing his leader that one of the preliminary objectives had been completed.
Shastel nodded, not looking up at the messanger. "Good, let us pray that they will support our righteous cause" He said in the solemn, mysterious, tone they were used to hearing. Then Shastel motioned for the messenger to kneel beside the other men to join them in prayer.

To: Erik Shastel of the KAR
We are ready to equip, train, and arm any soldiers you would like to send into battle against the anti-religious faction of Avadria. Any request will be granted, within reason so long as it is used against the Avadrian government.

We are not certain what you have to offer. We welcome anything we can get, but particulary need food stuffs, portable shelters, automatic weapons, ammuntion, bomb materials, and if possible land based transportation. Pickup of such supplies would have to be handeled out of country.

OOC:Mind if the Heart of Armaggeddon(AKA:Red Tide Mafia... but you probably already knew that) starts selling weapons to the Christians? If not... ignore this post.
IC:It was garunteed to happen, The Red tide Mafia saw the Christian Zealots preparing to rebel and immediatly sent them a message.
Secret Message from unknown source to Christian Revolutionary's
"We are willing to offer you our Black Market stocks.... T-80U's, SA-7's, RPG-16's, KA-50's, AEK-101's, maybe even some FROG-7's and SCUD-A's... with your consent of course. All we ask in return is a payment of the full value of the item we sell to you."
END MESSAGE
The Red Tide Goverment however... didnt even know about the trouble..
Now, beside the large map sat a thick notebook. It's contents filled with thousands of one page backgrounds about Christian's imprisoned in Camp 29. The notebook being only one of a dozen or so complied by KAR operatives in the government. Several people had managed to hack into the Ministry of Domestic Affairs archives and acquire files on other Christians who may indeed be future members.
With this knowledge and the plan of attack ready, all they needed were more weapons. And for this Shastel had a contact who may be able to supply them.
Encrypted Message From KAR
We need small arms, nothing big. 12,500 AEK's and 5,000 RPGs should do well for now. There are men in the nation of Sahklian who will accept the weapons and pay you. You can leave the rest to us.
-KAR
End Message
OOC: Sahklian is along the North East border of Avadria, it's a small nation (NPC of mine) that is aligned with Avadria. Has one of the few large passes through the mountain range that surrounds a majority of the nation.
I hate to do it but
Bump!

Top Secret Message
"Our operatives will meet you there with the AEKs and RPGs... we expect your men to have the money... and it better be the EXACT price or there WILL be trouble."
[-Do not threaten us-]
That was the single, ominous, message Shastel used in reply to their foriegn business associates. However now it was in the hands of one of his lieutenants and a small band of men.
---
It had been a four days drive up from the south towards the border between Avadria and Sahklian, and by their estimations it would take at least another day to arrive at their destination. However the cause behind it was just and great, or so Shastel had told them.
The convoy of four large, blue-gray, semi-trucks, each bearing the logo of the East Avadrian Shipping Company, approached the border between the two nations. As they neared the checkpoint, the trucks were ordered to pull off into the zone for commercial transports. After a brief inspection and payment of the toll, they were let onto the Vost Dolzep, a large highway that was carved out of the mountains seperating Avadria and Sahklian.
---
Upon arriving in the small city of Negransk, each truck went it's seperate way. They would each head to one of the four pickup points that had been established, each truck carrying it's own sum of money to pay for the supplies.
The lead truck, driven by Allen Zefron, approached it's destination, a small hanger owned by a 'friend' of Shastel. It entered the hanger and came to a stop, it's occupants each readying their weapons in the case of an ambush. Afterall the ZKG could be anywhere.
((Vost Dolzep means East Mountain Pass and the ZKG (Zabekaden Alledansk Gevast) is the Foreign Operations Service, sort of a CIA organization I suppose. For the trucks, think of them as like a European or Asian style semi.))

Another Semi drove into the hangar. It was loaded with the AEKs and RPGs. A HOA Officer carrying a G-36 got out of the truck, 3 HOA thugs in ski masks, armed with AEKs of their own got out of the truck.
The officer looked to his left, and to his right... searching for... something. He gave up his search-with relief on his face-and walked up to Shastel. He smiled a bit then took out a 'Russian-Avadrian Language Dictionary'. In Avadrian he said in a heavily Russian accented voice(with long pauses in between words as he searched for a translation), "Hello... My... name... is.. Irovan Leroski... I... am... the... contact... Do... you... know... Russian?"
OOC:HOA Officers speak Russian, English, and their native language(which is most likely Russian, Since Red Tide is predominantly Russian).
"Nyet" Zefron said, recalling the little russian he knew. "I speak english." He replied, although in a thick accent. Allen took a step forward, followed by the two guards at his side.
"I am Allen Zefron" He said before motioning towards the fourth man that was with his group to step forward. The man approached from an odd angle and was wielding a fair sized, black briefcase. All the money was in there, of course it was only in Cetina, but it would suffice.
((I felt like doing a rough translation of what he might have said in Avadrian: "Hagon, Im nom ist Irovan Leroski, Im ist daet kontakt. Sug spak rushik?"
As well, it's a lieutenant that's meeting with him. Shastel wouldn't leave the camp unless he had to, or if it was for an attack))

OOC: Did you come up with this all by yourself? I Know very little Russian... I just picked their language because... They made some kickbutt tanks :p . should've read that post more closely.
IC:"Ah good." The Officer said in moderately accented English. " Glad to meet you. The other trucks should be meeting your men by now. I am glad to see you brought the cash... The Boss and The Circle of Five are sometimes a bit suspicous dealing with new customers. Do you need any information on how to use the weapons?"
OOC:The Boss is the leader of the HOA, The Circle of Five is his 5 advisors.
Allen shook his head. "No, I believe that we are perfectly capable of handling them ourselves." He said in response, rather offended at the man's question. Allen then motioned for the man with the briefcase to step forward.
The man approached and held the case up, showing the money to the officer.
"I'm afraid it is all in Cetina, but everything is accounted for." Allen said to the man.
((OOC: Yeah I made it up, I plan on posting a travel guide to Avadria and including the language part of it. As well I need to post the alphabet, although there is one character I still need to make.))

"Ah... good. Usually when we deal with freedom fighters we have to show them how to use the weapon." The officer said as he took the briefcase. "It is a pleasure doing buisness with you." He his men had loaded the weapons while they were talking and had just finished. The HOA officer and thugs got back into their semi truck and drove out.
Once the weapons were loaded, the Avadrians entered their trucks and made their departure. Each truck made it's way towards the checkpoint that fed into the Ost Dolzep. However they met up at one of the large motels that serviced exhausted truck drivers heading between the nations.
---
In the morning their journey back continued. Much to their relief, commercial traffic heading into Avadria was high, so the main objective of the guards was to check the papers and send them through as quickly as possible. Each of the trucks got through without error and continued on towards their destination.
---
After surveying the surplus of weapons, Shastel declared things to be ready. They would move out in five days.
